#first day of internship

Today is my first day at my first ever internship! I’m so nervous I’m kinda shaking 🫨 need some reassurance from the babes if you’re up to it?

Andy has already made you a spread for breakfast and a wonderful lunch. Of course there’s a little encouraging sticky note in it! He’s ready to drive you there, if you want, as well. Anything to ease your nerves, including a big hug and a nice, firm rub on your back with his big hands. Dinner is anything you want, whether that’s going out in celebration or a nice, quiet evening in with your favorite.

Curtis woke you up with kisses all over your face. You insisted he didn’t need to rise before you since he got home so late from his shift last night, but he wouldn’t take no for an answer. He was five minutes before your alarm, too, which means he got to hold you in the warmth of your bed for a little while. Through that whole time, he’s whispering little encouragements and praises in your ear, which help you become more excited than nervous for the day.

Jake has been hyped up since the moment you found out you got the internship. More than happy to take you shopping for a professional outfit and research the company so you have everything you need to know before going in. He knows who your boss is, what they value in a worker, and most importantly: where you need to first report to when you first walk in so you don’t look like a noob. He knows it’s scary to be the one walking into a place aimlessly, so he likes the reassurance being as prepared as possible can give you. The only thing he can’t reassure you of is how nice the IT guys will be when they set up your computer. He’s periodically texting to check up on your during the day, though, so say the word and he’ll hack them if they’re mean.

Ari had to head out before you left this morning, but there was a nice hand-written note on the fridge waiting for you. Have a wonderful day, sweetheart. See you soon. He’s carved out time for lunch with you, at least! You weren’t expecting it, instead scoping out local restaurants on small breaks since you didn’t pack, but when he waltzes in, you can’t help the smile that lights up your face. Just his presence is calming. You’re not even completely sure how he got through security, but then you think again about his charm and good looks, not to mention how he’s turning heads right now as he’s walking towards you, and you’re sure you can figure that out. He greets you with a kiss on the top of your head and asks if you’ve got a place in mind to spend a nice break with him on this sunny afternoon.

Ransom doesn’t want you to know this, but he’s got a huge party planned. Well, it’s a party for two, but when you see the decorations after walking in your home this afternoon, you’ll think that it was for 100. Balloons and streamers everywhere in those very modern, tame colors with gold accents lining the living room. A nice charcuterie table and a good bottle of wine he grabbed from the cellar. He focused more on the after part of your day, because he’s been so sure that you’d rock it this whole time.

Stucky hehehehe. Your two boys have been out on a mission for a couple weeks, but called with you last night before bed to talk. You hoped that was the signal they would be coming soon, but you were never really sure. Bucky walked you through some breathing exercises and Steve gave you a wonderful pep talk that really helped to ease your nerves and give you sweet dreams. You fell asleep on the phone and woke up to a text, reiterating all they said the night before and it almost feels as good as a physical hug sandwiched between the two of them. When you walk out of the doors for the day, you’re surprised to see two men leaning against a truck, their arms and long legs crossed in front of them. They stand up straight with huge smiles on their faces when they see you and you’re greeted with a hug and a kiss on the cheek from Steve before Bucky grabs your hand and kisses your knuckles, opening the door and guiding you up into the seat. Gotta keep it professional in front of your new potential place of work! They drive you out to the country for a nice sunset picnic. There, they can give you a proper greeting, picking you up and spinning you around and asking all about your day.

thank you for asking though !!!! because i am still writing in my drafts, maybe next week after my exams, i'm still trying to manage my schedule and now that i'm a month in, i already know the ropes, plus rn i'm assigned at the more busy parts of the laboratory and every shift makes me want to sleep immediately and prepare for the next shift but in a few weeks we will be rotating and finally moving to the less busy areas so i might have more time to write and actually post my drafts n e ways!!!! here are my drafts which you might see that i've written it over a month ago but that's what internship does to me so 💪
