Martha might be the exception to the all of them are queer thing she's like the group ally

This is not to say I don't absolutely LOVE her character I love Martha soo much I loved the arc with her becoming the group hunter and then the bunny thing and just UGH I love it all

Also she def has weak ankles this doesn't really matter but I also have weak ankles so I'm projecting it onto her

Also about Shelby being the new confederate, I saw someone somewhere wondering why she would do that so I really wanna explain that since I totally get it. Of COURSE she would want to stay on the island it's where she learned what love REALLY is. It's the same reason she did nothing when she saw the boat.

Now the boysss they're sooo gay (and I might talk more about them than the girls I'm sorry there is a bias because I'm gay (also they have the craziest shit going on?? Most of the girls problems are discussed and dealt with in the show lol))

And to get ships out of the way, Ivan&hen and Ivan & Kirin are my favs

SO I wanna talk about the scene with him and Kirin because it's so hard to watch and it's so like???? So I just wanna explain how I see it, a young black gay boy catches his schoolmate crying over a former coach at their school because he was very close to this coach, but he recently got fired for doing blackface in the past (NOT excusing it, just to acknowledge that there is a CHANCE he has genuinely changed over time) assuming Kirin was upset because the coach was a father figure to him? We never get to see kirins family life but I feel like we can assume he's being raised by a single mother? And Ivan rightfully assumes Kirin is excusing the coachs actions but I think Kirin is just grieving because someone he looked up to turned out to probably be a bad person

And about why Ivan egged him on, sometimes when you live with everyone saying those things to you, you begin to just expect it. He was so convinced that somebody like Kirin COULD NOT dislike him for any other reason that he practically put the words in his mouth. And I am gonna defend Kirin because he's NOT an asshole ! I feel like I shouldn't have to explain any of this but I might as well atp, when someone expects the worst of you, you give them what they want. So to summarize: assumptions and misunderstanding caused their problems and I think they should talk it out

Okay since that also counted as my thoughts on Kirin it's time for my hcs for him!! Gaygaygay so gay love him & Ivan and he's very touchy and protective with Josh (see: his response to Josh setting himself on fire),,, I don't think it's requited tho. I also just love the way he doesn't hesitate to believe and defend Josh

However I do think that Nora might also be in the little radio station place Seth was in at the end of season2 unless it was like Gretchen's way of making sure he can't hurt anyone else? Just put him in his own little box then he can't fuck it up!

I love Cervical Cancer Awareness Im Proud Grandma of Awesome Warri shirt . scene too. But the uploader is missing the crucial two former pages where Superman was initially quite angry at Shazam before he sees the ‘grown man’ crying his heart out and feeling all sorts of guilt before he finally does the big reveal. I know. But it was the best link I could find at the time. There is some important context missing, like Shazam going on a rampage because assassins were sent after him (as Billy) and instead his friend was killed. That has to weigh on Billy and add to Superman’s anger. Goddamnit I love moments like these. There’s just no excuse for Superman being this emo. He had a wonderful life as a kid and grew up surrounded by people who loved him. Clark Kent exists because if everyone knew who Superman was, the easiest way to hear him would be to threaten his friends and family. Also, it’s probably fucking exhausting to be superman. Even if it isn’t physically exhausting, it must be horrible mentally. One potential idea for a movie would be as a sequel to the man of steel (for example) where superman is now basically just saving people full time and doesn’t have any time to relax. Louis gets annoyed. Fired from the daily bugle for being absent too often. His mom starts to think that he doesn’t care anymore, etc and it starts to really stress superman out. Then he can learn to strike a balance between the two and save some of the superhero work to the other members of the justice league. You could have a scene or two with batman trying to talk. Superman out of going to help in a different country saying that wonder woman or some other character has it handled in order to also introduce the concept that the two of them are now friends and care about each other. The aim of the game is simple; list at least 5 lesser known facts about your WIP and/or the OC of your choosing!

1. As of right now all of my wips are in the same universe. So there will probably be subtle nods to the bands of The Reckless in Chaos.

2. In the very first version of Chaos I decided to include a battle of the bands storyline for some reason?? but it’s been scraped since. 

3. Originally Chaos was going to be a long series but I shortened it to one book and now two (the second being more focused on Kelsey’s younger brother and his friend group.) The series was going to follow Ryker and Kelsey into adulthood while Ryker pursued a career as a cop.

4. I chose San Francisco as the setting because I’ve always wanted to go to San Francisco/move there. 

5. Chaos is basically a mix of all of my favorite parts of my favorite movies & tv shows. Examples are, We Need To Talk About Kevin, Skins, The Breakfast Club, etc.

it takes place in san francisco, a fictional suburb called “ridgeview” and some of the surrounding area, in 2013 and up to september 2018

5. Are there any former titles you’ve considered but discarded?

originally it was titled “oh kelsey” but after major changes in the plot i realized the name didn’t fit the feel of the story anymore so i changed it 

6. What’s the first line of your novel?

im most likely going to change it later but for right now its, “In the mailbox there was a manila envelope with letters inside.”

7. What’s a line of dialogue you’re particularly proud of?

so far in this draft nothing super interesting has happened so i don’t have any lines in proud of yet

uhhh maybe, “...she had to know what became of the boy she cared for so deeply and how he became the monster who did such heinous things.“

i know very little about harry potter but from what i know Ryker gives me hufflepuff vibes, Magnolia is probably a griffindor, Odessa would be a ravenclaw and Hunter, Meredith & Shane might be slytherin. im too lazy to try and think of anyone else’s.

Kelsey: plain tee, cardigan, skinny jeans & converse.

During the novel Kelsey gets a scar on her cheek, Shane probably has various scars from abuse and fights, Felix’s nose is crooked from all the times he’s been punched in the face, Myranda has self harm scars, & Blair has cigarette burns.

I feel like Meredith fits the mean girl trope pretty well.

Josie is the best and Pierce is the worst.

Oc Tag Game

1. What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)? it was his style. i always knew he was gonna dress a bit edgy, when i first created him he was a little bit more emo though.

2. Did you design them with any other characters/OCs from their universe in mind? no, he was very different from the characters i created before.

3. How did you choose their name? at first his name was jason, i think? i honestly don’t know why i named him that??? eventually i changed to to shane because it felt more like him. there was a period in time when his name was seth but i changed it back.

4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts? because the story is set in san francisco which is known for their large punk scene, i decided he was going to spend a lot of his time in that scene so i created “nigel’s tavern” and the staff of said club.  this really played a huge part in the rest of his development.

5.6.7) Is there any significance behind their hair colour/eye colour/height? not really. but originally he had red patches in his hair because edgy but i scrapped that.

8. What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story? i don’t think there’s really anything about him that i can relate to,, that’s probably for the best

10. Did you know what the OC’s sexuality would be at the time of their creation? no,, and i still don’t think it do. all i can concretely say is he definitely likes girls and has probably kissed a few guys. so maybe he’s bicurious 

11. What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC (any form of art: Writing, drawing, edits, etc.)? his aesthetic comes very easily to me so edits and drawing him are easy-ish (i haven’t drawn something in like 2 years tho) so i guess writing him
