hey all! I haven't written an update in a long time! This morning i started my day with a 30 minute cardio-strength workout and i'm glad i had the willpower to get up at 9am and do it. I'm at lunch right now having an omelette 😍 I've been doing mindfulness meditations and getting better at that. I think i get too worked up over calories. I mean, it's good to track what you eat, but I think i psych myself out. THE BEST NEWS is i'm back on my antidepressant and anxiety medications!!! The biggest thing with that is my energy and motivation levels so hopefully i can get stuff DONE. Especially with finals and final projects coming up, it's all coming up very quick 😰 here's to may! @adazedlife

I let you guys know that I wasn't going to be doing weeklies anymore so here is my May monthly! cheers to 5 months! I know I'd be able to push through this last little bit of fat if I changed my diet but it's been really difficult. @supernaturalsaxophonist

Sorry everyone for the lack of updates!
I’ve been staying on track with daily water consumption and have been slightly inactive. I’ve still been working out every day but have noticed this week that I’ve been doing 20 minute routines (plus 5 min warm up and 10 min cool downs). Still. I’ve been feeling a little lazy.
Pushed myself back into it this morning with a 25 minute HIIT workout from Fitness Blender! Also exceeding my usual schedule to stay on track for my gallon a day.
How is everyone else doing?

Did a powerhouse cardio workout this morning! 30 mins and SO MUCH sweat! Really made me feel empowered because I’ve been lacking in energy this week due to my subpar diet and crazy stressed because I am in the beginning stages of creating my own business! I’ve missed 2 days this week to workout but am hoping I can find time in the madness, maybe while baby takes a nap??
I have definitely continued my gallon a day though!
I hope everyone is doing well!

FEELING SO GOOD
So last thursday I knew that I wouldnt be able to work out the next day so I really did push myself and did two 40 minute workouts!! It was great.
Aside from that, I ate kinda poorly this weekend but did maintain my gallon a day.
TODAY THOUGH
I drank a gallon of water! I ate pretty healthily (banana breakfast, granola bars, black bean chili, and...well..pizza) but I did a full 60 minute cardio BOXING workout. It kicked my butt but I literally did the full hour! No breaks. No modifications (until the last 4 minutes). THEN I felt so good this evening that I just finished a 40 minute cardio ab workout from fitness blender.
I LOVE loving myself. I love putting as much energy into myself as I do others. Feeling good about myself makes me feel good about other things in my life and all I want to do is go further.
Freaking 60 minutes and 40 minutes. 100 minutes is the most that I’ve done in a day (I think).
Yay. @supernaturalsaxophonist

April 3rd
I just got back from a mission trip, where every day i was working on a house. So no formal exercise, but my muscles felt sore every day. I came home and did a strength workout and it was easier than it was before the trip. I started trying to count calories over the trip, because i'm sick and tired of not losing ANY weight so it's gotta be calories in v calories out. When i started counting on the trip, i realized even when i was trying to eat well, i was still eating 2000+ calories a day. Yeah i worked a lot, but i still managed to gain like 3 pounds while i was there. :( The week before the trip i wasn't working out at all, so i NEED to get back into that, with at least 30 minutes a day. Mostly cardio/HIIT because i already have muscles and need to burn off the thick layers of fat around them. I'm sick and tired of being fat and it'll stop no matter what it takes. Maybe i'll get to a point where i'm doing as well as @adazedlife, who i've surely disappointed because i can never stick to something :( I definitely haven't been committed to a lifestyle change since the beginning of the year. But, Now, i'm doing a diet and exercise program at my school called 6 weeks to the beach, where i meet up with a nutritionist once a week to see what i've been doing. I get so much anxiety over how much food i eat because i've literally never lost weight. all i ever do is gain. I'm going for 1200 net cals a day (net as in if i do a 300 calorie workout i can have 1500 cals all together) because that's about 500 below my BMR. I.E., to maintain weight if i did nothing. It's hard but i'll do it. I'm purchasing an appetite suppressant that has almost all 5-star ratings on amazon from verified purchasers. On top of that, i'm not quite in shape to do more than this, so i'm gonna work out 30 minutes 5-6 days a week. If i stick to the calories, that should be plenty. I'm absolutely drowned in the way i feel about my body, and i will go to any and all lengths to be happy about it for once.

I’ve been keeping on track with my goals! Did a 30 minute toning routing this morning and am behind schedule with my water for the day. I usually like to have had a gallon before I leave work, but I will just need to chug-chug-chug at home this evening!
I am making very exciting advancements in my life recently and am so so so excited to begin this new journey. I am preparing myself with all the necessary and recommended training, knowledge, etc!!
I did not exercise, Friday, however... I did not realize that the cleaning crew would be at the office on Fridays from now on. I will HAVE to force myself to workout Thursday evenings to compensate, or again on Saturdays along with my usual daily routine.

I literally can’t even believe that April is almost over. I sound like such an old lady but time FLIES BY. I’m shook. I can’t even grasp that it’s ALMOST MAY.
Today I did a 30 minute low impact (not low effort or low sweat, let me tell you) workout from popsugar. Feeling good. Wearing my favorite dress and feelling really good in it.
On track for my goal of a gallon today and so far I’ve eaten a bagel thin.
Hoping for an A+ day.

Fitness/21 day challenge
I think the reason a lot of people fail at new year's resolutions is because 365 days is a long ass time. That being said, i heard from a nutritionist at my school that it takes 21 days to form a habit. 3 weeks. So, i'm going to work out and write down what i did every single day for 3 weeks straight. No breaks- my rest day will be yoga. (Saturdays) On top of that ill be counting my calories as well. I can do this!

WELCOME TO THE FOURTH MONTH
I feel GREAT knowing that I have stayed true to myself and my goals so far this year. Entering a new month always reinvigorates and remotivates me to do well and to keep going!
Gabe and I have been working out together! Which has been AWESOME because we’ve been trying to find a way that he can feel better about himself while overcoming the daunting task of actually getting up and moving. It seemed like one day he just woke up and was READY to do this!
Because of this new routine of ours, I work out as I have been for between 30 and 40 minutes in the morning and then again at night once we’ve put Jacie to sleep.
I’ve been feeling so so great.
Going off of that, my lack of everything remained true for my rest days this weekend. Kinda ate poorly and hardly drank anything. But last week and today I’ve continued working out and drinking my gallon a day!
Last night Gabe and I did 15 minutes of abs and moved onto a 30 minute boxing workout and MAN that was fun and painful and everything all at the same time.

April 11th~Fitness
I'm feeling good today. I'm feeling mindful about my emotions, and i've been working out every day excluding last Friday for the past two weeks. I feel stronger, just walking around campus and up stairs and stuff without getting winded. I can even have sex for longer without my legs and abs getting tired. Yesterday i had 1700 calories which in and of itself isn't horrible but i'm trying to make up for the weekend where i probably consumed 1000 calories in alcohol two nights in a row (and i literally mean like 3-4 drinks.. you'd be surprised) but yeah. i'm getting better at working out even when i REALLY don't feel like it especially since spring has sprung and it's hot now. (i don't have AC) I'm trying really hard to stick to my 6 weeks to the beach program for school, where they think one of my main problems is not keeping a strict schedule and therefore not sleeping right and being stressed. Sleep effects weight a lot and i have a lot of sleep problems. Being an adult and making your own schedule is harder than it seems. it's taken me 3 years (and however much longer it takes) for me to get used to it. Here's hoping i stick to my calories and water and exercise and someday... SOMEDAY... have a body that i can like and be proud of. @adazedlife

April 11
It must be close to that time of the month because my thoughts and emotions are all over the place. I feel stuck in life right now. I want to be more and do more than I’m doing right now and while I love my job and routine, I know that I will not be able to move up staying here.
I need to go back to school but can’t afford it so I’m hoping that something miraculous happens so that I can.
This morning I only worked out for like 15 minutes. Just felt a little low and couldn’t bring myself to finish. However, I did go on a 2 mile walk (enjoying the beautiful weather) and am on track for my gallon for the day.
Hope everyone does well and makes themselves happy today!

Plans
I talked to a nutritionist at school today about my weight gain, and we came up with some ideas. Once break is over, i'm going to stick to a schedule as best as i can. This will kill pretty much all the birds with one stone- i'll always have time to study, to work out, to eat 3 meals a day, and to get into a normal sleep pattern. I want to start by setting aside at least a half hour every day for working out. if i keep my room clean, i can do it in my room. If i work out 30 minutes 5 days, I can get the recommended 150 minutes a week. I want to work on my meals to get down to the bare minimum i need to stay healthy (about 1,200-1,400 calories a day) which doesn't sound too hard but i've never managed to stick to it. If i can stick to that, i'll see the weight fall right off. That being said, i'm going to take a multivitamin every day so i don't lose nutrients cutting my calories close to in half. Aiming for 80 oz of water a day (slightly more than half my weight in ounces, 4 20-oz water bottles) which isn't too hard. And no drinks with calories outside of fruit juice. VERY OCCASIONAL on the alcohol. And then, choose mixed drinks with 100% fruit juice and water as the mixer. If i put aside time to study every day, nothing will sneak up on me. If i have a huge take home project, i can do like, 2 questions a day. I've always wanted to get into that habit and i hope to keep it if i stick to a schedule. I've always said "i'm someone who needs a lot of sleep", so i'm aiming for 9 hours. 11 to 8. i know it won't be perfect, but that's my goal. I believe i can do this! @adazedlife

I'm feeling so unsatisfied, like I'm longing for something more in my days. Beyond my emotions, my weekend went well. Was very active but did not complete any workouts. Didnt stick to a gallon a day. So far today I did a 15 minute booty burn workout along with a 20 minute low impact workout from fitness blender. Helping myself ease into the week. I hate Mondays. @supernaturalsaxophonist

April 7
I apologize for not posting as frequently this week! But do not worry! A lack of posts definitely HAS NOT meant a lack of activity.
Really, this week, I ate pretty well. I did struggle to make it to my gallon goal. I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve been bloated... not really sure.
I made it to a gallon 3 of 5 days. (Today would be 3 and I’m keeping on schedule so far)
AS FOR EXERCISE!!!!!!!
I am so so so so so so so so so thrilled to have been pushing myself to working out for at least 30 minutes..... TWICE A DAY! What it ends up being is between an hour and 1.5 hours a day.
I’ve encouraged Gabe to workout with me and I think he’s falling down that slippery slope but I’m trying! I tend to keep my strength/ toning workouts in the morning so that we can both do cardio in the evening. Of course, I intermingle cardio amongst most workouts and the other day I even strived for a 1.5 hour 1,000 Calorie BURN OUT workout in celebration of Fitness Blender’s 2 million subscribers (or something).
All in all, I think it’s been a pretty good week and my waist line is looking FINE AS HELL above my widening thigh/waist (in a delicious “widening” way).
I’ve been feeling super confident and proud of myself and have even inspired some other people in my daily life to move more and adopt the way of online workout videos!!
Keep on Keeping on! @supernaturalsaxophonist
