I'm finally starting to write more of the Inversion AU! Thinking of it as interconnected one-shots definitely helped

Quick note - the Gangler are pretty much the original series Gangler, but in this universe they've been controlling the city for forty years. Not unbelievable tbh, because they’ve set up underground businesses and some of them seem to be registered (i.e. Giwi and his club)

My biggest fic aspiration is to finish all 2018 fics, one-shots and series, by the end of this year, but realistically speaking the fics I’d most likely finish would be

As for Buildranger and Receive the Flagrant Blessing of God, I’d like to type up everything before posting anything because I want to give them linear timelines

There’s also the LuPato one-shot collection, a fic I owe quatresnuku and possibly the LuPato Kamen Rider AU (I feel like it could end up as a one-shot) that I’ll upload in the future ^-^

Justice (2018-2019) has been renamed Receive the Flagrant Blessing of God and will be about the LuPato inversion AU I had in mind for the past month

The first chapter will probably stay the same. There’s only going to be changes in dynamics and plot execution and other things.

Like a number of my other series, it’ll be interconnected one-shots since writing everything in a linear order stresses me out

And I feel unusually satisfied with these two entries on the aforementioned page

Favourite fic you’ve written: As of late my insecurities and fears have overwhelmed me so while I like my ideas, I hate my writing - so nothing is my favourite right now. I’d love to publish more fics and see what has changed though

Fic you want to rewrite/expand upon: A lot in Kaleidoscope needs to be rewritten, but what keeps me from doing that is 1) the workload and 2) it shows my progress as a fic writer. I’d love to expand upon Science Sentai Buildranger, Receive the Flagrant Blessing of God and Conditionally, Not Under Specific Circumstances. They haven’t been updated since 2018 and I’d like to have more completed works

Share a bit of your WIP or share a story idea you’re planning: I’ve already shared a snippet of my Manwol/Chungmyung fic, so have the opening section to “Dying Fireflies”

They were the survivors.

If Kairi had reins over time, he would reverse the broken howls bleeding into echoes of shattered ice and wind sweeping through the alleyway. In doing so, a VS Changer would never be in his hands, never pointed in a circle, as if promises could be fulfilled the moment words formed.

But the limousine’s headlights flooded the alleyway. Day had fallen into night, without regard to the soul who lost a brother; a man who lost a lover; a girl without a friend. The VS Changer was pointed in a triangle, a three pointed star with limited possibilities. Stars were infinite; people were not.

At the time, that was his perception. He knew what happened when he wanted something.

Most Popular One-Shot: Hard to say because I compile my one-shots into one series, though I think it’s Kaleidoscope as a whole?

Most Popular Multi-Chapter Story: Basically Nothing More Than Fiction?, but for a more “straight forward” multi-chapter story, Salvation Beyond the Laws of Physics has been getting attention and I have no idea why. I think the first chapter needs serious revision (and I’m working on that)

Favorite Story You Wrote: At this point my insecurities have hit the ball and left me thinking anything I write is trash, but I guess I enjoy writing the Coffee & Cake chapters. Especially “Truffles”

Story You Were Nervous to Post: Probably Butterflies Are Self-Propelled Flowers? It’s due to how canonically the two main characters are related and I would never ship them unless they’re explicitly not related in some alternate continuity (quoting a line Moune said in one of my fics - “Incest is wrong”) - but there were bound to be raised eyebrows and negative comments anyway. Same goes for anything in my NS continuity of W. But I usually have the attitude of “I finished a story! Let’s post :D” and don’t concern myself with what other people think of said story

How You Choose Your Titles: Typically I look at my piece of writing, think of a word that can be associated to it, and then I go on Goodreads to look through quotes related to that word so I can mash it into a nice sounding title. Sometimes I use song lyrics, captions from art pieces and photos I like, or maybe I was watching something and a quote really stuck out to me. Anything can be used as a title! Nowadays I keep a sticky note where I jot down all my potential titles

Do You Outline: Sometimes? I usually sketch it out in my head and then write the fic down, but these days I do a lot of skeletons aka outlines in my word documents

Complete: Technically I have about 39 one-shots and works completed across Kaleidoscope, BASPF, Daffodil, Toujours Belle and Nothing More Than Fiction? But series wise, two

Two Dororo fics about Dororo and Hyakkimaru’s time apart (which I haven’t written one word for, good merciful earth...) so I can finish Mingling Crystal Fires

Two Chungmyung/Manwol fics - one is composed to have their courtship days contrasted with their reconciliation of sorts in the present day, the other is an alternate reality where Manwol’s married to Chungmyung, as Yeonwoo as her right hand man and runs Hotel del Luna, so Chanseong has to deal with x3 crazier things

Two new LuPato series - a Goblin!AU and one set in my personal canon universe

I would like to start a Super Sentai collection where Rangers of the same designated colour gather together, get into hijinks and become friends

This prompt @/narashikari sent me about Diamond/Platinum from Pokemon Special. I have zero confidence in it right now because I haven’t read the manga in a while and am terrified of messing up their characterizations

Some continuity of the SBTLOP line focusing a bit more on Sento/Misora. The Grease movie haunts me...

I’d like to try my hand at a Marvel fic, but I think there’s enough authors out there doing it

So far three fics have been deleted

Toujours Belle (a Korean drama fic collection, taken down because I want to believe I can do better than this)

Science Sentai Buildranger (requires another rewatch of Build and heaps of planning and writing)

Receive the Flagrant Blessing of God (originally a Korean drama version of LuPato, it got turned into an AU where Shori, Aya and Shiho become the Lupinrangers, and it needs more time to be cultivated)

I’ve considered editing my past fics since I can’t get out of my writer’s block, but the idea of that just cripples me with - absolute fear

Before going to bed, I ended up with 1200+ words! None of the sections are finished, but it’s a start and I know how I want it to play out!

I found while writing that these Lupins aren’t as...chatty as the original trio. Like, from what I garnered, they all seem like patient, pleasant and kind-hearted folks (not that Kairi, Touma and Umika weren’t the latter trait) who get along without issue and have a different system of interacting/comforting each other/etc. It was obvious from the get-go tbh, but writing headcanons vs writing the story is quite different
