home again. I was going to draw several greil mercs but I got bored so here is a rhys

Today's disabled character of the day is Rhys from the Fire Emblem series, who is immunocompromised

Rhys- Tellius

Your first healer in PoR, Rhys is a gentle man with a frail constitution that leaves him prone to illness. Works as the company medic since his fragility makes other work difficult for him.

Boons: Reason, Faith

Banes: Sword, Lance, Axe, Brawling, Armor

Hidden Talent: Flying (Transmute)

Combat Arts: None

Reason: Fire (D), Bolganone (C), Sagittae (B), Ragnarok (A), Agnea’s Arrow (A+)

Faith: HealNos, Physic (C), Restore (B), Aura (A)

Authority: Battalion Renewal (C)

Rhys is surprisingly hard if only because he’s fairly one note. Faith obviously, he’s a healer, and reason is a easy pick since he’s magic, but flying’s one of those ones I had to dig through supports for. He talks about how he’s always dreamed of flying with Ulki, who ends up taking him for a ride. It’s kinda obscure which I figure that works for a hidden talent, and I sort of aped what Jeritza’s flying talent does and have his the mastery skill from a female only flying class, in this case dark flier. His weakness reflect his frailty and inability to contribute as a physical fighter. Spells lean towards fire spells for his affinity along with the light based ones since he gets light magic in both games. I messed with the order a little too so that he gets more offensive spells later to reflect how he doesn’t unlock offensive magic til he promotes in PoR. Faith spells are largely healing, physic since he wants to be well behind the front lines and restore since given his poor health something to cure status ailments feels fitting. I’d have done Fortify but I didn’t like him and Mist having it, so I did a high level light spell to once again reflect his late game light magic access. And of course, battalion remewal because healer.
