I totes get whatcha mean by the instrumental, the timbre of the synth has this like certain shine to it that like it has like a shimmering technological sound, which is so Flash’s vibe 👀‼️ Someone bright and flashy like the sun, but his design is very much meant to feel more futuristic in nature v. like spark or jordan (specifically the boots n the patterns on his jacket) Im such a fan of the repeating lines at the heartbeat of the instrumental it gives such an imposing energy, the voice (lyrics aside, i did end up lookin up the translation n im like ayo?? /pos I was chucklin at the idea of those with Flash; man doesnt not have rizz like that xD) being someone with a lot of power and knowing it ✨ The key of the song and the repeating lines as well add to it too

Also im realizing it could so tie into the Flash’s enviormental sound too 👀 if like s1 was very natural/fantasy esque; S2 had that advanced industrial feel (in mianite's areas and dagrun was sorta renaissance flavored medievalism (in an king arthur sense except the king sucks), Aitheaca is both like liminal and cyberfantasy-apocalyptic with ianite's areas of control having a very grecian-cyber/steampunkish feel whereas mianite and dianite to represent their obscurity have a more liminal wasteland feel about them And!! this fits so well (instrumental wise) into that concept I love it so much

After you finally arrive to baulder’s Gate your next mission is the most important one yet! It’s time to go find a nice spot to set up camp. Point is he’s done for the day and is begging you along with the rest of the group to agree with him for break. In which you all decide to rent out a room for a couple nights in the Elfsong tavern.

After unpacking and changing out of your armor into more casual clothes your realized how starved you were after such a long journey here. Little did you sense the tall rugged elf was beside you.

“Hungry aren’t you?” He says grabbing both your shoulders in an attempt to scare you.

You let out a shriek and push him away from you unaware of who it truly was.

“GAH HALSIN- you can’t do that to people!” You huffed

“I’m sorry little dove, I couldn't resist, and I overheard the growl of your stomach. It seems you're in need of your next meal. Would you care to join me downstairs? I wouldn't mind covering the expenses, of course."

“Oh? Sure that sounds great thank you! I’m starving! I need to get my hands on something to eat soon or I’ll go crazy” You said slightly daydreaming of all the tasty food you smelled walking past the kitchen to the rooms upstair.

“Me too” Halsin whispered under his breath as his eyes traced the outline of your body.

Your cheeks blushed as you overheard this but since he wanted to be quite the jokester earlier you decided to pay him back~

“What was that? You said as you looked up at him purposely with big doe eyes

The two of you head down stairs and sit down at the bar table. You order a bowl of mushroom stew with a wine to complement the mushrooms undertones. Halsin unsurprisingly orders a large juicy steak with a heaping pile of steamed vegetables on the side. Along with you he decides to order a glass of wine. Enjoying each others company you finish your dinner together and decide to head back upstairs. However almost everyone was already asleep in their sections of the floor.

“Ahhh it is getting late little dove, you should go and get some rest. We can always chat more some other time.”

You would be foolish to deny the small trace of sadness that lurched in your heart as he spoke. Unfortunately, your eyes held a bit of sadness that the old Druid could easily detect.

“Oh dove but please don’t worry, I promise we can spend more time together just the two of us eventually if that’s something you’d enjoy?”

You look up at him and give him a small smile and nod.

“Yes I would love that, your company is more than wanted.”

He smirks a little and smiles back. The two of you walk back upstairs to call it a night after enjoying your evening together. Finally, in the comfort of your bed, you slowly drift off to sleep... That is until the middle of the night when you wake up, startled by the sound of commotion near one of the beds beside you. You open you eyes to see Halsin getting ready to leave to who knows where.

“Halsin?….” You whisper at him

“Oh no.” He clears his throat

“My sincerest apologies, I did not mean to wake you from your slumber.”

You get up and sit towards the edge of the bed, you’re a bit groggy still but you decide to ignore it worried your companion is in trouble.

“What is it? Is something wrong? Why are you up so late? You asked in a hushed whisper as you turn on a dim light next to you.

As you look at him, the tall elf blushes, realizing his problem is now more obvious to you. You slowly looked down to see a large tent in his pants. How his crotch looked painfully erect it was almost begging to be attended to.

“Ah… I see…”

“I’m so sorry- it’s just the city is so stressful and I’m having trouble adjusting… not to mention how you-..” He stops talking and swallows a bit of fear as he realizes he just mentioned you.

He takes you to more secluded part of the floor away from any of your companions. He carefully plops you onto a large bed and begins undressing himself. When he’s finished he carefully picks you up yet again and plops you down on his lap.

He looks deeply into your eyes as his hands graze the first button on your shirt. You carefully nod and take a deep breath as he takes no time to undo all the buttons of your shirt. Luckily for Halsin you typically always sleep in your dress shirt and nothing else.

His eyes lit up as he saw the perkiness of your breast appear from underneath your shirt. Without wasting time he takes one into his hand and plays with it while taking the other one into his mouth. hahaha. i haven't played in a long time so my characterization is fuzzy. i'm teetering between vere not getting jealous easily because he knows you're together and he's incredibly confident the person you're talking to is nowhere near his level v. him being more on the possessive(?) side because you're one of the only people he's close to What is that person doing.

i'll land on that i don't think he gets incredibly jealous,,, at least not easily! he Is confident in himself and your relationship,, plus he can tell when 1) you're trying to rile him up 2) genuinely oblivious to whatever the person's trying to do or 3) uncomfortable with the situation

Having Lucifer as your partner, and caregiver was better than anything you could’ve ever imagined. Things only got better since the day they found out about your regression, they confessed how happy it made them, how it would wipe away all their worries when they took care of you. You were precious to them in so many ways, but as much as they’d love to show you off to the whole realm they knew what came with being an angel in hell.

Despite their warnings you refused to be always locked up in the castle, so they complied with joining you on walks around the realm and visiting different places they’ve mentioned before to you. Nobody would dare approach you as you walked along side their ruler. You’d get harsh looks and the ocasional snarl or growl your way, which Lucifer would quickly punish with a simple wave of their hand the demon would be out of sight, to where you didn’t want nor need to know.

You wanted so badly to be able to walk those paths alone once, not because you didn’t enjoy Lucifer’s company but just because you wanted that sense of independence, like you didn’t need to always be protected. You requested to start going on walks with lower ranks, at first the demons were cautious, careful of the fact Lucifer could just be around the corner, the same attitude as always continued those days, they’d lose a hand by Mazikeen’s command.

They got brave after that. With the rare times you’d leave without Lucifer they knew only Mazikeen was there to look after you, they started getting chatty. “God gave them the runt of the litter” said a demon as you passed by, you ignored them. “we’ll get you alone some day” this one seemed to follow behind you. “You’ll regret ever stepping foot out of that castle, can’t go out without a guard, what? are you too weak?” And finally. “What is an angel if not a chew toy for us to tear apart.” The way that demon didn’t even see you as a being, how he was just waiting. Anxiously anticipating the day they’d finally get you. A chew toy he said.

You wanted to cry. You wanted to run into Lucifer’s arms and feel safe again. You grabbed Mazikeens wrist, your voice barely above a whisper as you tried so hard not to breakdown, you could feel yourself slipping. “I wana go home..” Mazikeen was the only one who knew, being Lucifer’s right hand meant trust and undying loyalty. She swore to keep you safe the second Lucifer confessed how they felt for you, and she swore to keep your secret the minute you confided in her enough to tell her. Lucifer would put their life in Mazikeens hands, that was enough said, you could trust her aswell.

She proved herself when in a matter of seconds you were safely back home, in your room and sat on your bed, while she busied herself with summoning Lucifer to you. You made no effort to move from your bed as you hugged one of your stuffies tightly and just cried. What was taking them so long?

Lucifer was explained everything once they met with Mazikeen, they were torn, that demon deserved to be punished, by their own hand, the demon would learn a whole new meaning of pain, they’d do it publicly, Lucifer decided, the demon would be used as an example to show what happens to those who even attempt to hurt you. Then be sent to eternal suffering, purgatory, for so much as looking at you wrong.

Lucifer heard your cries, and then their mind was made up, the demon would be taken care of later. For now, they had a much more important little one to focus on. Lucifer never liked to see you cry, sometimes you’d just be pouty or fussy, that happens to every little, but knowing it was caused by one of their subjects filled them with wrath, wrath that had to be pushed down for now. It wasn’t more important than you, and they couldn’t risk scaring you.

You practically jumped into their arms, stuffie in hand, the second they walked through that door. “My sweet angel.. what have they done to you.” You just cried more. “Thank you Mazikeen, we will discuss this later, you are dismissed.” Mazikeen only nodded and left. Lucifer made their way back to bed, arms wrapped around you tight as their hand soothed your back. Sure you’ve cried before but never had they seen you so distraught, and also, so small. You couldn’t get a word out as your cries were replaced with sniffles and you clung to them like your life depended on it.

Truly, Lucifer was at a loss, you’ve never regressed so small before, and nothing like this had ever happened, if you were big they’d openly admit the demon was going to be punished, but saying that to you right now would do no good. So they settled for comforting you, they let you cling to them and cry until all that could be heard was your struggled breathing and sniffling, then they held you even tighter. After a few minutes of silence they concluded they should probably say something, anything really, an apology was the first thing to leave their mouth.

“I’m sorry, my sweet little angel. I’m so sorry.” They took a deep breath hugging you close to their chest. Sure they were angry, but they were mostly heartbroken, to think their home, what was supposed to be your home as well caused you so much harm. Maybe it was just words this time, but what would happen if you were alone, or if more than one demon decided to target you, or you slipped before you could get away?

Their mind ran rampant before your small voice and hand over their heart brought them back. “fast.” you stated as a fact. You do that a lot when you’re small, they always found it so adorable. Lucifer only nodded. “Are you alright, tiny?” You shook your head burying it into their chest again. “Tiny hurts” yeah. Heartbroken was the word of the day. “Luci’s going to make sure that demon isn’t mean again okay? I won’t let you get hurt, tiny.” You held up your pinky looking up with teary eyes. This time they immediately laced their own with yours and kissed your hand.

“I pinky promise, my little love, nobody’s going to hurt you again.” your breathing was mostly getting back to normal and your sniffles stopped, you nodded and shuffled up. “What’s wrong, tiny?” You gently grabbed their face and gave them a little smile. You let out a little “Mwah!” as you have them a kiss on the forehead and handed them your stuffie. “Well thank you, little one, what’s that for?” They said as they hugged the stuffed animal close. You placed your hand back on their heart. “luci hurts” Lucifer sighed, a smile on their face as they replied. “Well I’m all cured now, thanks to you. the lobby to your and peter's apartment was freezing, colder than it had ever been before. it was evident that you'd been crying, and you tried your best to cover it up before you fished out your keys from your purse.

"time of death, 9:37pm," you had said to the other surgeons in the room, voice trembling. someone started to cover up the body, which you couldn't look at anymore.

you didn't realise you were staring at the floor, unmoving, until you were ushered out of the room. you heard someone talking, but you were too disturbed to listen, until you thought about a question. "who's going to tell them?" you murmured to the person gripping your arm.

"what?" you looked up to mia staring down at you, confusion and concern evident in her eyes. she knew this was the first time you'd experienced a patient dying on your watch, and it was bound to have an impact on you.

"who's going to tell the family, mia?" you asked, louder this time.

she looked shocked that you'd asked that question, even though it was a valid one. "don't worry about that," she said. "why don't you just go home, try to get a good night's sleep. your shift's already over."

"but-"

"no buts," she interrupted. "please."

grabbing your coat, you started heading towards the doors of the hospital, until you heard the crying. you tried to not look back but you couldn't help it. his wife was sobbing, holding onto her son who was trying to calm her but was crying himself.

you couldn't look any longer. tears filled your eyes as you left the hospital, eventually running down your cheeks as you climbed into your car. for god's sake, the guy was a husband, a father. they didn't deserve that. he didn't deserve that. why couldn't you just save him?

blinking out of the memories of tonight, you unlocked the door and stepped inside, trying your best to not start crying again.

"sweetheart?" you heard peter's voice call out from the living room. dropping your bag to the floor, you made your way over to him, vision already blurring. forcing a smile onto your face, you sat down next to him, staring at your sock-clad feet on the fluffy carpet.

you didn't meet his eyes as he quietly asked, "what's wrong?"

"nothing," you responded, still not looking at him. "jus' tired. had a long day." pausing, you added, "i'm gonna head to bed."

your boyfriend was too perceptive, and so he knew that you were lying. he followed you into the bedroom after giving you a few minutes to yourself.

you were curled up in the corner of the room, pajamas already on. you were trying so hard to stop the sobs that were pouring out from your body.

peter knelt in front of you, coaxing you out of your shell with soft, gentle hands. "oh, princess," he murmured.

"i'm sorry," you hiccuped, tears falling. you fell into his outstretched arms, one hand cupping the back of your head and the other softly rubbing your back.

"no, please," he said. "don't apologise. you've done nothing wrong."

at his words you pressed your face into his sweater, wet tears soaking it, but he couldn't care less. he only cared about you, about comforting you.

pulling yourself away, you lifted your hand to wipe away the remaining tears, but your boyfriend did that for you. his hands stayed on your face as you tried your best to recount what happened.

"i couldn't save him, pete," you sobbed. "a-and that's the hardest thing about this job. i can't always save everyone."

his heart broke at the pain you were going through. he had hoped that nobody would ever have to experience what it felt like to have that burden. "you did all you could," he said softly, voice filled with emotion. "that's all that matters, sweetheart. it's not your fault."

he gave you a kiss to the top of your head, helping you to stand up and leading you into the bed. "it's not my fault," you murmured, mainly to yourself.

he nodded, immensely proud of you. "it's going to take time," he responded, pulling you back into the warmth of his chest. "but you'll get there. i promise."

Roxie probably just sleeps in ordinary clothes, and is happy to sleep anywhere but a bed. She doesn't like blankets. Roxie has very vivid dreams of destroying things, which she enjoys. This is also when you'd see her at her most peacefulness, since she sleeps for quite a while. Like when a hyperactive child finally manages to go to sleep.

its just such a horrible feeling bc i thought i just have one more sem left, not two. im trying to find a way to dispute the situation bc it just blindsided me and as far as i can tell, this isnt my fault bc theres never been an option to review what is what. but yea, i went out of his office and into the crowded hall still crying. apparently grief triumphs over anxiety bc i didnt care abt ppl looking at me lol
