It's really interesting that on one hand, I see critical groups just frothing at the mouth going, "See? SEE? The Barbie movie WASN'T the epitome of feminist cinema! Its feminism was surface level at best!" and on the other hand I see see people dressing up in fun outfits and complimenting each other and sharing stories of growing up and what it felt like to lose innocence. And like, everyone's entitled to their opinion but god damn.
