mystery number Another One to do with the gold: where it was and where it's been moved. i hate to say it but i think george's point here is actually worth considering a little. like if kinzo bought rokkenjima using the gold that was already on rokkenjima what does that actually mean.

#umineko liveblog #ep1 reread #if the gold was on rokkenjima all along that raises questions #given that we know kinzo bought the island at the end of the war #preventing it from becoming used as an allied marine outpost base and then hoarding the land ever since #but there is still that ambiguity as to whether or not military infrastructure was ever built on rokkenjima before kinzo bought it #which if this is the case swings the theory away from nazi gold and back to american/allied gold #except then you have to ask why on earth would western marines bring a load of their own gold to some random proposed japanese outpost #forget asking how the gold was there let's instead ask why the gold was there #because it's really weird that it exists in the first place
