It was 8:12am . The sun was shining brightly, bathing the world in its warm embrace. The gentle breeze was cool and refreshing, providing a much-needed respite from the stifling summer heat. The trees stood tall and proud, gently swaying in the wind as the birds sang their sweet melodies. In the distance, children were on their way to school, chatting among themselves.

You were on your way to open your bakery, a small business you started last year in makochi, a chill town. It was enveloped in a sense of tranquility, the absence of cars making the air still and peaceful.The stillness of the town provided a refreshing change from the constant honking and traffic noise that filled your last location.

As you step into the bakery, the first thing that catches the eye is the warm brown and beige color palette that dominates the space. The walls are painted a soft beige, and large brown shelves are stacked with an array of freshly-baked breads and pastries. The floor is tiled in a soft brown and tan pattern, and the countertops are made of light brown wood.

Large potted fiddle leaf fig plants stand tall in each corner of the space, their deep green leaves providing a stark contrast to the light beige walls. Trailing ivy hangs from the shelves, its delicate leaves adding a sense of wildness to the otherwise cozy atmosphere. Smaller pots of succulents and cacti are scattered throughout the space, their prickly texture and bold shapes adding visual interest to the soft color palette.

After putting on your work uniform, which contains a tucked in white button up with a brown chest pocket, and then over that a brown waist apron, you started cleaning the counter of any dust, and shorty you brought out the chairs from the storage room, they're made of a sturdy wood, and are padded with soft beige cushions to make them more comfortable. The tables are a lighter wood, round in shape, and are surrounded by two padded seats each.

Shortly after the opening, customers begin to come in for breakfast. Some asked for Black Coffee, some for a Latte, and others a Cappuccino. Often paired with stacked pancakes with cream in between and a strawberry on top, waffles coated in honey and blueberries or chocolate and banana slices layered between soft crêpes.

The afternoon passed by in a flash, and as the clock ticked with every second passing, you suddenly realized it had turned to 4:32pm. Occasional customers had swung by the pastry shop for a quick purchase, only to then continue onwards with their day almost as quickly as they had appeared.

And its seems that your regular has chosen this very time to patronize the pastry shop.

With a childish joy, your regular, a tall and gangly man with white hair, once again invaded the comfortable silence of the bakery. His presence sent a shiver of annoyance through you. How could he be such a disruption so often? It was honestly getting ridiculou--

You hadn't seen them around the bakery before. And by the look of them, they were just as loud and boisterous as your regular.

Much to your annoyance, Umemiya had brought with him a sizable group of companions. They wasted no time, immediately starting to rearrange the seating into a circular formation. To your surprise, you recognized the group as the so-called protectors of the town, Bofurin. You weren't pleased that they, too, were causing a ruckus in your bakery.

You raised an eyebrow as you looked at Umemiya and his group of companions. In mock surprise, you remarked, 'You actually have friends, Umemiya? I thought only Hiragi could put up with your antics.' With the menu in hand, you prepared to take their order, albeit begrudgingly

Umemiya laughed at your comment, clearly not bothered by it in the slightest. His companions chuckled amongst themselves, amused by your words. “Oh, you wound me!” he retorts, putting his hand over his heart in faux hurt. “And here I thought you enjoyed my company!” he grins, clearly enjoying the banter. “And of course I have friends! I’ll have you know that they’re not as uptight as that stick in the mud Hiragi.” "what did you just call me??"

After handing the group the menu he came back to where you were standing, wiping a plate.

"so i'll get a-" "1150." "I didnt even order yet-" "one thousand one hundred and fifty yen. pay up." "wait um let me get a a large matcha-" "yes yes yes! A large matcha shortbread cake, frosted with a light and fluffy pastry cream and topped with fresh, plump blackberries, an iced matcha latte, extra sweet, with some whipped cream on top. And an extra shot of espresso to the latte!! stop playing Hajime Umemiya." "woah how did you know i was going to get that??" "you're the only person in this town that enters saying 'yahoo!' At 4:32pm !! And i can smell that old t-shirt you've been wearing for 3 years."

" did i begame a regular here to the point you memorized my order? " he grinned, pulling out his thin, long wallet. " please. You come here almost everyday. "

While Umemiya laughed and joked with you, some of his companions were watching the interaction with playful stares. One of them with sharp blonde hair couldn't help but comment under his breath, 'How are his teeth keeping up with all that sugar??' The rest of them chuckled amongst themselves, clearly amused by the thought.

Even though the banter and teasing from Umemiya and his friends could occasionally be annoying, there was no denying that these moments were often the high point of your day. The lighthearted atmosphere he brought with his visits always lifted your spirits, making the work a bit more bearable, even if just for a moment.

You efficiently prepared the orders for Umemiya and his friends, making sure each one was made according to their specifications. You then handed them over to your barista, a fellow employee at the bakery, who took charge of serving the customers. She took the orders and skillfully moved through the bakery, delivering the pastries and drinks to the table where Umemiya and his companions were seated.

Your co-worker, a cheerful and energetic individual, their smile and easygoing nature made them popular among the customers, you honestly wanted someone more calm and collected to work with you, but oh well. She quickly engaged with Umemiya and his companions, bringing an even more lively atmosphere to the already bustling eatery.

Your eyes narrowed slightly as Umemiya's voice rose above the din, engaging in a lively conversation with your co-worker. His talkative nature was evident as he eagerly joined in, his boisterous laughter occasionally cutting through the air. You felt a strange feeling in your chest, a mix of annoyance and something you couldn't quite place, at the sight of the two chatting so comfortably.

Umemiya was known to be talkative, and you had no doubt that he would quickly become the center of attention in any conversation. His infectious energy and charismatic personality often made him the star of the show, overshadowing others around him. You knew this would be a long interaction... and you didnt like that.

You shook off the strange feeling and forcefully turned your attention back to the task at hand. You busied yourself with reorganizing the utensils and wiping croissant crumbs off the countertop in a futile attempt to distract yourself. The clattering of silverware and scrubbing of the crumbs filled the air, providing a temporary respite from the conversation happening behind you. Yet, the sound of Umemiya's infectious laugh still managed to seep through, an incessant reminder of the interaction unfolding nearby.

your heart clenched, felt a pang of jealousy and a wave of possessiveness washed over you, surprising you with its intensity. However, this feeling of jealousy was unfamiliar, and you couldn't fully understand it. You were perplexed, torn between wanting to intervene and knowing you had no right to. The mixture of emotions left you in a state of confusion, wrestling with your unexpected feelings of jealousy.

Umemiya was just a noisy regular, nothing else. right? He just orders his complicated order, eats it, and leaves. no way you would catch feelings with that little interraction? yes that must be it. you're just confused with yourself. Nothing serious. The feeling will go away surely...right?

The setting sun sent golden rays filtering through the windows of the bakery, bathing the interior in a warm and inviting glow. The gentle orange hue cast a peaceful atmosphere over the space, creating a cozy ambiance that seemed to welcome the evening. As your co-worker gathered the empty plates and cups, the friends were finishing up the last of their drinks and pastries, preparing to depart. They thanked your co-worker for their service, bidding them farewell as they got up from their seats.

Umemiya approached you with a carefree smile on his face, his usual boisterous attitude apparent. He handed over the payment for his friends orders, the bills slightly crinkled. The air was still filled with the lingering scent of freshly-baked pastries, and the soft chatter of customers in the background.

He leaned in to say, "Thanks, [name]." He said, with a playful wink. "You're the best!" Then, he turned to leave, joining his friends who were waiting by the exit.

You counted out the bills with practiced ease, making sure everything was in order. Then you placed them at the cash register.

You let out a sigh, "Those guys sure are a handful." You remarked, shaking your head in mild disbelief. "Especially Umemiya... always causing a scene whenever he comes in. I swear, I don't know what I'm going to do with that guy." "its not everyday we get such popular customers, right [name]-san?" she asked, placing down the empty food containers on the counter.

"care to elaborate?"

"well you saw their uniforms right?! those are student at Furin! The deliquent school! And who doesnt like tough independent handsome guys? people are fighting to get a chance with them too! and i might be one of them..." she fiddled with her hair, remembering the totally-her-type Furin boys that were patrolling some days ago.

You rolled your eyes, amused by your coworker's swooning. "Easy there, lovebird," you chuckled. "You're practically drooling." You teased. "Sure, those Furin boys might have a reputation, but don't get too obsessed. There's more to life than swooning over bad boys, you know?" You teased, giving her a playful nudge.

"Fancy coming from you [name]-san! With that undeniable romantic tension between you and Umemiya-san you should just kiss already! God its so obvious you're down bad for eachother," she scolded.

"I dont like him like that. Absolutely fucking not. What the hell? also don't you have work to do?" You were fuming, how can she accuse you like that? Some nerves this girl has.

"aye ayeee whatever makes you sleep at night boss!" she finally left you alone, face red with the thought of you and umemiya in a romantic relationship. thinking of it now it doesnt seem like a bad idea- wait what are you saying?

As night fell, the streets transformed into a mesmerizing canvas of light and life. The vibrant glow of the street lamps illuminated the sidewalks, casting soft shadows that danced with each passing motorcycle and pedestrian. Pedestrians ambled along, some with purpose and some aimlessly strolling, their laughter and voices creating a symphony of city life. The shops along the street were a kaleidoscope of colors - neon signs, shop windows, and the warm glow of restaurants all contributing to the urban nighttime beauty.

As you strolled down the street, your gaze lingered on the captivating designs of the various restaurants. You couldn't help but stop at grocery stores to purchase charming little snacks that caught your eye. The soft illumination from street lamps created a cozy atmosphere, and the lively hum of the city added to the soothing backdrop. After a few minutes of observing and sampling treats, you continue your journey towards your apartment, feeling a sense of contentment in this routine night-time ritual.

You were abruptly jolted from your thoughts as someone violently collided with you. Irritation flared up, but before you could even snap at the person, you found yourself face-to-face with Umemiya. Surprise replaced the frustration as you recognized the messy-haired troublemaker who frequented your bakery. A mix of emotions - irritation and begrudging familiarity - raced through you. God this could not get any worse.

"[name]-chan? I didnt know you were passing by this street today!" he exclaimed, seemingly happy to see you again.

"yeah me neither.. if you could just excuse me-" you tried slipping away from his grasp but-

"this is also my way to the orphanage! I'll walk you to your apartment like a true gentleman." He had a prideful aura around him but you just dismissed it and walked away.

"heeyy! wait for meee!!"

Umemiya rambled on and on, a never-ending torrent of thoughts and observations flowing out of his mouth at an astounding rate. It was almost as if his brain had an infinite capacity for information. You were stuck in the whirlwind of his conversation, listening to his constant flow of words and musings. It was a mystery as to how he was able to hold, yet alone recall, such a vast amount of random knowledge.

As you arrived at your apartment building, you finally managed to find an opening in the conversation to bid farewell to the endlessly-chatty Umemiya. You gave a tired wave, signalling your need for some peace and quiet. Despite the annoyance you felt towards his incessant chatter, there was an odd fondness underlying it, an acknowledgment of his unique character and his ability to make every interaction memorable.

"Wait! " he shouted, causing you to flinch a bit. "A-are you uh free... tomorrow?" "Are you asking me out?" "no. I mean.. yes, maybe as.. friends?" "i mean, i guess i am,but " in fact you werent. you were supposed to hang out with your friends at a shopping mall.

He made a quiet sound of celebration that you didnt ignore. "You're so cute." "What?" "I said you look like a sack of shit, goodbye."

In terms of costuming; a Hannibal thing that I love but hadn’t thought about very much until recently is that Will’s costuming follows very closely to his arc and his connection with Hannibal. In the beginning we meet both characters, obviously understanding that their personalities/lines of work/ life philosophies are different. They function as foils, which through costuming we see as Will’s rugged, outdoorsy appearance (despite his time spent teaching and the bit of polish he applies there, though I would add that even those outfits are grounded in a very earthy and again outdoorsy, almost reserved palette though both color and texture, true to Will) next to Hannibal’s tailoring and neatness etc etc etc.

I sort of always viewed Will and Hannibal’s dressings as a reflection of their attitudes about social niceties; Will’s ruggedness matching his general aversion to people and inability to engage in regular conversation if he isn’t absolutely being forced to, while still struggling to hold eye contact and uphold other unwritten social rules even in those cases, while Hannibal’s Polish and affinity for luxury exists as a manifestation of the high importance he places on politeness and other social niceties. ( “eat the rude” comes to mind). Point is, Will doesn't value social nicety and operates as such, whereas Hannibal values it greatly, viewing rudeness as just about the worst thing a person can be/do, and their respective costuming reflects that.

Hannibal’s costuming is consistent (and just so damn good) throughout the series. And it’s not that he doesn’t change so much as it’s that his costuming is not relevant to the ways in which he is changed. Most of the change he faces at Will’s hands catapults him into emotional turmoil, and though it’s no less real than the becoming that Will endures, it’s visible only to the two of them, and thus not projected outwardly in a way that the other characters and/or the audience would notice. He’s changed by Will, undeniably, but is unchanged in his ability to put on a front and remain unpredictable to those around him (Alana said it best, “Hannibal is always playing,”). Therefore his aesthetics remain as they always do, Will’s is where things get interesting.

There are a few moments in season 2, Yakimono and Su-Zakana both present us with a side of Will's costuming that is undeniably a result of Hannibal's influence. In Will's mind, in order to double cross Hannibal and play both side to expose him as the ripper, he appeals to Hannibal's love of social nicety, dressing in a more polished manner than he usually does. (and yes I am aware that the love story of it all just makes it appear that Will's dressing to impress is a way of courting Hannibal, but that's neither here nor there...)

Season 3, however, is my greatest example of this for a few reasons but mainly because prior to 3B and their reunion in Dolce, Will looks stylistically very different than we have seen him look before (talking specifically in terms of costuming here). Despite Will and Hannibal being the farthest away from each other we have ever seen them, and presumably the longest and farthest they have been away from each other since the beginning of the series, they have, in many ways, also never been closer. Though the events of Mizumono and Hannibal’s escape to Europe put the two at a physical distance, Will’s desire to get close to Hannibal by exploring his childhood home and his past, and chasing the tableaus that Hannibal leaves for him confirms that their connection is alive and well; most obviously through the way he dresses. He leans more into the tailoring that we usually find in Hannibal's costuming ("you and I have begun to blur") and away from the flannels and earthy browns and greens into more structured pieces like the coat he wears when meeting Chiyoh for the first time. Another great example of this disregarding the fact that he was dressed by Mason and Cordell is the suit he wears in Digestivo, the tailoring and grooming largely indicative of his descent into madness and arguably intimacy with Hannibal. He is dressed most like Hannibal as their persuit of Dolarhyde comes to a head in Wrath of the Lamb; Will shedding all of his usual attire for a very polished look that is a clear derivative of Hannibal's

At the beginning of 3B, after the time skip, there is a very stark difference between the tailoring and polish of his looks in 3A and his closeness to Hannibal then in comparison to the very mountaineered and lived in dressings we see him in after his marriage to Molly, and subsequent distancing from Hannibal. With Hannibal in prison, the two are closer in distance then they had been since Mizumono, yet the most disconnected they had ever been emotionally, Will's desperate attempt at a grasp for normalcy and continued rejection of Hannibal post-Digestivo.

real talk i actually do put like. an unreasonable amount of effort into my textpost memes behind the scenes so it's actually really rewarding to get to share them thanks for putting up with my antics

#zanna talks #like first off i'm always doing my best to make sure they are not only in character but actually over a frame that makes SENSE in context #(many of my memes are incredibly situationally specific bc of this)#but on top of that i want them all to be consistently formatted so i have to track down the og textpost to get my own screenshot if #the one i have on hand is too low quality/weirdly formatted/in one of the tumblr color palettes other than classic #which adds a lot of extra work. but i want them to be nice and consistent and i want ppl to be able to screenshot the textpost for their #OWN textpost memes and have it look nice bc how i started out was by doing that and it's HARD to find non-crunchy ones sometimes #and THEN i have all the extra work of getting 1080p screenshots (forgive me. some are 720p and you can TELL. my wifi is bad) which #(bc of bad wifi) takes HOURS. and then i have to format them all so they're the same pixel ratio without weird white lines anywhere.#and THEN i have to put the textpost on top and arrange it so it looks nice graphically #and THEN i have to arrange them all in sets in chronological order but without too many from one movie or scene or of one character #(this is bc i am a freak)#so like. by the time u see these things i have put HOURS of work and careful consideration and curation into them #i do not do this lightly im deeply unwell #so yeah um. this has been a Post. explaining my unhinged process.#did i mention ive made over 200 for narnia hahahhahahah anyway #(and yes the fact that the tumnus one i made is on dark mode means i spent A FULL HOUR trying to find the og or a different screenshot #and could not and that KILLS ME.)

#the tiny house i based my own blue print off of is for sale at 110000 across the country #if my ass weren't broke id hop on that and drive all the way over to get it #but also 110k for a tiny house on wheels is pretty outrageous especially when these things were originally marked at a cap of 65k #once upon a year now no one can afford them #i do want a home someday and I'm also finding I'm nomadic by nature #dream would be have a “home base” with land thats permanent #but as soon as winter comes i can pack up and move south or wherever is warmer for several months before returning #that would be great for minimizing fibro flares getting away from the cold #heck if remote work ends up getting me good money after i pay off a huge chunk of medical debt i wouldn't mind #being a digital nomad for a few months out of the year #go see people i like across the pond see pompeii see rome see ireland see spain see australia see japan #so many....#theres people that want to hear the pitter patter of tiny feet before they die #then theres me that wants to see all the cool ancient human things before it disappears or before i leave earth and go home #one of the few big fears i have is it wont happen in this life #but hey i didnt think i was gonna make it past 23 let alone make it to 32 #i didnt think i was ever gonna get out of my abusive household and out of my old shitty life #but im here so who knows what could happen right?#not magenta or fuchsia but some other pink variation #i just need to roll out a pink color palette and start assigning emotions to them at this point 😂#magenta is my vent word #fuchsia is my vent word for good things #idk wtf this is its a combo

I run a modded Minecraft server for my friends & me, & we run the spectacular Cobblemon mod (it's REALLY good, cannot recommend it enough). Not all the 'mons are modeled, though, so we ALSO are running a supplementary Cardboard Cutout Mon, which replaces the default "no model found" substitute doll with a flat sprite.

None of those sprites, however, have shiny forms, so I've been slowly digging through to rectify that :3 + add some additional forms that ain't there. Behold! The only edits I felt were substantial enough to post.

#pokemon #Hisuian Zorua #Hisuian Zoroark #Magearna #Zorua #Zoroark #pixel art #Shiny Edits #pokemon edits #gale chatter #okay you can see that like. if i can salvage a bit of the sprite i will. like magearna is largely unchanged #but for hisuian zoroark that wasn't possible. the design is so different i had to draw at least half that #& you can see that for the 'suians I'm breaking some 'rules' of the sprites (limited color palette) for the gradient effect #but I feel like this is a fair instance of that & am tryna keep it to a minimum #hisuian zoroark & zorua are modern pokemon that don't need to work with limited pixels & palettes & thus are designed accordingly #so in trying to translate them back i COULD self-impose those previous limits on myself but it literally wouldn't change the file size.#see at first i thought these were just like. the little menu sprites in the games. but i pulled a low key toxtricity in bc i couldn't find #& the size & style are not the same which implies that either 1) the modder got those sprites somewhere else or 2) made them all themselves #i cannot stress enough #hundreds. hundreds of sprites. like i cut out redundant sprites bc the mod hasn't been updated but it is taking me TIME to go back & shiny #also hey yeah the mod is for a prev version & the redundancies are giving me a HEADACHE if i ever fix this up maybe I post the mod tbh #see it doesn't sound that bad until u get biblically accurate cutiefly & texture error cacturne on your doorstep

i got pretty on top of orders at work yesterday so as a treat this afternoon i let myself get invested in detangling a yarn bin & now i’m measuring little yarn bundles for needlepoint kits 👍

#theres some inherent quality about how they choose colors that just alerts my built in final fantasy detector #its not even like 20 cases its more like 100 #when the light the border of light the shadows are all colorful and they really know how to choose brown shades its somehow always a ffxiv #im being deadass about the brown part #like ill go right now find you 12 samples. you pick the ones done with most finesse. it will always be a ffxiv player at the top #if i play will i become the god of color palettes too?#maybe its something to do with how the bloom filter works in that game the artists just get used to it?#not sure but whatever it is i worship them

#art review #year in review #art summary #art meme #my art #i wanted to look at them together :)))#i feel like 2018 is a solid start #2019 was a little rough as i learn a new medium [digital art]#2020 was mw sort of finding brand stability in the types of pieces i did #2021 was pushing myself to really improve with focus on texture and unintentional focus on lighting #and 2022 was a fucking STRUGGLE trying to learn how to put art out consistently while working full time #like for example. jan feb march of this year. i only put out one piece each month #bc i rly dont like my job lmao and it took so much out of me >moving cross country >starting first full time job >moving AGAIN across town #also the piece from july looks wonky to me now but it still is the most polished thing from that month bc i did a bunch of quick art fight p #ieces #unintentional themes for this year: realism. red/teal palettes [or more generally warm/cool contrast].#almost exclusively music fanart or mh/sta stuff #idk im always over critical of my year in review stuff when i first make them then warm up as i become nostalgic #you can also notice a trend of yellow slowly becoming completely absent from my works. this is bc my old laptop had issues with displaying #color and washed yellow out so i never saw it. hence why old drawings of ppl look RLY JAUNDICED. i couldnt goddamn see it #and i dont rly gravitate towards yellow too often #aqua is my fave color in general but also to work with #i didnt do 0 traditional art this year but i felt like i did less that usual probably bc i used to work on my bed but now i work at my desk #which is Very Small and doesnt have a lot of space for me to get out pens or paints or whatever #that and also. less time and energy than in previous years :(#my faves for each year by month: jan-21 feb-19 mar-21 apr-22 may-22 jun-22 jul-18 aug-22 sep-21 oct-#18/21 [tie] nov-21 dec-22 [altho i def seem to always push myself to make sth rly good in the last month of the year tbh]

thinking about the 21 dollar platform boots i saw at the thrift store last month and the 10 dollar skirt i saw at the discount store on tuesday. both of which i dwaddled on when initially seeing and were gone two days later when i decided i wanted to purchase them and went back.

#the boots didn't feel so bad bc they really were a bit too pricey for a thrift store #and i ended up seeing a different pair of boots i liked when i went back anyways #but the skirt. man. 10 dollars. it was suchhh a unique color palette and pattern. idk why i didn't get it.#my reasoning was that it was too short to wear to work and i have enough going out skirts already #but ugh i don't have one with such fun colors yet. :(#some day..... i will find something that cute #likely at a less beautiful price but. you win some. you lose some. 😔#they speak!#in a parallel universe i bought both of them and wear them together to my fun lil hang out this weekend

this is so stupid but i actually quite like jayce's skin on this one--- it looks like its supposed to be

#coloring in general is a bit harder when your line isnt black; at least thats my experience.#you have to play more with colors to make them fit; and also some colors are not... registered as the actual color they are.#like for black i actually use deep purple; but it cant be too deep bc otherwise it ruins the whole aesthetic #with the line being lighter than the filler. i dont use actual black anymore i think; its always some shade or purple.#depending on the other colors i use a very very light shade of pink/red for white. i can also use actual white #but then again; it depends of the other colors lol. and in this case isnt even that light of a color. skin is other issue #i have a palette full of skin colors but i dont really use it for just the color-- i moreso use it as a reference.#then you have me being all stupid with the color wheel for a bit trying to find a color and the saturation that fits the piece.#and dark skins are kind of their own thing; bc otherwise it doesnt give the image of actually being brown #and actually gives the image of idk you fucking slapped a random color on them. and VEEERY rarely actual brown in the color wheel works #rn jayce's color is in a mix between pink and red. but it doesnt looks like that!! it mixes and looks brown in the piece.#i used a different color on the one with chase but that was because the lineart colors were different kjsnfkjndjfds #so yeah for someone who doesnt have that much of an eye for this; this is kind of a training in a way. its ok though #i refuse to go back to pure black lines the thought of doing them sickens me (no that doesnt means i dont like when others do them)#(and no im not saying using black lines its easier or not as worthy or something its not what im trying to say)#sorry for going in a ramble about how i color?? idk sorry i just thought about adding it #iván whispers

#rae rants #i mean. i said im not good at painting faces in the first place. i did say that. but at this scale it's not particularly easy either.#even my nail art brushes were too big for this.#to be clear: they're not finished. i need to add the metallic paint to the tops and the varnish. and two more arnold palmers.#and mayyyybe the word Arizona. for sure on the arnie but idk if I wanna do it on every single one is the thing?#... green tea is there just to make the branding clearer.#i am considering opening my ask box for suggestions on what other arizona cans to do. but also. i would not get them and i know that so.#also i used a bottle instead of a can for the green tea ref and uh. turns out the cam has a blue line at the bottom. but idw do that.#the hardest ones to paint are gonna be the ones w checkerboards. not cuz of the design themselves but cuz.#my paint can be inconsistent even when I DO keep track of how I'm mixing. so I'd have to paint the base color all at the same time.#which means I would have to do all of them on the same day. which means I'd have to dedicate a whole day to like. what? i think its 3 pins?#it's six. and that would probs fill up both of my palettes. if not more fuck me dude #ah. to be clear. after all the painting is done. I'll glue them to hairpins. that's all.#still trying to find the best glue for this stuff. wood glue is what I use for my actual pins. hot glue would probs work fine too #BUT. my hairpins are different. my pins have holes on the back the glue can connect thru. not so on my hairpins.
