Long post in the making, this may be tmi, but
you know i've always been confused about lotion?
like it makes your skin soft yada yada which is nice, I guess, but what's the point, what actually beneficial aid does it perform for you?
(also I suspect I'm a tad allergic because stuff like Suave lotion, the only stuff available to the public because my family does not use this stuff, opens up all these cracks in my skin and 30 minutes later I'm itchy and in pain)
also what is dry skin. whomst has dry skin. not me *whistling* i drink water. if my skin is dry i haven't drunk water. but also i almost always have hangnails, because i will slip at some point.
but hand cream is ok for me. but what is the point of hand cream exactly? and how is it different from lotion?
well! it finally occurred to me in a blinding fit of brilliance! it's for preventing hangnails! for dry skin near the nails!
(i mean maybe you could use balm instead or whatever but same idea - or maybe not? idk)
so like. between that discovery and the mystery cuticle serum my fingers have never felt better and I am just a little stunned by that.
