I am in love with the idea of post-canon jmart just catching up with the stuff they missed from having a shitty childhood/spending their twenties stuck in a shitty job.

#this idea would make for a good standalone series in itself ngl #just a pair of traumatized 30-year olds taking up hobbies #like crocheting #and making diy slime #they start a youtube channel on a whim but they forget about it after a week #Martin learns to cook and Jon gets super into bird watching #Martin starts a rock collection and Jon learns how to knit #Jon discovers that he loves hiking and picks up sticks and rocks along the way #Martin discovers he can't stand the outdoors but likes watching Alaskan deep snow camping videos #they both go to the gym only to realize they both hate it

god it makes my DAY whenever i see a video or a reel about miraculous and it's made by someone that actually likes the show and the characters. like, it's an INSTANT happiness boost i wish i was kidding

so for like, a decade plus, i've been searching for a youtube video i remember seeing back in 2007, and i've finally managed to make some headway:

good news: i've found it

bad news: it's lost media

#it's been bugging me for so long honestly #ive talked about it in my tags before but its basically the video that introduced me to roblox #it's probably a bit silly to have been searching for this video. but part of the reason ive been looking is to see how good my memory is #specifically memories from when i was 9 years old. and how those memories have aged given im 26 now #like id say my memory is pretty good. specifically remembering specific details from memories long ago #like that isn't to say they're perfect. like i'll get some details wrong. but i know the general idea of what i saw #but basically #it's basically some old roblox bloopers video that had their character in a baseball cap and lugia t-shirt #now for a few years i wasn't sure i was correct on this person wearing a lugia t-shirt #and so at some point i figured i had to give up looking for that specific detail #since literally no video i could find had these two details combined. id find characters with baseball caps but never with a lugia t-shirt #and by that point i was afraid i wouldn't be able to find this video. or worse. my memory was wrong and it was something i watched in 2008 #but i knew it had to be uploaded before december 12th. 2007. because thats when i made my account #and the way i found it was going through 11 pages of a youtube search for ''lego videos''#i was specifically looking for new lego videos to watch. or find something that seemed more interesting than lego mario stop motion #and there was one video that stood out. which was some random roblox bloopers video. mixed in with a bunch of random lego videos #anyway. just today i was scrolling through twitters ''for you'' tab and happened upon a thread showing off lost roblox youtube thumbnails #and i was like ''well. can't hurt to see if theres anything in here that i recognize.''#and lo and behold. a roblox dude in a blue baseball cap and a lugia t-shirt. labeled as ''ROBLOX Bloopers!''#i could feel the anvil of my doubt free itself from my brain because i finally had proof of a video that lines up with my memory #thats not to say this is the exact video but 99% certain it's uploaded by the same person. like it could be roblox bloopers part 2 #but anyway. the channel and the video(s) are lost and while im sad i can't watch it to confirm my memory #im happy to see that there's evidence that lines up with my memory of what i saw back then #for reference. it was uploaded by someone named 'Furzniak' at the time. and it was uploaded on July 21st. 2007

#welcome to another installment of: angel spits out all his thoughts about autism cause if he keeps them inside his head will explode #in today's episode: is it possible that my ''panic attacks'' have been autistic meltdowns all this time?#then answer is maybe!#ok so i was watching this youtube video from channel I'm autisticn now what? (check it out it's great!)#and meg was talking about the different types of autistic meltdowns and how they might manifest #and then in the comments people were discussing autistic meltdowns vs panic attacks and how cofused they used to be about them #and that got me thinking... there's a big thing that needs to happen during a panic attack for it to be a panic attack #and that is anxious thoughts... many people talk about fear of death during panic attacks #and that was never my experience. I don't feel like I'm going to die when I have these ''attacks''#they feel painful and like i'm completely out of control but my head is quite clear in that regard #i always thought it was because i don't think dying is like The Worst thing that could happen to me so maybe that was why #and it never ocurred to me that it could be an autistic meltdown because i always saw those as ''little boy hits his head against the wall'#(horrible i know) but it's more than that! (plus i sadly started self harming when the ''attack'' is too bad so not i fit that idea lol)#it's the uncontrollable crying. the throwing anything you have at hand across the room. the not being able to utter words #(other than ''no'' in my case) it's the complete lack of control #and that fits so much more to what i experience! i even related to meg's personal anecdote about a meltdown she had as a child #being separated from my mom made me go into full panic modes as a kid and that was seen as a tantrum but it was more than that to me!#and as an added bonus the only therapist i've ever seen in my life used to call my panic attacks ''pseudo-panic attacks''#because even she felt it didn't quite fit in the description (not that she was a good therapist so i can't put her as an example lol)#but anyways... yeah every day that goes by i'm more and more convinced I am autistic and it scares me to fucking death #because of the way my mom reacted when i first raised the question. so yeah this is for nothing lol nothing will change in my life #¯\_(ツ)_/¯#angel talks #personal

Listening to Nick Crowley is weird because I always get invested by the storytelling, but I always get so worried about the stories told, that I tend to just look up how the story ends. It's basically hearing the tension in the first minute or two and just going, "Alright, how bad is this one just so I don't have a heart attack."

And in all honesty, I'm so much more shocked on the occasion that they have a happy ending.

#nick crowley #i guess the same kinda applies to savox but not nearly as much simply because his style is far more straightforward #i'm just starting off with the “darkest channels 6” video and already took a small look into the first story and yeah it's not good #like i mean it it's one of the most horrible things i've heard in a while on youtube #rest in peace chyenne you deserved so much better #and i already got at least some idea of the third story through the comments #these videos are so well-made but i'm amazed that they haven't given me a lifetime's worth of nightmares at this point

#this one guy spun this insane yarn about how he used to be a crazy good poker player #like professional poker winning hundreds of thousands of dollars #and he teaches golf lessons mostly but does uber cuz he likes talking to people #This is the extreme abbreviated version.
