Considered the Diwali of Gods in Varanasi, Dev Deepawali is celebrated since 1985. It is believed that the Gods come down to River Ganges to take bathe on the Full Moon night of Kartika month. . . The steps on the Ghats along the River Ganges is decorated with lamps brighten up the river bank. This is a visual delight and people from across the world come and experience it. . . Since the Ghats were too crowded, we decided to roam nearby to the place of stay by walking and luckily IT-BHU was having their annual convocations and the whole campus was in a festive mood too. The passing out students were in jolly mood. They were taking pictures and making vows to each other to meet again. The temple inside the campus was thronged by the students. . .
