Even before Sue and Reed were married and the children were born, the world's first superhero team were bonded to each other by their experiences together. The whole family was either apart for the outbreak, or separated in the confusion of it all. Aliens, time travel, interdimensional incursions, and it's the overblown rabies that finally separated this team.

Sue, separated from her teenage children, her brother, her best friend, and her husband, found her way to Haven. She had no idea of who of her loved ones were even alive, and she was exhausted from months on her own. She recorded radio messages to draw her family home, and decided that while she waited for them, she would help work on a cure.

In a sealed reality, Franklin's powers are diminished. Living in a world where zombies are a present danger, and not having the range of abilities you are accustomed to is an unpredictable life.

NPCs

NPCs are non-player characters that act as ‘extras’ or ‘supporting cast’ to the RP narrative. I use the term NPC, also, to mean 'minor characters'.

On my blogs, there are several NPCs I may bring in to use within threads and plots. These NPCs can be moved within the story, helping to advance plot, adding drama–etc. etc. As I have created most of these NPCs, I’d prefer writing and directing them myself, in the majority of cases. Plotting is always preferred if we use NPCs extensively in our plots/threads. Some NPCs can be played by my partners--it's all a matter of circumstance/plot depending.

Some of these NPCs are from AUs, past RPs, deceased, and might only be mentioned in passing.

The FCs I use are only for reference as to what these NPC’s look like. It is highly unlikely I will use icons of them for threads.

More NPCs will be added as I create them (or remember them!).

Osmond - Neoma's father. He was a witch who was Myriam's confidant in Scintil. He aided her in her crimes, but left her service when his conscience got the better of him. He took the fall for her later, and was killed in an attempt to keep the truth of her crimes secret. No FC yet.

Alden - Myriam’s Uncle/Neoma’s Great Uncle. He took the throne after Myriam fled and grows more corrupted by the day. No FC yet.

Richard Franklin seems like a perfectly lovely, nice person, and yet he does stuff like this that gives me such a sense of secondhand embarrassment that it absolutely murders me. It all makes me really embarrassed over how infatuated I am with Captain Yates and how curious I am about Richard Franklin’s actual life. It makes me really embarrassed that I am so infatuated with Captain Yates that I choose to RP him. I mean... There are things I am really very curious about in his life. I would love to hear about his stint in politics for example, or how he got involved in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. And yet, I hear stories like this about him that make me feel that if I ever get the chance to meet him, that I will... Just... Die of embarrassment.]

THE CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE. heroes age. we might not want to believe it but one day they won’t be around anymore or they’ll be retired. then who will we count on? who will save the universe? it's  about that time where we start to think abut the CHILDREN. the children of these heroes are our future and our protectors. many will fall into the mantle of their parents and we will do everything we can to ensure that that happens. 

WE ARE THE AGE OF HEROES. but what about the villains? are we going to ensure that the children end up just like their parents? we are going to do everything in our power to make sure that they lead normal lives and have a life that they can be proud of and not robbing banks & destroying entire cities because they were BORED or wanted to live out a ridiculous dream. we will do everything we can to protect the CHILDREN. but we will also make them pay for the crimes that their parents played out. we will MOLD them to be what we want them to be.

SUMMARY: sidekickhq is an appless next gen dc/marvel rp. it centers around paragon academy ( a school for heroes / a school that forces children of villains to attend to atone for the crimes their parents have done ) & its town in upstate new york! we are not only a next gen rp, we also accept canons who aren’t associated with any children & and we accept oc’s who have no relation to families. we have no set families & we also accept most canon kids! sidekickhq has regular plot drops & events that help you develop your characters & a welcoming ( and optional ) discord!
