MC who sleeps in longer than Belphie?

Lucifer was a little puzzled when he found you in your room. You were sleeping soundly, with a cozy blanked over and around you, and hugging one of your stuffed toys.

Your face however, showed some dark circles under your eyes, your brows furrowed, and your skin was rather pale. You looked very tired, even though you've been sleeping for more than ten hours.

He had to believe Mammon more now. It was the avatar of greed, after all, who said: "If ya don't believe me, then look for yourself! That human sleeps just as much as Belphie!"

It also didn't really help that you were not really a talkactive person as you rather kept to yourself, and the brothers didn't know you that good because of that.

Now, he sighed as he thought of a plausible reason as to why a human like you could even sleep that long without having to use the restroom or eat something.

Asmodeus stepped in because he needed some money from his sugar daddy oldest brother, and stumbled upon him examining you. The avatar of lust chuckled. "Oooohhh, does our little Lucifer have a feti- Ouch!", he yelped when Lucifer hit him with a rather hard pillow.

"Silent. I am thinking of a reason as to why MC is not awake yet. I mean, we don't know them very well, but still. I'm sure the normal human body can act just perfectly with just 8 hours of sleep."

Asmodeus rubbed his temple in pain as he thought as well. "Maybe they are doing some beauty sleep?"

Lucifer sighed. "I don't know...maybe? But let's have them sleep for a little longer before we wake them up."

Mammon grinned internally when Lucifer subtly apologized. Satan stepped into the kitchen where Mammon and Lucifer conversed. "Shouldn't MC be awake by now?", the blonde muttered, and Mammon looked at Lucifer.

"Yes, they should, but they are still asleep. I don't know why though."

Satan looked at the book he brought with him. "I don't know if this could be of use...but the book I'm currently reading tells something about some people who sleep in because of jet lag. It is when the sleep-rythm gets bothered when a person is in a jet, flying between continents and thus different time-zones, which messes up the rythm.", he explained and Lucifer made an "ah" sound in understanding.

Then he stepped into your room.

"...h-huh?", you grumbled as you stretched yourself. Lucifer stood before you, and he looked at you as you raised your arms. He had a concerned expression.

"Are you alright, MC?", he asked in a gentle tone, and you felt weird for some reason.

Lucifer was actually still a complete stranger, and it just...well, it made you feel weird, but you liked the feeling.

"Yes, I guess I just dozed off from swapping from the humanworld to Devildom.", you said softly, still a bit drunk from sleep, and the eldest brother nodded in understanding.

Just then, Leviathan stepped in with an excited grin as he pointed towards you. "I knew it! You're living the life of (insert a very long manga name which describes protag with jet lag)! ...I-I hope that you're okay though...", Levi muttered shyly when he felt Lucifer's stern glare on him.

It felt nice having people worry about you. You wish you could say the same to the people from your home...

"Thank you. I feel a lot better after my nap. I hope I didn't sleep too much?", you asked, as you yawned.

Lucifer looked at the watch on his hand. "You slept for nearly fourteen hours.", he stated, and your eyes widened.

"Whoah...", you chuckled with a concerned face, and Beel stepped in with some food. "I brought some snacks. I thought you might need it after nearly sleeping for more than half a day.", he murmured, and you thanked him with an excited grin.

"Really?! That's so nice of you! Thank you, Beel!", you exclaimed happily, and grinned even wider.

Beel gave you a close-eyed smile as he began eating a hamburger while you bit into a healthy salad. Leviathan ate some sushi while Lucifer dismissed you guys to attend to his duties.

'Living with you might be a little worrying, but at least you weren't loud...', Lucifer mused to himself as he thought about your behavior and lunged into his paperwork with a small smile.

OKAY but imagine dazai, shortly after oda’s death, taking over winter during his hiatus without anybody knowing. and as the previous anon said, he watches chuuya sleep. chuuya sometimes wakes up, but is still very much half asleep and he sleepily mumbles something and dazai just shushes him, tucks his hair in his ear, and plants a lil kiss on his forehead. chuuya curses his mind for haunting him with remnances of dazai.

dazai only stops taking over winter when he sees a newcomer slicing down ice floes (hmmm… i’m thinking atsushi might take this role! but its up to you! he volunteered as winter watch in my mind bcs he realizes that his inclusions arent particularly picky on which type of light they feed on! i think hed be a moonstone! because “beast beneath the moonlight” plus there’s a moonstone type called a cat’s eye! i also feel like ryuu and gin are both gonna be onyxes, sskk will both have a hardness of 6.5 and have. a weird rivalry… also dazai gets a whiplash when he sees a flash of someone wearing a white uniform suddenly roaming around the land except he hasnt seen this person before)

OH MY GOD. You doing the world building for me I love you for this.I was worried about making the characters fit, but YOU GOT IT DOWN. The Chuuya loving…Dazai would do this any universe, but this one is so bittersweet. Chuuya sleeping in his own secluded corner ever since Dazai left since they hibernated together and still being haunted by Dazai😭 he would hate sleeping then even more then being awake cause Dazai is physically touching him so the feeling is real, but painfully too far away for chuuya to recognize. I like to think dazai would spend days wasting away watching Chuuya spread out in his sleeping attire and tracing his figure with his eyes….ive got ammunition for you all now.

Atsushi would be the best bet too tbh. Dazai would look at him like he’s this strange kid at first because he’s sorta fucking old and atsushi is a little clumsy and not sure of himself. He would also swear atsushi to secrecy over the entire ordeal too when he finds it out. Dazai’s like “no one knows” and atsushi keeps it quiet for like as little time as possible cause he can’t, but chuuya would take it as him trying to start shit probably and get really pissed. moonstone is so real though YOU ARE SO SMART. Ssk rivalry 🤓 beating each others heads in and getting in serious trouble

I was asked to write angst with a happy ending for the Sith Senator Kenobi AU where Obi-Wan believes Anakin has been killed during a mission, so here’s 2.6k of sadness featuring Obi-Wan and Ahsoka before I finish the happy ending part: 

Ahsoka can only remember a few details from the funeral of her master.

In her mind, the memory has the fuzziness of an unpleasant dream, and not the sharpness of an event that happened only yesterday. 

Surprisingly, it was Master Windu who led the ceremony with a gentle voice.  Master Yoda gave a speech, but she can't recall a word of it.  She remembers Senator Amidala trying to blink away her tears.  She remembers Master Jinn's heavy hand on her shoulder when the heat of the flames started to warm her face. She remembers Rex, still as a statue from beginning to end. She remembers Senator Kenobi being the first to leave without a word. 

It took four hours for the pyre to burn to ashes.

"Oh. Hello, young one." 

Senator Kenobi's tone is surprised, but his face is as impassive as ever.

It reminds her of that one time her master said that he would have made an excellent Jedi, and Kenobi immediately proved him wrong, dramatically grimacing at the thought and making Anakin burst into laughter. 

There's no grimace on Kenobi's face right now. His hair and beard are perfectly combed and trimmed, and there isn't one wrinkle on his pristine clothes.  

It makes the deep shadows under his eyes stand out even more. 

"Senator," Ahsoka greets him with a polite bow. "Would you mind if I come in?" 

Kenobi blinks twice before taking a step back. "Please."

She walks into his apartment a bit rigidly, hands clutched around the box she brought, and seats on the couch he points at her. 

If he knew she was here, Master Jinn would disapprove. Her grandmaster has never liked the senator, partially due to his charming public persona which only echoes in a bizarre void in the Force —"some plants are easier to detect that him", she once heard Master Jinn say,— and partially because of his close relationship with her master. 

Ahsoka herself has never known what to make of Senator Kenobi.

Stuck between pretending to ignore the looks he used to share with her master and making sarcastic remarks about it to fluster them both, it now leaves her in an awkward relationship she can't define without mourning for the missing link between them.

Anxiety starts nagging at her as she looks at the box in her hands. Maybe she should have waited. Maybe this was a bad idea. 

"Caf? Tea?" Kenobi asks from the kitchen. 

"Whatever you're having is fine, thanks." 

She hears the cabinet doors opening and closing, water boiling for a few seconds, and then the senator comes back with a teapot and cups on a tray. "I hope you like black tea, then. I never drink caf." 

Ahsoka isn't sure if she's more surprised by a senator not having any personal employee to assist him, or the fact that she can clearly see what looks like a very expansive caf machine on the kitchen counter. 

"How did you know where to find me?" 

"I commed your office first," she admits, refocusing her attention on him. "Your assistant said you were working from home lately, and gave me your address."

Kenobi raises his eyebrows. "She did? Well, that's a surprise. She usually bites people who try to see me without an appointment or a life-or-death crisis. Preferably one with multiple dead people already." 

"Hum, yes, she— She almost brushed me off, but then I told her that I needed to give you something. From my master." 

To his credit, Kenobi, teapot in hand, freezes for only half a second. Then, pointedly not looking at her, starts pouring tea again. 

On the comm, Kenobi's assistant also paused when Ahsoka told her that, before grumbling 'it can't make it worse anyway' and then giving strict instructions about when was the best time to come see him. 

"I see."

She puts the box next to her steaming cup, and stops her hand just before opening it. "There were some... important chips and datapads from previous and ongoing missions that he had in his room, and I was the one who looked for it. So I cleaned a few drawers."

Letting someone else disturbs Anakin's bedroom has felt wrong. Even if she knows that it was only selfishness that pushed her to volunteer to look through his room, she's still glad she did.

No one needs to know how long she spent seating in the middle of Anakin's bedroom, trying to wrap his lingering Force signature around her. Or that it took three hours before she could touch anything in it without feeling like she was breaking one last invisible connection to her master. 

"And I found this box." she taps on it lightly. "This is... I think— I think you should have it." 

"What’s in the box, Padawan Tano?" Kenobi asks behind his cup. 

The proof of my master's complete disregard for the Jedi Code, she wants to say. Ahsoka bites her lip.

It doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter anymore. 

"Mostly datachips with holos on it, a few old tickets for a race, a password-protected datapad and some personal belongings."

"And what that has to do with me?" 

Ahsoka frowns. 

Kenobi doesn't sound like the conversation interests him. His hand moves, and for a second Ahsoka thinks he's going for the box, but instead, he takes the recipient filled with honey and put a small spoon of it in his cup before leaning back on the couch. 

His indifferent expression is starting to grate on her nerves. 

"I took a look at the holos. My master is on it, but you're also there. With him sometimes. Most of them are holoimages, but there are a few longer recordings with sound." Ahsoka has only watched one, but it's still hard to reconcile the man fondly rolling his eyes and telling Anakin behind the holocamera to please, dear, don't waste it on me, with the impassive man with the blank stare in front of her. "I didn't watch all of them, but I think it's safe to say that he wouldn't have wanted anyone else to find them."

"I see," Kenobi says distractingly, stirring his tea. 

Ahsoka's hand is starting to turn into a fist in her lap.

"Do you? Do you really? Do you know about the Jedi Code, Senator Kenobi?" She asks, suddenly opening the box herself and getting one of the datachips and a small holoprojector out.  

"I know enough." 

"Because this," she continues, pushing the chip in it and opening the first holos, "this isn't really approved by the Code. Do you know what the Code recommends, regarding attachment, Senator? To material things? To people?"

Did you love him? she wants to ask, as a holo of Anakin, dressed in light civilian clothes, smiles and makes a rapid 'come one' hand gesture to the person behind the camera. Did you love him as much as he did?  

She presses the next button rapidly, going through a few holos of sunbathed landscapes and olive trees, and then Anakin is holding a glass of wine in one, tasting it in a second, and making a ridiculous face in the third. There's a lot of Kenobi after that, also dressed in lighter clothes than usual, with shades on. Him trying to read a sign in a foreign language but clearly failing, him looking at some old and decrepit ruins in wonder, him with a face covered in sunscreen, sending an unamused look above his glasses at the camera.

Ahsoka's irritation makes her forget to be embarrassed when she goes through some of the holos where they're pressed against each other in such an intimate way that it feels like she's holding their honeymoon holoalbum, but it doesn't stop her from wanting to cry when she catches the tenderness in Anakin's eyes in every holo where he's looking at Kenobi.

It's only when she reaches the one taken at a weird angle where Anakin is lying in the shades of a tree, asleep, his face nuzzled against a red beard, that a hand stops her before she can keep pressing next.

She turns her head toward Kenobi, ready to push him again to get a reaction, but he’s not looking at her. His gaze is fixed on the holo and his face is making a bizarre expression she doesn't recognise. Then, he says, softly, "I told him not to keep any of it."

And then she gasps for air. 

The Force... the Force feels like a void.

Not a blank space, or the faint static she's used to next to Kenobi, but a true void. She chokes a bit on the emptiness of it all, almost sick to her stomach by the vertigo effect. It feels like she's standing near the edge of a hungry precipice, just like what she felt when Master Jinn told her that her master was dead, after she's stopped saying that it wasn't possible and he was wrong wrong wrong. She felt like falling then, endlessly falling and never hitting the ground, and she feels like falling now. Headfirst into the void. A long, endless fall through nothingness.

The void feels like it could swallow her whole and leaves nothing behind. No memory or emotion or connection. 

The void is lonely, and aching, and lonely.

And lonely.

And lonely. 

Then the sound of shattered porcelain resonates in a disturbing echo in her ears and everything stops. 

Ahsoka gasps again —did she stop breathing at one point?— and pants heavily, hands shaking on her thighs.

She violently throws herself against the couch, as if the void is still here at her feet, ready to devour her.  

"That's quite enough of that for now."

Disoriented, it takes a moment before she remembers where she is. Kenobi has already turned off the holoprojector and put it back in the box when she feels capable of forming coherent sentences again. A cup of tea is pushed under her nose, and she automatically takes it. It burns her tongue a bit. She's so glad to feel something so simple and physical that she keeps drinking it anyway. 

Kenobi is standing up now, napkins in hand but not moving. He's looking down at something, stuck still in an aborted move, and Ahsoka realises that there is an ugly stain on his tunic, right on his chest, and that fragments of porcelain are lying all over the floor around him.

She didn't see how Kenobi broke the teapot, but it must have been quite a fall to scatter all these hundreds of tiny little pieces around him. On the white rug at his feet, a large brown stain is expanding slowly but surely through the intricate design of the textile. 

He couldn't have made a bigger mess on purpose. 

"You shouldn't stay here," he tells her, but his eyes stay locked on the liquid still dripping from the edge of the table. "You could hurt yourself." 

"I— yes. Sorry." 

She doesn't know what she's apologising for. She's tense, unsettled, and doesn't dare reach through the Force to find any kind of balance. She doesn't understand what the kriff just happened, but she's not in the mood to look for answers right now.

She just wants to be home. She just wants her master. She just wants to sleep.  

Box under her arm, she takes a breath and stands up, careful not to walk on any fragments of broken porcelain.

"I should go anyway."

"Would you mind letting me see one last thing before you leave?" 

She blinks, surprised. "From... the box?" 

"Yes." 

She hesitates a second, still not sure if this was a mistake or not. But who else could she share it with?  

Kenobi seems like he's giving up on cleaning for now, and dries his hands with a napkin as he watches her put the box on the counter. He takes a moment to look inside this time, before grabbing the datapad and turning it on.

"It's password-protected," she says, just to break the tense silence. "I've tried a few things to bypass it but nothing works." 

"Why do you think it's about me, then?" 

"If you try enough wrong words, a message will pop up to give you a hint." Kenobi sends her a questioning look, but she just shrugs. "Try something. Anything."

"Oh," he says, voice suddenly soft, after putting Anakin's name and surname. "It says it's for my birthday." 

"Yep." 

"'Something that could make a politician cry'?", he reads out loud, intrigued. "What is he talking about? I told him enough times that politicians don't have souls, or—"

His mouth opens in a silent 'oh'. He turns to look at her pensively, and right when she's about to ask him if he's thinking of something, starts tapping on the keyboard. 

The pad beeps happily. 

"Of course," he whispers. "Of course." 

Ahsoka can see his fingers swiping on the pad a few times but she's not at the right angle to see what he's actually looking at.

It would have bothered earlier. Now, her head feels heavy and her mind clouded, and she just wants to go home. The only reason she's not leaving right now is the glint of something in Kenobi's eyes. 

Maybe it's just the reflection of the blue light on the screen. Maybe he's trying not to laugh in front of her at whatever her master had planned for his birthday. 

Maybe he's trying not to cry. 

He turns off the datapad suddenly, straightening up and offering a polite smile that doesn't reach his eyes. The glint is gone. 

"If this is alright with you, Padawan Tano, I would like to keep that box." 

You don’t deserve it, a voice in her mind says. 

But she knows that the box isn't for her. She's a Jedi, and these are just material possessions. Holoimages and a few useless trinkets.

Her master isn't in that box. Her master is in the Force, with her, always. 

She's not certain she should trust Kenobi, but her master did. So she chooses to believe. 

"Okay," she murmurs. "Just... just keep it safe." 

"I will." 

There is no way to know if he means it, but she's definitely not in the mood to reach through the Force and check right now.

"I should go." She turns towards the door, ready to go home and sleep for fourteen hours.  

"Ahsoka."

The surprise of hearing her name in his mouth for the first time stops her hand on the door handle. She's so tired that she barely turns her head sideways, waiting for whatever insipid parting words he will offer her.  

"Anakin was very proud of you. He couldn't stop talking about how great you were going to be as a knight."

Her heart misses a beat. Or three. 

Don't say his name, she wants to say, we managed to ignore it the entire time, why did you have to say his name? But her throat only seems to be able to produce an uncontrollable choked up sound. She can't blink fast enough to see through her tears.

After so long looking for a hint of human feelings in Kenobi, she almost wishes his voice wasn't so gentle right now.

"Please make sure to do all you can to make it true."

She only allows herself to cry once the door slams shut behind her.

Your leg bounced up and down, making soft noises against the padding of the passenger seat. Bucky let his eyes off the road for just a second, his eyes trailing up and down your nervous state. His attention goes back to the busy highway before speaking. 

“Hey, you’re going to be fine.”

You roll your eyes, “easy for you to say, you’ve never met my parents.”

He chuckles, the deep and low sound vibrating against his chest. You could’ve sworn your stomach did summer salts, your heart beating faster by the second. Despite being insanely nervous about Bucky meeting your parents and them finding out it is all a ruse, there was a large part of you that was scared beyond belief about him being your pretend partner. 

You had originally asked Sam to be your fake boyfriend instead, but he had to go back home to see his mom, and Bucky immediately offered his services. You knew he didn’t like you in the way you liked him, so the thought of being his girlfriend for a day terrified you. 

And so here you were, legs bouncing up and down, heart palpitating, sweat forming in the passenger seat of Bucky’s car. He looked over at you once again, his ocean eyes meeting yours for just a split second. There was a kind of look on his face that you couldn’t quite comprehend, a storm brewing in his head. 

“Are they really that bad, doll?”

Your heart fluttered at the little nickname, and you shifted in your seat, trying to ignore the way it made you feel. A sigh left your lips as your head turned to stare out the window, eyes following all of the places you would go to as a kid. 

“They had their whole life planned for me and would always tell me that if I didn’t follow their every footstep, I wouldn’t be allowed back home. There was always a joking hint to what they were saying, but I knew there was truth to what they were saying. I don’t even remember the last time they have talked to me without mentioning money, or even an ‘i love you.’”

Bucky’s hands gripped the steering wheel as he thought about the pressures that your family had put you through; all of your insecurities that you laid upon each other during long nights had all come together. 

Before you could say anything more, Bucky pulled up into your parent's driveway, “we’re here.”

He had given your thigh a small squeeze in support before the two of you got out of the car. You held in a deep breath as he softly knocked on the door, and a hand came to wrap itself around your waist. He felt you tense under his touch, and he gave your love handles a little squeeze.

He whispered into your ear, his breath fanning up against it, “we’ll be okay. I’ll be right beside you, okay?” 

You felt yourself slowly nod, and your eyes trialing up to look at him. Your mother opened the door and smiled, immediately ushering the two of you in. You took off your jackets and followed her into the living room where your father sat reading a newspaper. 

“Welcome home.” 

Her eyes snapped over towards Bucky beside you, a smirk rising as she saw the expensive suit. You all tried to spread out in the small space; your body was practically on top of Bucky on the sofa. A certain warmth spread through your body as Bucky took his hand in yours; the pads of his fingers skating onto your hand made you shiver.

“Who’s this?”

The air was thick with tension as the silence rose beneath the walls of the house. There wasn’t a single sense of warmth that you felt from your parents, just a cold welcome home. Every single time you had come home for the holidays, it was always the same.

They would ask you how your job was, and if you were following the path they set for you, they would cook dinner and eat in silence, prompting them to pat you on the back and sending you away again. The Avengers felt more like your family than your own family ever did. 

Your father didn’t even look up from reading when he spoke; you had to stop yourself from rolling your eyes. Bucky could sense your discomfort and squeezed your hand, his thumb swiping back and forth in support. 

“This is my boyfriend, Bucky.”

You could see from the corner of your eyes that your mother tensed; it was quite visible. Your hand subconsciously squeezed Bucky’s; your eyes danced in between your parents as they shared a look.

“What an odd name.”

He just chuckled beside you, and you were about to open your mouth, but he beat you to it. 

“It’s a nickname, miss. My first name is James.”

She pursed her lips in disapproval still, your eyebrow-raising slightly at her behavior. You haven’t been here for five minutes, and you already wanted to dart out the door. If you were being honest, you would have been perfectly content spending the holidays with just Bucky and Bucky alone. 

“What do you do for a living, Bucky? I noticed your exquisite tailored suit. Maybe a CEO perhaps?”

There was another beat of silence as you wanted to roll your eyes again. You leaned against the coffee table to grab a glass of eggnog, taking a few large sips. This was going to be a long night. 

“I’m a part of the Avengers, I work to protect global stability and peace.”

Your father almost choked on her vodka, the name Bucky Barnes now popped into frame. He knew that name was familiar and he finally understood why. He set his drink down and gently wiped his lips with a napkin. 

“Really? That’s not what the news said, isn’t that right, dear?”

He turned towards your mother, a slight gleam in his eye that was set with a hard look. 

She nodded, “You’ve been on the news for terrorism. That doesn’t sound like global stability to me.”

You felt Bucky go still next to you, his face falling in despair. You felt your blood boil and your heart race against your chest in such ire. But before you could say anything, your mother spoke up again. 

“Sounds like you are nothing but trouble to me. How do we know you’re not here to kill our daughter? You’re a murderer, and yet you think you’re good enough to date my daughter?”

“Enough!” 

Your parents stare at you wide-eyed at your outburst. Your hand that wasn’t intertwined with bucky’s had tightened into a fist. 

“If you had paid attention, mother, you would’ve found out that he was being controlled by Hydra. Bucky is the sweetest—nicest person that I have ever met. He is such a goofball, but he’s the smartest person I know. He’s attentive and sweet; he takes care of me when I’m sick and a coughing mess. He stays up late when I can’t sleep, trying to entertain me,” you pause, your face turning towards his for just a second, his eyes wide and searching your face for any lie. He found none. 

“He’s more family to me than you two will ever be. Now if you’ll excuse us, we’ll be leaving now.”

You don’t waste a single moment before dragging Bucky out of there and trying to gather your things as quickly as possible. Before getting into the car, you stop him by gripping his wrist. Your eyes well with tears as you thought about what your parents had said to him. 

“I’m so sorry, Buck. I should’ve never brought—”

Your eyes widened in surprise as you felt a pair of soft lips on yours, large hands cupping the apples of your cheeks. Your lips melded with his, and you started to relax, letting out a whine at the fiery sensation. Your hands move down his chest, nails dragging against the coarse material of his dress suit. His tongue is devouring your mouth, his heart pounding against yours in a loving embrace. 

“I’m never letting you go, sugar.”

OKAY HERES THE PATTERN FOR MY HEXAGON BLANKET which looks like this ⬇️

for worsted weight yarn:

cast on 20.

row 1: k to end.

row 2: k, kfb, k until two stitches from end, kfb, k

rows 3-4: k to end.

repeat rows 2-4 (i just think of it as two plain rows between every row with increases) until you have 40 stitches on the needle OR the slanted sides formed are the same length as the cast on edge, depending on your gauge. i measure the sides with my free needle. this is the first half of the hexagon! from then on:

row 5: k to end.

row 6: k, ssk, knit until 3 stitches from the end, k2tog, k.

rows 7-8: k to end.

repeat rows 6-8 until you have 20 stitches left on the needle OR the sides are all the same length/the hexagon matches itself when you fold it in half, depending on your gauge. then cast off loosely and you have a blanket panel!

more tips:

this pattern can be adjusted easily for different yarn weights. for example for a bulkier yarn i may only cast on 12-13 stitches and only do one plain knit row in between every increase/decrease row; for sock weight yarns i cast on something like 30 and do three plain knit rows between every inc/dec row.

i have a hard time staying consistent and sometimes forget how many plain rows i’ve done even with how simple this pattern is, so i found it helpful once i knitted a hex i thought was the perfect size to trace it on a piece of cardstock and keep that on hand as a template. when i’m knitting a new one and i feel like something is off i can hold it up to the template and see like “oh my gauge is too tight” or “it looked finished to me but if i cast off now it’ll actually be too short”

i leave the tails really long so i can use them to stitch the panels into the blanket as i finish them (hence the loose ends in the photo lmao). i know there are better more elegant solutions to blanket construction but i’m lazy and i don’t care and i think it looks plenty cute.

and that’s about it!! i like this project bc every time i knit a panel i get that little buzz of Finishing Something and the satisfaction of completion even tho the blanket itself has been growing really slowly, and it looks cute with mismatched colors/weights so i can just buy whatever nice/cool yarn i want in affordable quantities instead of having to stress about not being able to buy a bunch of matching yarn all at once.

Unexpected Surprises

AN: Y/F/I is your favorite ice cream

Nervously you made your way over to Scoop’s Ahoy where you knew your boyfriend Steve’s shift should be over soon. The two of you had been together for some time now since you started dating soon after him and Nancy broke up, and you would be lying if you said you didn’t love the guy. The only problem was, sometimes life gets in the way no matter how careful you are.

You wipe your palms on the front of your jeans out of nervous habit as you catch sight of Steve behind the counter scooping ice cream into a cone for the little girl before him. As he hands the cone over his eyes catch yours and his face lights up in a bright smile. You try to return the gesture but by the confused look that appears on his face you can tell that he seen right through you. If you weren’t already planning on letting Steve the information you found out earlier today before, you definitely had to now. 

Trying to steady your breathing you sink into the closest seat to you and wait for your boyfriend to finish work. According to your watch you had about ten more minutes before his shift was over, so that meant you had ten minutes to figure out how you would tell your boyfriend of a few months that you were pregnant. All you could do was hope he didn’t freak out too much or break up with you over it. Sure you both only worked part time jobs, but that didn’t mean that this would be impossible. Somehow, someway the two of you could make this work, you just know that you could if you tried hard enough. 

Steve sliding into the seat across from you with a cup of Y/F/I dragged you from your thoughts abruptly, “Hey pretty girl,” he says warmly with offering you the ice cream with a small smile. 

“Hi,” you murmur hesitantly as your scoop some of the frozen treat onto your spoon.

“What’s wrong?” he questions instantly sensing that something was off with his girlfriend. 

“I need to tell you something, but I think it would be better if we talked on our way home or once we get there,” you explain looking up to examine your boyfriend’s expression. 

“Okay,” he says silently eyeing you for any clues as to what’s wrong, “Is everything okay? Between me and you I mean.”

“It depends how you take the news,” you mutter sliding the other half of your ice cream to him like the two of you typically did. 

He looks up at you with a nervous and uncertain expression but nods anyways while finishing off the ice cream. Once he was done he stood from his seat and threw away the empty container before waiting for you by the exit. Neither of you spoke a word to the other until you were both comfortably settled in the car and driving towards your house. 

“So, what is it that you needed to tell me?” Steve asks breaking the silence that had settled between the two of you. 

Nervously you played with the hem of Steve’s t-shirt that you had on that day to hide the fact that your stomach was in fact growing. For a minute you were going to back out and make up some lie, but you knew that you couldn’t hide it from him forever. He is your boyfriend who you actively have sex with, he would notice the minute he seen you naked. 

Releasing a shaky breath you shift your gaze to the windows in front of you, “I recently realized that I’ve been gaining weight-.”

You’re sentence is cut off by Steve’s laughter, “you look perfect pretty girl I don’t care about how much you way.”

“Steve, I wasn’t done. There is more to the story and you might not like the ending,” you explain causing his laughter to die down, “That I realized I have had the same box of tampons in the bathroom for a couple months now.” “You always get the same brand babe, even I know that,” he says cutting you off again.

“Steve, I only have so much courage to do this and every time you cut me off it diminishes.”

“Sorry.” 

“It’s okay,” you say before taking a deep breath and letting it all spill out, “It wasn’t that I had the same brand, I had the exact same box. The amount in the box never changed. So I brought it up to Nancy and she made the joke that I might be pregnant. She wasn’t serious but the moment she said it a lightbulb went off in my head. I could’ve possibly been pregnant.” The next day, after work, I stopped at the drugstore because I knew that you had a late shift and I took the test. I threw the test away because I didn’t know when to tell you or if I even wanted this. I do, no matter if you are with me or not.”

“What are you trying to tell me Y/N?” 

“That I’m pregnant.” 

The moment you say pregnant he slams onto the brakes swerving off to the side of the road, “What? Y/N you work at The Gap and I sling ice cream for a living. Hell I couldn’t even get into college if I wanted to, how am I supposed to raise a kid?” 

“My parents could help, I know they would if we asked. And I ran into this woman who was shopping at my job last week before any of this even happened. She saw one of the drawings I was working on by the register when she came over to cash out and liked it. Long story short she asked me to come work for her as a sketch artist for her books and all the other stuff her company does. Her employee now is moving away and she really needed a replacement so I start next week.”

“I really don’t know if we can do this Y/N,” Steve mumbles pulling back onto the road and setting off for your house. 

When the two of you arrive he slows to a stop but doesn’t shut off it off as he turns to you, “I’ll pick you up for work tomorrow,” he murmurs before kissing you goodbye quickly leaving you confused and slightly hurt. 

Steve’s attitude didn’t change for the rest of the week and by the following Tuesday you were way passed having your feelings hurt. Now you were furious that he wouldn’t even properly face you. What used to be car rides filled with laughs to and from work each day turned into an awkward silence that was so deafening it made you want to walk. 

Today he wasn’t allowed to be silent and push you away. You convinced your boss to let you out early and made your way over to Steve’s job. He was going to talk to you one way or another by the end of the day even if you have to make him talk. 

The moment you arrived you knew there wasn’t going to be any talking about the issue between you two. In a corner booth Dustin, Steve, Robin, and Erica were sat around a table as the young girl munched on a bunch of ice cream. Whatever they were doing Erica apparently didn’t like, but judging by the amount of ice cream in front of her and the look on Steve’s face she apparently agreed to it. 

All their talking stopped the moment you approached the table and an awkwards silence took its place in the air, “Uh, can we talk for a minute Steve?” you ask trying to ignore the tension surrounding the table. 

“We’re actually kind of busy right now,” he replies in an attempt to get you to leave without talking. 

“Well this is important,” you persist. 

“What we are doing is probably way more important than whatever it is you are freaking out about,” he mumbled lowly. He thought you wouldn’t hear it but you did and your heart dropped to the pit of your stomach the moment the words registered in your brain.

“If it’s that important to you than fine, but you aren’t going to keep pushing me away Steven. Whatever it is that you are doing I want to be involved.”

“Y/N, no. That’s not a good idea”

“Why not?” you ssk crossing your arms over your chest in annoyance.

“Because it could be dangerous.” 

“You’re letting Erica be apart of this and she’s only like ten. Plus after last year I think I can handle it.”

Steve goes to argue with you again but Dustin cuts him off, “She’s right Steve, she was a major help. Especially after you got beat up by Billy.”

“What happened last year?” Robin asks in a confused tone. 

“It’s a long complicated story,” you reply casually. 

“So is this one,” Robin agrees with a nod. 

“Knowing these boys I can imagine,” you say with a small smile before slipping into the booth beside Dustin. 

Once seated Robin and Dustin began to explain what was going on right within the very mall leaving you slightly shocked but even more worried. You agreed that you were going to help them much to Steve’s dislike then set off to get ready. 

“I really don’t think you should come with us later,” Steve mumbles on the way to your house later that day.

“Well you really don’t have a choice, especially if this is more important to you than discussing our child.

We updated each other on our lives recently, and had lunch together too⭐. However, essentially it was Masana listening to me talk hahaha. That part hadn’t changed at all lol. I felt that, as expected, this sense of security/relief and peace I feel when I’m together with Masana is really great~~. For 2018, I’ll need to learn how to prevail over my loneliness😭. Always stay by my side okay… ~ 2018.1.2: Good morning 😆. Today I’ll be meeting with a certain someone I’ve been separated from for a month 🎵🎵. I’ll report back again in a bit 🎵🎵. ~ 2018.1.1: Happy New Year 😆. I’m really, truly so extremely grateful for being able to perform Oogoe Diamond at Kouhaku!! I couldn’t hold back my tears… this is probably the first time being able to end the year with such happiness!! It’s both the best ending for the year 2017, and the best beginning for the year 2018⭐. Okay, this sounds so cheesy, but while Dazai isn’t much for dancing, when Chuuya is having a rough day, he turns on the radio and grabs the redhead’s hands, and holds him close as they sway side to side, pressing kisses into his hair.

Chuuya will sit down next to Dazai and pull his head into his lap, humming and singing softly as he cards his hands through the brunette strands. Sometimes he’ll just tell him little kid stories like Kouyou did when he was young. Dazai will almost always fall asleep with his head in Chuuya’s lap.

Shin Soukoku

Atsushi doesn’t know what to do when Akutagawa starts feeling comfortable enough to show his hard times to him, but he tries. So far, he’s found that Aku actually really likes playing chess, so he buys a vintage chess set and convinces him to play.

Akutagawa, like Atsu, has no freaking idea at first. But then Chuuya teaches him how to make chazuke, and now when Atsu’s having a bad day he’ll make him a bowl. He also kicks up his snarky comments, but never directed towards Atsushi. He’ll mutter things into Atsu’s ear that will have the weretiger roaring with laughter.

OK so it’s a corner called “Thank you, Mayuyu”. They’re doing it since Mayu announced graduation at SSK and Yuki wanted to finally take it all out and talk about Mayu for like 10 minutes straight. First thing first, she addresses their relationship. As said many times, given that they’re both the only two left from 3rd generation, they’d sit next to each other in dressing rooms or shooting-locations, always, and they would understand one another without the need of too many words, like only looking at each other is enough to them. 

Then she starts with saying what are the things she likes about Mayu. First of all, she says she likes her face. She says she’s pretty and that, whereas normal human beings sometimes have got their “bad-days” where their looks or face sometimes don’t look OK but kinda bad, she says that in 10 years she has never seen Mayu with a “bad look” or “a bad face”. Even when she isn’t feeling OK, she looks pretty. She thinks that’s something amazing. More thank liking that thing about her, she actually admires it. 

Then she says, another thing she likes about her is the fact that she doesn’t use emojis on LINE when they talk. She says you’d think she’d use the cute, girly type of emojis, but she actually doesn’t. She only uses words and exclamation marks and stickers. And then she says something like she won’t send you very long messages, like those people who actually send you long paragraphs when they wanna talk about something? She says she rather sends like one long sentence one after another. And she says she finds this thing cute about her. 

Another thing she likes about her is how much Mayu loves meat. Then, you know how Mayu has always been bad with vegetables, right? She never liked them. Then, actually, to everyone’s surprise, apparently it’s been a few months that Mayu is actually eating vegetables. And it looks like that Yuki was the one person who was there when Mayu finally began eating some. They were out eating Teppanyaki and salad came with it, but maybe the way the plate was adorned, maybe how the salad looked, that together with the good-looking thing she also enjoyed the taste of the salad. She was actually able to eat it. But then again, she still would get no.1 excited about meat and especially about karage, and Yuki says she also loves that about her. 

She says there isn’t enough time to tell how many things she likes about Mayu, so she moves to the following theme, that is: “If you were to be reborn as Mayu”.

She says that if she were to be reborn as Mayu, she’d like to use her face to try all different types of make-up on. She says that, because Mayu has got such a beautiful face, she believes any kind of color would suit her, so she’d try that since she can’t with her type of face and skin. Then, she says she’d use Mayu’s body to do things Mayu would never do (VERY DIRTY THOUGHTS RIGHT NOW MORE-ON OKAY BYE), also in order to make other people shocked. Like, for example, Mayu doesn’t like crowded places, so she’d go to Shibuya, for example, and make everyone shocked by that. Or, she’s not an out-door person, she doesn’t go out a lot, nor she goes to places like the beach, so she’d do that and again make everyone shocked. 

Then, she goes to the following theme: “Which one is Watanabe Mayu?”

In this session, she had to look at two different pics of body-parts and guess which one was Mayu’s (the other one being of another member randomly). Long story short, she guesses all three of them corrently (nose, lips, eyebrows) and she keeps saying that she thinks Mayu is beautiful and that the reason why she got all of them right is because she actually spends a lot of time looking at Mayu, even unconsciously. And that she’d like to have Mayu’s face so much she’d like to exchange even just one part of her face with Mayu’s. That’s about how much she likes Mayu’s face.

Final theme is: “Something Mayu does”. She talks about how Mayu gets more excited and all “crazy”-like more in the dressing room, or when they’ve got time off from various shootings, than on-air during the shows. She says that prolly fans and other people might’ve caught a glimpse of how Mayu really is, lately, even on-air, however she says that the way Mayu gets all crazy during break-times when you touch her “weak-spots” is almost unbelievable. She says that her and Mayu both have common “weak-spots” when it comes to humor and laughing, so if other people would listen to what they’re talking about when they’re having the best of fun during breaks or stuff like that, nobody would care, nobody would laugh. But because her and Mayu are so alike and they even have similar tastes in what they find hilarious and what not, they always end up laughing like crazy and having the best of time together during breaks. Like they’d suddenly burst out laughing very laudly or stuff like that. She also points out how Mayu’s laughter is also very distinctive and peculiar. She says she also loves that about Mayu, how she gets all excited and crazy-like in dressing rooms. 

Then she talks about the fact that Mayu wrote her a letter and didn’t give it to staff-members until, like, half-way through the on-air theater performance. She says that even staff-members were worried she maybe wasn’t going to give it to them. She says she knows that Mayu isn’t the type of person who writes letters, so she thinks she prolly had an hard time writing one. It made her super happy, though, how she still included some very funny moments in the letter, calling her her personal Yukirin-Yahoo!Answer and yet pointing out stuff only Mayu knows and can understand about her. And then she says THREE TIMES in a row how much she was happy to receive that letter from Mayu.

I have finally reached the latest chapter of brt manga. Yes I will try my best to shorten every name I have no energy to do a complete review so some things I wanna say:

1. The artstyle........I still prefer the original's, but they grew on me. At least after some chapter the kids stopped looking like 5 years olds. It gets better, I think. 2. The story is......well for now it's so so. But I like Kwki so I will still read it. The story is really focused on one goal so there's not really much character depth. Which I'm a disappointed about. Not much subplots but I'm kinda wondering why the script writer decided to make Mujina arc focused on the daimyo's kid while it's entire purpose to the story is to introduce Kara org & Karma. Though I do like Mujina arc. Another thing about the story--honestly I think it'd be better if they didn't try so hard to reconnect the story with the plot of Nrt like the juubi and byakugou no jutsu. 3. The characters. Man I've heard a lot of they nerfed Nrt in brt mang but I'm in complete speachless during the Nrt vs jigen battle. Like srsly NRT HAS SENNIN MODE HE CAN SENSE E V E R Y O N E AROUND HIM BUT HE NEED SSK TO TELL HIM WHERE JIGEN IS WHEN HE SHRUNK HHHHHHH. Other than Nrt. Well as I've said before no character depth whatsoever. But I like Kwk. He's the type that looks tough outside but softie inside. It's really cute how serious he is to fix the vase. He's just a lost child, and eventhough he got nerfed Nrt understands him. Brt calls him "brother" like he approves his father to adopt him like kahsks that was cute okay. Other disappointing thing is other than Kwk, Brt, Nrt, and the villains, no other characters get to the spot..? Even Srd and Mtsk. It feels like they're just supporting characters and that was sad. Speakin of supporting characters. Ao. I don't know the purpose of reviving Ao just to make him dead again. Everyone has accepted Ao's death with Shikaku and Inoichi. Ao is magically survived but just to make him a temporary villain like for what. Why. Brt personality is very different from the anime. If brt's manga is similar to the anime he would have no problem with making Srd the captain of the team, he respects Srd so much in the anime, so even if his tsuntsun is showing i think he'd say something like "WHY SARADA IS THE CAPTAIN but I guess it does make sense huh". But in The manga he was like "okay but it was only because i have no choice!" With annoyed & disapproving look. Also. #GiveMtskMoreHighlightPls :( 4. Other things: I have no problem with the constant talk about the scientific tool. Sure it wasn't "Nrt style" at all but I'll just accept that this story is and will be different from it's prequel. Which also made no problem to me too about how chakra absorbing is so common. The OP-ness of the kids are still a bit irritating though.

Ok so uh I’m gonna make this top 7 akb members list because It’s changed since last year...but let’s go to top 16 members.

1. Queen goddess Yui yokoyama

I still adore her and love her, but let’s talk about her growth this year. This past SSK was amazing for Yui and I freaking voted twice for her. She finally got into Kami 7, where she belongs and she was so composed and didn’t breakdown this year. I’m honestly gonna miss her old freakouts a bit, but she has really grown and matured well over the past two years. She has turned into a wonderful leader and I am so happy for her. I honestly think she should become AKB’s next ace because not only is she funny, cute, has a great singing voice,  and extremely beautiful, but because with Mayu graduating soon she may be Akb’s next best choice. Either that or any of the other choices I have on this list because hoo boy. So I still adore and love her, and I hope we’ll see the Tokyo Dome concert soon. 

2. Takakura Moeka: The next Acchan? Maybe??

Okay hear me out.  I adore and love this child. Ever since last year (and NGT’s debut single) I began to love her more and more and more. She’s really funny and goofy, especially in her Mcs (Management make her the next MC queen) and I love her interactions with the other members, like Yuka and Sasshi and Katomina (especially Katomina holy shit) she just is so caring and I just adore her for that. That and she is a very good center, even though management may disagree with me. And like I said I think she could be the next Acchan if she is given more time to grow as a person. And if she doesn’t, that’s ok too. I’ll still support this adorable and sweet mushroom, who is very deserving of her rank btw.

3. Komiyama Haruka: The other Akb ace in my opinion

HOLY SHIT HAS THIS GIRL JUMPED ON MY RANKINGS LIKE SUPER FAST. I mean before I wasn’t too interested?? But in a little over a year this chick really has caught my eye and I just love her. Honestly? I think she should be one of the next gen aces. I mean she’s clearly talented and funny, as well as having that killer smile 

I mean A + 

That and she has a very likable personality (I mean that video where she was trying to get Paruru to make a combo with her was just hilarious) so why not Komi for ace?! Again this is just my silly opinion but idk I just really like the idea of her being center. ALSO SHE DESERVES BETTER HER RANK THIS YEAR WAS BULLSHIT SHE DESERVES TO BE HIGHER I GOT SO MAD. 

4. Momoka Kinoshita: The coolest Ikimen in the universe

Still unique, still awesome, still the best pimp of NMB. Nothing really much has changed with my opinion of her, she’s still just so awesome and maybe Management is finally seeing that? I mean the girl got her own song last year, which was amazing btw, and there may be a chance of her being in NMB senbatsu in their next single? Idk I heard that’s a rumor but if it’s true I’ll be very happy because she deserves it. 

5. Sakura Sakura the boldest baby: 

Honestly she more bolder she gets with each SSK the more I love her. I mean yeah there was that whole Meru twitter thing but...still...I still really like her. I mean she has such a passion and drive to get what she wants, and I honestly applaud her for working as hard as she does. With Sasshi and Mayu no longer competing in the SSK anymore, it’ll be between Jurina and Sakura...and who’s gonna win? Idk honestly, but I am excited for what this kiddo will do next. 

6. SASSHI THE QUEEN OF THE UNIVERSE AND MAYU THE QUEEN OF IDOLS 

AAAAAUGHGHGHGH THE FEELS I HAVE FOR THESE TWO

I mean Mayu...oh Mayu...I am really gonna miss her. I mean she was the fucking queen, no matter what rank she had. She never left Kami 7 for even a moment and now she’s gonna be gone soon. It’s really sad but after the past few elections, I knew she was gonna leave soon. Her announcement just broke my heart, because I knew she was tired. Just like how Paruru was. Mayu will be fine, she’s Mayu for crying out loud. Akb I’m a bit worried about if Management doesn’t get their heads out of their asses and make it so members won’t WANT to leave (IE Karen, Hilary, Yuria, Shimada...a lot of them actually) but eh this ain’t the post to rant about management right now. We love and will miss you Mayuyu. 

Now Sasshi, I love her so much. I think she grew on me more than last year, because of just how amazing and how she  doesn’t take anyone’s shit. Especially people online. Her speech this year really got to me, with the whole “Please don’t abandon this group” thing. Because that’s how I feel right now. That and her relationship with Mayu is incredible. I can’t compare them to Astuko and Yuko because these two are on an entirely different level. They clearly love each other and are close, but have they always been that way? Not sure, but the fact that they fight so hard against each other and can still be such good friends is one of the reasons why I love AKB48 so much. This year’s SSK for them was heartbreaking, especially the hug. My god, their hug. 

I am reminded of the Atsuyuu hug and ughghghgh the freaking contrast. When Atsuko and Yuko hugged, it was after Astuko won back her number 1 spot but this? This is more sad because Sasshi is giving her greatest rival and friend a goodbye hug. I just- I just can’t handle all of these feels. 

7. Sayanee the radest leader

I STILL LOVE HER DON’T GET ME WRONG, IT’S JUST A LOT OF OTHER MEMBERS HAVE FREAKING GOT MY HEART. I mean she voted for all of her fellow NMB members! All of them! That is so freaking sweet of her! I still love her and think she will be a fantastic musician once she leaves AKB, not much else I can say. 

8. Okada Nana, the serious and awesome leader

Holy shit is this girl cool. I mean she’s a fantastic leader and is freaking awesome. Ever since her speech last year, she has really really boomed in popularity, and it’s clear why. She’s a great member and a great leader, also her speech of wanting to bring discipline to AKB...my god do we need it right now. She’s also very sweet to other members and I love how she treats them. I also really like reading her mobile mails whenever I see them on Tumblr, they’re so fun and great to read to. I also really like the fact that not only is she a great leader, but she’s very open about her sexuality too. That is just pretty cool to hear and she is totally kicking ass at what she does. I think she also should be ace, she just fits into that role. Hopefully next year she’ll be in Kami 7 and rise to the top. 

9. Ogino Yuka: The election’s superwoman

NGT...NGT is just dragging me to hell with them. Before this election, I always thought “She looks very unique and cries a lot...she’s cute”. But this year holy hell has she jumped up the ranking system for me. I mean she became number 1 in the prelims and number 5 in the actual election...WHEN SHE WAS UNRANKED LAST YEAR!! That is amazing and Idk if anyone else can top that. But despite that, she is also really cute and funny (I especially loved her one showroom with Moeka that was a riot) and her history in AKB just got to me. She failed audition after audition before becoming a draftee and entering NGT...god think about how much that can do to someone.  you finally get into a group you love...After so many failed auditions. I can’t imagine the frustration. But she still pulled through and became an amazing core member to NGT. I honestly love her and I hope she becomes stronger after this election. 

10. NAKANO IKUMI WHO SHOULD HAVE RANKED BECAUSE SHE IS FUNNY AND GREAT 

In the Takamina scandal prank, she was one of the girls featured in the episode. Holy moly was she adorable. I mean her crying and being confused when the prank was over was just so precious I felt so bad for her. Then I find out more and more that she’s actually pretty funny and adorable...but...as usual management doesn’t really push her because she doesn’t even rank...SHE ALMSOT DID WITH THE PRELIMS JUST SHSHSHSHSHSH Sorry still salty because she is a precious child. 

11. Music....oh Music

She’s reminding me so much of Takamina it freaking hurts. I mean she just debuted and yet she’s already my favorite. I mean she is clearly a cutie patootie and she seems to have a really good personality...but then again she just debuted. Her hairstyle just kinda caught me off guard and I just see a bright future with this group. 

12. Tano Yuka: SHE DESERVES BETTER

She’s gonna graduate soon. Very soon. I can see it. I mean this girl is talented, very funny, gorgeous as fuck, and she has a very fun personality. I honestly really like her a lot and I want her to be one of the top AKB members but ughgghgh I hate management for their treatment of Yuka...not letting her be in senbatsu and shoves her to the B sides. That and she SHOULD HAVE RANKED DAMMIT!! and what? Because she may say things others may not like? Uh bullshit let these girls speak their minds! I love her, I really do. She is amazing and I think she deserves so much better. ALSO SCREW BUSHUN AND THE WHOLE SCANDAL BULLSHIT SHE WASN’T DOIN NOTHING!! Sorry sorry just very salty about how she’s treated. 

13. Kato Minami and Mion: Upcoming aces 

Katomina is a very precious kid, I love her a lot. She was deemed to be one of the NGT aces and honestly I can see why. Not only can this chick do flips and is awesome with her baton twirling, but she also has a likable sweet personality and she is super pretty! That and her determination to become center is very admirable and I hope next year she’ll jump higher in rank. I can’t imagine the frustration she must feel. 

Mion is basically deemed the next AKB ace and honestly...I can’t feel it. Not that I dislike her or anything, I really like her. But I just can’t feel the center vibe from her yet. I loved her in Tsubasa wa Iranai (which is greatly underrated btw) But idk unless she’s center in more singles maybe I’ll start seeing it. I mean the kid’s got determination and clear love for the group, she just needs more pushing in order to become a strong center. I’m sad her rank dropped but hey next year. 

14. Matsumura Kaori: the video girl

HER SENBATSU SPEECH IN 2015 WAS A RIOT OK?! I love how odd and weird she is and honestly we need more girls like her. I think her single was really good and I love her sense of humor. I’m so glad she came back this senbatsu and was still ranked pretty high. She honestly seemed to be very mellowed out this year? I couldn’t tell thanks to FUJI TV BEING AN ASS!! But eh she is stlll very funny and charming and I want to see her more. 

15. Anna Shige, I can’t spell her last name

I’M SORRY I WISH I COULD! Anyway I really like her! She’s funny as hell and I love her personality. That and when I first noticed her, I was watching an AKB concert that was still on youtube and she was Mcing...and I just quickly noticed her because of how cute and funny she was. It took me forever to find out her name but I’m so happy I did. She is just so adorable and funny and I love her friendship with Sakura...I really wish we could see it more but hey they're really sweet and cute and I love it whenever I see them interacting. Also she needs to be ranked...more often...like seriously I was pissed she wasn’t ranked again this year. 

16. The Love Live fan Sato Minami 

I know she's a Kenkyusei right now but can we please see more of her? She is adorable and I love the fact that she is a huge fan of Love live and I kinda relate to her on that level. Please put these girls in their teams soon! Just so that we can see more of these tiny nuggets.

Since Obi-Wan absolutely respects Anakin’s boundaries and decision to not talk to him he asks Subira to get him the report of this mission (she straight up hacked it because the incompetent on the phone already said she’s not allowed to have access yada yada yada and she doesn’t have time to lose)… Anyway, Obi-Wan reads it and realize they really are whip marks and his brain turn into killer mode ??? Like how dare they touch his Anakin and think they can get away with it ? Murdering all the slavers is okay but he doesn’t actually know how to help Anakin so the next time he’s brutally honest with him like « I don’t know how to help you but I want to be whatever you need, I need you to tell me what you need to feel better » and Anakin melt because he never thought Obi-Wan could be this unsure of himself around him? Also Subira knows he went on a killing spree because when she heard every slavers on Kadavo had been brutally slaughtered she just looks at Obi-Wan and before she can open her mouth he says in a very cold terrifying tone « those animals will never lay a hand on him again ».

Obi-Wan has seen marks and cuts and bruises on Anakin's body, he's a Jedi fighting a war, sure, but even before he realised these were whip marks he knew it wasn't something Anakin got on a battlefield. He would absolutely try to find someone to slice into the Temple's records, but I also really want him to call Dooku like 'what the hell happened on Kadavo' and Dooku explains the whole thing with little comments about how distressed Skywalker looked and how pathetic it was and Obi-Wan keeps saying 'hmmm 🙃' every time not at all imagining if Sidious would really blame him for getting rid of evil grandpa

but Obi-Wan asking what Anakin needs from him is so good, he doesn't know how to help him and he can't talk about emotions anyway but he's willing to try anything for him

(also love that SSK went to kill some slavers in secret and obviously, Anakin should never know, which is ironic because Anakin would be delighted by such a hard proof that Obi-Wan really loves him)

arent we already prepared for team shuffle since takamina grad concert? I personally assured there would be one on Kojimatsuri because, they need it. the number of team members so unbalanced

there are sudden increase of graduation in these recent weeks, could it be that management have made some major plan ahead that we don’t know but members does? makes members think wether to in or not?

or could it simply that  a team shuffle already planned, but suddenly some members telling they are going to grad, forcing the management to keep postponed the date (but its boring so lets go to the conspiracy one #eh)

i think its logical for a team shuffle on SSK,  if not, maybe something postponed it further like :

1. more grad coming but the date still undecided, possibly from top members. Mayu said this is her last SSK (this time Im sure it is), thou I think Mayu would stick around for at least another year. Despite Mayuki keep dropping hints they gonna grad together, Yukirin or sayanee is the closest to the option. 

2. 16th gen already in and there are quite a lot of them to fill in, but itll take months before they are ready. so its possible that team 4 or even toyota team 8 gonna disband.

3. crazy kennin  . either Sashihara, Hirate, or Sakura gonna have a crazy kennin: 

a) Sashihara win again for the 3rd time, this could be a problem :  it could demoralized fans to vote since she is so unbeatable. in order to make SSK next year not boring, the management gonna make sashi stop participating on SSK, but so her fans not going mad, make her a half living goddess : a theater manager to all group.   

b) Sakamichi AKB

total reform, 46 gonna start have a kennin with 48 or the official SakamichiAKB group/sub group gonna be formed (ohohoh! even just by writing this I could already feel the haters )

both purist fans from 48 and 46 gonna be mad, but with how fast keyakizaka grows, from the marketing point of view  this really isnt a bad idea. total merger maybe hard, but making an official Sakamichi AKB team/sub team still on reach. if this is the case, i could see why some AKB members decide to grad, because AKB going to start a new journey. 

if not, maybe something smaller like kennin. i doubt they gonna make Techi kennin like Jurina did, but its a tempting idea.  Im more to Sakura kennin to Keyakizaka. please don’t kill me, the idea comes from how Sakura so openly liking Keyakizaka46. last time Mayu openly like Nogizaka46, the management put Nogizaka on Mayu drama and her single. last time Matsui Rena so openly likes nogizaka she end up exchanged with Ikoma to kennin there… so… lol *nervous*

     Was it that obvious? Well it was getting hard to walk in a straight line by this point, but she thought she had been keeping up pretty well. What about memory loss but less violent like with a holocron or a magic spell but in kinda regular SW universe but Ani doesn’t turn dark (because I love that baby)... imagine like one of them loses their memories of the other (and they weren’t together but they were gravitating toward each either and being in denial of course) ... so the other one instead of pushing for the memory to get back pulls away like if Anakin loses his memory Obi-Wan would be like : maybe it’s the continuity of things a chance to not have me on his back, he always said he wanted more autonomy, experiencing full knighthood without his old master to scold him (mabeyy plus Rako Hardeen guilt because I’m petty) and if it’s Obi-Wan, Anakin thinks that maybe this is good : Obi-Wan was forced to take care of him since he was a child, and he has been pulling always recently (catholic guilt for having feelings for his former padawan I guess) and doesn’t seems to want to be around him and maybe it’s his chance to finally have time for himself and be free of his former padawan for once ...

So they let the other one space (but still watching from afar because who are we kidding) until one night one of them find the one who lost his memory in one of the balcony of the temples and ask if he is okay and the other one said that it feels like something (someone)is missing but it’s not just the memories, something that made them feel whole and alive and without it life is colorless...

Annnnnd that’s how they realized that the other feels deeply for them ... if you didn’t realize I love for angst and fluff

Choosing who to emotionally destroy is hard though, but Obi-Wan is usually the go-to guy for this kind of thing, so Anakin could lose his memories and Obi-Wan can have a “we were right on the verge of admitting that we wanted something more from our relationship but then we had a minor fight and didn’t talk for a few days, and when I tried to finally contact you you didn’t even know my name, so I guess this is a sign from the Force that it wasn’t meant to be” moment and resigned himself to his infinite sadness fate in silence 😌 

But I mean, Obi-Wan losing his memory would be interesting too because Anakin would agonise in a very dramatic way while this new version of Obi-Wan would probably be so surprised to learn that he had a padawan, and tries to befriend him anyway (and Anakin could be the drama queen he wants to be, saying things like “no you don’t UNDERSTAND we can’t be FRIENDS you will NEVER be my Obi-Wan you can’t COMPARE” and Obi-Wan like “....I’m literally the same guy”) 

So basically I want a ray of sunshine amnesiac, be it Anakin or Obi-Wan, and both options would have a happy ending, obviously!
