Height: 179 cm
Birthday: 1 Rexim 1062 (Hakha)
Orientation: Cisgender Polysexual Male
Pronouns: Ne/Nim
Species: Dullahan (formerly elf)

Country of Birth: Balwirk
Likes: Anything sweet, children (non-romantic), music, the Tenth Dullahan (as a role model)
Dislikes: Milk, eggplants, the Unois Empire
Hobbies: Rock climbing, entertaining others with nis magic, dancing
Personality: Friendly and charming, ne has no problems winning others to nis side. Ne's also a sympathetic being, which endears others to nim, though one should never mistaken that as patience, for even ne has nis limits and can say extremely cruel things in the heat of the moment. Despite nis appearance, ne's actually family-oriented and puts nis family first
Style: Prefers to wear clothes that can survive a few scuffles while allowing nim to remain anonymous as well as complement nis unique hair colour, with post-experiment clothing style heavily influenced by the Tenth Dullahan. Ne always wear a pair of black gloves with nis family symbol on the right glove
Status: Dead (DOD: 15 Tierna 1701)
Abilities: Shadow manipulation, has complete mastery over cosmic magic. Also able to enter the Astral Realm through intense meditation
Background: The oldest amongst nis five siblings, Finbar was raised to be Réiteode's next leader and to be in charge of family affairs by the time ne was 100. As someone possessing Réiteode blood, ne was entrusted with the existence and secrets of the Astral Realm. Taking nis role seriously, Finbar kept nis lips sealed about its secrets and worked hard to succeed nis mother, who was the current matriarch of the Réiteode house
In 1149, there were whispers of a radical group of elven researchers who sought ways to preserve life even after their heads had been severed from the neck. Initially wanting pursue the matter in hopes of showing nis mother that ne was ready, Finbar brought this matter forward but was turned down. It was then explained to nim that the Ilagortas were already investigating into the matter and didn't require the other nobles' assistance
However when Emmet failed to return, this troubled the nobility. Charles decided to follow up Emmet's investigation but went missing himself, as did Eva and Giselle. As more and more nobles went missing along with the commoners, the remaining nobles agreed to not get involved with this matter, no matter how alarming it was as without the nobles, Balwirkian elven society would break down. This didn't settle well with the Réiteodes, especially Finbar but nis mother's words were absolute
Hoping that the Astral Realm could offer nim answers, ne meditated intensely and managed to project nimself into the realm. There, ne encountered Ma Li who was strangely excited of the prospect of Finbar. When ne asked who was behind the disappearances, ne was scolded by the Third Hour for ruining the surprise. Fearing for the worse, Finbar demanded Ma Li to explain what exactly did he meant, only to be slashed by a blade by an irritated Ma Li, whose eyes were both open and was frowning angrily. Ma Li then coldly told Finbar to shut up and forced nim out of the Astral Realm
Shocked, ne winced in pain as ne realised that the wound ne suffered in the Astral Realm was brought over to the mortal realm. Finbar assumed that deities did watch over Ratein and that the Third Hour was one of them. Not wanting to explain his injury to anyone, ne hid that ne entered the Astral Realm seeking advice. Finbar decided to keep track of every missing case in Balwirk in hopes of finding a trend, but couldn't find any as the missing elves were all random
However in 1174, ne had discovered that a group of elves that were interested in research kept appearing in the neighbourhood where the Soféinaiths, who were known researchers themselves. This led Finbar to suspect that the Soféinaiths may be involved in the kidnappings, and ne brought this discovery to nis mother, who decided not to step down until the disappearances could be explained. While nis mother, the Ilagortas and the Grástes believed nim, the rest of the nobles were sceptical and refused to consider it out of pride. Finbar was frustrated and declared that ne was going to investigate into the matter regardless, and upon arriving at the neighbourhood in Vierum 1175, ne was warned by Dylan's parents, who were leaving Balwirk, to stay away from the Soféinaiths as that was how they lost their son
Boldened by their confirmation, Finbar sought out the Soféinaiths and was invited inside. Once ne was inside their parlour, the Soféinaiths admitted that they were involved with the disappearances as they were carrying out an experiment to save Fiona. Finbar then inquired about her wellbeing, to which they happily revealed that her health had improved. Shortly after, they were insistent in escorting nim out of their residence, to which ne protested and demanded to speak to Fiona. They refused, and Finbar had to fight nis way past them, stumbling into the basement where the experiment was held. There, ne saw numerous dead bodies, all belonging to those who went missing in Trieme 1174
Caught, the Soféinaiths admitted that after Fiona survived the experiment, there was no real reason to continue to experiments. However, they were convinced that an army of dullahans would benefit Balwirk in case of wars in the future. Finbar then exclaimed that they were mad and wanted to leave, but was knocked out by the other researchers and woke up strapped onto an experiment table, nis head separated from nis body and a fire blazing out from nis neck. As ne screamed in terror, the researchers carved the number 13 on the back of nis left hand and restrained nim in magic-draining chains, locking him in the room where Charles, Eva and Berine were
After explaining how ne ended up getting experimented on, prompting Berine to raise the possibility that Cain was behind the researchers' decision to kidnap nobles. Finbar shared that it was unlikely to be Cain as he had also disappeared, though ne admitted that at that point, the researchers were so far gone that it was unclear if Cain had influenced them prior to his disappearance
After an undetermined length of time passed, Addyson blasted the door open with her sound magic and was able to free Berine and Finbar before returning to deal with the researchers. The freed dullahans proceeded to free Charles and Eva, the four of them spreading out to find and free the remaining survivors. Once freed, they killed the researchers, mostly out of self-defence
After everything was over, the 16 dullahans gathered and discussed on their course of action. Despite their distaste towards the entire act, they kept the notes and studied it. Aileen was able to identify the flaws in the research notes, which cultivated in the alarmingly high mortality rate. Together with Eva, Hywel as well as Ilias' existing research on arcane magic, the trio was able to create a ritual that tapped onto Ratein's ley lines which made it safer to turn someone into a dullahan. Afterwards, they destroyed the original notes such that no one could ever attempt the cruel methods used to create dullahans again
Brianna and Danielle then pointed out that the very notion of turning someone into a dullahan was unthinkable, and sought to get an unanimous consensus that under no circumstances should the 16 turn others into dullahans unless the individual in question was prepared to bear the curse of being one. Finbar naturally agreed, relieved that Balwirkian society was safe from the threat and that nis mother could finally be at ease and enjoy a peaceful retirement
While nis family welcomed Finbar back with open arms, public opinion towards them were unfavourable and the noble houses that accepted that dullahan children were stripped off their nobility despite Emmet's efforts to rally against the opinion. Understanding the Réiteodes' importance in Balwirk due to their ability to enter the Astral Realm to seek for answers, Finbar decided to step down as the next in line and let nis brother be in charge instead. Surprisingly enough, this action allowed the Réiteodes to receive a fair amount of support from the nobles. Finbar then decided to improve nis family's reputation amongst the commoners, managing to win a significant majority over and helping the impoverished to the best of nis abilities
In 1583, Eva had visited nim and pitched the idea of stocking up on supplies in Balwirk in case of an Unoisian invasion. Finbar agreed, the Soféinaiths' comments about dullahans serving as an effective army, while nauseating, ringing true to nim. The Thirteenth Dullahan decided that Eva's idea was far more palatable and ethical than the Soféinaiths' experiment and agreed to expand this idea in Balwirk. Finbar then informed Eva about the impoverished Balwirkians that ne had been helping for the past few years, hoping that her husband's soup kitchen would be better equipped to help them than nim
Eva agreed to help the mentioned impoverished, which made Finbar hopeful. Ne then went about executing Eva's idea, taking heavy inspiration from Hywel's efforts in the Mekalza Empire. Aware that Charles was also heavily involved in helping the community, ne sought him out frequently, getting to know the Second Dullahan better over the years. Finbar decided to confess to Charles in 1624, the latter happily agreeing. However, whenever ne tried to get to know more about Charles' private life, the Thirteenth Dullahan was constantly shut out as politely as Charles could manage, which made Finbar feel that ne couldn't be trusted
Wanting to know if ne was the exception, Finbar decided to ask everyone Charles and Berine was still in contact with. Ne learnt that Charles kept secrets from everyone but Berine, who was even more tight-lipped than the Second Dullahan. Giselle, nis final contacted being, warned nim that it was best to let it go and accept that it was who Charles was and that it didn't mean that the Second Dullahan didn't trust Finbar nor loved him any less. This didn't assuage Finbar, who was convinced that a healthy relationship of any nature needed to have a level of trust between the concerned parties. Giselle, whose personality was similar to Charles and Berine, disagreed with nis definition of trust and claimed that ne was simply insecure. This spiralled into an argument with Finbar eventually saying that this was why Bianca left Giselle, which the latter responded by attacking nim with her lightning magic and yelling at nim to get out
Leaving Giselle's residence, Finbar returned to Balwirk and confronted Charles in 1678, all while reminding nimself to restrain nimself and not say anything hurtful like what ne did to Giselle. During the confrontation, Finbar expressed that while ne still loved him, ne was tired of Charles keeping secrets from practically everyone but Berine, and questioned if he was actually ready to enter relationships given his private nature. Charles tried to diffuse the situation by explaining that he didn't wish to burden Finbar with his troubles, which pushed the Thirteenth Dullahan past nis breaking point as ne wanted to share Charles' burden, no matter how dangerous it was. Armed with fury and an unconscious jealousy towards Berine for being the one privy to Charles' secrets, Finbar lashed out him by stating that Eva was never happy with him during their relationship and that Charles was using Berine's gratitude towards him to do his dirty work
Finbar immediately realised the gravity of nis words and wanted to take them back, but found nimself unable to say anything as as much as ne wanted to remain on good terms with Charles, ne actually wanted to give him a wake up call. Still, ne apologised and remained firm in nis stance by suggesting that they should break up due to Charles' personality and that even if he changes, the fact that ne said such hurtful words to him meant that ne couldn't trust him either, something which Finbar genuinely felt that Charles deserved better
Charles sadly agreed, mutually breaking up and going their separate ways. Finbar decided to intensify nis efforts in ensuring that Balwirk was safe from any invasion due to the ongoing wars within the Mekalza Empire, securing an alliance with the Murphys for ammunition as well as preparing the Balwirkians for combat on Balwirkian soil. Ne doubled nis efforts when news of Hywel's death in 1694 reached Balwirk, securing another alliance with the Duxburys in 1696 for both ammunition and intel on the Unois Empire. Upon learning that both families had children of their own, Finbar tried to convince them to walk away in order to be there for their children. They both refused, with the Duxburys saying that they left Relnivon in order to oppose the Unois Empire and would do anything to bring them down, with said sentiment echoing in their children. The Murphys said that they knew it was dangerous but decided to involve themselves with Finbar because they wanted their daughter to grow up in a Balwirk free from the Unoisian threat
Moved by their determination, Finbar decided to drop the topic and continue working with them. At midnight of 15 Tierna 1701, Finbar and the Murphys met up at an abandoned building to discuss details of a planned movement. Unexpectedly, Cain appeared and proceeded to kill the Murphys before nis very eyes. Horrified, Finbar used all nis abilities at nis disposal to defend nimself but Cain proved to be extremely adept with his shadow manipulation abilities and impaled Finbar. As the light left Finbar's eyes, ne could make out Cain using the spilled blood to write a grisly warning to the Balwirkians...

"Alright, let's fuckin' rumble!"

Name: Addyson "Addy" Stríodea
Age: 958

Orientation: Transgender Bisexual Female
Pronouns: She/Her
Species: Dullahan (formerly elf)
Title: The Sixteenth Dullahan
Country of Birth: Balwirk
Likes: Freedom of expression, loud noises, fireworks
Dislikes: Silence, tradition, social expectations, milk
Hobbies: Hosting parties, hobby fireworks
Personality: Fearless, extroverted, and unafraid to say what's on her mind, she gets into trouble frequently. She's good at inspiring others and keeping morale up, but surprisingly hesitant to take on a leadership role. She actually prefers to do things by herself is possible, but that doesn't mean that she's not a team player though and if anything, she's fantastic at it
Style: Glittery singlets with translucent straps and three-quarter pants along with boots that have buckles. Also ties a long sleeved denim shirt with buttons at the sleeves in case she gets cold
Status: Alive
Abilities: Shadow manipulation, proficient with sound magic
Background: Considered the black sheep amongst her family, Addyson was left alone to her own devices as her family shunned her for not conforming to her assigned gender at birth and outspoken opinions about how Balwirk's elven society was a failure. In 1149, there were whispers of a radical group of elven researchers who sought ways to preserve life even after their heads had been severed from the neck. Addyson ignored them, chalking them up to rumours. However by Rexim 1182, the number was estimated to be around twenty thousand which did nothing to allay the worries of the remaining 60 percent of Balwirk
Addyson, fed up with the nobility's lack of action, confronted them and berated them over it. Afterwards, the Réiteode matriarch privately admitted to her that her son went missing after investigating the Soféinaiths and she sincerely hoped that Addyson could do what everyone else couldn't and put an end to the disappearances. Determined, Addyson confronted the Soféinaiths only to be knocked out. She then woke up strapped onto an experiment table with her head severed from her neck. She was facing Aileen, who quickly mouthed for use her magic to break free before she was chained up. Compiling, Addyson amplified her shout such that it stunned everyone present. Addyson managed to wriggle free from the straps and rushed to free Aileen. Afterwards, she located a room where some survivors were locked in and freed both Berine and Finbar, quickly adding that nis mother was worried about nim
Addyson then proceeded to free the survivors in another room, stunning any researchers who tried to stop her with her sound magic. Apart from Gerald, Cain and Fiona, who was in a seperate room with Dylan, the 13 of them killed the researchers and ended the experiment, afterwards they kept the notes and studied it despite their distaste towards the entire act.
Addyson agreed, not wanting the nobles to make things worse should a similar incident occur again
Addyson then spent the next few centuries working hard as an apprentice under a famous pyrotechnician, eventually going independent in Unaiem 1603 and building a reputation as a pyrotechnician that doesn't use magic for her pyrotechnics. Due to her hard work and reputation, she was finally able to afford Corportus in 1675 and transitioned to her ideal physical characteristics. In Trieme 1701, the Balwirkian War started and Addyson, not wanting to wait for the remaining nobles to take action, rallied the Balwirkians against the Unois Empire. However on 18 Rexim 1706, the empire ambushed the Balwirkians, killing a significant majority of the dullahans. This brought the war to an end and separated Balwirk into two halves, with Addyson remaining in East Balwirk to remind the empire that the half didn't necessarily bowed down to them and to never forget what Cain had done despite being a Balwirkian himself
In 1764, Addyson discovered a hidden stash of weapons in East Balwirk as well as a faded message from the Duxburys to Finbar. She decided to move the weapon stash into her residence after deciding that it was easier to blend it in with her pyrotechnics. Even so, she decided to spread the news of the weapons to the West Balwirkians as she knew that the empire's influence didn't reach them yet. Shortly afterwards, Giselle had sought her out with plans to launch a full scale rebellion against the empire, adding that she was also planning to recruit Emmet and Berine
Addyson agreed, and helped Giselle to persuade Emmet to spearhead more violent rebellions by saying that he could use his popularity for good and that Finbar had a hidden weapon stash that almost all of West Balwirk would've been aware about by now. In 1772, Emmet finally agreed and initially used his soup kitchen to accommodate the rebels, moving into the orphanage in 1838. Able to plan in a relatively safe location, the rebels were able to unite East Balwirk, Crex, Lindow and Nantrax together over the years but still weren't enough to go against the empire's military. The turning point came in Dia'ae 1863 when Noah suddenly returned to Relnivon in his true form and caused mass destruction within the country
Due to the sight of a free wyvern openly rebelling against the empire, the dragon captives followed suit, which started a domino effect that led to the Relnivians to openly rebel against the empire. West Balwirk had also seized this window of opportunity to launch another rebellion against the empire, forcing the Unois Empire to divide its resources against three fronts. In order to advance, Emmet, Giselle, and Addyson entered Relnivon to provide the Relnivians with support, which meant working alongside Noah
However, Giselle's death had an impact on Emmet and Berine, something which the latter would insist that it didn't. Addyson could only watch as Emmet made things worse for Berine when he told her something that she couldn't make out but was sure it was about the Balwirkian War. Not wanting the rebels to lose momentum, she rallied the rebels together and informed that with the other countries' assistance, the Unois Empire was sure to fall soon. Addyson was relieved when Emmet and Berine actively participated in the rebellion, though she couldn't help but worry about both of their mental states
On 4 Primna 1865, he and Addyson had managed to corner Cain, who was prepared to kill them both at the cost of his own life. Despite their best efforts, Cain proved to be a competent fighter despite his inability to use magic. Emmet, who wanted to capture Cain alive so that he could face his misdeeds, attempted to freeze him so that he could be brought back to Balwirk. However, in the midst of freezing Cain, the latter had detonated a bomb that would kill everyone within range. Realising that Cain had never planned to leave the war alive, he decided to freeze himself along with the Eighth Dullahan in an ice prison in hopes of containing the explosion. This saved Addyson, but she had to watch the First Dullahan explode along with the Eighth Dullahan
She as well as some of the surviving Balwirkians brought their fellow Balwirkians' bodies to Aocite Cemetery along with Cain's. Hugh planned on burying Cain in the cemetery, but Addyson, who was still enraged over Cain's betrayal as well as the reason why Emmet died, intervened and bitterly reminded him that Cain was the reason why so many of their friends died, imploring him to let his body rot elsewhere. Addyson was then approached to lead Balwirk for rallying the rebels together at crucial moments, but she turned them down as not only did she feel that she would make a terrible leader for the country, she wanted to be as far away from Balwirk as much as possible to distance herself from memories of the war
With her decision made, she decided to travel across Ratein and occasionally came across Danielle during her travels. Currently, she earns money both as a pyrotechnician and as one of the usual winners in the annual Ratein Combat Championship... all while avoiding Balwirk as much as she can
