Here’s your reminder that permanent ”fat to thin” weight-loss is not observed or backed-up by research.
If you’re fat, then you’ll most likely never be thin for long. Anderson JW, et al. found in a 2001 meta-analysis of 29 long-term weight-loss studies, that participants maintained an avarage of 3.0 kg or 23% of their initial weight-loss after 4 or 5 years.
These studies had participants’ initial weights ranging from 73.5 kg to 148kg (btw, participants weighting 140.1 were the ones to initially lose the most weight on avarage: 44.2 kg). And I’m sorry, but a 3 kg maintained weight loss is never going to make even a short 95 kg weighting person thin, even less so a 148 weighting one.
From what I’ve observed, there is absolutely no research to support that permanent weight-loss can be achieved, with, but especially not without, surgery.
We are sold a lie of how our bodies are supposed to look, and then we are sold surgeries, pills, courses, mentorships, gym memberships, more surgeries, books, exercise equipment for weight loss, powders, and did I mention surgeries??
It’s bullsh*t.

things you can drink before you give in to eating:
drinks that won't break a fast:
black coffee (caf/decaf)
lemon/lime water
tea (chai, earl grey, green)
sparkling water (w/ lemon or lime)
water + tbsp apple cider vinegar (it will keep you full)
drinks that will break a fast:
zevia soda (root beer, cola)
diet soda
coffee/tea + milk/creamer
remember: don't drink zero-calorie sweeteners while fasting! it will raise your insulin and break your fast!

Breakfast:
Two full slices and two small slices of bread with marmelade and butter
Lunch:
A Hamburger with fries from my favorite cafe
Dinner:
Chocolate protein yoghurt
I ate terribly today... I ate the protein yoghurt at around 3 pm and it is currently 7.30 pm
I feel the hunger, I want to eat, but I won't. I've only done around 7k steps today. I used to maintain a consisten 10k steps, but unfortunately I got lazy. I will get dressed and go for a walk and once I return, do a cardio workout.
I hope tomorrow will be better.
I'm thinking of just eating rice waffles, cucumbers, tomatos, mozarella and bananas. Would that make me lose weight?

So my 4 day fast turned into a 5 day fast 😁
And after 5 days my weight has gone from 282 down to 274.6 this is the lowest i have seen since before i had my son almost 2 years ago. This makes me want to just keep fasting cuz the refeed will make it go up 😓 but hopefully wont be too much and get right back on track, i will be breaking the fast this afternoon. Just 6 more hours to complete a full 5 days which is when i'll be breaking later today
