I think Raditz has one of those experiences of going Super Saiyan during sex. But it's like...REALLY different, given the context.

First off, given the difference in power level, he might have assumed it wasn't something that he could even do, on the battlefield or off. But maybe at a point when he's really just...comfortable with himself, and with a partner, and really into what's happening, there's a little crackle, a hint of light that his partner writes off as static in his hair or something.

But HE knows, or suspects, what it is. And it shakes his paradigm pretty hard. Because that is goddamn complicated.

It's a combat thing. It's something you train for. It's something you harness rage for, or some other feeling that's going to carry you through to get the power you need to really destroy something. It's for the strong ones.

It's not...this.

It's not something that happens when you're...relaxed, or...something is good, like that. (He won't say happy, he won't say content; but he will at least say good, at this point.) It's not something that happens when you breathe that way.

But he thinks about it. And wonders about it. And he explains it to his partner as best he can, in a way that will make the most sense to them without telling the ugliest parts. And they don't try for it; not right away, and not for a while.

When they do, though, it does happen. He gets the full transformation. And he does feel the increase in power, and it's a little off-putting, because it came out of a desire for closeness instead of violence; out of something peaceful instead of belligerent. He has a hard time reconciling it. And a hard time reconciling that it came EASY. It seems almost like cheating. It seems almost not real. But there it is, regardless--proof in the light.

And he sees himself reflected in his partner's awe-struck eyes, and he sees something beautiful.

It probably doesn't happen again. He's just never in the same headspace. But he knows it's possible, he knows he can.

And that changes something about him, a little.

I have the weirdest hang-ups about "realism" cuz I saw your Dani stuff and fell in love with the twinkgirl energy in the same way that I fell in love with Charlie's could-be-daddy-if-her-personality-wasnt-bubblegum vibe but then I scrolled to see that Dani's hair goes curly when she goes demon mode and my first thought was "why though? That wouldn't happen" as if there were rules on going demon mode but I mean the horns and tail? Yeah normal and of course would happen anyways-

I just made it that way to both reference the fact that she's supposed to be a sheep and to give her a weird hair thing that only happens when on demon mode, in the same way that Charlie's gets all flowy when she's on her demon mode. And while fanon likes to have Charlie's horns come out when she's experiencing extreme emotions, Dani's hair gets fluffier and curlier when the same thing happens especially when she's stressed. So like, the calmer she is, the flatter her hair is.
