3 Writing Improvements

Hmm, I guess pushing myself outside of my comfort zone to write more explicit content was a big one for me in 2022? On that note, also pushing myself to just be more vulnerable in general when it comes to sharing my writing. I took a memoir class where I let myself do so, and it resulted in writing that was some of my best so far, and I’m sure that’ll help with fic writing. I’ve also been trying to play around with using different tenses.

1. Try again to get my short story published.

2. Write longer fics.

Since it was Nik who tagged me, I’ll pick a line from the fic I gifted them last fall, Forever... (is a long time).

“It’s been so long,” Jack said. John watched him, curiously. “I don’t have any memories of him anymore, just the information on this.” He held up his left wrist. “A photograph, a date of birth, some small things about him. I know I promised him I’d remember him, but I’m struggling to even do that.”
