Day 3 - Old OC - Fiadh Soot step cloud

Fiadh ! My little lady, my first character (a Charr ranger)

Formerly of the Soot warband, Fiadh’s an ash legion ranger who really has spend her time out in the wilds to the detriment of her social skills. Her first warband was pretty disfunctional, and while that’s not. Great. She kind of really wishes they hadn’t gone and DIED-

She didn’t languish as a gladium for long however, taking back up with the Cloud warband and changing her name accordingly.

She like. Fairly languishing around level 35 right now, smh. And she has been since 2020! I just didn’t vibe with ranger so much and used a lv. 80 boost on morg and RUINED MYSELF

She’s fun, she has stuff I could work with and I’ll certainly get back to playing a ranger eventually. I just prefer Elementslist and Mesmer right at the moment.

2 What race and profession was the first character you made? Do you still play them?

Ah, poor Fiadh Sootstep (now Sootcloud, after a warband chance), my Charr ranger… myself and my boyfriend made a pair of charr together (he made a guardian). I intended her to be my main, and painstakingly slowly got her to about level 28 before Mórgacht came into my life and stole my attention by virtue of being blue and a mesmer.

I still play Fiadh a little, in hopes I’ll get to grips with playing a ranger. I have plenty of Lore Nonsense for her and Asur, her partner, though.

4. Do you have a favourite playable race?

Sylvari, hands down. I have 3 Sylvari (mesmer, necromancer, thief) and 3 charr (ranger, elementalist, engineer). I keep wanting to make an Asura, but never hit on a vibe I like. I think overall though, I’m a Sylvari person. Something about their joy in the little things.

I love charr names, though.

13. Do you have a favourite story episode (including expansion chapters)?

Aargh this. Is a hard one.

I think I zipped through heart of thorns too fast and too early, honestly. I’d used a level 80 boost, I wasn’t really up to speed on what was going on.

However.

Long live the Litch - absolutely loved it. Also uh. Man whatever the first chapter of Icebrood saga is called?

For- various reasons, I never progressed past the first chapter for. Months… so the whole. Propoganda and such, and then the slightly… odd feelings. REALLY had an inordinate time to sink in.

End of dragons was also just very solid for me overall., as was POF… I’m realising I don’t have a favourite I’m just along for a good time all the time.
