The Party
A little while back someone posted about a fantasy of being passed around a stethoscope party, with different people listening to their heart. I don’t remember who did so if it was you, I hope you like this. It sparked creativity,
I could continue if anyone wants another part. But I wanted to do the basic idea.
The Party
I’d just signed with a modeling agency. It wasn’t the most exclusive, sometimes the jobs weren’t exactly what I hoped but college was expensive, so I took what I could. How bad could it be? It’s not like I planned to run for office or something.
My agent called me after classes one afternoon asking if I’d be interested in a gig that was more unconventional. After a few basic questions for my safety, nothing seemed too offensive even if it was secretive, and a rep from the agency would be there in case of trouble, I decided to take it.
Friday night I arrived at a big mansion just outside the city. From the looks of it this was old money, probably descendants of oil barons and railway tycoons. Which meant the paycheck would be huge. They’d promised a large payout for anyone who stayed til midnight.
I was let into a large foyer and usher back to a small hallway to a butlers parlor. A woman checked my ID, checked my name off a list and then looked me over.
“You will be required to wear one of two outfits tonight,” She instructed, pulling two hangers off a rack of clothes. “Black is standard, you are willing to do anything that would be clothes on. Call it PG-13.”
She held up a black Herve Luger bandage dress for emphasis. Then in her other hand, she held up a red one nearly identical to the former.
“Red,” She continued. “You are open to sexual behavior, and by wearing red you are giving consent to sexual advance,”
Well, I was single and I was never a prude, so I took the red. Might as well have a bit of fun. Once I accepted my color choice, she handed me an iPad with a waiver basically stating that I would take proper precautions, assert myself and under no circumstances attempt to contact anyone I met here after the event. I would ask for aid if I felt unsafe and leave without a scene. If I did not make it to midnight, I’d be compensated $200 per hour worked.
I shrugged and signed. She then held back a curtain for me to change in a small closet. I slipped inside, squeezed into the dress and as I was ushered to a door she fit me with a bracelet.
“If you need out, press the red button. Security will extract you.” She informed. “Are you ready?”
I blinked. Extracted? My heart started to pound, suddenly feeling crushed by the tight dress. What did I get myself into. But… the money was clouding my judgement. So I nodded, and the door opened. Once I cleared the threshold, it closed behind me.
Just walk around. Be eye candy. That was my only instruction. So that is what I did.
The room was a parlor, antique and dimly lit. It was full of golds and deep rich red textiles, dark wood and gold finishes. Old leather bound editions of classic literature adorned the bookshelves. I felt like I’d gone back in time. Or I was in a vampire’s house. My heart thudded at the thought.
The room was also full of people, in fine clothes, expensive tuxes and dresses. All of them wore masks like a masquerade. As I started to work through the crowd they watched me, with hungry eyes. Maybe I was in a vampire’s den. I was about to be dinner. There were a few other girls dressed in the red or black, varying heights and hair colors and skin tones.
I swallowed and tried to will my poor heart to stop trying to escape my chest. Until finally, a man approached me.
“Well, aren’t you lovely,” He said, holding out his hand.
I took his hand, and he brought it to his lips. He then moved his fingers down my wrist, stopping to feel my pulse. He offered him a soft smile. Then, he nodded before he motioned a waiter over.
The waiter came with a silver cloche, removing the dome top and extending the tray to the man. But there wasn’t food. It was a line of various stethoscopes. His fingers danced along them as he made his selection, a red tube that matched my dress.
He waved the man off, then examined it before placing the buds in his ears.
“Now, deep breath for me. Like a doctor’s office.” He said as he placed the diaphragm on my chest,
I was surprised, but I did as he asked, breathing in deeply and feeling my heart kick in my chest. Ba-dump, ba-dump, ba-dump, ba-dump.
He must have enjoyed the sound of my heart because he moved the diaphragm around my chest, smiling to himself and eventually he stopped. He listened for a long time, and even behind a mask I could see his eyes were closed.
I blushed. Ba-dump, ba-dump, ba-dump, ba-dump
Finally, he opened his eyes and moved the diaphragm away. He took the ear pieces out and looked around. Then he must have seen who he needed, because he waved to someone.
“You have a perfect heart, my dear.” He said.
“Uh, thanks…” I replied.
Another man approached, he also had a stethoscope. He looked to the first man oblivious to me and waited for why he’d been called over.
“I think she’s the one. Take a listen.”
The new man finally looked at me. I smiled at him but he simply leaned in with his own stethoscope and listened to my heart. I took a deep breath like I had before.
Ba-dump, ba-dump, ba-dump, ba-dump
“I think you’re right,” He replied. “Take her in, I’ll grab the others.”
The others? I blinked in surprise. Is this all it was? A bunch of cosplayers listening to my heart for a few hours? That didn’t seem so bad. Even if they wanted to listen to it during sex or something. That was actually, kinda hot.
“Come with me,” The first man said.
I nodded as he took my hand again. This time he lead me down another hallway to a different room. He opened the door and brought me in, then closed it behind me. It was more of a sitting room with a beautiful chaise in the center, raised up on a platform.
I recognized some medical equipment from various movies or doctors visits. Nothing seemed too concerning.
“Now, lay down on the chaise,” He instructed. “You may stay clothed for now. But do remove your shoes as to not damage the upholstery.”
I did as he asked. Once I was settled, he returned to my side. He brought the steth out again and gently placed it on my chest. He let out a content sigh as he listened to my heart pound.
As he listened, others started to fill the room. They lined up behind him. I had never expected anything like this. Just lay here and let them hear my heart beat.
“Before we continue, could I get you anything? Water, soda, wine?”
I smiled. “What would you like me to have?”
“Oh you are cheeky.” He grinned. “Perhaps a little caffeine, to stimulate you. What does everyone think?”
There was a nod of agreement from the group and some muttering of approval. The first man smiled and had one of the caterers being me a soda can on a platter with a straw beside it.
“Go ahead and open it, then use the straw to limit your movement to drink.” He instructed.
I did as he asked. Once the can was open and the straw was in, in leaned over to the table where it sat and drank a few gulps. As I did, the man placed the diaphragm on my chest again.
He closed his eyes, listening and seemingly very content with the sound. Finally he opened them, took my hand and kissed the back of it. He stepped aside and the next person in line stepped up.
There was no clock in the room but it felt like time slowed in this room. Each person took their turn stepping up to my seat and just listening to my heartbeat. Some had me drink the soda, some had me lay down, some had me sit and stand quickly. I’d stand there and pant through running in place and jumping jacks in a too tight dress, as they listened to my heart’s reaction and then recovery.
Ba-dumpba-dumpba-dumpba-dump ba-dump ba-dump ba-dump
I had to admit, this was fun.
The last person was a woman, she couldn’t have been much older than me. She seemed more keen then the men had. Her eyes were bright behind her mask. She took a deep breath as her gold and white stethoscope settled on my chest.
“My… your heart… it’s by far one of the loveliest I’ve heard.” She said to me, her voice was lustful. “May I rest my head on your chest? Hear it directly with my ear?”
“Sure. I don’t see why not.” I replied.
“Would you like to hear your heart while I do?” She removed the stethoscope and offered it.
The people in the room all watched, eager to see how I would respond. Well, why not? If it made them happy it was my job tonight. I don’t think I’d ever heard my heartbeat before, not like this anyway.
“Okay. Sure” I replied with a smile.
That was the right answer as she grinned with excitement and placed the ear pieces in my ears. Then she placed the diaphragm down on my skin and rested her ear next to it.
I inhaled as I had before and my head filled with the rhythmic thumping they’d all been indulging in for the last few hours.
Ba-dump ba-dump ba-dump ba-dump
I closed my own eyes and lost myself in the sound. Maybe I should come to these parties more often. Hearing the steady beat, knowing it was mine… that was intoxicating.
“Do you like it?” She asked.
“Yeah. I think I get the vibe.” I responded.
“Are you ready to try something a little more interesting?” The first man asked, approaching me slowly. “You can refuse any of the requests, we won’t take offense or change your compensation. These would be granting special requests.”
The stethoscope was removed from my ears and I almost whined about it. I liked hearing my heart, understanding what they were hearing. What they enjoyed that brought me here.
“Sure,” I said. “What do you have in mind?”
End?

Cochise announces headlining WHY ALWAYS ME? World Tour kicking off in February
Fresh off the release of his fourth studio album WHY ALWAYS ME?, Florida rap star Cochise has just announced his forthcoming headlining World Tour – kicking off in February, 2025. Presale tickets will be on sale starting at 12:00pm EST on 11/20 (PW: WHYALWAYSME), while general on sale tickets go live starting at 10:00am Local Time on 11/22 (ticket link here). Taking Houston rapper TisaKorean on the road with him as an opener, Cochise will be embarking throughout North America during the tour's first leg, ending in his home-state of Florida on 3/30, before linking up with buzzing UK rapper Len for the majority of the European leg – concluding in Poland on 5/6. The recently-released WHY ALWAYS ME? arrived in October backed by a string of singles that included "GOOGLE ME", “YOSHIMITSU” (40M+ Streams), and the Aminé-assisted "NASTY". Boasting other features from Veeze and Anycia, WHY ALWAYS ME? served as a championship album celebrating a new era for Cochise — marking his first LP since 2022's THE INSPECTION and his appearance on the 2022 XXL Freshman cover. With production from BYNX (Drake, Travis Scott), Supah Mario (Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert), CHASETHEMONEY (J. Cole, Juice WRLD), and Lex Luger (Kanye West, Chief Keef), WHY ALWAYS ME? is a nebula of intergalactic opulence, melting into Cochise's hypnotizing vocals and sky-diving delivery.
Hailing from Palm Bay, Florida, Cochise is known for a kaleidoscopic sound that blends elements of Jamaican dancehall, hip-hop, and trap with animated lyricism punctuated by deep-cut references to anime, sports, and pop culture. Hailed for his high-flying vocal acrobatics and hazy, ethereal production, he exploded onto the scene with his 2021 major label debut Benbow Crescent, which featured the RIAA Certified Gold hit track “Hatchback” (400M Streams). Cochise has since sold out a solo headlining world tour and collaborated with the likes of Lil Yachty, Chief Keef, Denzel Curry, Juicy J, Teezo Touchdown, Lil B, and more.

BLUE MOON BALL DAY ONE - "Dusk, at the Blue Moon's Ball"
I was invited to the "Blue Moon Ball" earlier this month, and i'm very glad to have finally arrived here.
I spent all of the noon flying over to Medford-Jackson Airport from my home at Buss Island, and it took a longer time still to arrive at the establishment itself. Thankfully, i wasn't too late to be let in. I greeted the host and presented him with a gift: A genuine (though non-functional) Luger pistol picked out of the waters around Buss Island and decorated with gold and precious stones. They mustn't have been entirely impressed with the gift, as he came off as sort of awkward when accepting it. I do not take offence over this.
The venue of the event, as i have seen, is very grand and intricate. The marble and cedar furnishings glisten in the ochre light of magical lamp-posts, in form and function much like the gas-powered heat lamps at ski lodges, and the light-speckled ceiling of the cloudless twilight sky almost seems to be breathing as the event's patrons dance underneath it. The "Blue Moon" itself seems to have not made an appearance yet, and i anticipate its arrival greatly. I do have a bit of a penchant for rare natural phenomena. If a ball is being held for this "Blue Moon", it must surely be grand.
My blue palmtree aloha and leather satchel combination does gather a few confused looks from my much more formally dressed fellows, and i am yet to see my friend, the Good Wizard, but i will not be deterred by these minor setbacks. I plan to spend my time well, and i will not let my goal be usurped by hell, high water, or any other malefactor, this i have made certain to ensure with my security detail i have planted within the ranks of the staff. After all, i have the capacity to be a very important figure on the world stage.
Thus concludes my first log entry of the Blue Moon Ball. I am yet to locate the buffet.

Resident evil researching part 2
Other media
The Resident Evil franchise features video games and tie-in merchandise and products, including various live-action and animated films, comic books, and novels.
Films
Live-action films
From 2002 to 2016, six live-action Resident Evil films were produced, all written and produced by Paul W. S. Anderson. The films do not follow the games' premise but feature some game characters. The series' protagonist is Alice, an original character created for the films portrayed by Milla Jovovich. Despite a negative reaction from critics, the live-action film series has made over $1 billion worldwide.
They are, to date, the only video game adaptations to increase the amount of money made with each successive film. The series holds the record for the "Most Live-Action Film Adaptations of a Video Game" in the 2012 Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition, which also described it as "the most successful movie series to be based on a video game."
Animated films
The first computer animated film for the franchise was Biohazard 4D-Executer. It was a short 3D film produced for Japanese theme parks and did not feature any characters from the game.
Starting in 2008, a series of feature-length computer-animated films have been released. These films take place in the same continuity with the games of the series, and feature characters such as Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Ada Wong, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine and Rebecca Chambers.
Television
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, a four-part CG anime series, premiered on July 8, 2021, on Netflix. Starring the Resident Evil 2 protagonists Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, the series features both uncovering a worldwide plot. The series released on July 8, 2021 on Netflix.
Merchandise
Over the years, various toy companies have acquired the Resident Evil license, with each producing their own unique line of Resident Evil action figures or models. These include, but are not limited to, Toy Biz, Palisades Toys, NECA, and Hot Toys.
Tokyo Marui also produced replicas of the guns used in the Resident Evil series in the form of gas blow-back airsoft guns. Some models included the STARS Beretta featured in Resident Evil 3, and the Desert Eagle in a limited edition that came with other memorabilia in a wooden case, along with the Gold Lugers from Code: Veronica and the "Samurai Edge" pistol from the Resident Evil remake. Other merchandise includes an energy drink called "T-virus Antidote".
A Resident Evil theme restaurant called Biohazard Cafe & Grill S.T.A.R.S. opened in Tokyo in 2012. Halloween Horror Nights 2013, held at Universal Orlando, featured a haunted house titled Resident Evil: Escape from Raccoon City, based on Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
Novels
The first Resident Evil novel was Hiroyuki Ariga's novella Biohazard: The Beginning, published in 1997 as a portion of the book The True Story of Biohazard, which was given away as a pre-order bonus with the Sega Saturn version of Biohazard. The story serves as a prelude to the original Resident Evil, in which Chris investigates the disappearance of his missing friend, Billy Rabbitson.
S. D. Perry has written novelizations of the first five games, as well as two original novels taking place between games. The novels often take liberties with the games' plot by exploring events occurring outside and beyond the games. This often meant that the games would later contradict the books on a few occasions. One notable addition from the novels is the original character Trent, who often served as a mysterious behind-the-scenes string-puller who aided the main characters. Perry's novels were translated and released in Japan with new cover arts by Wolfina.
There are a trilogy of original Biohazard novels in Japan. Hokkai no Yōjū (北海の妖獣, lit. "The Strange Beast of the North Sea") was published in 1998 and was written by Kyū Asakura and the staff of Flagship. Two additional novels were published in 2002, To the Liberty by Sudan Kimura and Rose Blank by Tadashi Aizawa. While no official English translation of these novels has been published yet, the last two books were translated into German and published in 2006.
Comics
In 1997, Marvel Comics published a single-issue prologue comic based on the original Resident Evil, released through a promotional giveaway alongside the original PlayStation game.
In 1998, WildStorm began producing a monthly comic book series based on the first two games, titled Resident Evil: The Official Comic Magazine, which lasted five issues. The first four issues were published by Image, while Wildstorm themselves published the fifth and final issue. Each issue was a compilation of short stories that were both adaptations of events from the games and related side stories. Like the Perry novels, the comics also explored events occurring beyond Resident Evil 2 (the latest game during the series' publication) and thus were contradicted by later games.
For the inspiration of Resident Evil and their series is for the comic ideas and the game cover of it, which is that it can be very simple for it's colours to make it more like horror pop art in 2000s to 2010s.

Houston’s Haunted Zoo
Texas
The Houston Zoo is located on the grounds of Hermann Park, and has been at this location since 1922 after the need for a larger facility to house additional animals was decided upon. With this new location came a new employee: Hans Nagel. It is believed that Nagel was born in Germany in 1892. As the son of a military officer, he was sent at a young age to Officer Training School. However, the military life was not in the cards for Nagel; he went AWOL and literally jumped off a ship, only to be rescued by an animal collector working with Hagenback Gardens. Nagel had found his calling and quickly learned the animal training trade.
His journey to America and specifically to Texas is a shady one, but the important this is, he made it and was quickly given employment with the Houston Zoo. Nagel was a showman; his lion-taming feats, among other amazing shows, were constantly featured in newsreels and publications of the day, bringing in numerous guests to the now-thriving zoo.
Before long, Nagel was made head keeper/director of the facility, and it was a job he took very seriously. He was known to patrol the grounds of the zoo with his 9mm Luger pistol, keeping it safe from intruders…and the occasional rogue animal. The city of Houston once awarded Nagel a gold medal for shooting to death a Bengal tiger that was attacking one of the zoo officials. The city also awarded Nagel a commissions as a special police for the zoo.
That distinction was pulled from Nagel in 1929 by Mayor Walter Monteith on the recommendation of the City Park Commission over issues that Nagel was abusing his authority. But, a lack of title wasn’t going to stop Nagel from protecting his beloved zoo. Unfortunately, six bullets would.
On a Monday afternoon in November of 1941, a police officer patrolling the area of the zoo noticed Nagel hiding in some bushes, spying on a car of teenagers. The officer asked the teens if they knew they were being watched, which was an obvious ‘no.’ The officer then attempted to handcuff Nagel and bring him to the station to discuss the matter of jurisdiction. At this point, things get a little sketchy. Nagel apparently resisted arrest, and the officer claims he went for that famous Luger pistol he always kept at his side. Before he could reach the pistol, the officer shot Nagel six times, killing him. The officer was acquitted on the grounds of self-defense.
Those six bullets may have stopped Nagel’s body, but even they couldn’t stop his spirit. Many believe he is still keeping a watchful eye over his zoo. Unexplained occurrences have been noted in the Denton A. Cooley Animal Hospital, but the majority of ghostly activity is associated with the Commissary building. The Commissary is where all the food for the animals is stored and prepared. Staff reporting to work in the building between 5 and 6 am have reported hearing voices and seeing the shadowy figure of a man walking around. The ghost stories are such an integral part of the zoo’s history that they are extensively covered in the zoo’s official blog. Further, amateur ghost hunters on staff at the zoo routinely take turns spending the night in the building in hopes of collecting evidence of Nagel’s presence. So far, a couple of really good EVPs have been caught (which can be heard on the link below) but I personally think they sound like a woman’s voice.
But why would Hans choose the haunt the Commissary, a building that wasn’t even built at the time of his death? Zoo staff believe they have solved that mystery; according to police reports, Nagel was shot “about 300 feet from the Outer Belt Road and on a gravel road leading West to East.” When they compared old maps of the zoo, they found that this area coincides with the current location of the Commissary building.

Different Types of Bullets and Their Uses
The .38 extraordinary ammo is famous for home and self-preservation circumstances. It is marginally bigger than a 9 mm slug, (9 mm versus 9.1 mm) and will squeeze into most .38 exceptional guns.
There is a .38 exceptional S&W assortment that has a bigger case width making it too huge to even consider stacking into a norm .38 unique. S&W represents Smith and Wesson - the .38special bullet and the .38 S&W bullet are not compatible despite the fact that you can fit a .38 unique into a .38 S&W handgun.
The .38 unique bullet fits a couple of rifle applications. More seasoned military rifles, for example, the Japanese Sort 38 Rifle is one such gun.
OTB - Open tip Bullets are otherwise called match bullets since they are a #1 at shooting occasions and for target practice. They get their name because of a little space at the tip.
Like most ammo, they can have a scope of purposes. Individuals need to involve them for hunting, and they will work however there are such countless better decisions.
OTB is valued for contests since they are more precise than numerous different sorts of bullets, like adjusted tip bullets. The little open pit at the bullet's head extends holding the tip of the bullet back from hanging during its direction. OTB is one type of empty point bullets.
Policing are strategic ammo frequently empty point and may incorporate reinforcement puncturing applications. The bullets may not really be greater or higher in grain as the two parts of bullets imply that the gun holds less adjusts. An illustration of a policing is a 9 mm luger 135 gr - as conveyed by most FBI specialists. Check out cci 550 primers.
Short proximity bullets are much of the time those reasonable for handguns since handguns shoot at a lower speed and don't make generally excellent long-range weapons. Handguns are for the most part great in the zero to 50-yard range. Absolutely, shells from handguns can travel more than 50-yards, yet they will quite often quickly lose precision.
Shotgun shells arrive in a variety of sizes. They are somewhat not the same as bullets that have a metal packaging and on second thought have crates that hold the shot.
Shotguns are short proximity weapons and can be valuable with good reason assuming there is adequate space to carry the gun to bear. Crowdedness can make going for the gold. At the point when you really want to spread shot over a wide region, a shotgun finishes the work well. A splash of dots can cover 5+ feet in measurement.

COCHISE SHARES NEW ALBUM WHY ALWAYS ME?
Florida rap star Cochise has just released his new album WHY ALWAYS ME? — out now. WHY ALWAYS ME? arrives on the heels of a string of singles for the rapper, including "GOOGLE ME", “YOSHIMITSU” (40M Streams), and the Aminé-assisted "NASTY". Boasting features from Veeze and Anycia as well as Aminé, WHY ALWAYS ME? is a championship album that celebrates a new era for Cochise — marking his first LP since 2022's THE INSPECTION and his appearance on the 2022 XXL Freshman cover. With production from BYNX (Drake, Travis Scott), Supah Mario (Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert), CHASETHEMONEY (J. Cole, Juice WRLD), and Lex Luger (Kanye West, Chief Keef), WHY ALWAYS ME? is a nebula of intergalactic opulence, perfectly melting into Cochise's hypnotizing vocals and sky-diving delivery. The colorfully outlandish trailer to WHY ALWAYS ME? finds Cochise at a party summoning a Candyman style alter-ego: The Professor.

WCW vs nWo : Lex Luger Rises Up And Defeats Hollywood Hogan
During the Monday Night War, the nWo ( New World Order) invaded World Championship Wrestling ( WCW) taking over everything and causing destruction wherever they went during the show. However on August 4, 1997 . Hollywood Hogan would find out that he wasn’t as strong as he was. Lex Luger , the most popular babyface for the company , would show him that WCW would not back down. He took on the WCW champion in a fight to take back the company and win gold.
This match happened on the 100th episode of WCW Monday Nitro. Hogan and Luger’s battle for the title ran 13 minutes. However, Luger defeated the nWo leader 4 months before Starrcade 97.
During the match, the nWo tried to interfere in the match with Luger preventing them from doing so by battling them and keeping them from helping Hogan. Luger finishes Hogan with his signature move, the Torture Rack after giving him a forearm. Luger winning the match. After having his hand raised in victory , the entire WCW locker room ran down to the ring and celebrated with him by lifting him up and Luger shaking their hands as a thank you. The locker room realized they have beaten the nWo. The spray paint Hogan left on the belt was soon wiped away, signaling a new champion.
On Eric Bischoff’s podcast , 83 Weeks, Luger said that he did not know that he would win the title until the very last minute. He also said that this was a major highlight in his career. Luger also credited Bischoff and Hogan for letting him win.
Hollywood Hogan was never beaten on live TV until that night . However, Luger’s championship reign did not last long. Hogan would win the championship back five days later at the WCW Pay-Per-View , Road Wild.
My Final Thoughts:
This match is one of my favorite matches in WCW. I found it to be very entertaining and to me , it was how a championship match should be booked with Lex Luger being the ultimate Babyface and Hollywood Hogan being the Old School Heel. If I was there, I probably would’ve been cheering Hogan on because I’m a fan of the nWo. Luger and Hogan are also two of my Dad’s all time favorite wrestlers. I bet he had a hard time watching this match. And this post is dedicated to my Dad as well since Hogan and Luger are two of his favorites.
Love You All Readers,
- Kay
