I’ve given this some thought, and I believe Jimmy would totally get off (especially from s4 where he thinks he deserves it) if Kim called him a disgusting slime puppy
Thank God he never crossed paths with Gerri, because if anyone could come between him and Kim....

"I'M the one who knocks!"
"Fuck you, I'M the danger!"
Then they both lunge at each other and fight for 2.5 seconds before keeling over.
Logan would angrily toss a pizza atop someone's roof

Thinking about Logan telling Kendall he’s not made for the world and he’s a hothouse flower, with Chuck telling Jimmy to bury his emotions because all he’s good for is hurting people.
Both masking their malice with disappointment. Smh.

Always got Gould’s “even when Jimmy is raging mad he wants to be held by Chuck and told he’s okay” replaying in my head, and I feel like if that actually happened, he’d have a crying breakdown like Kendall in the s1 finale.
He wants to be Chuck's number one boy more than anything.

Succession/BCS crossover?
Oh my friend, look up the tag #gillisucc on my blog, and despair at the dark treasures there!

Thinking about what McKean said about telling Jimmy something so terrible that his brother never comes near the door again because otherwise Jimmy will just keep coming back, but ultimately overwhelmed with guilt, and that contrast with Logan’s “kicking the dog just to see if it would come back”.
Heeheeheehoo, good thing this kind of thing doesn't drive me insane at all! Both Chuck and Logan are steeped so deeply in denial that they can't register how badly they've fucked up until their kicked dogs don't come back anymore. This realization kills Chuck, and we'll see what it does to Logan in season 4.

Feel like, if Chuck was in Succession, he would be horrified at no real person involved… while being completely un self aware that little philosophy is how he treats Jimmy. (“Chimp with a machine gun” is kind of horrifying thing to say if you think about it.)
He would definitely fit right in with the Pierces in the world of rich progressives oblivious to their own privilege and exploitation of people in Jimmy's class.

I completely believe that if he had the mobile phone technology, whether it was Saul or Jimmy on a high (though if it’s with Kim then definitely not if she said no) would take a dick pic and accidentally send it to the wrong person.
We're going the Roman Roy route, so the pic goes to Chuck

Poking you for the JimmyShiv crossover bestie
It was either you or Del who first asked me about them in a cracky sort of way, but as I answered I suddenly started thinking about them more seriously (because God forbid I ever just let anything stay crack and not immediately take it into serious headcanoning territory).
I think they would initially be very wary of each other. Jimmy is way too clever and silver-tongued for Shiv to want to play with, and Shiv is a cold trust fund kid whose privilege would get on Jimmy's nerves. Yet there is something undeniably puppy-ish about Jimmy that would make Shiv feel safe and almost protective after awhile, and if Jimmy saw her in tears after getting berated by Logan like in Austerlitz, I think he'd also be protective while also deeply recognizing that hurt.
They are both so much more vulnerable than they pretend, so much more attached to the people in their lives than they like. And when those loved ones wrong them, hell hath no fury, etc.
So I do see them functioning in a lot of ways like later McWexler and even a little like TomShiv, but the difference is that I think their particular weaknesses are more aligned than Jimmy with Kim's and Shiv with Tom’s. So in their vulnerable moments I can see a genuine sweetness and tenderness there that might rival similar moments with McWexler and TomShiv.
But that makes their potential for disaster even more explosive.
Imagine the relief Shiv would feel that Jimmy decides not to become her father’s lapdog like Tom; no, he wants to screw him over for making Shiv cry.
Remember that scene where Jimmy humiliates Kim by baiting Rich into a more expensive retreat at the office Christmas party? Imagine that but instead Shiv growing prouder and hornier as he pulls the same on a furious Logan.
(Also imagine Logan’s rage at being made a fool of by Shiv’s new beau. From Tom to Slippin' Jimmy: Logan would hear Kill Bill sirens constantly. Especially if he hears rumors about his daughter and the cartel, Lalo Salamanca...)
And then Shiv decides to wreak vengeance on Tom like Kim with Howard, and I can see that ending just as tragically for all three.
In conclusion, Jimmy and Shiv are equally fucked up idiots who would make each other worse, while also becoming more protective of each other than anyone else in their lives. When I have the time and energy, I might just have to fic this horror show.
(But somebody else do it in the meantime because really I just want to read it)

Also something something about Jimmy not being able to advance because of Chuck's stubbornness about his past and Shiv because of her father and brother's bias against her gender, and instead of rising above their hurdles, both Jimmy and Shiv double down on becoming The Worst.
Like they both have it in them to do better and are absolutely worthy of redeeming themselves, but will they? Especially if they're together? I'd love to see it! But would they?

In this little gilliverse/succession universe does Chuck get on with anyone? I feel like he might respect Gerri, I don’t think he would like Connor but they might find some common ground in having to be the parent, and knowing what he’s like he’ll probably like Logan (at least for a time)
He and Logan would get along until Logan sees him with Jimmy -- really sees him with Jimmy.
From then on he sees Chuck as Ewan and himself as Jimmy. Like Ewan, Chuck the older brother is a self-righteous prig who sticks with cruel cold determination to his moral crusades. Like Logan, Jimmy the scrappy younger brother is the salesman, the one who draws people to him like a flame, who doesn't have any moral qualms about taking shortcuts to get ahead.
Logan sees the same bitter resentment in Chuck toward Jimmy that Logan perceives from Ewan. But while Logan has more worldly power than Ewan, Chuck is the one with the resources to keep Jimmy down.
This is how Logan sees it, and I think it would make him oddly protective of Jimmy.
I see him taking Jimmy under his wing, favoring his services over Chuck's. He becomes a warped mentor/father/brother figure to Jimmy, and that alone would kill any liking Chuck has for Logan.
Possibly to the point where he starts working for Ewan instead to sue Waystar for environmental crimes.

Obviously these characters meet through the merger, Waystar in bed with Madrigal. What's driving me crazy is the idea of Gus entering the world of Succession. Him and Logan facing off. My word.

Speaking of Chuck and Logan...I wonder if Logan is capable of what Chuck did to himself. After the emperor is abandoned by his empire, would he be tempted to end it all? Could he do it to spite his ungrateful children, who never loved and appreciated him enough?
Or at the end of the day is he too much of a fighter, viewing suicide as cowardly? Is he too incapable of admitting defeat? Or would that make it more likely -- he’d rather die by his own hand rather than accept defeat?

Possible Jimmy/Logan parallel no one asked for: what if Logan’s constant internal monologue is I don’t think about Rose. I don’t miss Rose. Rose was alive, and now she’s dead, and that’s that. Finito. Life goes on.
