Nurturing Your Joints: A Comprehensive Guide to Low-Impact Workouts for Lifelong Mobility
In the intricate symphony of our bodies, joints play the role of silent conductors, orchestrating every move we make. They grant us the freedom to dance, embrace loved ones, and explore the world around us. However, the passage of time, injuries, or conditions like arthritis can sometimes disrupt this harmonious flow. Low-impact workouts emerge as a gentle yet powerful solution, offering a…

Don’t blame me for this one, you guys voted for something diabolical.

The references were esoteric. In fact, I had to hide my true research from the university, under the guise of reclassifying “ritualistic” items. The irony did not escape me. I was actually looking to access a “ritualistic” item that was classified as mundane.
Legends spoke of a god of flesh. One that manipulates the body as one would manipulate clay. Its name has long since been lost to time, but there are echoes of his work in the myths of old. We often hear of a creator god shaping man from the earth, of half-human hybrids and giants and other such peculiarities. Glimpses of this god of flesh. I had only read into such a figure from a blog by happenstance. A miracle of probability.
I eyed the needle, now in my hand. It was unassuming but carried a supernatural weight to it, like the weight of time immemorial. I grinned, practically moaned as I pricked my finger with the needle.
I expected some sort of magical fanfare, maybe a gust of wind but found none. I stared at my hands and then I noticed it. My hands. My flesh. I could feel all of it. I stared intently as I pinched the skin above my finger, I willed the pleat to hold its shape and smiled. I was ready.
- - - -
I thought through the myths, now partial realities in my head. Though I felt myself brim with power, I knew the drawbacks- there had to be a reason the myths had not made it to present day. The answer appeared in my head. There is only so much one man can do, and being giftedoften made one a target. A word echoed in my head. “Protection”. That did seem to match my records. Humans of old would change their flesh to be stronger, more resilient, adapting to every circumstance thrown at them. But the weakness persisted. One prick to channel the same power as the god of flesh, and another prick locks you from that power again. I smiled to myself. I just needed to get… creative.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Joey Cooper was well-known around the college. A fifth year senior majoring in Sport Science. Not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he always meant well. He had an air of confidence to him that often aided his statuesque form. Despite this, something else drew my interest even further. His unattainability. The man was often called by his nickname “old faithful,” having been in a relationship with his girlfriend Britney for as long as any can remember. Guys and girls from all walks of life have tried to tempt “Juicy Joe” (A nickname he wasn’t aware of). None of have succeeded.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then there was Charlie Cooper, his younger brother, a freshman with the face of an angel. He had unattainability in a different sense. Kind eyes and gentle curly locks framed a face that often wore a worried expression. Unlike his brother, he was timid, and a bit reserved. He had a lack of confidence that seemed to be a hindrance to his social life. Charlie would often shied away from conversation, despite others regularly visiting his dorm. Charlie roomed with Joey in the school dorms, a rarity for this campus. I overheard a conversation with Charlie once on this oddity. Beneath his unintelligible mumbling he mentioned something about being “faithful to Brit” and getting Charlie “out of his shell”.
I bit my lip thinking about the prospects.
— - - - - -
“Oh hey Joey!” I waved casually as I approached a Joey returning to his dorm room, face flush and covered in a sheen. He must have just come from the gym. He was consistent with his workouts, so it was no surprise he would still be in campus after finals to get one last pump in.
“Hey dude! Uh, sorry I don’t remember names to well”. He replied back in a friendly manner. I shook my head at that.
“No need to apologize. I don’t think we’ve ever formally met.” He looked back at me expectantly, hand outstretched to greet. I shook it as I continued. “My name’s gonna be Joey too”. He nodded and smiled politely but the man’s face couldn’t hide his visible confusion.
I clung onto the lack of rejection on Joey’s part as an invitation for myself. As he continued into his room, I followed, allowing the door to close behind us. The silence from the near empty dorm was deafening. He turned around, again making a polite smile. “Uh hey again… Joey… can I help you?”
Tumblr media
I dropped all pretense, rushing to his bed and taking a whiff. “Fuck dude, you smell so hot”. Everything in the room carried a small sample of his scent. Like a gentle sweaty musk overlaid with his detergent. I looked to the sweaty Joey, inching closer and taking a whiff of his fresh personal scent. Divine. I felt my jaw unlock in a small moan. His post workout scent was like a concentrate of the pleasant musk I smelled before. Like raw testosterone and shallow breaths, and a hint of earthiness that exuded power. Juicy Joe. I was drunk on the scent, mind transfixed, until I caught him staring. He was starting to get upset.
“Hey bro, you should probably lea-“ He froze as he saw me extend a nerve out of my hand, like a red root outstretched into the air. “The fuck?”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He began stepping back but as soon as my nerve landed on his arm, he struggled back into stillness. I smiled in euphoria as I felt every individual root of my vein burrow into his skin and connect with his. Checkmate. He watched as more and more of my nerve rooted into his flesh, screaming as he felt the violation to his sense of touch.
“No one can hear you bro, it’s after finals, remember?” I twirled the needle in front of him before setting it on the table. “Can’t have you taking a shower and removing your natural cologne”. Joey was still frozen as he saw me begin to undress. Juicy Joe had a body brimming with power, and I knew it would burst at any moment. I took care as I undressed, rooting and unrooting my nerves, and making sure to always keep at least one red thread of control on him at all times.
Joey glared as he saw me finish placing my clothes in a neat pile on the floor. “Your turn”.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“What the fuck dude!? What makes you think-“ He was cut off as the red strings bridging our flesh began to writhe. In turn, he felt his meaty arms begin to move, and pull down his compression shorts. The feeling was altogether unfamiliar, as he felt his own flesh betray him and move to my will. I willed him to hand me the soaked shorts. Even with the power of the god of flesh on my side, I could feel Joey struggling for control through sheer willpower alone. I laughed a little in my head. There are other ways to break a man.
I brought his heavenly scented shorts up to my face, gorging myself on the potent raw musk of man. Like a pungent blast of earth and humidity and testosterone. A Joey-concentrate. I could practically feel the potency of it clawing at my nostrils. A sweat-laden Joey reeked in the best way. I must have been lost in pleasure, because my eyes refocused to his pleading face. “P-please man, just stop whatever this is. What do you want?”
I laughed. “Isn’t it obvious? It’s you. I want you. Every part of you.”
A few more nerves shot from my legs, and directly into his. With some new tethers in place, I pulled the threads connecting my arms to his, and quickly slipped under his sweaty workout shirt. I clung to his muscled chest for dear life. ‘Bless these stretchy workout shirts,’ I thought to myself. I felt along the ridges of his spine, across his shoulders which screamed power, and with my hands, I greedily caressed the flesh previously only touched by Britney. I gripped our embrace tighter. Joey was screaming and writhing, soaking the shirt further and my body in his struggle. I moaned as he screamed, as every turn and twist his body made also pushed my chest closer to his, confined by his own workout shirt. I sighed dreamily as his struggle compressed us closer together.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
With the power of the needle, I made myself much more malleable and began to slip my arms to into the arm sleeves of his shirt. I spiraled them across his meaty biceps, possessively claiming every square inch of his flesh as my own. I did the same with my legs, wanting to bind us further.
The sight must have been bizarre- two men, naked from the waist down, both in the same sweaty workout shirt. And the smaller man, stretching and wrapping his arms and legs over the other.
“Now for some real fun” I stated, as I shot out as many of my nerves into him as I could. He screamed at the sensory assault as he fell unconscious. I merely continued rooting into him, relishing in being able to feel every inch of Mr. Unattainable. I slowly stumbled our bodies toward his mirror, making sure to have him grab his own phone.

Tumblr media
When Joey came to, he saw my head hanging to the side in front of his, and his body enveloped by mine. He panicked when he saw more threads from my face rooted into his neck and mouth. “Fuck Joey, I can feel how strong your lungs are. Even your breaths feel like a top jock” I moaned.
Like raindrops, I felt his tears stream down his cheek and onto my face. “L-Let me go man. Look I’m sorry for whatever I did to you. I swear I don’t remember doing anything.”
I laughed callously. “No need to apologize, bro. You haven’t done anything to me. I just want you all to my own.” I brought his phone up to his face so he could see the name on the call screen. Britney.
“Babe?” She answered. “What’s up?”
“H-HEL-“ He tried to holler. Instead, his neck swelled and throat strained as he my red thread began to writhe.
“Joey? Is everything all right?” She asked in a worried tone.
“Fuck yeah it is,” Joey’s mouth laughed, while his eyes showed fear. I continued to use him as my mouth piece. “You’re so boring, Brit. Just called to tell you it’s over.” Tears began to well in his eyes. I could practically hear the tears in Brit’s eyes over the phone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Joey… I. Is something wrong? You never call me Brit. I told you how my dad used to…” She trailed, trying to rationalize the situation.
I continued the puppet show as Joey’s eyes continued pleading with me. “Nothing’s wrong, Babe. In fact, it’s finally all right over here.” He stated with a smile. Joey’s eyes winced at the venom spewing from his mouth.
Joey grunted as he tried to stop his free hand from fondling my ass. “Do you know how many girls and guys wanted in these pants, Brit? Do you know how hard is to always turn someone down. They all want a piece of Juicy Joe.”
“I mean, yeah, I guess you mentioned it once…” She sniffled. “But I thought we were fine” said a choked up Britney.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Fuck no this isn’t fine. Look at me. I’m a fucking bull.” Joey was forced to say, while sticking his tongue out. I briefly stopped his hand from groping my cheek to force it into a biceps flex. He tried to squirm his head away but was ultimately forced to lick it and moan. I huffed and whispered in his ear. “I bet you taste fucking salty, Joey.”
“Babe, what’s wrong? You never talk about your body that-“
Tumblr media
“Brit, just shut the fuck up”. That seemed to shut her up. “Always fucking whining too…” I made Joey huff. The upper half of his head was sobbing now. I forced his free hand back over my ass, and used his other hand to set the call to speaker. “It’s over”.
Joey dropped the phone on the table- still mid call, as I willed his other hand to cup my other cheek. Squeeze. “Fffuuuuck” I moaned. “You’re fucking mine, Joe.” Like his musculature, I commanded my cock into a malleable state, snaking over his, encircling it like a fleshy sleeve. Then, all at once, my red threads of control stirred, as Joey fucked his thick jock dick into my makeshift cocksleeve. “I’m fucking yours”. I made him say. My eyes fluttered in drunken bliss.
“Joey- who is that?”
I felt his head struggle as he tried to stop his body from growing hard. At this, I made sure he had full control of his cock. His plump ass cheeks tightened as his body was forced to thrust into me. I saw him wince, but we both felt the change. Even without me controlling it, his cock stirred to life.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I willed my flesh puppet to answer. “Oh, him? I’ve been fucking him during this call, Brit. That’s how boring you are. Stupid too- we’ve been fucking for months and you never noticed” I make him say it to his reflection as well, topping it with a sleazy grin he never wore. I also made a point to moan, to force him to thrust his hardening dick into me in loud, boisterous grunts. “Fuck. Brit. You. Never. Felt. This. Good”. I make him gasp in between breaths.
“So you’re fucking him, right now?” She asked, now turning to anger.
“Mmph… YES” I let him shout, as I tightened my fleshy trap around his engorged dick and milk his seed dry. To add to the injury, I released control of his mouth at the same time, so in that moment, he felt himself scream bloody pleasure and coat my flesh in his juices.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“YOU’RE FUCKING DEAD TO ME,” Britney shouts, before hanging up.
Perhaps it was due to the pleasure, or the bombardment of his senses, or the sheer perversion of the situation, but Joey’s eyes rolled back to its whites and his head slumped into my shoulder.
I basked in the moment, coated in the sweat and baby batter of Mr. Unattainable. Breathing in sync with his unconscious form. With his head still slung forward, I willed his upright form to give my ass another squeeze. “Take me, bro. I’m your fucking meat puppet. Feel me. Use me. These muscles, this body. It’s all yours. I’m all yours.” I make Joey say. Mr. Unattainable wholly mine.
Tumblr media
I kept him upright, facing the mirror without a care for how sore his post-workout body already was. I made sure he stirred awake, to still see himself playing and groping my fleshy form, bonded together supernaturally by the god of meat. He sobbed silently at our union.
With Joey whimpering and broken, I began to retreat into my original form, letting his arms and legs and chest free. All that connected our two naked bodies now was just a single thread of red. But just one thread was all I seemed to need. I no longer felt resistance from his body, as his sullen face just looked to me with defeat.
I made him reiterate my will. “I’m all yours,” Joey mumbles. I puppetted him to close the distance, and pull my back towards his abs. Joey did not resist as body grinded into mine. He clumsily grabbed my head for a sloppy kiss. And once again, I tasted and experienced something only Brit previously had. His tears smeared into my cheek as I started making him kiss me. My eyes fluttered closed as I was in ecstasy. True pleasure. His lips slowly pried mine open, then the tip of his tongue touching mine. In our deranged intimacy, I savored the taste of Joey’s mouth and of his tongue now forced mine. I didn’t want this to end. Joey’s body pulled back from the kiss and began groping itself, repeating his new mantra. “I’m all yours.”
Still repeating his mantra, my eyes locked with his, before he grabbed the needle from the desk and pricked his hand with it. In that instant, I heard the door unlock.
What were the chances? Another miracle of probability. There was a single late final on campus, for an upper div class that freshmen rarely took. And yet, it seemed there was one freshman that did happen to take such a class.
Just my luck.
Charlie.

A two-parter. Could not for the life of me get usable photos of “Joey” in a compression shirt, so you’re gonna have to use a little imagination for that one haha.

The bear bar
From the end of senior year in high school, Ethan had always been that effortlessly lean guy. His 165-pound frame was defined without being muscular, wiry enough to hint at strength but slim and comfortable. But after graduation, with no workouts scheduled and a lot of freedom to eat what he wanted, he started to change. When college began, his life of convenience foods, late-night snacks, and indulgent weekends quickly became the new normal.
At first, the difference was subtle. He could feel his stomach softening, a small layer of flesh rounding out where his abs once used to be. He’d catch himself adjusting his shirt over the slight swell, aware of a newfound warmth there. When he walked, he could sense an unfamiliar jiggle in his step, a movement that hadn’t been there before. It wasn’t much, but it was there—a gentle reminder that his body was evolving. By the end of freshman year, he’d settled around 180 pounds, and everything just felt… different. His stomach didn’t lie flat anymore, and his thighs brushed together, a new sensation of soft friction with every step. He noticed the way his arms looked rounder in T-shirts and how his jeans pinched a little when he sat down.
He took a job at a local bar, and there, he met Eric—a regular with a sturdy, muscular build who often hung around the bar’s bear crowd. Eric liked big men, which surprised Ethan at first, but he liked it. Eric didn’t just accept Ethan’s softening frame; he reveled in it. With every approving glance and lingering touch, Eric made Ethan aware of each new curve and bulge. When Eric’s hands traced over the small layer of fat that now cushioned Ethan’s waist, Ethan felt something shift in him. The softness was no longer something he ignored; it became something he embraced.
And as his weight edged closer to 200 pounds, he felt that embrace literally. His belly, which now curved forward with a soft heft, became a comforting weight against his shirt. When he sat, he felt it crease into rolls that warmed under his hand when he rested it there, a plushness he’d never felt before. He felt his chest losing its lean shape, softening into a pair of slight curves that moved with him, something Eric loved to press into when they hugged. His arms, once wiry and narrow, began filling out with bulk, the skin rounding, less defined but solid.
With Eric’s encouragement, Ethan started noticing his growing body in new ways. His thighs became so wide and solid that sitting down felt different. They spread out under his weight, each motion coming with a slight, pleasant resistance. He had to adjust his stance just to stay comfortable when standing for long hours at work, which was becoming more of a workout itself as he shifted his weight to accommodate his increasingly sturdy frame.
Sophomore year marked another turning point, as his job at the bar took on a new level of support. Management started encouraging Ethan to show off his gains. The other bartenders went shirtless, but Ethan was shy at first, unsure how his soft middle would be received. But when he took the plunge, the reaction was instant. His once-lean chest had grown into thick, plush mounds that jiggled slightly with each movement, and his belly, round and full, hung over his waistband in a soft, undeniable curve. He felt the way it bounced gently as he moved, how it jostled with the rhythm of his steps, and how he could press into it with his hands, feeling the plushness.
By junior year, Ethan had reached 230 pounds, and every ounce was tangible. His belly, now rounded and protruding, had a warmth to it, a fullness he felt with every step. When he moved quickly, he’d feel it sway slightly, the weight a constant reminder of his changed body. Even his walk had adjusted, a more deliberate pace to handle the new mass in his thighs and belly. His chest had softened further, and when he’d reach across the bar or lift something, he could feel the flesh shift, a satisfying give under his hands, which Eric delighted in.
At work, his body had become part of the atmosphere. He’d occasionally catch sight of his own reflection and be struck by the difference—where he used to stand with lean, angular lines, he now saw a man with broad, thick limbs, his belly a plush focal point under the dim bar lights. When he turned, his sides would press against his shirt, creating small rolls, his arms swinging slightly heavier at his sides. Every movement felt more substantial, each step a reminder of the size he now carried.
By senior year, he’d reached 265 pounds. His belly was now a full, jiggling expanse, hanging forward with a weight he felt with every motion. Sitting down, he’d feel the way it creased and folded into warm rolls, each one a cushioned, soft reminder of his transformation. Standing for long shifts required a stance that allowed his thighs to spread out comfortably, solid and warm under his hands when he adjusted his stance. His arms and chest, too, had thickened, his shirtless form something he’d come to wear proudly as regulars cheered him on.
In the last stretch of college, he reveled in his size. He loved how his body felt as he moved, how each step came with the soft bounce of his belly and the constant warmth of his rounded, fleshy frame. His world had become one where each roll, every jiggle, every fold was cherished—a testament to the years he’d spent growing, expanding, becoming a version of himself he’d never imagined but now wouldn’t trade for anything. With Eric by his side, he knew he’d never stop loving every soft inch.

All the Best People See You (All the Best People Know), Chapter 13
new chapter alert!! if anybody wants to read and leave a comment on the new installment of my season 4 robin/chrissy au then i will blow a kiss your way!!
Eddie can’t imagine it’s going to go well when Chrissy’s mom finally shows up and discovers a drug-dealing super-super-senior metalhead at her daughter’s bedside.
read it on ao3 here
“You doing OK, Ozzy?” Eddie asks when they’re finally alone in her hospital room.
It’s late now, nearly the middle of the night, but they’d been sitting in the emergency room waiting area for a while before a nurse finally came to look at Chrissy’s ankle and bring her back for x-rays. It took even longer for a doctor to check in, for them to send Chrissy to get her cast, but at least they’d let Eddie tag along the whole time. They’d almost let him take her home until someone finally noticed that her file listed her as 17, not 18 like she’d claimed during intake.
Now that they’ve discovered she’s underage, things have gotten a little trickier. Apparently, they need a parent or legal guardian they can release her to — her parent or legal guardian, specifically, though he’d tried to see if he couldn’t swing Wayne for a jailbreak — and a call to the Cunningham home had gone unanswered. Which means they’re probably stuck here ‘til morning at least.
Eddie’s not sure exactly if that’s a bad thing. Seems like Chrissy could use the extra time, maybe. He knows she’d wanted to see his show, had wanted to give all of the guys their posters (and, OK, he’d wanted to sing his song for her, too), but he’s also pretty sure she’d put off going to the hospital specifically to avoid any calls made home.
He doesn’t know what goes on in the Cunningham house. Doesn’t know exactly what makes Chrissy so scared. But the way she lies to her mom — practiced, expert, creative in the way she’d come up with details about workout tapes and salads and absolutely no Jane Fonda — makes it clear that she’s developed some elaborate systems over the years. He’s also noticed the way she seems to go to pieces when those systems fail, the way she’d lost her lunch almost immediately when she found out her mom knew she was lying, when she realized she couldn’t fall back on Jason or her cheer friends as cover.
Eddie can’t imagine it’s going to go well when Chrissy’s mom finally shows up and discovers a drug-dealing super-super-senior metalhead at her daughter’s bedside. Especially since he’s struggling to come up with some sort of helpful story to feed her. They could say she tripped, or fell, had some sort of benign accident that could’ve befallen anyone at any time, but there’s no real getting around the part where none of that would have happened if she hadn’t snuck out. Not unless her mom might somehow buy that Eddie was just driving around Loch Nora when he saw her stumble on her way to get the mail, and that instead of taking her inside to her dad, he’d ferried her away to the hospital without telling anyone. And he’s, uh, pretty sure that isn’t going to cut it.
Even the truth won’t work, Eddie’s sure. It should be enough. Should be some sort of fuck you to snobby suburbia that the guy who broke Chrissy’s leg was a member of the basketball team, presumably one of the few boys Chrissy’s parents trust to hang around their daughter, but Eddie’s sure the fact that it had to do with him and Jason Carver getting into a fistfight means that won’t exactly go over well, either.
At least they’ve got time. Hours still, probably. And the doctors gave Chrissy the good pain meds, so she seems to be feeling OK, something she confirms with a wobbly sort of smile when he squeezes her hand.
“Thanks for staying with me, Eddie,” she says in a quiet voice. “You’re a really good friend.”
“The best even, some might say,” he teases, gentle. “Or at least so I hear.”

Kellin's Continued Journey
After graduation, Kellin threw herself into her new job at the senior living facility, eager to make her mark in the wellness and activities department. She loved spending time with the residents, organizing gentle exercises and social activities. But as much as she enjoyed her work, it left her exhausted by day’s end, and she increasingly looked forward to unwinding with food and drinks on the weekends with friends. Though she’d always been a larger girl, the weight was starting to pile on faster now. By the time she reached nearly 300 pounds, her size was impossible to ignore—not that she was trying to, but every now and then she’d catch herself in a window’s reflection and notice her softer, fuller shape filling more space than she remembered.
Still, Kellin didn’t let it bother her much. She was living life to the fullest, surrounded by close friends, laughing, going out on weekends, and trying to find her footing in her career. But her attempts at romance didn’t go as smoothly. Her first post-college relationship began with enthusiasm. Her boyfriend, Ben, admired her vibrant personality and laughed at her endless appetite for life—and snacks. But soon, he started to hint that maybe they could go to the gym together or try cooking healthier meals at home.
“You know, just for fun,” he’d say with a soft smile, rubbing her shoulder. But she could see the growing concern in his eyes.
Kellin brushed it off at first. “Oh, Ben, you know me—chicken salads just aren’t my style!” she’d say, grinning as she devoured another burger. Yet his nudges grew more frequent, and after months of tension over her lifestyle, Ben finally broke things off, confessing that he wanted “someone who could keep up with him.” The breakup hit her hard; she hadn’t expected to feel so rejected over something as simple as her weight. For the next several weeks, she drowned her heartbreak in food, ordering takeout for every meal, soothing herself with pizzas, burgers, and tubs of ice cream. Her weight climbed swiftly, her body growing softer and rounder, her belly spilling out from under her tops and her thighs straining every pair of pants she owned.
With time, she moved on, eventually meeting Todd at a mutual friend’s party. He seemed completely charmed by her carefree spirit, and their romance was passionate and joyful. But as their relationship deepened, the topic of her weight began to creep in again. Todd didn’t have an issue with her size initially, but as Kellin’s eating habits became more pronounced, he found it harder to ignore. He started to suggest they try hiking on the weekends, even gifting her an expensive set of workout clothes for her birthday. Kellin took his hint reluctantly, though she couldn’t help but feel embarrassed.
“Do I really need this?” she thought, turning in front of the mirror and tugging at the waistband of the leggings. They hugged her belly tightly, the fabric stretched taut across her stomach.
Despite Todd’s encouragement, Kellin struggled to change. One weekend, she convinced herself to go hiking with him, but after the first ten minutes, she was breathless and struggling to keep up. By the time they reached a small lookout point, she felt hot, flushed, and completely out of her element. She leaned against a rock, panting as Todd stood beside her with a look of mild concern.
“Are you sure you’re okay, babe?” he asked, handing her some water.
“Yeah, I just… wasn’t expecting it to be so tough,” she said, forcing a smile but feeling a pang of shame.
Todd gave her a reassuring smile, but after that weekend, their relationship cooled. Eventually, he broke things off, gently explaining that he wanted a partner who shared his active lifestyle. The breakup stung even more than the last. She’d tried to meet him halfway, but it hadn’t been enough. The cycle repeated itself, with Kellin finding solace in food, her weight inching upward as she leaned into the comfort of meals that never judged or left her feeling inadequate.
By the time her next relationship started, Kellin was carrying even more weight, pushing close to 400 pounds. She met Ryan, a kind-hearted man who seemed unfazed by her size and even indulged her love of food. They enjoyed cooking together, trying out new restaurants, and sharing dessert after dessert. But as time passed, Ryan began expressing concern over her health, urging her to consider making some changes. Kellin brushed it off, hoping he’d just accept her as she was. Yet after two years, Ryan, too, eventually ended things, leaving her alone and heartbroken.
After her third breakup, Kellin felt devastated. She stepped onto her bathroom scale, blinking in shock as the numbers flashed a staggering 400 pounds. It was the heaviest she’d ever been, and for the first time, she felt a twinge of genuine worry. “Maybe they were right,” she thought, biting her lip. “Maybe I need to get back to my old self.”
Determined to make a change, she vowed to lose weight, even creating a list of goals and meal plans. As Kellin sat in her kitchen, staring at a meticulously laid-out meal plan on her phone, she tried to hype herself up, repeating the promises she’d made to herself. “I can do this,” she whispered. “No more takeout, no more junk food. Just real, healthy meals and exercise.” She forced a determined smile, but doubt crept in as she looked at the plain grilled chicken and steamed vegetables she’d prepped for her dinner.
The first few days were tolerable. She choked down salads, skipped snacks, and kept her portions small. She even began to find pride in her self-control. “Look at me,” she’d think, glancing at her reflection in her kitchen window, “finally doing something about all this.” Her clothes felt slightly looser, and she could even make it up a flight of stairs without gasping for air. But deep down, she missed the food she used to indulge in, the comfort it brought, the easy pleasure it provided.
By the end of the second week, the cravings were relentless. Each evening, she found herself standing in the kitchen, trying to stave off the urge to open the pantry. She’d catch herself lingering over the takeout app on her phone, imagining the taste of her favorite cheesy pizzas, gooey brownies, and ice-cold beer. The healthy meals she’d prepped suddenly felt bland and unsatisfying, like they were just shadows of the meals she actually craved.
One evening, after a particularly stressful day at work, she came home exhausted. Her stomach growled loudly, reminding her that she hadn’t eaten much that day. She looked at the container of salad she’d packed but felt a deep, aching emptiness, one that the greens and lean protein wouldn’t satisfy. “What’s one little cheat meal?” she reasoned with herself, her voice barely a whisper. “I’ve been doing so well… just one treat.”
With a shaky hand, she reached for her phone and opened the takeout app. Her finger hovered over the order button, guilt gnawing at her. But in the end, hunger and habit won out. She ordered a large pepperoni pizza, justifying it with the thought, I can always restart tomorrow.
When the food arrived, the smell was intoxicating, filling her small apartment with warmth and spices. The moment she took her first bite, all her hesitation melted away. The taste was electric—rich, cheesy, salty goodness that she’d been depriving herself of. Before she realized it, she’d eaten half the pizza, the hunger and stress of the week seeming to fuel her appetite. She didn’t stop there, though; the satisfaction of the familiar food only heightened her cravings.
As she polished off the last slice, a rush of regret washed over her. Her hands rested on her belly, which felt heavier and tighter than ever, stretched from her indulgence. “Oh, God,” she muttered, leaning back, hand pressing against her stomach as if that would ease the discomfort. What did I just do?
But that night turned out to be a tipping point. The next day, she tried to reset, forcing herself through another day of salads and self-control. But the cycle of guilt and craving persisted, and by the weekend, she gave in again—this time with takeout burgers, a carton of fries, and two large milkshakes.
Kellin felt like she was spinning out of control, each day punctuated by her promise to do better, only to end in another late-night binge. She’d tried to distract herself, going for walks and looking up new recipes, but the allure of her old habits was too strong. It felt like food had become her best friend, her main source of comfort. Her friends had noticed her dieting attempts but weren’t surprised when she stopped talking about them, sensing that her motivation had faded.
Eventually, Kellin stopped pretending she was dieting at all. She returned to her usual routine, giving in to her cravings and returning to the foods she loved. It didn’t take long for her weight to balloon again, her body expanding beyond anything she’d imagined. The pounds piled on, and as her clothes grew tighter, she found herself back where she’d started, unable—and perhaps unwilling—to resist the comfort of food.
One Friday night, after a particularly rough week, she caved. “I’ll just order one pizza,” she told herself, calling her favorite place for a large supreme. When it arrived, the smell was intoxicating, and after the first bite, all her resolve melted away. She devoured slice after slice, barely pausing, savoring the cheesy, greasy goodness she’d denied herself for so long.
But the pizza wasn’t enough. She found herself reaching for the gallon of ice cream she’d bought “just in case,” spooning mouthful after mouthful, the cold sweetness flooding her senses. She could feel her stomach growing heavier, straining against her sweatpants, but she couldn’t stop. As the night wore on, she cracked open a case of beer, downing can after can, reveling in the indulgence.
When she finally finished, she slumped back on the couch, her belly stretched taut and aching. She rested her hands on the heavy swell of her stomach, feeling its warmth and weight pressing against her. Her waistband dug into her skin, and she let out a soft, pained groan, the realization of her loss of control sinking in.
“What have I done?” she whispered, pressing her hands against her belly, which seemed to fill her entire lap. The satisfaction of the feast lingered, but with it came a wave of resignation. She’d tried to change, but the familiar comforts of food had won out.
As Kellin’s weight continued to grow past 500 pounds, her body took on a roundness and softness that seemed to expand outward in every direction, transforming her into a presence that was almost larger than life. Each part of her figure held new curves, folds, and dimensions, making her the very embodiment of fullness and abundance.
Her belly, which was now the most prominent feature of her body, hung heavily over her lap. When she sat, it spilled over her knees, a large, warm expanse of skin and softness that pooled against her thighs and rose with each deep breath. The weight of it was impossible to ignore; she could feel its gravity pulling downward whenever she moved, a comforting but undeniable reminder of her size. The skin stretched taut in places, crisscrossed by deep stretch marks that trailed along the curve of her belly, some fading into pinks while newer marks held a rich purple hue. Her belly button had transformed into a soft, cavernous dimple, nestled within the folds, becoming a small hidden feature within the vast landscape of her stomach.
Her thighs had expanded into enormous pillars of flesh, pressing firmly together even when she was seated. They were thick and rounded, each thigh almost as wide as her waist had once been, and they filled any space around her, pressing outward so that sitting on benches or chairs without armrests was often her only option. Her thighs brushed together constantly, creating a gentle friction with each step. Walking required deliberate, slow movements, as the weight of her thighs and belly forced her to sway side to side to keep her balance. Her lower legs were softer and thickened as well, with a slight puffiness around her ankles that added to the gentle, padded look of her body.
Her rear had grown broad and plush, spreading out wide whenever she sat, cushioning her in a way that often left chairs creaking beneath her weight. Each cheek was round and full, with soft dimples and folds that shifted depending on how she sat or moved. When she stood up, her backside would press against whatever surface was behind her, filling the space entirely. Even her hips had broadened to the point where they jutted out from her sides, creating a sweeping, curvaceous frame that filled any doorway she passed through.
Her arms had thickened, each upper arm rounded with soft rolls that cascaded down from her shoulders. When she reached out, the weight of her arms caused a subtle sway beneath, and her sleeves clung tightly to the plushness of her biceps, making her carefully select blouses with wider, forgiving sleeves. Her forearms were thick and softly padded, and even her wrists had developed a slight puffiness that gave her hands a gentle, cushiony appearance.
Her face had softened considerably, framed by a full, rounded jawline that now held a double chin which deepened whenever she smiled or looked down. Her cheeks were plump and flushed, giving her an almost cherubic look, with a softness that made her features look kind and approachable. Her neck had thickened as well, blending seamlessly into her shoulders, giving her an appearance of softness that radiated throughout her entire form.
As she grew, her clothing options became more limited. She was drawn to flowing tunics and maxi dresses, garments that offered room for her generous figure. Even the most oversized dresses stretched over her belly and hips, the fabric clinging and outlining every curve and fold. Her belly had become so prominent that it sometimes caused her dresses to ride up slightly in the front, leaving her constantly adjusting them to ensure they covered her properly. She’d given up on jeans and fitted pants entirely; even the largest sizes felt restrictive, and the waistband would dig into her hips and stomach uncomfortably. Leggings were her only option for anything snug, though even those grew stretched and sheer over her thighs and rear.
Simple tasks became a journey in and of themselves. She’d feel her weight shifting as she moved, her body rolling and swaying in gentle waves that created a sensation of fullness she had grown accustomed to. Standing up required her to brace herself and rise slowly, feeling the heft of her belly settle into place once she was on her feet. She was often out of breath from the simplest of activities, and even short walks left her chest rising and falling heavily as she caught her breath. The sensation of fullness, of softness, was something she carried with her constantly, a physical reminder of her journey and the way she had come to embody every inch of her body’s transformation.
For Kellin, there was a strange pride in the size she had reached. She’d abandoned the self-consciousness of her earlier years, embracing her shape and presence fully. She may have been physically limited, her clothes may have been tight, and her body may have demanded more space with each passing month, but she found a quiet, unspoken joy in the freedom of accepting her body exactly as it was.

the zhu-vatore family: lily's in-game dialogue
I'm having a lot of fun dressing up premades in historical costumes & making relatives for them. I'm not really paying much attention to any sort of in-game canon/time period, but I did draw from Lily's dialogue from Werewolves to guide me when I created the extended Zhu-Vatore family. Lily has a lot to say about her cousins and most people haven’t seen it all, so I extracted all of her lines using S4Studio. You can download all of the strings from Werewolves on SFS (this includes every other character's dialogue + book descriptions etc)
tl;dr Caleb/Lilith and Lily are first cousins through their mothers. They were close as children until they all transformed. They are all at least as old as Lily looks, and are quite possibly much older. Just not as old as Kristopher Volkov.
lily's dialogue:
"When I was a child, I was very close with my cousins, Caleb and Lilith Vatore. Our mothers were sisters, and we spent most of our childhoods together. Lilith always had a dark side, but Caleb was a gentle soul."
"I remember when my cousin, Lilith, first told me she'd met a fascinating man named Vlad. After that, she started spending a lot of time "training" with him. I thought she meant they were workout buddies. It wasn't until later that I found out she'd been lured to the dark arts." [sidenote - i think it's hilarious that lilith is such a god damn jock that lily's mind immediately went to "workout buddy"]
"We were young when my cousins Caleb and Lilith were turned into vampires. Lilith was turned by Vlad, and Caleb by Miss Hell. Vlad came for me as well, but I hid in the underground tunnels—which is how my own transformation, of a different nature, came about. I stayed there, half feral, and I tried to make it work with my cousins when they visited. After I discovered Moonwood Mill and my pack, I learned that they'd officially moved to Forgotten Hollow. It's upsetting."
"After I was turned into a Werewolf, things with my cousins, Lilith and Caleb, were never the same again. I'd already felt they were changing under Vlad's influence too quickly, but after my own transformation, there was something natural that pushed us apart. More than anything, I want to rekindle the relationship we had as children."
"I was older by the time I met Kristopher and learned to control my powers. That's why I'm elderly and he isn't, despite him being my senior. I struggled to determine if I should pursue immortality or not. After thinking about it, the answer was clear. I have unfinished business with my cousins. Perhaps once that's settled, I can rest."
"Not all Werewolves feel this way, but I don't enjoy the Full Moon. I spent too much of my life out of control. When the full moon rises, it reminds me of those times. Truthfully, I'd be cured if I could, but I'm not sure that I'd ever see Caleb or Lilith again if I did. I'm too old without my abilities to keep me alive."

Types Of Yoga: A Guide To 11 Different Styles
Yoga is a practice that originated in ancient India and has been around for thousands of years. It encompasses a wide variety of physical and mental practices, including postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), and meditation. The word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit word "Yuj" which means "to join" or "to unite" and refers to the union of the individual self with the universal self.
Yoga is often associated with physical postures, or asanas, which are designed to improve flexibility, strength, and balance. However, yoga is also a holistic practice that includes breathing exercises, meditation, and philosophy. The ultimate goal of yoga is to achieve a state of inner peace and harmony.
Yoga is a low-impact practice that is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. It is known for its ability to reduce stress and improve overall well-being. It has been found to be beneficial for conditions such as anxiety, depression, and chronic pain. Additionally, yoga can improve flexibility, balance, and muscle strength, which can help to prevent falls in older adults.

11 Different Types of Yoga
Yoga is a practice that has been around for thousands of years and has evolved into many different styles. Here is a guide to 11 different types of yoga that you may encounter on your yoga journey:
Hatha Yoga: Hatha yoga is a traditional form of yoga that emphasizes physical postures and breathing exercises. It's a great option for beginners as it is a slow-paced and gentle form of yoga. The postures are often held for a longer period of time, which helps to improve flexibility and balance.
Vinyasa Yoga: Also known as "flow" yoga, this style emphasizes fluid movement between poses, often coordinated with breath. It can be a more physically demanding practice and is suitable for those who are looking for a more challenging workout.
Ashtanga Yoga: Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic and physically demanding form of yoga that follows a specific sequence of postures. It's known for its intense, cardio-like benefits and is suitable for those who are looking for a more intense workout.
Bikram Yoga: This style of yoga is practiced in a room heated to 105 degrees Fahrenheit and is known for its intense heat and humidity. It's a physically demanding practice that focuses on a series of 26 postures and is not recommended for beginners or those with health conditions.
Iyengar Yoga: Iyengar yoga emphasizes proper alignment and the use of props like blocks and straps. It is suitable for all levels and can be beneficial for seniors and people with injuries. The focus on alignment helps to prevent injuries and improve overall balance.
Kundalini Yoga: Kundalini yoga focuses on awakening the energy at the base of the spine through a combination of postures, breathing exercises, and meditation. This style of yoga is known for its emphasis on spiritual and energetic aspects of yoga.
Restorative Yoga: Restorative yoga is a gentle form of yoga that uses props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks to support the body and help you relax. It is a restful practice that can reduce stress and anxiety and is suitable for all levels.
Yin Yoga: Yin yoga is a slow-paced practice that focuses on stretching the deep connective tissues and fascia of the body. It is often held for several minutes, which can be challenging for some. This practice is great for improving flexibility and balancing the body's energy.
Power Yoga: Power yoga is a fast-paced, physically demanding practice that is inspired by Ashtanga yoga. It often includes strength-building postures and cardio-like sequences. It is suitable for those who are looking for a challenging and intense workout.
Aerial Yoga: Aerial yoga uses a hammock or aerial silk to support the body during yoga postures. It is a fun and challenging practice that improves strength, balance, and flexibility.
Yoga Nidra: Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation practice where one is guided through a series of visualizations and body awareness exercises. It is often done in a seated or lying down position and is known for its ability to reduce stress and improve overall well-being.
As you can see, there are many different styles of yoga to choose from. Each style has its own unique benefits and focus. It's important to consult with a qualified instructor and listen to your body to choose the style that is best for you. And remember, the most important thing is to enjoy the practice and find the one that you connect with.
Conclusion
yoga is a practice that has evolved into many different styles, each with its own unique benefits and focus. From gentle and traditional Hatha yoga to the physically demanding Ashtanga and Power yoga, there's a style for everyone. If you're new to yoga, a gentle class like Hatha or Restorative yoga is a great place to start. If you're looking for a more challenging workout, Vinyasa or Power yoga might be more suitable. Iyengar yoga with its focus on alignment is beneficial for seniors and people with injuries. Kundalini yoga focuses on the spiritual and energetic aspects of yoga. Aerial and Yoga Nidra are less traditional styles but are known for their fun and relaxation benefits respectively. It's important to consult with a qualified instructor and listen to your body to choose the style that is best for you. Remember, the most important thing is to enjoy the practice and find the one that you connect with.

I have some guided movement recommendations!
Julie Hunter’s movement_with_me on Instagram is a great resource for low-energy movement/exercise strategy. Julie was bedbound with ME/CFS following a COVID infection, and she used her experience as an athletic coach to figure out ways to reintroduce tiny doses of movement into her schedule, interspersed with purposeful rest, in such an effective way that she is now effectively cured and has returned to her pre-COVID baseline. She offers paid personalized movement coaching, wherein she creates a flexible multi-week schedule for clients to follow. Her Instagram account is a totally free treasure trove of advice, and if you scroll back a ways you’ll find videos demonstrating very simple starter exercises with a range of adaptations for different levels of ability.
Justin Agustin has an Instagram account and a YouTube channel full of “gentle functional exercises for everyday life,” including lots of workouts for beginners, seniors, and people living very sedentary lives. Many of his videos demonstrate techniques for beginners alongside a more advanced option, and he heavily stresses to only do what you are able to instead of pushing yourself further and potentially getting hurt. There are also paid versions of his work — a website and an app — with monthly challenges and a nutrition guide (and possibly more, but I haven’t used the paid version so idk).
And a guided flexibility recommendation!
David Thurin’s movementbydavid account on Instagram is all about gaining and maintaining flexibility through both active and passive stretching. He is incredibly flexible now, but he frequently mentions that it didn’t come naturally to him: He has consistently put time and effort into becoming more flexible, and you can do it too! Being flexible helps prevent injury, and, like fitness, is something you have to work to maintain and will lose if you don’t put in that work. Also like fitness, it’s something you can get better at, even starting from scratch.
All three of these people emphasize that you can follow their videos without special equipment, using things you probably already have (like a chair, a wall, a counter, and weights like a water bottle or can of food).
A lot of younger people have no idea what aging actually looks and feels like, and the reasons behind it. That ignorance is so dangerous. If you don’t want to “be old,” you aren’t talking about a number of years. I have patients in their late 80s who could still handily beat me in a race—one couple still runs marathons together, in their late 80s—and I lost someone who was in her early 60s to COPD last year. What you want is not youth, it is health.
If you want to still be able to enjoy doing things in your 60s and 70s and 80s and even 90s, what you want to do, right now, is quit smoking, get some activity on a regular basis (a couple of walks a week is WAY better for you than nothing; increasing from 1 hour a day of cardio to 1.5 will buy you very little), and eat some plants. That’s it. No magic to it. No secret weird tricks. Don’t poison yourself, move around so your body doesn’t forget how, and eat plants.
If you have trouble moving around now because of mobility limitations, bad news: you still need to move around, not because it’s immoral not to, but because that’s still the best advice we have. I highly recommend looking up the Sit and Be Fit series; it is freely available and has exercises that can be done in a chair, which are suitable for people with limited mobility or poor balance. POTS sufferers, I’m looking at you.
If you have trouble eating plants because of dietary issues (they cause gas, etc.) or just because they’re bitter (super taster with texture issues here!), bad news. You still want to find a way to get some plants into your body on a regular basis. I know. It sucks. The only way I can do it is restaurants—they can make salads taste like food. I can also tolerate some bagged salads. On bad weeks, the OCD with contamination focus gets so bad I just can’t. However, canned beans always seem “safe,” and they taste a bit like candy, so they’re a good fallback.
If you smoke and you have tried quitting a million times and you’re just not ready to, bad news. You still need to quit. Your body needs you to try and keep trying. Your brain needs it, too. Damaging small blood vessels racks up cumulative damage over time that your body can start trying to reverse as soon as you quit. I know it’s insanely, absurdly addictive. You still need to.
You cannot rules lawyer your way past your body’s basic needs. It needs food, sleep, activity, and the absence of poison. Those are both small things and big asks. You cannot sustain a routine based on punishment, so don’t punish your body. Find ways to include these things that are enjoyable and rewarding instead. Experiment. There is no reason not to experiment—you don’t have to know instantly what’s going to work for you and what won’t, you just need to be willing to try things and make changes when things aren’t working for you.
You will still age. Your body will stop making collagen and elastin. Tissues you can see and tissues you can’t see will both sag. Cushioning tissues under your skin will get thinner. You’ll bruise more easily. Skin will tear more easily. Accumulated sun damage will start to show more and more. Joints will begin to show arthritis. Tendons and ligaments will get weaker and get injured more easily, as will muscles. Bones will lose mass and get easier to break. You’ll get tired more easily.
But you know what makes the difference between being dead, or as good as, in your 60s vs your 90s? Activity, plants, and quitting smoking. And don’t do meth. Saw a 58-year-old guy this week who is going to have a heart attack if he doesn’t quit whatever stimulant he’s on. I pretended to believe it was just the cigarettes, and maybe it is, but meth and cocaine will kill you quicker. Stop poisoning yourself.
Baby steps; take it one step at a time; you don’t need to have everything figured out right now. But you do need to be working on figuring things out.

Why Chase Pro Dog Treadmill Is a Game-Changer for Australian Pets
As pet owners, we want to ensure that our dogs stay active, healthy, and happy. Regular exercise is key to a dog’s overall well-being, and while outdoor walks are great, they’re not always an option due to weather, busy schedules, or other factors. That’s where dog treadmills Australia come into play. In Australia, the demand for dog treadmills is growing, and one brand standing out is Chase Pro. In this blog, we’ll dive into why dog treadmills are becoming a must-have for Australian pet owners and how Chase Pro is quickly becoming the brand of choice for keeping dogs fit and entertained indoors.
The Rising Popularity of Dog Treadmills in Australia
Australia is known for its active outdoor lifestyle, but there are many reasons why dog treadmills have gained significant popularity in recent years. From the urban hustle of Melbourne to the rural expanses of Queensland, more and more pet owners are turning to dog treadmills to ensure their dogs receive adequate exercise, even when outdoor conditions aren’t ideal.
1. Convenience and Flexibility for Busy Owners
In today’s fast-paced world, finding time to take your dog for a long walk or run every day can be difficult. A dog treadmill offers a convenient solution, especially for those with busy work schedules or families. With a treadmill at home, you can provide your dog with consistent exercise whenever you have time—whether that’s in the early morning, during a lunch break, or late at night.
2. Ideal for Dogs with High Energy Levels
Some breeds, such as Border Collies, Huskies, and Labrador Retrievers, have boundless energy that requires constant stimulation. A dog treadmill allows these high-energy dogs to burn off excess energy even when outdoor activities are limited. In Australia’s urban environments, where space can be tight, a treadmill offers a reliable outlet for your dog’s pent-up energy.
3. Perfect for Hot or Wet Weather
Australia’s weather can be unpredictable, and extreme heat during summer or torrential rain can make it unsafe or impractical to walk your dog outside. A dog treadmill ensures that your pet gets their daily exercise, rain or shine, no matter what the weather is like. This is particularly important for active dogs that need regular movement to stay healthy.
4. Great for Obese Dogs and Senior Pets
Older dogs or those struggling with weight issues may find it difficult to go on long walks or runs. A dog treadmill provides a low-impact solution that helps them stay mobile and active without straining their joints. Many treadmills, including models from Chase Pro, are designed to be gentle on your pet’s body while still offering an effective workout.

Why Chase Pro Dog Treadmills Stand Out in the Australian Market
When it comes to choosing the best dog treadmill for your pet, you want something that is durable, easy to use, and most importantly—safe for your dog. This is where Chase Pro excels. Known for their quality craftsmanship and advanced features, Chase Pro dog treadmills are fast becoming the go-to choice for Australian pet owners.
1. Built for Durability and Longevity
A dog treadmill should be able to handle your pet’s weight, movements, and daily exercise demands. Chase Pro treadmills are engineered with heavy-duty materials that ensure long-term durability. Whether you have a small dog or a larger breed, Chase Pro treadmills are designed to last, even through the most intense workouts.
2. Versatility with Adjustable Speed and Incline
One of the standout features of the Chase Pro dog treadmill is its ability to adjust speed and incline. Whether you want to simulate outdoor conditions like uphill terrain or offer your dog a gentle walk, Chase Pro gives you complete control over the intensity of your dog’s workout. This level of customization is ideal for creating a balanced exercise routine that suits your dog’s fitness level and needs.
3. User-Friendly Controls
For many pet owners, using a treadmill for the first time can be intimidating. Chase Pro makes it easy to get started with a simple, intuitive interface. The treadmill is equipped with easy-to-use controls that allow you to quickly set the speed and time, and monitor your dog’s progress. There’s no complicated setup—just plug it in, and you’re ready to go.
4. Safety Features for Peace of Mind
Safety is a top priority when it comes to dog exercise equipment, and Chase Pro ensures that your pet’s well-being is always a consideration. The treadmill comes equipped with emergency stop buttons, side rails, and harness attachments to keep your dog safe throughout their workout. This gives pet owners peace of mind while ensuring their dogs are secure during use.
5. Space-Saving Design for Small Homes
Not all Australian homes have the space for large gym equipment. Chase Pro treadmills are designed with compactness in mind, making them a great fit for homes with limited space. Many models are foldable, allowing you to easily store the treadmill when it’s not in use. This makes it an ideal choice for apartment living or smaller homes.
6. Affordability without Compromise on Quality
When compared to other high-end dog treadmill brands, Chase Pro offers excellent value for money. While still delivering top-notch quality and advanced features, Chase Pro manages to keep prices competitive, making it accessible to a broader range of dog owners in Australia.
The Health Benefits of Dog Treadmills
Regular exercise is essential for maintaining your dog’s physical and mental health. While outdoor activities are important, a dog treadmill Australia provides a controlled environment where your dog can exercise safely. Here are some key health benefits:
1. Supports Cardiovascular Health
Just like humans, regular exercise is essential for maintaining a dog’s heart health. Walking or running on a dog treadmill can improve your dog’s cardiovascular fitness, helping to lower the risk of heart disease and other health conditions.
2. Weight Management and Obesity Prevention
Obesity is a growing concern for dogs worldwide, and in Australia, more pets are becoming overweight due to sedentary lifestyles. Using a dog treadmill regularly helps burn calories, manage weight, and prevent obesity-related health issues such as diabetes, joint pain, and fatigue.
3. Mental Stimulation
Exercise is not just about physical health—it also provides vital mental stimulation. Dogs that don’t get enough physical activity can become bored, anxious, and destructive. A dog treadmill helps alleviate these issues by providing a structured outlet for energy, reducing anxiety, and improving your dog’s overall mood.
4. Maintains Joint Health
For senior dogs or dogs with arthritis, low-impact exercise on a treadmill can be beneficial. Chase Pro treadmills offer adjustable speed settings that allow you to control the intensity of your dog’s workout, helping to improve mobility and maintain muscle strength without putting undue stress on their joints.
Tips for Getting Your Dog Started on the Treadmill
Introducing your dog to a treadmill can take some time, but with patience and positive reinforcement, your dog will soon enjoy their indoor workout sessions. Here are some tips for getting started:
1. Introduce Gradually
Start by letting your dog get familiar with the treadmill while it’s off. Allow them to explore the machine and get comfortable with its presence. Once they’re relaxed, turn the treadmill on at a very low speed to help them acclimate to the movement.
2. Use Positive Reinforcement
Praise and rewards are essential for making the experience enjoyable. Use treats, toys, or praise to reward your dog after each successful treadmill session. This will help them associate the treadmill with positive experiences.
3. Monitor Your Dog’s Progress
Always keep an eye on your dog while they’re on the treadmill. Watch for signs of fatigue, discomfort, or stress, and adjust the speed and duration of the workout accordingly. Gradually increase the intensity as your dog becomes more accustomed to the treadmill.
