They’re a brand that uses indigenous weaves from the Philippines to create chic pieces for the modern woman. This one is made of Yakan textile and is handwoven in Zamboanga. If you zoom in, you’ll see the intricate weaves and that gorgeous blend of green and purple. . Jumpsuit is from @mango, heels from @louboutinworld via @vivisbazaar, earrings from @zara, and bangles from Filipino designer @nlagdameo. High-low is definitely my thing in building up a wardrobe. #FilipinoFashionFridays: Wore my @merriambatara earrings to a special lunch a few weeks back. It was hosted by our Ambassador @mtdizondevega for the success of the political consultations between Germany and the Philippines as well as a farewell for Alvin. . Distancing and covid-preventing measures were observed by the embassy officials, and officers of the German Foreign Ministry who were present. And all I needed that day after putting on my earrings was an elegant LBD (thank you @les.ley.j!) and some kitten heels in black as well. ✨ Outfit complete. . I love such pieces that showcase the craftsmanship and talent of our people. This one is not just pretty — it’s so well-made and it’s a lot lighter than it looks! Who says Filipiniana is only for formal events? ☺️ Wearing a #ModernFilipiniana top from Filipino designer @jorel.espina during one of Berlin’s hottest days this year. Fabric was so breathable (presko) and the colours were absolutely perfect for summer! Great for strolls around the city but can definitely dress this up with a skirt and heels diplomatic events too! I love pieces you can mix and match as they definitely go such a long way. .
