final thoughts: CAN YOU BELIEVE WE STILL HAVEN’T HEARD JEREMY SING SOLO????? OUTRAGEOUS. no but actually. his touch me scene would have been perfect for a realization moment for simon. i’m really hoping we see that later because it would HIGHKEY be a wasted opportunity. (more thoughts under the cut)

anyway. a LOT happened in this episode, but not as much as last week. lou had his breakdown. tbh don’t really care about his storming out bc tracey could still save this show. also it felt like lou was almost purposefully jabbing at robbie, so not surprising there.

we had like,,, not enough lilette this ep. i wish they’d put more into her storyline. it feels like she got robbie and kind of faded back. at most she acts as a vice in her mother’s storyline with coach or as the supporting character in simon’s.

which reminds me: simon’s storyline. quite probably one of the best aspects of the show. ted does a fantastic job of showing simon’s emotional turmoil and sean is swell as usual, even if he’s a side character. that confrontation was REALLY nice to see because i was worried they were gonna portray jeremy as liking simon no matter how harsh simon could be, so i’m glad to see jeremy standing up for himself a little bit even if it’s making simon more conflicted. also i was CACKLING at the fucking deadpan woybr scene like the way jeremy just looks away and rubs his nose and simon’s sitting there like fuck and lou’s like,,, please,,,,,, can we have this one thing,,,, god that’s the peak of comedy sorry to say it. i’m super excited to see more going forward.

and sasha and michael?? heckin cute. i really liked that they showed the impacts of what both are going through and that they resolved it peacefully in the end. i ALSO appreciate that they’re showing sasha really thinking through whether or not she’s keeping the baby, even though her douchey boyfriend seems convinced she’s getting an abortion.

also, if they hurt my boy maashous i’ll riot. i feel like we’re gonna see a lot more maashous angst moving forward and idk if i’m ready. his scene with the wife and the dryer where he literally thought he was getting himself kicked out was beautiful, rarmian did great. 

also gwen and gordy are together and they fucked on the beach gross do u know how bad sand is for your hoo-hah so i guess that’s that?? like what else are they gonna do with that now???

anyway,,, siremy was the highlight of the episode but who’s surprised. also annabelle was being a self-centered hecker and like,, that’s not you barb what is you doing.

i just went on a massive rant about rise and how ridiculous it is that the cancelled it on twitter and snapchat and all my friends are probably Done™ but they need to know

I’M NOT OKAY, NO NO NO

Just watched the 1x04 episode. Besides Rilette that were SUPER SUPER SUPER ADORABLE (the way they look at each other and the kiss!) and also Tracey and the other teacher (soooo cute!) there are SIMON AND JEREMY. THAT FREAKING CAR SCENE. JEREMY. The way he tries to keep it cool, like hey it's okay, everything is fine, we almost did a show together but it was just school and I clearily misunderstood everything between us during rehearsals except that NO, I'M NOT OKAY, YOU'RE LEAVING AND I WON'T SEE YOU AGAIN AND THIS IS HOW IT ENDS. Jeremy's voice is almost BROKEN when he tells Simon that HE'S GONNA MISS HIM. This thing killed me because you can feel Jeremy's heart breaking, like I wanted to jump inside the screen and go there and hug him, telling him that NO, DON'T CRY, HE FEELS FOR YOU IT'S JUST CONFUSED AND NOT READY, ALSO HE'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE. But I'm here waiting to see his reaction when Simon's back to Stanton, the way Jeremy smiles when he sees him makes me swoon everytime. Simon was so scared in that scene. I don't know if he was already sick for drinking (although he didn't seem drunk, no idea if you can have that side effect regardless), but he just wanted to get off the car. Like he really feared something could happen with Jeremy, being the last time they would see each other, like Jeremy could kiss him (and he wanted to, my poor baby) or talking about his feelings. Part of me thinks that maybe that's why he got sick, not because of the drinking. I can only imagine his inner turmoil, I've never experienced a thing like that (I'm straight) nor I have ever had friends dealing with it (I've some friends, but I met them when they were already past that). I can only hope that when this will be clearer for him and he'll allow himself to be, to feel the way he's feeling right now for Jeremy, he won't feel wrong anymore. Or a disappointment. I KNOW that Jeremy would love him exactly the way he is and I think that's the best thing in the whole world. Accepting and loving yourself, love and letting others loving you no matter what. On a side note: I know it's unpopular opinion, but I really can't stand Gordy. Not one bit. SORRY NOT SORRY. I get he has problems and probably feel like he's been adopted because he's so different from his whole family, but I can't stand his permanent I-hate-you-all face. Also I think that the combo with Gwen IS NOT GOOD. NOT AT ALL.
