Sagramore raised an eyebrow, a dry smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "Bold of you to assume you’d get the chance," he replied, his voice low but steady, a hint of amusement in his tone. He crossed his arms, his gaze locking with Gannon’s, unphased by the playful threat. "Besides, if I do see it, I’m sure it’ll be worth the risk."

He tilted his head slightly, still watching Gannon with that same calm, almost challenging expression. "But you’ll have to catch me off guard first. Not an easy feat, even for you."

"Yeah, it was a co-workers birthday, damn can lawyers drink," Gannon said. "I don't think that the supernatural happenings are exactly turning people into other species, sounds a little too close to blood sacrificing and we don't usually do that." Gannon threw a pillow at him when he tugged on the blankets. "Of course I need coffee, what kind of question is that?"

Sagramore, dressed in their usual casual yet well-dressed attire, entered Gannon's room with a mix of concern and amusement on their face. "Gannon, my friend, you look like you had a wild night. Did a party get the best of you?" They raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk forming. "Anyway, just wanted to check in and make sure you're not turning into a vampire or something with all of this sleeping during the day that you're doing. You know how these supernatural happenings can go." Sage chuckled, teasing Gannon about her witchy lifestyle as he tugged at the blankets at the end of the bed. "Need some coffee to shake off the cobwebs?" Sage asked.

"Maybe you'll see it one day," Gannon teased with a light laugh. "Or maybe I'll just have to kill you if you ever do."

Sagramore chuckled, shaking his head. "Ah, you're one of those purists," he remarked with a grin. "I respect that. But, you know, sometimes a little sugar and cream can make life’s bitterness easier to swallow. Not that I’m saying you need it," he quickly added. "You seem to handle the bitterness just fine." He lifted his own cup, happy now that they had received their order, as if toasting Gannon’s resolve. "Still, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t curious to see if you’d ever crack and throw in a spoonful of sugar one of these days."

"I like the bitterness," she replied with a small laugh at his comments. "It gives it taste. I don't understand having coffee, but then covering up the coffee with all this sugar and cream."

Sagramore raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "You're so strange for liking unsweetened coffee," he teased, shaking his head in disbelief. "How do you manage to drink it without making a face?" He preferred, much sweeter alternatives and added, "I guess we all have our quirks. Just don't expect me to join you in your bitter coffee adventures. I'll be just fine with some cream and sugar."

"It's literally just a large black coffee with two shots of espresso, occasionally," Gannon replied. "It sounds vile, but I don't know, I actually really like the bitter taste."

Sagramore chuckled, raising his hands in mock surrender. "Cross my heart, I won't even think about mocking you," he promised and arched an eyebrow, a teasing smile tugging at his lips. "Why? Is it really that bad?" he quipped, his tone light and playful. "Don't worry, your order's safe with me." He reassured, gesturing for her to spill the beans on her go-to order.

"I do, and if I tell you, you cannot make fun of me for it," Gannon said with a raise of her eyebrows at him, waiting for confirmation.

Sage and Gannon arrived at the coffee shop where he entered in after her and they took a spot in line. "So, what's your go-to order?" He wondered about her. "I feel like you're definitely the type to have one." He casually explained his reasoning as they waited in the queue.

Gannon let out a laugh at his teasing. "I'd like to see you try," she responded. Gannon rolled her eyes at him. "Barely. Now, let's get coffee so I can function properly."

Sagramore leaned against the wall, his arms folded casually across his chest, as he waited in the hallway. When Gannon finally emerged from her room, he straightened up, a playful grin appearing on his face. "—Five minutes?" Sagramore's voice rang out, carrying a hint of playful protest. "I could have whipped up a whole breakfast and caught a quick nap in that time! But, fine, I suppose I'll abide by your clock," he conceded, his tone light and teasing. "...Ready to conquer the day, or at least brunch?" he added.

Gannon let out a small laugh, "You better treat me since you're dragging me out hungover from me warm comfy bed," she teased lightly. "Yeah, I'll meet you in like five minutes?"

"Sure thing," Sagramore replied with a grin, moving his hand to make sure he had grabbed his wallet this morning before leaving his place. "I can treat you this time, with how much coffee we buy between the two of us, it's bound to even out in the end. Plus, we can use my employee discount," he added, chuckling softly. "Cool Beans it is then. Let's go grab some coffee and maybe a snack if you're up for it," he suggested, already picturing the cozy atmosphere of the café. "I can wait outside of your room while you get changed, if you need?" Sage suggested, hand gesturing over his shoulder to the door he'd walked through moments before.

Gannon sat up, running her hands through her hair and then over her face. "Only if you're willing to be the one buying," she teased. "I heard there's a special going on at Cool Beans."

"Lawyers hitting the bottle hard? Hm, somewhat surprising to me, but hey, everyone needs a release." Sagramore chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. "Well, in a town like ours, with all the supernatural shenanigans, you've got to stay on your toes. Never know what might come knocking." he added, a hint of caution in his tone. Gannon's playful pillow throw elicited a laugh from Sagramore as he failed to dodge it. "—Alright, touché," he conceded. "Coffee's a given, especially after a night like that," he admitted, grinning at the banter. "It will be my treat if you drag yourself out of bed now without fighting me." He teased, trying to coax Gannon into action.
