How u got into art and animation?

Just like any other art loving goofball, i watched a shite ton of 1940's/50's cartoons when i was still in diapers (and still do) like Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry and Woody Woodpecker, i'd doodle the characters 24/7 filling up my room with stacks of paper and old sketchbooks. In my early teens, i started watching animation reels on YouTube as i got more curious about the people that made the classic shorts, plus they were always a great boost of inspiration and still are to this day.

Those aren't the only things responsible for my love of cartooning though. Garfield and SpongeBob are to blame for the foundation of my art-style while Ren & Stimpy and Oggy & and the Cockroaches inspired me to push my drawings to their breaking point while still maintaining some sort of skeleton to not go overboard and "overexaggerate".

That and drawing is dumb fun everyone should do it :)
