Spread Love

I’d like to start off by saying, my thoughts and love are with all those affected by the horrible events that occurred last night in Orlando.

I’d like to nominate my best friend Tara (http://foreveroutoftune.tumblr.com/) . She has stuck around since primary school and still continues to put up with my weird shenanigans on a weekly basis.

We have great bants, adventures and fun. When i was feeling kinda down about people backing out on me she stepped in (i may have forced her slightly but hey she said yes eventually) Since then, i have achieved thing I never thought i would’ve achieved.

We completed radio training, we became hosts on Australia’s ONLY Under 18s drive show, and now WE HAVE OUR OWN SHOW, Completely controlled and run by us talking about the things we love (fandoms lel) I also recently completed TV and screen training and we have made heaps of new friends.

I know it may not seem like a big deal but I don’t do much else in my life other than school and radio has been my escape, my source of fun. Something that helps me to get through the week. If it weren’t for Tara sticking by me and helping me turn my (somewhat weird and exclusive ideas) into something that (hopefully) people enjoy listening to as much as we enjoy making it then i wouldn’t be as happy as I am currently.

Tara is super cool and grateful, she never takes things for granted. She is willing to fight for what she believes is right and voice her opinion (which is something incredible and so courageous) I can’t think of a better person to give a prize to. Just as a little “hey, we appreciate the people who might not get noticed for what they do” (even though her personality is not so little if you know her)

SO THANK YOU to TARA my best friend who is too good to me and has helped me achieve some of my dreams already and we are only what? 16 HECK YEAH go us

Give love everyday

Ok, so first of all.. this person does not have a tumblr, therefore I’m not going to win, but I don’t really mind. There is a person who changed me, my way of thinking, who saved my life and is keeping me here on this world. It all started when I was a teen - i was that weirdo, without close friends, because i liked books and games more than partying and other.. stuff. I never fitted in, and since I always was dealing with depression, misophonia and other “funny” stuff, I was.. I am still little bit suicidal. I had nobody around. But then I realized that maybe i should try to talk to my .... mum. And she understood. Not in my wildest dreams I would say that my mum and I can be so close, so.. same. We share so many things - whatever I love and I’ll introduce it to her, she love it almost as much. And yes, Supernatural, is one of those things. I mean, having my mum as a best and closest friend is the best thing on the world. She will never betray you or hurt you. There’s this one problem - she’s not very healthy. But we keep each other happy and together we are fighting every day.  Guys.. communication is usually the key. And family is everything. Even tho, family doesn’t end with blood. ;-) I love you mum. But you know that.

Help Give Love Everyday

This probably won’t win prizes and such. But I nominate everyone who tried out the Gish Whes. I nominate Misha Collins. I nominate everyone who nominated. I nominate the families who were personally involved with the victims of the Orlando, Florida shooting. I nominate anyone who was targeted and hated for their personal beliefs. I nominate any one who prayed for Christina Grimm because she didn’t deserve to die. I nominate anyone who is pushed down, who cries at night, and who tries telling themselves to stay strong. I nominate anyone who has ever made a difference. Because you people, you are the ones who make me want to change the world. You make me want to help people open their eyes and see everyone should be together. You inspire me. Sure you probably can’t give a gift or prize to everyone I nominated, but you can give them the gift of faith. No, it doesn’t have to mean pray, do anything to help them, because these are the people who need the prizes. We stand together, because in the end we all have the same fate.

I’d like to nominate my boyfriend. He doesn’t have a Tumblr but he deserves a nomination. He has saved me in so many ways. I’m bipolar and he loves me during my ups and downs and in between. He reminds me of my worth constantly. He reminds me daily that I’m a good mom. He loves me unconditionally. He would help anyone who needs it. Protect those he loves with his life. He is a true gentleman and honest to the bone. He is selfless and giving. If it wasn’t for him coming in to my life when he did who knows where I would be. He gives me the strength and courage to go out into the world and be myself. Because of him I am not sick anymore. I am finally whole and really truly happy. It’s all I’ve ever wanted in life and he has given me that and so much more. Words cannot describe how I feel about him and all that I owe him. He doesn’t have Tumblr but I’m going to nominate him anyway.

@heythereforeigner We used to be best friends. It has been a while since we truly talked, but I'm sure that if we went out for lunch, it would be as if no time had gone by. The countless hours sharing secrets and stories, laughing and sometimes crying over them, are moments that we will never get back, so we might as well remember and cherish them. I would like to take this opportunity to remind us both of how close we were, and in a weird way still are. You are one of the sweetest and most caring people out there, and you have made my life so much better. The way you actually listen to what others have to say and course through life with genuine joy gives me hope of making this planet better. I want you to know that you have helped shape me into the person I am today, and I am infinitely grateful for that. Because of you, I am kinder and gentler towards others. So... Thank you for helping me spread the love through this world!

Gishwhes

The person on tumblr who has made a difference in my life and deserves something special is my girlfriend, @beesintheimpala. 

I met her when I was very depressed, I was at my lowest. To be honest I don’t know how could she stick with me.

I actually met her because she was dressed up as Castiel in a convention and we traded our phone numbers to talk about the show, since it’s not that popular in my country and we were excited to meet another fan here. We talked everyday without exception and it was the highlight of my days. 

She helped me a lot when I thought no one, even me, could. She accepted me and supported me when I came out, in fact, she was the first person I came out to. I was very scared but I could always be myself around her no matter what. She was the first person that made me feel like I was myself, if that makes any sense. She always made me feel safe. 

I am better know, and even though there were lots of factors that helped me getting better, she was one of the few that were there by my side when I had a bad day and needed someone to talk to. 

We shared many things since we’ve met, many wonderful things. She’s an amazing person and I love her very much. I don’t know what my future will be like, but I’m certain I want her there (even if we want different kinds of dog...).

If someone on tumblr deserves this prizes, she’s definitely one of them.

Giving Love, Everyday

Are you familiar with the expression “they would give you the shirt off their back”?  I am privileged to have someone in my life who has actually done that and more for the people of this world.  

I am nominating my dear friend and co-worker Penny Knox.  Penny is the most selfless person one could ever have the the chance of meeting in one’s life.  Penny is a woman of modest means, but does not let that limit the bounds upon which she will give.  

I have seen Penny offer to let a complete stranger move into her house, just because she was new to the area down on her luck.  This woman moved to the Phoenix area from Texas for a fresh start.  She encountered an unfortunate series of events on her journey to Phoenix, which included being robbed of most of her earthly possessions.  Upon hearing this, without missing a beat, Penny told this woman that she had a spare bedroom and offered it to her at no cost until she got back on her feet.  

Penny’s absolute heart of gold will not let her witness another person go hungry.  Despite the amount and her ability to give, Penny will share whatever food she has to anyone who looks hungry.  Penny told me a story in which she was downtown serving for jury duty and she gave a homeless woman part of her small lunch, just so that she would not go hungry.  It was the only meal that person had eaten in a few days, and despite Penny’s own needs, she happily provided a meal to her.

Penny knows no limits in her ability to give.  Upon multiple occasions, just talking out loud about how to solve a problem in my life, Penny comes from out of no where to offer her support and save the day.  Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to help the victims of Cyclone Winston in Fiji on a medical mission.  I was wracking my brain, trying to figure out how I could make it work with my school schedule, work schedule, and family life.  Penny, being the amazing person that she is, offered emotional support when I felt like I couldn’t do it, and again without skipping a beat, assumed responsibility of several things so that it would not get neglected in my absence.  She even offered to watch my dogs so I wouldn’t worry.

Are you also familiar with the expression “no good deed goes unpunished”?  That too also describes Penny.  Despite having the kindest, most generous heart of gold one could ever imagine, she also has the worst luck.  Over the past several years, Penny has experienced house foreclosure, car troubles, health troubles, and other financial woes.  She never lets it get her down, and always has a smile on her face and love in her heart.  Despite being taken advantage of on many occasions, she never loses faith in humanity.  Despite the terrible things she has seen in her life, she never lets it make her bitter.  She deserves every blessing in the world and if I could ever find a way to repay her kindness to the world, I would.

Thank you for considering her for this contest.  She has no idea that I am nominating her for this, and if you asked her, she would say she didn’t deserve it.  Please know from the bottom of my heart, I cannot think of a single soul more deserving.  I know she would be so eternally grateful if she won, and would find a way to share it with everyone she encounters, just because that the kind, generous, and loving person that she is.
