I’m very happy with the name ‘finch’ actually! It’s just a silly passing thought that if my surname were, say, ‘huge sick-ass cave lion,’ that would be my persona of choice for autobiographical comics.

GUYS. THIS ISN’T GOOD ROOMMATE BEHAVIOUR

I made a(n unsuccessful) attempt to revive daily diary comics, so there is a TINY smattering of those coming up! I love them. But I can’t work on any other projects when I do them. Don’t have the bandwidth. Somehow I forget that periodically and have to take another stab at them before I remember.

I think I’ll maybe just do entries every now and then! And this was certainly worth commemorating 💫

I actually only learned this year that those fluffy seeds come from thistles. When I was a kid my brother and I just called them ‘fluffies’ and it was our solemn quest to free any of them we saw trapped in spiderwebs or dense foliage.
