This Is Where Bradley Cooper’s 'American Hustle' Character Would Drink

A couple months back, my friend and I were looking for a spot for drinks after seeing “American Hustle” in the East Village. Inspired by Amy Adam’s dresses and Bradley Cooper’s hair, we decided to keep the 70s alive and headed to Golden Cadillac. The new bar and restaurant is inspired by disco-era New York, serving campy cocktails like Tequila Sunrises and Long Island Iced Teas. I decided to lean more classic with a negroni but my friend ordered a piña colada, which came adorned with a mini umbrella. Seated in swivel-backed chairs amid wood paneling and orange-brown finishes, we could’ve been anywhere from the Lenox Lounge to Odessa Café. I loved the retro vibe and will definitely be going back for brunch, when the spot serves dishes like eggs Benedict with smoked duck and Sriracha-Aleppo chili hollandaise. Golden Cadillac also offers happy hour, dinner and late-night menus, making it the perfect place for when disco fever strikes. 

Try the Golden Benedict during brunch for two or four.
