So I've been thinking about a crossover between Return of the Mount Hua Sect and Scum Villain.
Cheong Myeong dies (for the second time) and transmigrates into PIDW, unknown to him.
He plans to stay away from the sects until he hears of the Bai Zhan, a peak full of strong immortals that aren’t, well, wimpy appearing like everyone else. Cheong Myeong takes the test, surprised to be met with a hill— oh, wait, no, that’s being classified as a mountain.
Cheong Myeong bypasses everyone else and ends up at the peak, grinning as he presents himself in front of the peak lord, Liu Qinggue. 
And, he supposes, that flying on a sword is pretty cool as well.
Shen Qingqiu takes one look at the pair, and mutters with distaste, “There’s two of them now.”
Shang Qinghua looked at Cheong Myeong like he’s a puzzle, before shouting, “Mount Hua Sect, right!?”
Disciples Shen Yuan and Luo Binghe meet them by accident. Luo Binghe’s found someone to look up to as a physical cultivator that's out of the norms, and Shen Yuan knows to stay out of Cheong Myeong’s way. No way will he turn into some thuggish delinquent!

I've been thinking about this a little more, and realized that Cheong Myeong would have to instead be a rogue cultivator or something. Not because Bai Zhan Peak wouldn't be a great fit for him, but rather because of the colors of Bai Zhan.
White robes with blue accents are what Bai Zhan disciples wear, right?
Guess who else wears white robes with blue accents? Zhongnan/Southern Edge sect.
I don't think that Cheong Myeong would ever wear robes that were white and blue(outside of impersonating Zhongnan for personal gain).
Maybe something could be worked out, like Liu Qinggue letting Cheong Myeong wear black/white and pink robes instead if he lasted a certain amount of time against Liu Qinggue or killed a certain beast. I dunno. Ever since I realized that Zhongnan and Bai Zhan have similar robes, I've been trying to figure out how else it could work.
Cheong Myeong being a rogue cultivator popped into mind. Perhaps someone that had more freedom to do as he pleased... but alas, I still really like the idea of him being a disciple forced to put up with other disciples.
Or the idea of him being liked by Bai Zhan, and disliked by everyone else.
And the idea of him being the youngest Bai Zhan disciple for a couple of years because everyone was too afraid to join Bai Zhan after they heard rumors about the torturous training they did under Cheong Myeong's watch.
... I'm convincing myself again that this AU is possible, even with Bai Zhan's colors being white and blue. Hmm.

want to relive some of the top moments of the 2024 atp season?
(all mentioned events from my atp poll)
1) daniil medvedev and melbourne
- was this the cause of danya’s 2024 season downfall? probably. he played four five setters, two of which he started two sets down. his match against emil ended at around 1 am. he beat z*erev in the funniest way possible. he earned himself a new record stat: playing the most sets ever at a slam (31) in the open era. and from two sets up once again, he lost a heartbreaking slam final. but the fact that he managed to reach the final is incredible: i really hope his sufferings get rewarded. maybe 4th times the charm?

2) the great bee invasion of indian wells
- i don’t know how this happened. i don’t know why this happened. why did the bees solely target carlos? why were they there in the first place? is carlos actually winnie the pooh? this event doesn’t seem real, but it sure gave us the best memes of the year. shout out to lance, the bee man.

3) indian wells quarterfinal: rune vs medvedev
- people underestimate how fucking hilarious this interaction was. holger hit a defensive body shot but danya didn’t see holger’s apology. in classic danya fashion, he 1) snake-eyes holger and 2) mocks rune’s famous short-shorts. the best part: this beef lasted approximately an hour. “if you want we can talk about this in the locker room ” “there is no reason to talk about it” oh okay then. worlds shortest tennis spat.

4) madrid 2024
- this was the atp’s cursed tournament of the year. /@/fritzes has a lovely post about this so do check that out! ill just simplify this chaos here for now. carlos lost to rublev and jannik withdrew half an hour later. jiri received a walkover to the semis after daniil retired, and then jiri gifted a walkover himself to FAA. in total, FAA received 3 walkovers on route to the final, two of which were the QF and SF. andrey ended up winning the title, uncharacteristically calm. is this a new rublev? no. he was playing with tonsillitis, antibiotics, baby food, and a dream. what an absurd two weeks.
5) holger rune versus the ATP
- holger vs jannik on monte carlo clay never fails to deliver drama. in response to his unfortunate scheduling situation—having to finish two matches in a day due to rain delay and leaving him without proper rest for his match against jannik (who later won)—holger leaves a salty reply on his twitter account. i hope he never gets a socmed manager.
6) corentin moutet
- i can’t believe this didn’t get voted more, moutet during clay season was absolutely fucking hilarious. not only was he the first victim of rg’s new umpire head camera (him being a tennisblr hit post makes this even better), but in madrid, he caused a scene with the poor umpire bcause of his dire need for coffee. i also believe this match against shang was also the match where he managed to get hit by a sprinkler on the opposite court. to top it all off, in rome during his match against djokovic, his phone alarm randomly goes off mid match. even novak was amused.
i’m not even done. this man nearly bageled the unstoppable jannik sinner in round 4 of the french open. this man reached 5-0 AD-40 but somehow, the carrot head managed to save two games, denying moutet that bagel. i’m kinda mad that jannik clutched it: that would’ve been the funniest stat of the year.
7) tomas machac and his shorts
- okay i will give credit where credit is rightfully due. machac defeated djokovic in geneva. he beat alcaraz is shanghai. he won olympic gold for czechia in mixed doubles with his….…um…….with katerina siniakova. he probably has even better accomplishments this year, i just don’t know them at the top of my head.
but he will eternally be remembered as booty shorts machac. his shorts were literally shorter than katerina’s in paris. is it a distraction tactic? gives him better speed? is it effective? who knows. he pulls it off, i guess. (honorable mention: his antics against jannik in shanghai)

8) the resurgence of stefaniil
-what a great time to be a stefaniil truther during the laver cup this year. i think pictures speak louder than words, especially in this case, so enjoy. and for the video, please play it with audio.

9) hubert hurkacz
-hubi was so unhinged this year oml. he started his year by making iga cry at the united cup after poland’s doubles loss against germany. at roland garros, he attempted the most awkward, failed attempt at a coup. the words “hey G…” will follow his career just like “small cat” follows daniil. grigor’s expression of complete bewilderment and “really man? you’re doing this?” was the cherry on top.
oh i’m not done. i truly don’t know what possessed him at wimbledon this year. after fucking up his knee during his match against fils, he goes on court after a quite lengthy MTO and decides to dive AGAIN. he promptly retires on match point. like brother what. my favorite part of this situation is wawrinka and monfils both getting caught shit-talking hubi afterwards, saying something is wrong with his head. oh hubi
he disappeared for a little bit due to that injury but at the tail end of the season, he delivers one last hilarious moment. would love a look into his brain.
10) jack draper and jannik sinner: puke besties
- oh the friendship that rocked the tennis world. this relationship is fascinating: jack is full of swag and jannik is the literal definition of swagless (it’s okay we still love him for it.) this friendship saga is a two part experience. it first began in montreal with dinner doubles…and the infamous ass slap heard around the world. jannik reveals that he and jack are “good friends” which first of all, carlos alcaraz found dead in a ditch. THEN a month later, they’re projected to play each other in the USO semis and even more details are revealed. wdym they text each other often? WHAT DO YOU MEAN JAN AND JACK COOKED PASTA TOGETHER? WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON???
then the actual semi itself: horrendous. for them, not tennis wise though because those first two sets were actually pretty competitive…until jack threw up the first time, bless his heart. two historically-known sickly victorian children playing during the humid day session: that’s a recipe for disaster. at least the net hug was cute. (honorable mention: the anna & jannik bf memes that emerged)
11) taylor fritz vs arthur rinderknech
- okay this moment needs some context. flashback to roland garros, round two, 2023. taylor fritz is facing the last french man remaining in the main draw, and as per usual….the french crowd is being french (no offense), rowdy and rude. taylor keeps his cool until he wins the match and he:
hot. i mean what who said that.
honestly, this is an iconic image, biases aside. could it get better than this?

flash forward to wimbledon 2024, r2. both taylor and his french nemesis are projected to meet again, and rinderknech has a few words to say.
yeah taylor wasn’t going to take that. after taking the win against rinderknech, he came up to the net and dropped the best comeback of the year:

I don’t know if I will ever do anything with this…or if I do, when it would ever be finished, but here, have a random conversation between Hailan and Ruyi if Xiao Yan Zi landed in Ruyi!verse instead. Also, I guess this is meant to be read as a sequel to The Space Between the Finish and the Start. @renewedmotionforjudgment this might be in your areas of interest 😆
“Jiejie, do you think Fu Er Tai might be a good match for Xiao Yan Zi? Now that Ming Zhu Ge Ge is to marry Fu Er Kang, and they being as close as sisters, surely Xiao Yan Zi would welcome such a match.”
“Is there a reason you suddenly are concerned with Xiao Yan Zi’s prospects? Do you truly want to match Xiao Yan Zi with Fu Er Tai for her happiness, or do you simply want to remove what you see as a threat elsewhere?”
“Jiejie knows me too well. I do not wish to hide my feelings from you in this matter. Yong Qi would never do anything to wrong Fu Er Tai. If Xiao Yan Zi is married to him, Yong Qi will have to close the door on any possibilities as well.”

“I doubt that men could feel so deeply, with what privilege always at their disposal to move from old to new. Even…before, Yong Qi got over it soon enough.”
“Do you think it was soon enough, or did he just have us think so?”
“Either way, he got over it. And he will get over it again.”
“You are either selling Yong Qi short, or project onto him what he does not possess, Hai Lan. He is your son. Do you not feel, given what he has already gone through, given what is still in his future, that he deserves a little source of comfort?” 
“You desired to be that source of comfort once to Huang Shang, Jiejie. How has that turned out, in the end?”
“Again, I think you are projecting.”
“Perhaps. But I cannot help it.”
They had never spoken of it, but it would be impossible for Ru Yi to not understand. Yong Qi had always looked so much like his father, and this has always been a source of pain to Hai Lan. Ru Yi did not doubt that Hai Lan did love Yong Qi, in her own way, but that love could never be free from the fact that Yong Qi only ever existed because Hai Lan had had to force herself to accept the touch of a man who had once destroyed her so viscerally in order to save Ru Yi. That every time Hai Lan looked at him, she could not prevent herself from also seeing someone else instead.
Ru Yi had stopped making excuses for him with Hai Lan a long time ago. When it had happened, Qing Ying had been desperate to excuse him by blaming the alcohol, and soothing her own guilt by doing what she could for Hai Lan. But she understood now that he had never changed…the man he was today had always been there, she just refused all evidence pointing in that direction until she could no longer avoid them. 
But Yong Qi was not his father. This Ru Yi knew. After all, she could not have had so little impact on Yong Qi after having him by her side for so much of his childhood. But she also knew why Hai Lan found it hard to look beyond the exterior, but perhaps because Ru Yi had always felt she owed Yong Qi her freedom, she had always seen him as hers first and foremost. Because the truth was, Yong Qi had been born for her.

14/? Luo Binghe is SO NORMAL about Shen Yuan

Read up through even numbered parts on Ao3
From the beginning of the conference, Luo Binghe was miserable. The monsters were easy enough kills, but with each bead came another disciple sniffing around for an easy mark. Despite his many solo missions, Luo Binghe didn't have much of a reputation in the cultivation world, so the bottom dwellers didn't even know who he was; they just wanted cheap points.
His robes were different from the standard Qing Jing uniform, both with the edging noting him as a personal disciple and with his own embroidery. But instead of identifying him correctly, most of his peers assumed he was Ming Fan, the Head Disciple of Qing Jing Peak. Why they thought he would agree to help them after getting his name wrong was beyond Luo Binghe's understanding, but they were teenagers.
The worst offenders were from Huan Hua Palace. Even after two years and change as a teen again himself, Luo Binghe struggled to accurately guess the ages of other kids, but some of these brats had to be under sixteen. There was jailbait and then there was actually infants. He wasn't convinced all of them had started puberty.
Not that he was too surprised. After Luo Baixiao, the primary antagonist of IRS was the Huan Hua Palace Master. The disgusting old man had transformed Shen Yuan into a child and dressed him up in little girls' robes and jewelry. It was in that later arc that Shen Yuan revealed his skills as an array master. Arrays were hard to set up, but used relatively little spiritual energy to activate.
After hiding that he hadn't lost his memories in the physical regression, Shen Yuan spent weeks meticulously carving an array into the floorboards under his bed. He'd finally been able to send a detailed message of his circumstances back to Cang Qiong Mountain triggering the iron fist of every other Peak Lord to descend. In true Snowballing fashion, the cavalry arrived just in time to prevent the Moonlit Purity Ceremony without ever explaining what the fuck that was supposed to be.
Luo Binghe's regular artists had been disappointed that he didn't want any child Shen Yuan art. He'd written a ten thousand character email tearing his favorite apart before not sending it. They just wanted a paycheck; no one actually wanted to sexualize little A-Yuan, least of all, him. In the end he'd sent a few laughing emoji and said he was way too horny on main to want that.
However, the forum commenters were fair game and felt the full weight of Luo Binghe's wrath for degrading his beloved.
So it wasn't surprising the Old Palace Creep sent little girls to fight terrible monsters.
Though, perhaps, if he'd had an entourage of hangers on he would have realized the invasion started earlier than he did. As it was, he didn't know the main event started until he came across the body of a Tian Yi Outlook disciple. With a grim set to his mouth, Luo Binghe put a protective array over the body and launched one of the seventeen flares Shen Yuan loaded him down with.
As he stared at the used firework, Luo Binghe's expression twisted further into a tight frown. Why had Shen Yuan given him so many? Luo Binghe was head and shoulders above his cohort and Shen Yuan was obviously proud of his strength. And even if Shen Yuan thought he would fail, why would he possibly need more than one and a spare?
If Shang Qinghua was the traitor, Shen Yuan was his best friend and closest confidante. Did Shen Yuan know the sabotage was coming? No, he wouldn't have risked disciple lives. At most, he thought something bad might happen. It could even have just been intuition or the misguided belief Luo Binghe would go out of his way to help the other participants if they ran into trouble.
[New Main Scenario Quest: "Pledges of Frost and Flame" Objective: Rendezvous with Shen Qingchun.]
Leaving the disciple behind, Luo Binghe infused his legs with qi and leapt through the terrain. He didn't like the sound of that, but was promising at the same time. The tear to the Endless Abyss was described as flaming and Linguang-jun was a noble ice demon. What happened next wouldn't be good, but it would finally answer a lot of questions.

I don't really agree with your takes on Kuai Liang. You hold him to a standard far higher than his circumstances allow him. You say he should have confronted the Lin Kuei but the moment he saw them, they immediately tried to kill him and Tomas without any chance. You assume Liu Kang helped him when an intro suggests Liu has left him on his own. You say he should have returned and taken over Lin Kuei, people who rejected him and never gave him a chance but take issue when he tries to get stronger to face them. You conveniently leave out the part Kuai wants others to not touch Bi-Han and Lin Kuei and that's why he's in Outworld to stop Bi-Han according to intros.
I think you're more than a little biased against MK1 Kuai. It's getting obvious.
That’s perfectly fine if you do not agree with my take on Kuai Liang. I’m not here to convince you or anyone to my ideas, simply explaining my reasoning since you asked 🙂

I think you mistake two separate events. I said he should confront Lin Kuei when he learned the truth about Bi-Han not aiding their father in need, right away when he defeated and captured his brother. Tomas thought he would do so, to take the title of Grandmaster and prevent further damage. But Kuai Liang outright rejected this idea, thinking Cyrax and Sektor would still stick to Bi-Han despite the grave accusation. In that scene Kuai Liang chose to cut his ties with Grandmaster, as was seen when he removed his emblemant of Lin Kuei, saying "You are my grandmaster no longer" . Which I guess could count as him leaving the clan. 
From story mode we know only that they took Bi-Han with themselves and a few chapters later, Tomas noted that Lin Kuei refused to aid Liu Kang. But as far as dialogue goes, neither Scorpion nor Smoke said they were attacked by Lin Kuei or in any other way persecuted and I don’t think there is any source claiming that for this specific point in time. Otherwise Kuai Liang and Tomas would either mention they needed to run away from their people to join Liu Kang for the battle or would not be there at all, if the clan wished them dead or hurt.
The attack you mentioned comes AFTER Titan Shang Tsung was defeated and again, comes from Scorpion’s ending and not story mode itself. Which is a second, separate event from the one I referred to in my previous post. In my opinion Kuai Liang should take control over the clan right away Bi-Han was compromised, because it was his duty as the second-in-line. And most likely he was trained for that possibility, as being Lin Kuei was a hazardous job and Grandmaster Sub-Zero was personally involved with doing Fire Lord’s bidding. So no, I don’t think this is holding Kuai Liang to a higher standard, as he is not a mere warrior forced to step in and solve the critical situation all by himself but a man raised as part of the ruling family and with a birthright to do so. Expecting Scorpion to do his duty hardly feels like demanding too much. But it is perfectly fine if anyone does not agree on this one with me. 
So yes, I say he should have confronted Lin Kuei and no, Tomas and Kuai Liang were not immediately attacked between chapters. Lin Kuei refused to aid Liu Kang and at this certain point in the story, it is all they did as far as source materials goes to my knowledge.

Yes, I assume so, as for me characters BIO and story mode are a more truthful source than intro dialogues that don’t give us the full context of the interaction, or characters’ endings that aren’t always 100% compatible with the next game (and I do acknowledge that my opinion about Scorpion's ending may change once the new story will be released). Sadly, I have no idea what intro dialogue you're referring to. It would be helpful if you could paraphrase it for me. I checked out MK Warehouse’s page but did not see anything fitting? Or did you actually mean Scorpion’s ending?

Yes, as I said before he should do so right away when Bi-Han allied with Shang Tsung but was defeated in one on one match. Sure, the sources strongly imply for us that no Lin Kuei beside Tomas supported Kuai Liang which I admit is pretty surprising. I imagine there were still plenty of people who loyally served his father and to think all of them rejected Scorpion in Sub-Zero’s favor says a lot about the political mood within the clan. Me wishing for Kuai Liang to confront Lin Kuei right away after the failed mission is not saying he would succeed but he definitely could at least try. Instead all the story mode said on the matter is that he doesn’t think Lin Kuei will make him the next Grandmaster due to Cyrax and Sektor, which again raises a question why his socio-political status would be so low between his folks if BIO alone introduced Scorpion as a REVERED Lin Kuei Warrior.

If you meant “return and take over Lin Kuei” in regard to leaks, then again, I do stand by my previous statement. He should take an active part in bringing back Lin Kuei on the righteous path, reclaiming his home and position, if he truly was so dedicated to his duty and father’s teaching. Otherwise leaving Lin Kuei on their own terms may lead to another conflict and in result put Earthrealm at risk. I do not say doing so would be pleasant or easy for Kuai Liang, but what else could be a better way to honor his father and the tradition he revered so much than personally restoring father’s legacy? A legacy for which Scorpion rejected his own brother and future offered by Sub-Zero? Though again, feel free to disagree, as this is just my personal opinion. 
I take no issue with Kuai LIang getting stronger and preparing for the war. I would be quite disappointed if he didn’t do so, as he is warrior first and foremost. Last time I only pointed out that MK1 Kuai Liang has better means to face Lin Kuei than his previous incarnations even had. Which is why I rejected your statement Scorpion and Tomas had not enough time or resources to do anything. If we go with intro dialogues, it seems they used the given opportunity very well, as in the relatively short time Shirai Ruy rose in such power they felt ready to face Lin Kuei on their own terms. Or more precisely: hunt down Bi-Han.
Scorpion: Bi-Han's trail has led me to Sun Do. Li Mei: I'll abide no vigilante justice, Kuai Liang.

You conveniently leave out the part Kuai wants others to not touch Bi-Han and Lin Kuei and that's why he's in Outworld to stop Bi-Han according to intros.
Conveniently leaving? Nah, the only reason I did not go into great details about all intro dialogues is simply the fact that those intros do not contradict in any way my statement. Both brothers are fully ready and willing to hurt each other to fulfill their goals and show little regret over this (with only Tomas actually preferring the reconciliation). Kuai Liang rejecting Kitana or Raiden’s help or Mileena's demands as he wishes to deal with Bi-Han by himself is not an example of Scorpion regretting the fratricidal struggle. Same with Bi-Han rejecting Havik’s offer
Havik: Aid me, and I'll destroy the Shirai Ryu. Sub-Zero: That is *my* privilege, Havik.
Funny though how you conveniently left that Bi-Han too rejected help from his allies in regard Kuai Liang at least once or that he actually is willing to make peace with Liu Kang (what most likely would stop the war between brothers)
Sub-Zero: You want peace? Let us be. Liu Kang: The Lin Kuei's sins aren't easily forgiven.
or that he is willing accept Tomas back if he submit 
Smoke: Are we to be enemies for life? Sub-Zero: Unless you submit, Tomas.
Which is not much, but frankly, at this moment it is more than Kuai Liang’s intros offer in regard to calming the clans war. Understandable, as Scorpion has right to be bitter and angry but even Liu Kang is concerned about his vengeance:
Liu Kang: You allow vengeance to consume you. Scorpion: I should not punish Bi-Han for his crimes?
But like I said, showing a bit of good will here and there or brothers seeing their conflict as personal matters that should be resolved between them does not contradict my statement that both Bi-Han and Kuai Liang are willing to face the other in fight and if needed, even hurt each other’s friends and family. So in all fairness, I’m not sure what you are accusing me here? 
I think you're more than a little biased against MK1 Kuai. It's getting obvious.
The thing I’m definitely biased towards is the NRS forcefully bringing back the Shirai Ryu vs Lin Kuei conflict that was solved in MKX almost decade ago. If you think this is a personal bias toward Kuai Liang then sure, why not 🙂

Mo Tuxuan is a character I haven't figured out as much on, but I have decided him literally being Mobei-jun reincarnated is funny so i'm rolling with it.
He was set up in a cold and distant home to be reborn in, professional, educated, powerful....kind of like being the royal family, but not quite. He was basically predestined to be the head of North Kingdom industries from the start and his entire life has been rearranged to that end. He's a little disappointed, his second life is almost the same as his first...but he's not technically royalty, and he's not a demon. Very little else has changed.
And then he's at a meeting with the CEO of another company and he encounters an account manager by the name of Shang Qingshui who seems off put by him but not....scared. Well, yes, scared, but not in the feeble sheep-like way most office workers are. He's carried his demon king aura and attitude with him, and it intimidates almost everyone he encounters. Qingshui immediately recognizes the aura and bristles bc there's NO WAY Mobei-jun is here, he CAN'T be this unlucky he'll just do his job and get out of the CEO's hair and maybe if he stonewalls the man he won't try to pull him back in.
Except Mo Tuxuan is so amazed there's a human who can stand up to him and casually disregard him he's actually kind of obsessed now. He needs to talk to that man more. He looks at Tuxuan like he's a WORM. No one else does that, no one else even dares to look at him like that. Everyone else looks up at him and cowers, Shang Qingshui looks up at him and narrows his eyes and digs in his heels.
Meanwhile on Qingshui's end, after his very first interaction with the man he sincerely hopes is not actually Mobei-jun because if he was that would be really fucked up right, he receives a message from the System announcing that he's just gained 1000 B Points! Quest line unlocked- North Kingdom Industries! What even, how did this happen. He was hoping being rude would make him not want to interact with him ever again. Instead, every time he does business with their company he insists that he be assisted by Shang Qingshui.
"Are you sure, sir? He's...just an accounts manager, not an assistant or anything." "Which accounts does he handle?" ".....payroll...." "I am interested in acquiring accounts from your company, I'll need to see how the payroll will function. I will require his help."
Shen Tianyu watching the whole thing playing out: "I think he's smitten with you something fierce. Remember how I looked back when Lianhua started coming around back in college?" "Or how Binghe looks at you...all the time?" "Yeah. That's how he looks at you." "....I am actively trying to bully him into leaving me alone." "I guess that's his kink." "Gross." "You're into it, though, I know you are."
Meanwhile Mo Tuxuan doesn't know why he can't stop thinking about the tiny human manager who reminds him a little of someone he knew in his previous life and who takes charge over him and is a wizard with paperwork and accounts payable and every part of him absolutely fills him with desire. The fact that they're both clearly aware how easily he could crush Qingshui and the fact that Qingshui still pushes back against him just makes Tuxuan's crush worse. He finds Shang Qingshui pathetic, not in a sad hamster way like Airplane, but in the epic boyfail way that he acts like he's hardcore and makes way too many unnecessary risks while trying to make himself seem unlikable and accidentally making himself into the cold-blooded rebel punk instead. It's even worse since Qingshui is educated and experienced enough by now that he should totally know better.
New Moshang after the identity reveal like "You killed me!" "And you killed me....." Shang Qingshui just sort of gives him a light backhand "don't say that in such a reverent tone like it's a marriage proposal, sir" But the blush increases bc that backtalk just makes Qingshui HOTTER.

Shang Qinghua had lost count of how many times he had gone to his cucumber bro for some help with the plot he forgot about himself. The man was truly a walking encyclopaedia. It was often not too bad, but then there were days like today, when he was feeling hot all over and his lower region was feeling really strange. He had somewhat guessed it would be a wife plot:
anything to make the wife fuck with Luo Binghe was a wife plot. But of course, now they were stuck with those because the novel story had totally changed.
"I was following my king on a hunt when I saw those nice flowers, So I got closer, wondering if I could remember what they were, I assumed it was safe since I didn’t remember a flower looking like that being poisonous, but then when I tried touching it, I pricked myself on a spike I didn’t see” sqh had been explaining, laying down on a cushion as sqq drank some tea. “I didn’t feel anything at the moment, but then yesterday I started feeling weird all over the place and didn’t want to worry my King about it since he already has so much work to do”.
Sqq wanted to sigh at some of the detail not being useful. “I cannot really help if I do not know what that flower looks like” he points out.
“The petal was similar to those of a lily, but there was easily more than a dozen of them, there were a dark blue with blue-white-ish dotes going up the middle of the petals.
The stamens were rather long and pale and the thingy on top was kinda shaped like a heart now that I thinks of it”.
“Did it have a lot of leaf at the bottom which hides most of the spikes?” sqq asked, only for sqh to nod. His fellow transmigrator sighed heavily, “You fell into a wife plot again, you created that flower for wife #539 who was unable to get pregnant and so she tried using that flower to be able to have a child” sqq mentioned.
“But I should be safe right?” sqh asked, not remembering that. 
“You wrote that it was so great that even man could get pregnant when under its effect, which by the way last easily for a week”.
And this is how he now was in his room (which had been a while since the last time, he kind of unofficially moved into Mobei-jun room), robes loose around him as he was trying to relieve himself from the heat.
What should he do now? He couldn't exactly hide from his King for /minimum/of a week. He didn't want to look like some of these demons that had done it on purpose in the past to try and lure mbj and somewhat trap him with a child (and he knew it could happen because he wrote a couple of plots like this!).
Plus he never heard anything that could tell him mbj was actually interested in having children. Sure he would most likely need an heir one day, but as of now mbj never showed any interest.
Sqh was truly unsure of what he should do now, other than try and relieve himself from the heat and arousal that came with his situation. Plus he could discover just how exactly this curse was affecting him as it did create physical changes he didn't notice before.
His king should be busy all day so he should be able to figure something out before he came back to their shared room to see he was not there.
But as he was thinking this he was surprised by the sound of a portal opening next to his bed, mbj stepping out. Sqh took a moment to react properly, pulling the blanket around him to hide his near-nudity and in just what kind of state he truly was.
“M-my King! What brings you here? I thought you would be busy all day” he called out, blushing even more than he already was before.

Sqh wasn't sure what to think of that. Had he added such a thing? For demons to be able to smell when another was ready to conceive? He then saw his pupils dilate, as if mbj had finally understood, looking a bit shocked, suddenly grabbing the blanket. He wasn't quick enough to pull it back, instead feeling himself being pulled closer to mbj.
He didn't really resist at the hands pulling his legs apart, the demon confirming for himself as sqh was hiding in his hand.

The Ring Theory
Kang’s multiversal engine core, which Janet blew up and then Scott blew up again after fixing it, was made of many circles rotating around a sphere.
Kang’s entire citadel was made of circular mechanisms. At one point Kang even yells, “don’t let him [Scott] interfere with the rings.” Rings that glowed both yellowish and bluish hues.
You know who else has rings that glow blue and yellow? Shang-Chi. They started glowing yellow when he took them from Wenwu (they also glowed that color when his mother used them). I think this symbolizes a different universe. Shang-Chi and his mother are from a place other than Earth.
Kamala Khan’s bangle also is a circle. And it does something with time, since it created a time loop tp save her grandmother. She can use it to pull energy from other dimensions but that doesn’t seem to be its intended function. It is something unique to her.
I think, because time is no longer a straight line, when Scott shoved Kang into the multiversal engine with Pym particles, it made the rings oddly sized. Like person’s wrist sized. Wenwu discovered the rings and used them as weapons he can control with his mind (Kang controls his ship with his mind). But when someone from another reality used them, it set off a beacon, probably to this Kang.
What the beacon probably doesn’t say is that there is yet another ring, Kamala’s bangle, that is necessary for the multiversal engine core to work. And the bangle seems to be transporting people—Kamala, Monica and Carol—places without Kamala meaning it to. Who is controlling them?
Where the Conqueror Kang is right now is a question. If the rings survived then surely he did too.
ETA: And, of course, we know Destin Daniel Cretton who directed Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is announced as the director of Avengers: Kang Dynasty so it's not a leap to assume Shang Chi is a crucial piece of it.
Although I am unclear if the Kang Dynasty movie is about the Council of Kangs attacking or Kang the Conqueror attacking. I feel like both are coming. "Kang Dynasty" sounds like the council. But what if the Conqueror arrives at the end at beats them? Like the Avengers have already done a lot of his work for him but beating other Kangs?
It's be neat if that Avengers movie were in SF, with the Ant-Fam and Shang Chi. The bus fight in Shang Chi was cool because you felt the stakes of it. I haven't felt like the Avengers have been rooted in a real place since the first Avengers. (Although I guess there was that field in Wakanda lol). But Marvel is supposed to be in real places unlike DC.

Characters: Kakkō, Lui Kang, Kuai Liang
Kakkō looked down at Shang Tsung, the Titan version of him, that is. They looked down at his bloody and battered body, and they could not help but think.
 “Is it over? Is it really over?”
 Lui Kang ran next to where Kakkō was standing.
 “And they called me the chosen one.”
 “Did you expect me to fail? I can end him right here and now.”
 “You have done more than enough. Please permit me to end this.”, Lui Kang said before turning the Titan to specs of sand.
 Kakkō believed it was over the moment Shang Tsung was gone, but then the ground begun to rumble, the rock of the pyramid cracking underneath their feet.
 “W-What’s happening??”, the panicked shapeshifter asked.
 “Without Shang Tsung and the hourglass to stabilise the timeline, it’s crumbling apart!”, Lui Kang announced, already working on making a portal with his magic for Kakkō, “You must return to our timeline, before it’s too late. Farewell, Kakkō. May we one day meet again.”
 Flames surrounded Kakkō, but they did not burn, and soon enough, all they could see was white.

 They awoke inside a futon, their bones aching as they sat up. Well, they had no bones, but Kakkō assumed that’s what it would feel like. The door of the small room creaked open, Kakkō spotting Kuai Liang’s sillouette. They turned to look at him.
 “Where are we?”, Kakkō asked.
 Kuai Liang lowered himself to sit on their level, giving them some fresh rice cake soup. The shapeshifter gobbled it up, happy to finally have food inside them. Kuai Liang patted their back.
 “You will need it.”, he said, “We will be leaving for Japan soon.”
 Kakkō got up, and so did Kuai Liang.
 “Why are we leaving?”, they asked.
 “Bi-Han has betrayed us, that you know.”, Kuai Liang responded, “But Earthrealm still needs its defenders. Tomas and I have been planning to leave, start anew.”
 “A new clan.”, Kakkō guessed, to which Kuai Liang nodded.
 He placed a hand on their shoulder, “You have proven yourself time and time again, that you are capable, compassionate, and resourceful. You, of all people, deserve a chance at a family again.”
 Kakkō’s eyes widened, releasing themselves from Kuai Liang’s hold and stepping back. They pinched themselves, attempting to make sure they were not dreaming. They were not, they were very much awake. Kakkō looked at the man in disbelief.
 “...Are you....pulling my leg..?”, they asked.
 “I am not, why would you think I am?”
 Kakkō almost laughed, “I-last time someone wanted to recruit me was your brother in the Lin Kuei. How do I know I’m not getting into something I’ll regret?”
 Kuai Liang sighed.
 “Kakkō. I know about what happened in the past.”
 The shapeshifter had their gaze fixed at him, silent fear in their eyes as he continued.
 “I know who you are, what you are. And I know that all of this, it was not your fault.”
 “....W-What..?”
 “You never deserved any of this, all this loss in the hands of my former clan. I know you are hurt, and I know that some things will never be forgiven. But I can understand you, I can understand your anger, your saddness-I have been there.”
 “No you haven’t.”, Kakkō bluntly stated, “I know damn well you never experienced what I have.”
 “Maybe not to such extent.”, Kuai Liang agreed, “But I know loss. I lost both my mother and unborn sister when I was still a child, and then my father just when I started entering adulthood. Many students of mine, ones I had cared about to a great extent, I lost to varying reasons. And I don’t want to loose you too, Kakkō.”
 Kakkō looked down and to the side, they did not know what to say. So, they looked back at Kuai Liang.
 “Why Japan?”, they asked.
 “Lui Kang had told me the original Scorpion had been from here. The true Scorpion, and not a stolen title from the Lin Kuei.”
 “So..he finally came clean.”
 Kakkō was not sure how to feel. Kuai Liang continued.
 “He, Lui Kang, told me that the man was still alive, ruling over the Netherrealm.”
 Kakkō’s head shot up to look at Kuai Liang.
 “He....is still here?”
 “Yes. You two knew each other, right?”
 “Are you trying to get me to recruit my old Master?”
 “I....I am not saying that.”
 “But you thought about it.”
 After a very long silence, Kakkō sighed, and walked closer to Kuai Liang, gently placing the empty bowl in his hands.
 “I...don’t know where this road will take me, Kuai Liang. And I’m....scared.”, they admitted, “But..I have seen that you and Tomas are good people. I want to believe you are.”
 Kuai Liang nodded, “Trust takes time, I can understand.”
 They quietly moved to the small kitchen to wash the plates. Kakkō leaned on Kuai Liang’s side, the man wrapping an arm around the smaller shapeshifter.
 Kakkō was wrong, this was not over. It was only beginning.

Hello, I share your indignation about the new part of MK. Everything was changed too much and strangely. Can you write down the moments you didn't like? For example, I’m not happy with this whole situation with Kuai Liang - Scorpion, Tarkata - a disease, Raiden - Liu Kang 2.0, Fujin - Raiden’s sister, who is Kung Lao’s lover, seriously?
I WILL STATE that i have not bothered to look at everything myself but hear from reliable sources of the basic information of the game so i cannot give a full and fair critique. And i will not give this game anymore attention than i already have given it since it is just NOT a mortal kombat game.
Lets talk about the reasons you listed bc i agree.
Kuai liang as scorpion and in role reversal:
I am not a fan of this even remotely being "canon" Although the idea should be explored by fans WHO UNDERSTAND BOTH KUAI LIANG AND HANZO HASASHI AS CHARACTERS ORIGINALLY. It completely disrespects hanzo as a character and erases his connection to scorpion being a "gimmick thing to slap onto someone" as a title rather than a personal journey of meaning. And kuai deserves more respect as well, originally being an assassin whose clan tried to "modernize" by removing free will of warriors to ensure obedience and make their spirits and talents disposable. Trying to fight against that. It seems ironic in the end his fate is nothing more than to be toyed with by this unoriginal and uninspiring "role swap au lolz"
The tarkatan race being a disease:
I shouldn't even have to clarify how fucked up this is. Right after in mk 11 we saw tarkatans just being another race living in outworld minding their own business, and kotal fucking up (kotal khan is a wasted character but thats for another post) so we got what was once a "bad guy evil race" to something better. AND THEN THEY FUCKED IT UP AGAIN like isnt that, at best, the most tone deaf shit after what happened in real life with a certain disease and people being uber racist??? And dont get me started on how they messed up mileena with that too. (God damn the writers fucking hate her just as much as kung lao)
Raiden role reversal:
Let me tell you as a raiden enjoyer i fucking HATE them making him a basic ass protag like they did with liu kang (i love liu but lately they just removed all personality from him) its so fucking uninspiring and boring as shit AND THEY MAKE HIM CHAMPION INSTEAD OF KUNG LAO???? THE ABSOLUTE DISRESPECT WHAT THE FUCK i love raiden but he doesn't deserve champion title, that belongs to KUNG motherfucking LAO.
Fujin being a sister????:
Listen i havent seen it but this is the dumbest ass shit i have ever seen in my entire life. As if they couldn't show how little they actually care about fujin......
And the shallow fans who care little about fujin other than a "pretty fuck toy to do teh yaois with uwu" which is also what they did to shang tsung now which is like YOU FOOLS! Thats it, thats all this story boils down to. A shoddy scam to bullshit a story to take people's money. I mean you cant even get shang tsung or marjory of fan desired characters without dlc and the base game is like 60-70 bucks like the fuck????
As a regular fighting game? Mid but enjoyable i guess. But as a mortal kombat game? No, thats not even mortal kombat thats just some dumbasses wattpad fanfic after they watched avengers endgame in their crusty batman shirt
I'll end this with a small side note: if my opinions offend, I'm sorry im passionate about a series that was a part of my childhood and made me appreciate Japanese and Chinese culture and kung fu cinema in general. Im sorry if the memories of playing a fun game and caring about the characters having strong bonds of friendship in a violent world designed to be a "kill or be killed" system and despite that choosing to do the right thing in their mind.

Liu kang,when mortal. Got more shit done. Abit it was very plot convenient for him to win. Hardly any real struggles after the first fucking arch of his journey. Aka the real mk1. The last time i saw any struggle was in the mk 1995 movie. And even then that was still Hollywood,convenient win.

Honest opinions hour:
Mk9 was actually fan service done well. Minus the shit with shang tsung and sindel,raiden bargaining with a fucking bald ass demon that is quan chi. And kung lao dying and being treated like shit. And liu kang being an arrogant asshole that never gets called out in the narrative outside of towers. But we all should FUCKING KNOW! that tower endings aren't canon! They are best case scenario in favor of the character YOU PICKED. that's the point of towers. (And the fact that nrs got rid of towers said to me they dont give a fuck about their fans. AT ALL. And people are too stupid to see just how fucked up and really bad that is for the game. That's how you know mk has been commercialized. Next they gonna get rid of the violence or blood too,watch as they fuck up so badly. And make it legitimately an official knockoff cheap sanitized version. Ugh gross. Watch as people legitimately dont care and when all the hype goes away....they are left with nothing and nobody. Y'all first clue should have been when they made kuai scorpion. But y'all be a special kinda dumb to not see why that is bad. But i digress.)
Anyways. Mk11 was mid. Not the best. Not the worst. But mid. But now? It's a masterpiece compared to the shitshow that is mk12,aka mk1 2023.
Raiden isn't fucking emotionless. He cares about mortals,and especially his mortals that fight under him and his brother fujin. Raiden is the most human out of all the gods. And yes,he's a god. Not a chump farmer,not a fucking "dEmiGoD" naw. A full blown,non gmo,grade A,can of whoop ass,bonafide,thunder god! Fight me on that! Also raiden has responsibilities but he's sassy and loving. Like your dad figure. He's dad shaped. He's understaffed,underpaid,underappreciated,mortals sometimes take his ass for granted(unfortunately). Again raiden is a sweetheart,no pushover,but not a complete dick. No more than anyone else could be.
Speaking of his brother fujin. Fujin is not some uwu,uke boy. He's not some dude that is helpless. He's ferocious,he's deadly. Mischievous,impish,and not someone you should take lightly. He's not the "nicer" of the storm gods. He's just much as a full can of whoops ass as his brother. If not more so. The only difference between fujin n raiden is raiden has years and eons of fucking restraint and mastery. Fujin dont(or he just dont bother to). Raiden is a guaranteed death if you push him. But he doesn't. You could survive fujin,barely,but evennif you do raiden aint far behind and you....aint surviving that man. But lucky for you these two dont automatically resort to violence. Unless you declare mortal kombat. Then im sorry honey your shit outta luck. May the elder gods have mercy on you,cuz they won't.
Reptile is a fucking lizard man. Not some twink in disguise. (Dude I've seen better human forms that that fr from fans eww nrs. Eww.) And his whole ass species was brought into near extinction,and endangerment by SHAO KAHN. NOT SHANG TSUNG YOU IDIOTS. SHAO KAHN. shao kahn has been fucking gotten rid of his importance in the story and it pisses me off. Shao kahn did a looooooot of work. And nrs erased it and gave it to my man?! Shang is a recurring headache at best and at worst he is only a threat to those who dare disrespect him,challenge him,and or prevent him from getting souls(which he needs to live. Not just for power you twats,no he legitimately needs them to live. He's cursed. And idgaraf what nrs said or says.)
Rain is an actual demigod. And is argus's illegitimate son. I hc the gods and elders gods didn't really gaf about mortals x gods mingling. Argus worried about his worshipers and mortals reactions. Because legitimately he cheated on his wife dalia. And taven n daegon were gonna suffer because of it. Rain's mother was heartbroken and told her son died in birth. And yeah rains whole backstory is fucked. But yeah that's what happened. Basically argus is a dick and isn't well liked among the mortals and gods. (Dont tell jade,i hc she was devote to argus but blinded to the truth. Untill she eventually found out. She was so hurt by this,poor jade)

Bi-han was just as a victim as kuai and hanzo. Quan chi is the fucker you should blame. Idgaf if you love hanzo. Dont blame bi-han for quan chi's manipulations. Bi-han suffered really bad. Mortal Kombat 11 x reader: Chapter 9 All in the family
The camera pans round to the boat's bow, where Jax walks up to Jacqui, who is looking out to the horizon "How's the view?" Jax asks "No sign yet of the mystical barrier you mentioned" Jacqui says "Oh, you'll know it when it comes" He places his hands on the side railing of the boat, also looking to the distance.
"How you feeling?" Jacqui ask while Jax looks at the water "For the first time in a while, in control. I got tossed into the deep end of this world of gods and monsters. But now, knowing my future, I feel like I've finally come up for air. Those bad things that happened to me... I mean, what will happen to me? Like Raiden said, it's gonna be different" Jax Replies. He looks to Jacqui "Isn't this gonna be good news?"
Jacqui looks almost crushed at his words "The things that happened to my dad. That trauma he suffered? It's why my parents met. They fell in love while he was in recovery" she says as she turns away and walks across the ship's bow "If they don't happen, you and Mom may not meet. I may never be born"
Jax walks up to her "Jacqui, I-I can't pretend I get all this cosmic time stuff..." He places his hand on her shoulder "...but I do know you are here for a reason. You're not just some random accident" he tries to reasure her.
She looks back at him, uncertainty still etched on her face "I hope so" she says
The camera pans away from them and back out to the ship's exterior. On the far horizon, an island surrounded by what appears to be a green mist is visible.
A cutback to Jax and Jacqui shows the boat approaching the mist. Derelict ships lay broken against the rocks they smashed upon, their sails rotted and almost gone. Gigantic stone statues of samurai warriors are submerged up to their necks in the waters of the sea.
The navy ship passes by all of this, with Jax and Jacqui looking overhead as the ship pass under a decaying entrance way. They both look ahead of them, taking in the sight of the iconic Mortal Kombat dragon symbol - depicted here as a weathered and crumbling gigantic metallic statue.
"Shang Tsung's island!" Jacqui exclaims "Here we go again" Jax says in reponse
The scene cuts to the entrance to the warrior's shrine. Jax and Jacqui walk in alone, taking in the decay before them. There is no roof to speak off, and the concrete pillars that held it up are broken and decaying. The statues of warriors past and present show varying signs of disrepair. There are no sounds or signs of life, save from the howls of the wind.
Jax and Jacqui pass through the shrine into a passage leading into the courtyard. While there is a roof here, it is worn and rotting, with only a colony of sleeping bats being the only living beings present.
As they approach the end of the passage, they pause to gaze upon the grisly sight of 5 corpses hanging from the rafters. The corpses are Shaolin monks, hanged by their necks. Their skin is horrifically decayed, but has not yet completely rotted away, leaving their eyes intact but a dull yellow-gray in colour.
Jax and Jacqui walk out into the courtyard itself. Like the rest of the island, it is barren and devoid of life.
"When I was here for the tournament, there were people everywhere" Jax said as he looks to a line of Shaolin monks, rotted away to skeletons wearing torn clothing "These guys looked a lot younger. Seems like only yesterday..." "then he has a wistful look over his face as he points to a the stairs they walked up "and right there was were (Name) made her entrance. she was just a kid all wide eyed and confused...she...she was just 18 when she showed up...." Jax smile slowly turns into a frown remembering how Jacqui told him (Name) would die in his time soon.
Jacqui pulls out a PDA on her hip and starts to examine it "Guess after Shang Tsung died, this place did, too" she said trying to change the subject
Her PDA, acting as some form of mobile radar, shows no signs of life on its scans "Nobody's home. So much for needing stealth. Should've brought the whole squad" she said "Kinda hoping Raiden's wrong about the Well of Souls. I don't wanna be here longer than we--" Jax is interrupted by a warning beep on Jacqui's PDA. She glances down at it "Multiple contacts!" Jacqui exclaims. Jax gets himself into a fighting stance "How many?" he asks
Jacqui checks the PDA. There are two square icons, one yellow, one red, that flicker constantly at varying points across the interface "Two! But one of 'em's circling us real fast!"
As she says this, a purple blur of light speeds around them both, knocking the PDA from Jacqui's hands. The blur continues to move around them in a circle, boxing them in. After a few moments, Jax hurls his arm out directly into the blur, catching it with
a clothesline and hurling it into the air. The figure - now clearly visible as the revenant Kabal - rights himself in mid-air and lands in a kneeling position, sliding to a halt.
As Kabal stands up, the revenant Jade walks in behind Jax and Jacqui "Kronika knew Raiden would send someone here" says Kabal.
"I'll take the speed freak" Jacqui says as she approaches Kabal "We buried you in the Netherrealm. You a glutton for punishment?" she mocks "It's only you and me, this time. There's no castle to bury me under" Kabal replies "Think that hurt? You have no idea" says Jacqui.
They fight. With a speed enhanced by magic and a troublesome weapon in the hookswords he wields, Kabal would be a frightening encounter against an ordinary human. But Jacqui has the best tech from the Special Forces at her disposal, which includes the exoskeleton that she wears as armour. Combined with her fighting ability, this proves more than enough to take down the revenant Black Dragon "I'm guessing that hurt worse"Jacquisaid and turns around at the sound of fighting. As she does, Jade strikes Jax with a sidekick that knocks him flying. He rolls once and forces himself onto one knee, sliding to a halt next to Jacqui. She helps him to his feet.
Jade approaches the two of them and slams her staff into the ground. She picks it up and twirls it over her head, roaring out as green energy cascades in a circle above her. She once again slams the staff into the ground, and the green energy pulses from it in shockwaves into the surrounding area "Rise in Shinnok's name!" she call out.
The energy reaches the hanging corpses from earlier, which suddenly revive and start freeing themselves from the ropes they are hanging from. One corpse's flesh is so rotted that it decapitates itself before it can free its neck, but this does not inhibit the rest of the body from standing up along with the others.
The Shaolin zombies, along with others from the surrounding area, approach Jax and Jacqui, growling at them with vocal cords long rotted away and surround them in a semi-circle. Jade also walks up to them "You'll not disturb Kronika's work" she says
"Disturb? Try 'ending'" said Jacqui "You're done messing with the Well of Souls!" Jax says "You're not as strong as you think, Jax. As I recall, Scorpion made quick work of you" Jade taunts.
"I'll take the lady in green" said Jax. As he says these words, a Shaolin zombie charges at Jacqui, striking her thrice in the face. She catches a fourth strike, lands two face punches of her own, then a gut strike and finishes with a leg kick that sweeps the zombie off its feet.
Another zombie charges in, but Jacqui punches it in the chest before it can land a blow. She elbows it in the throat and puts it in a reverse headlock, just as a third charges in. Jacqui raises her foot and kicks the third zombie so hard that her leg goes
straight through its chest, destroying its torso in a shower of blood.
As the zombie collapses, Jacqui knocks the zombie she's holding to the ground with a heart punch. Another Shaolin zombie tries to kick her, but she parries the blow and punches it across the face. She tries two more punches, but the zombie blocks these and counters with a palm strike to her solar plexus, following through with an uppercut that staggers her.
As the zombie tries to land another punch, Jacqui grabs its arm and punches it in the chest. She follows through by shooting the zombie with her arm-mounted gun, blowing a hole through its chest. Another zombie kicks at her, but Jacqui blocks the blow and perforates it with several point blank shots from her guns.
Another zombie strikes her across the face, but Jacqui blocks a series of punches from it and lands one of her own. She turns to find yet another zombie leaping down at her, but she grabs its outstretched hand and judo-throws it to the ground. She unleashes a barrage from her guns, utterly pulping the reanimated corpse.
While this takes place, Jax approaches Jade.
"Was a time when you knew who to fight for. But between Quan Chi and Kronika, your mind ain't right" Jax states "I joined Raiden against Shao Kahn. He led me to my doom. Now Raiden leads you there, too" Jade replies
They fight. For all of Jade's speed and skill, Jax has beaten her before, back when he didn't have cybernetic arms. Now with his new upgrades, the battle is tipped even further in his favour. It's not long before Jade is down and out by his feet "I'll take my chances with Raiden" he says walking away
With Jade and the reanimated Shaolin down, Jax and Jacqui regroup together "Enough dancing with the dead. Raiden said this Well of Souls would be underground" says Jacqui and Jax points off to one side "This way" he says
They walk over to a large set of doors leading out of the courtyard. Jax shoves them aside with little difficulty, thanks to his metal arms.
The scene cuts to an underground cave, lit up by torch lights. Jax and Jacqui walk through cautiously, checking around them for any more surprises. As they walk through the cave, Jax crushes a human skull underneath his foot, then stops for a moment at one of the torches, using it to light a cigar. Jacqui looks a bit nonplussed at his nonchalance, but decides not to comment on it.
"This is Goro's Lair?" Jacqui questioned "Thankfully minus Goro. Shang Tsung kept me locked up here, back at my first tournament. Never thought I'd be back..." Jax said remembering being beaten and brusied in this place and locked up like an animal. Jacqui places a hand on his shoulder "Remember where a Well of Souls might be?" she asks "Couldn't tell you. I was pretty beat up. It's all a bit hazy" Jax replies
They proceed through the cave, eventually coming out into a large underground throne room. Dead oni and skulls of long deceased monsters litter the ground, and they pass the corpse of a long dead Shokan seated on his throne. But as Jax and Jacqui do so, they come face to face with what appears to be a swirling tornado made up of soul energy, hovering over a large well.
"I'm guessing this is it" she says sarcastically. Jax takes a puff from his cigar, looking at an object that is in the center of the soulnado and says "That crown. Five bucks says it's Kronika's"
"It's drawing souls from the well" Jacqui is correct in her observation; the souls from the soulnado are all being dragged into the crown "There's no way that thing's unguarded. Let's grab-and-go before whoever's on duty gets back" Jax says
"I never left"
From behind a nearby pillar emerges the Netherrealm wraith known as Noob Saibot. He enters a fighting stance. Jax and Jacqui respond by aiming their weapons - a service pistol for Jax, and an arm-gun for Jacqui - and opening fire. Noob disappears
in a flash of magic and appears to the right of Jacqui in the form of a shadow. She and Jax fire again but the bullets go straight through the apparition, ricocheting off the cave walls.
Several more shadow forms of Noob Saibot appear around them, leaving the two surrounded on all sides. They stand back to back, waiting for the shadows to make a move. One suddenly roars and charges them, and they fire immediately. This time their bullets manage to dissipate the shadow into thin air and they immediately shoot two more shadows into nothingness.
Doing so, however, leaves them open for two more shadows to attack. Jax and Jacqui parry their strikes and throw them to the ground, dissipating them as well. Another two shadows attack, but Jax fells one with a flurry of body blows and a spinning back kick to the chest, while Jacqui fends off the other behind him.
Another shadow rushes Jax and lands a punch across his face, but Jax blocks its next blow, ducks a strike and lands a counter punch that rocks the shadow. He follows through with a jumping spinkick that turns it into vapour.
A shadow suddenly appears behind Jacqui and grabs her in a rear choke hold. Two more shadows appear, and while she elbows one in the face, the other grabs her arm and restrains her. As Jax tries to help, three more shadows appear around him and grapple him in the same way.
With both of them restrained, Noob steps out of the shadows to face them fully.
"Who are you?" Jacqui growls "A deathly shadow. In life, I was called Bi-Han" Noob says in a whispy tone "And I should know who that is?" Jacqui questions "The first Sub-Zero. Scorpion ripped out his spine. Left it in a heap upstairs, in Shang Tsung's old throne room" Jax explains
"An event the New Era will wipe from history" Noob says.
"Hang on, Jacqui. I got this" Jax said.
Jax struggles with the shadow clones for a moment, bringing the one on his left in front of him. He headbutts it so hard that it instantly dissipates into nothing. With his free hand, he punches the shadow on his left and then throws it to the ground, throwing the shadow grappling him from behind at the same time. He slams his metallic arms onto each of the shadows, destroying them.
Jacqui struggles to break free from the shadows gripping her,
but she is unable to do so. Knowing that Noob is the one
controlling them, Jax walks over to face him down.
"Ermac was weak. He took your arms but did not finish you" Noob hissed "Got that right. I'm just that tough" said Jax
They fight. Noob Saibot's powers over darkness and shadows would overpower any normal human, but Jax has faced down tougher odds before. With the help of his cybernetic arms, he manages to take the fight to the former Bi-Han, eventually leaving him down and out on the ground.
"Guess Ermac's not the only one who's weak" Jax taunted
As Saibot falls unconscious, the shadow clones that Jacqui continues to fight against all dissolve into thin air. Jax walks over to her.
"C'mon. Let's get that thing and get outta here" said Jax
Jax and Jacqui walk over to the Well of Souls. Jacqui nervously approaches the crown that hovers above its surface. She slowly brings her hands up, but just before she can grab the crown, an older male voice calls out across the cavern.
"Jacqui, wait"
The lone figure stays in the shadows of Goro's lair, but he brings a lit cigar to his lips, taking a long smoke before throwing it aside. He then steps into the light... revealing
himself to be Jax - the older Jax, and one who looks radically different from the one seen earlier in the story.
He no longer wears military gear or farming clothes. Instead he wears a shirt of blue and trousers of white, held by a belt of golden, elegant design. His cybernetic arms look radically different, and would almost pass for human were they not showing open machinery where the elbow and wrist joints connect. His face shows utter despair all over it.
The younger Jax stares at his older self, completely nonplussed, while Jacqui looks at him with mounting horror.
"Mind. Blown" said past Jax "Dad? How'd you get here?" Jacqui said as she walks over to him, Young Jax's confusion turns to anger, as he realises the answer to her question "I'll give you one guess" he points out "Dad, your--" she looks down at his new arms "--your arms! Those look like Kronika's design! What are you doing?" she asks shocked.
Jax brings his hands up, forming them into fists. He closes his eyes, trying his hardest not to break down, then opens them again, looking his daughter straight in the eye.
"Giving you the life you deserve" Jax says as he brings his fists to his side "By destroying the universe?" past Jax questioned him annoyed. Jax glances at his younger self for a moment "Restarting it, not destroying it" he said then he looks back at Jacqui "Being a revenant. The years I lost, the things I did. Your Ma held me together. But I was never the father you needed" he said trying to convince her "You're talking nonsense, man! You raised a fine daughter. She's one helluva soldier" past Jax said praising Jacqui "She shouldn't have been a soldier! I never wanted you out there, taking those risks" Jax said. He places his hands on his daughter's shoulders "If I hadn't fallen apart, you wouldn't have felt the need to enlist" he said
Looking heartbroken at his words, Jacqui pushes her father's arms away and steps backward "That's not why I do this, Dad!" she shouts. Jax holds out his hand "Please! Give that crown to me. I don't want to hurt anybody" he pleaded "This is seriously messed up..." Jaqui whispered. Before she can even contemplate doing anything, past Jax places a hand on her shoulder.
"Hang back, kid. I know I wouldn't want to fight my Dad" pas Jax said as he gently pushes her back and walks over to confront his older self "How bout we keep this between me, myself and I? Never thought I'd stoop so low"
"You don't know how bad it gets! Losing your arms was just the beginning! we lost...we lose (Name) all because we couldnt protect her! she was only a kid! the world shouldnt have been on her shoulders!" Jax shouts with dispare in his voice "She did it beccause she cared about us! we were her family! she was like a daughter to us! I know you suffered. You still do. But you don't betray your unit, and you SURE as hell don't betray your family!" past Jax shouts
They fight. With his strength and skill enhanced with Kronika's magi-tech, one might assume the elder Jax would have the upper hand against his younger and more inexperienced self. But for all of his strength, Jax's heart is not in the battle, allowing his younger self to take advantage of his hesitance and despair. After a fierce exchange, past Jax manages to knock out his older counterpart.
"There's gotta be a way to make this right" past Jax said.
With the battle over, Jacqui runs over to her dad and checks his pulse "He's out, but he'll recover" she said then she looks back to past Jax "How're you?" she asked "Trippin'. You?" he replied "Ditto" She looks down at her father, then back at past Jax "We can't leave him. Let's get him and the crown out of here.
The scene cuts to the Kourtyard. Jacqui and past Jax hold Jax between them, supporting him as he struggles to walk. He doesn't even attempt to fight them, his will to do so being completely
sapped.
"If I never come back here, it'll be too soon" past Jax commented "I heard that"Jacqui replied. past Jax looked down "your dad was right about one thing" Jacqui looked to him "what?" she asked then past Jax looked at her with sad eyes "(Name) was just a kid. she shouldnt of had to have had the world on her shoulders..."
A rumbling sound and a glow of light from the heavens catches their attention. Jacqui and Jax cover their eyes as the light continues to brighten - and in that light is the outline of the Elder God Cetrion. "Mortals!" she says as she glides down from the sky, hands held aloft in almost a welcoming gesture.
"Surrender Kronika's crown and the elder Jackson Briggs. No harm will come to you" she commands "No deal" Jacqui calls out as she and past Jax set down Old Jax as gently as possible "We know you betrayed the Elder Gods, Cetrion" she says. Cetrion finishes her descent, hovering a few feet from the ground before them "Kronika must restore the balance that Raiden destroyed. Can you not see he is the devil in these matters?"
"At least he's the devil we know" past Jax says. Jaqcui looks to him "Can we take an Elder God?" "Cassie beat Shinnok" past Jax replies "Only because the Cages are born with crazy magic powers" "Maybe we have our own magic" he says as he glances down at Kronika's crown, sitting on a sidebelt on Jacqui's hip.
"Stand down, please. Resistance only ensures your suffering" Cetrion demands.
Jacqui takes the crown in her hands "I can't let you d--" "I'm not discussing it" Jacqui says cutting off past Jax.
She puts it on her head before Jax can stop her. She closes her eyes in concentration as the power of untold amounts of souls focuses itself on her being. However, it only takes a moment for her to open her eyes again. She walks toward Cetrion.
"Your mind is too frail to wield Kronika's weapon. For your own safety, remove it!" says Cetrion. Jacqui visibly strains to walk forward, proving at least some truth in Cetrion's words. Nonetheless, she refuses to back down.
"It's not time for safety. It's time for action"
They fight. Although powered up by the magic of Kronika's crown, Jacqui ends up facing her most difficult opponent yet. Cetrion's powers are infinite and immense, but the word "quit" is not in Jacqui's vocabulary. She takes the fight to the Elder God and
manages to just barely knock her to the ground.
"Eat your heart out, Cassie Cage"
She tries to remove the crown, but struggles in doing so. past Jax runs over and grabs the crown in both hands. Together, they yank it off Jacqui's head. Cetrion brings herself up one knee, glaring menacingly at Jax and Jacqui.
"You were warned! Mere mortals cannot control the crown. I did not wish to harm you. But now you have forced my hand" Cetrion shouts
She raises her hand into the air. It glows for a moment as a blue mist surrounds it, then she slams it down on the ground. Instantly, the stone tiles beneath Jax and Jacqui begin to crack and tear, suffering the full effects of an earthquake. They both struggle to remain upright as the ground around them starts to shift apart.
Jacqui falls over and then a chasm opens underneath her. She falls before Jax can catch her, but she grabs onto a ledge in the ground, narrowly avoiding dropping further to her doom. She is too far away for Jax to pull her back up though, and
her grip starts to falter.
The elder Jax brings himself back to his feet as the younger Jax looks down the chasm, panic wrought on his face. Cetrion looks on dispassionately. Old Jax looks at Cetrion with uncertainty for a moment, but does not try to stop her. Young Jax turns back to Cetrion.
"The hell're you doing?!" past Jax yelled "Give me the crown and I will spare her" Cetrion demanded "Don't! Don't give it to her! GO!!" Jacqui shouted "Her life is in your hands" Cetrion stated.
Behind her, Old Jax begins to panic as much as his younger self is, though he still refuses to act against Cetrion. He instead addresses his younger self "Nobody here wants to hurt anyone. Now, please" He motions to the chasm that Jacqui is trapped in "Don't let this happen to our girl"
Young Jax looks down at the crown in his hands... and then down to Jacqui, who loses her grip with her right hand and is left clinging to the crevice with only her other hand "Dammit!" He curses as he throws the crown to his elder self, who catches it one handed. Old Jax turns to Cetrion "Now bring Jacqui back!" he shouts
Cetrion raises her hand again, blue mist again enveloping it. The ground is instantly restored to its previous level, bringing Jacqui back with it. She remains on her knees for a moment, catching her breath. Old Jax, nearly in tears at this point, looks to his daughter, who in turn looks utterly betrayed by his actions "Dad! How could you do this to me?!" she shouted "I'm not doing this TO you, Jacqui. I'm doing it FOR you!" he replied frustrated. He looks down, unable to even look his daughter in the eye
anymore "I love you"
He walks over to Cetrion, eyes closed in despair. Even the Elder Goddess looks somewhat saddened at the scene "Kronika awaits our return" she says as she raises her hand and a sand tornado envelopes her and the elder Jax. They teleport away in a swirl that dissipates in an instant. Jacqui remains on her knees, eyes closed in despair, but the younger Jax rushes over to her "C'mon. This fight isn't over" Jax said. Jacqui stands back up, and they both walk back toward the waiting ship.
The scene cuts to Kronika's Keep. The crown - now floating just above Cetrion's outstretched hands - is offered to Kronika. The keeper of time walks over to her daughter, while the elder Jax and revenants Kitana and Liu Kang look on "This will bring us our deliverance" says Kronika.
Kronika takes the crown in her hands, turning to look not toward Cetrion but Jax instead "Thank you... both of you" she says. While Cetrion smiles warmly, Jax seems conflicted at her words "I sense apprehension, Jackson Briggs" Kronika states
He looks behind him, toward the revenants "I'm not usually surrounded by so many friendly faces" he replies a little uneasy "We are unlikely allies, united for a common cause. Worry not" Kronika says her tone of voice changes in an instant, as she addresses the revenants, who walk over to her "Liu Kang, Kitana. Are the armies assembled?" she asks "They're en route. Kitana and I will see that they arrive as planned" Liu kang replies "Excellent"
"What about (Name)" Jax's voice cuts through bringing the attention of everyone to him "(Name)?" Kronika questions Cetrion floats forward "(Name), mother, she was the woman who the other elder god summoned years ago who died and then returned but was never sent back home and has resided in this universe longer than intended" she explained. Kronika thinks for a moment then remembers the woman from the dragon grotto "ah yes, (Name), once time is reset i will make it so that she never needed to enter our universe" Jax looks hurt slightly while Liu Kang clenches his fist and jaw as does Kung Lao "...she'll live a normal life? never fighting like she had to when she was 18?" he asked "I promise she will never hae to set foot in this universe ever again" Kronika replies. although the idea of living in a world where he never met the woman he saw as his daughter he believes that if she never left her universe she wouldnt have to go through so much pain. that she'd live a better life in her world.
Kronika places the crown on her head. The souls swirling around it all light up with an intense glow, but Kronika is not inhibited by the power she wields in the slightest. She remains serene as her sand powers gather around her "So many souls! So much time!" she says. She levitates into the air and looks to the heavens "As my strength gathers, the New Era draws ever closer!"
The scene cuts to the Shirai Ryu Fire Garden. Raiden and Cassie walk across a bridge toward the central area, deep in conversation "The report from Jacqueline Briggs...her father's actions have compromised our situation gravely." Raiden states "I know. I can't--" Cassie tries to say but she sighs, looking dejected "I can't believe he did this"
"Even if we locate her Keep, Kronika's power now likely exceeds the might of our combined forces" says Raiden. Cassie stops walking, unnoticed for a moment by Raiden "Maybe we should rethink using Shinnok's amulet" she says. These words stop Raiden in his tracks. He turns back to face her "We cannot, Cassandra Cage" Raiden states sternly "I've seen what you can do with it. You held off the entire Netherrealm army. You weren't even at full strength" Cassie says hoping to convince Raiden. Raiden places his hands on the edge of the bridge, deep in contemplation.
"I dare not risk the temptations of its dark power. Even now it calls to me..." Raiden says. Cassie walks over to him, but says nothing. Raiden closes his eyes for a moment, lost in thought... and when he reopens them, they flash red instead of their normal blue. It only lasts a split-second, and his eyes return to glowing electric-blue
as he gathers himself "Despite Kronika's advantages, we must attack as soon as we know the Keep's location" he states "It's been hours since we heard from the Grandmasters and (Name). What's the plan if they don't come back?" Cassie asks worried "They must, or else hope is lost" Raiden replies.
The scene cuts to a plane of the Netherrealm. In this part of Hell, a sea of blood crashes upon a rocky shoreline, amidst the carcass of a long dead sea creature. The camera pans across to show rocky outcroppings of land, along with what appear to be bulbous pores growing from the rocks themselves.

Liu Kang always intended for Shao to be a loyal servant of Sindel. What if Shao being a weak, sickly child was a means to an end, in the sense that Liu Kang wanted his strength to be intellectual, not physical? What if Shao's father accepted that Shao would always be sickly, and thus never trained him? Would Shao have been an advisor or scholar for Sindel instead of a general, like how he was to Onaga in the Midway timeline? How would that have gone?
Oh, that is a great question! And would also make a lot of sense, shame Shao’s dad couldn’t accept things as they were I guess.
I feel it would depend a lot on the pressure put on him by father (or parents) and how much Shao would want to uphold the military tradition of his family. I imagine he would still study military tactics but I’m not sure if Edenians would accept a man without battle experience and no great deeds under his belt to advise during war or armed conflicts. Kitana, a daughter of Sindel and sister of Empress needed to prove herself in the eyes of soldiers, even if she was Champion of Outworld participating in Tournament before.
I feel, Shao could study magic instead, as in previous timelines it was him who taught Skarlet the blood magic and presumably Shang Tsung, as Shao Kahn did use soul magic himself. That profession could compensate for deficiencies in health, provide him with a good position at court and ensure his safety in case  of attack. So, I think this is the career path the most benefecting him and his family. However, again, his bad health could not allow him to seek such knowledge. 
Scholar or advisor seems the most available option, but dunno what he would want to study and how the court would accept his bad health, as so far everyone in power at Sindel's court proved themselves in melee fight - something Shao couldn’t do. At the same time, it would be pretty hilarious if he studied something totally no-Shao-like or ended up as nanny to kid Mileena and Kitana XDD. 
But really, I have no idea what Liu Kang was thinking, or does he bullshit his way now and claim everything that happened up to Damashi showing up was part of the great plan and not some random accident.

The spooky carnival that had popped up last week was in full gear when you, Katy and Shang-Chi had arrived. The theme for the carnival was frights and scares and the crew did a fabulous job with making everything seem eerie. The lights were dimmed and held an ethereal glow about them in different shades of colors, there was purple, gray and neon green and with the fog machine that they had running throughout the carnival it made the colors glow in the fog. It was all nicely done and you felt yourself falling further and further into the immersive atmosphere. A little bit too much falling into the immersive atmosphere you thought.
The three of you were walking into the carnival as all the dressed up actors milled about trying to scare the carnival goers. You walked in between Katy and Shang-Chi as your head turned from side to side so that you could take in everything around you. One of the actors who was dressed up as a devilish looking scarecrow advanced towards Katy with their arms raised and screaming loudly, causing Katy to jump back into you. Your body gently fell back a step as your hands came up to cradle Katy’s body close to yours as you felt your back gently rest against Shang-Chi’s side as his own hands came up to steady you. Once Katy was righted she began to jeer back at the actor causing you and Shang-Chi to chuckle and shake your heads.
“Yeah! I’d like to see you do that again pal!” Katy called out as the actor moved on from the three of you. You’re still shaking your head when you spot one of the actors standing across the main entryway of the carnival from you, they’re wearing a beige long robe that had a rope belt and a large hood obscuring their face from your view. You shivered as a feeling of unease slid down your back as your eyes stayed trained on the actor who didn’t move or make any noise.
“You okay?” Shang-Chi asked concerned and you darted your head up to stare at him.
“Yeah, yeah. I’m okay, do you see that person in the robe?” you ask as you turn back to look at the actor, but when you look back you see that they’re gone. “Oh, I guess they moved.” you said unsure of yourself and Shang-Chi smiled softly down at you. “They were really creepy, completely covered in a beige robe with a hood and not moving at all or making any noise.” you explained and Shang-Chi nodded his head along with your words.
“We’ll keep an eye out for them.” he reassured you and you nodded slightly, feeling uncertain because the actor had disappeared. You began walking along with Katy and Shang-Chi again when you felt something grab onto your hand and you looked down to see Shang-Chi had taken your hand in his, smiling softly you squeezed his hand gently and he squeezed yours back.
The three of you began to continue through the carnival entering some of the themed haunted houses that they had built for the carnival. You had gone through a serial killer themed one where the story was that you were on the run from the serial killer and they had chased you through their childhood home that was filled with booby traps. Katy had been the only one in your group that had “survived” which made both you and Shang-Chi chuckle at her victory dance at the end. As the three of you began leaving the house you spotted Shang-Chi not walking with you and Katy as he was still standing back by the haunted house staring off to the side. You walked back over to him and gently touched his elbow as you gazed in the same direction he was gazing, you didn’t see anything but wondered if he had seen something like you had before.
“What do you see?” you ask him gently and he jolts surprised as his head whips down to stare at you and then back over to where he had been looking.
“I thought I saw that robed guy you saw earlier.” he began to explain and you nodded your head at his words as you watched him frown and then furrowed his eyebrows. “But now he’s gone.” he says softly and you nod your head again as your eyes dart around the area trying to find the robed actor again. You shiver slightly and move closer to Shang-Chi as chill races down your spine and he easily wraps an arm around your shoulder. “Don’t worry I’ll make sure you’re alright.” he promises softly and you nod at him gratefully.
The second themed haunted house you guys went through had a story about creepy dolls, that one really made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Fear consumed you as you walked through the house and stuck close to Shang-Chi and Katy’s sides as you made your way through not wanting to be too spooked or scared. Shang-Chi was the most unbothered of your group to go through this house and he was dubbed the winner of the house. But as the three of you were walking out Katy had stopped short right in front of the exit and you had collided with her back as Shang-Chi managed to stop short before colliding with you.
“Woah! Who’s that dude!” Katy called out as she lifted her arm and pointed to someone across from where you all were standing. All three of you stared across the area to the otherside of the exit to see what Katy was looking at.
“What is it Katy?” you asked her softly knowing that she was seeing the robed actor that both you and Shang-Chi had seen earlier.
“Some dude in a tan robe.” she said, sounding slightly in awe as the volume of her voice lowered towards the end of her explanation. “He’s standing right over there. Don’t you see him?” she explained bewildered as both you and Shang-Chi looked where she was pointing. Your eyes darted over to Shang-Chi’s and saw his soft subtle headshake before you responded to Katy.
“We can’t see him now. But we’ve seen him at different times tonight.” you told her softly and ominously causing her to turn and look at the both of you. Her face gave off a confused bewildered look and both Shang-Chi and you nodded in answer to her look.
“Yeah we’ve been seeing him at odd times and he never moves or says anything.” Shang-Chi said to back you up. “And he disappears when we take our eyes off him.”
“What?!” Katy cried shocked as she whipped her head back to look at the robed actor but wasn’t able to find him. “Where’d he go?!” she cried out surprised.
“Told you that he’d disappear.” Shang-Chi said as he shook his head. Katy kept looking around the carnival as you all made your way to the last haunted house, you knew she was looking for the robed actor and trying to see if she could spot him. But it was no use, he was nowhere to be found.
The three of you came up to the last house that you planned on going through and all looked slightly uneasy as you saw it. It was a rundown looking house with busted out windows and siding that was falling off the house. It really made you feel as if you were standing in front of an abandoned house. Your eyes darted over to the sign that normally stood in front of the haunted house advertising what the backstory was for the house but there was none posted. You frowned softly and watched as a group of five people walked up to the house eagerly and then shrieked as they entered the house.
“Are we really going to do this?” Katy asked and sounded very uncertain about it. Shang-Chi shrugged his shoulders and you tilted your head to the side. “Well let’s get this over with.” she said resignedly before walking up to the house. Just as the three of you reached the front door something moved in the bushes next to the door and you turned your head to see the robed figure standing there. Shocked, you halted your footsteps but Katy and Shang-Chi continued on. 
“Wait, guys!” you called out as you realized that they had walked in without you. You quickly followed them into the house but stopped short when you walked into a small front room with three different doors leading out of the room and neither Katy nor Shang-Chi were in the room. “Shang-Chi!? Katy?!” you called out hoping to hear from them but there was nothing but silence in response. Moving to the left you opened that door to find a brick wall behind the door, after moving to the middle door you found that one was also bricked up before you moved to the right side door and opened it to find a long dark hallway on the other side. “Guys?!” you called out unsure before stepping through the door.
The hallway was pitch black and you wound your arms around yourself to try and comfort you as fear filled your body. Suddenly there was a loud shriek from somewhere in the house and you jumped in surprise, your hand brushed against the wall and you frowned softly as you felt how soft the wall was. It almost felt like cloth lined the wall. Lifting your head slowly dread filled your body before you came face to face with the hooded figure. Skeletal like hands came up to the edges of the hood and slowly began to pull it back and your mouth dropped open in a scream as a red eyed skeletal face peered back at you. He lunged for you and instantly everything went black.
