knowing that the top 100 ao3 ships list maker started the entire thing in 2013 to show how underrepresented f/f and poc are makes it all the more bleaker 10 years in with only a tiny blip of difference...

and, like, the lesson here is basically ignore stats and just keep working on the yuri duty, but... man...

#i like to poke at the misogyny hydra thing a lot as a phenomena cause there really is something up with how even girl-majority series gets #insane amount of m/m even when the women are written equal or even better than the men #and like yes the 'safe' answer is that peoples attention is split across different yuri pairings so all the focus and works go into the #fewer m/m stuff but... bleugh.....
