I have had a really, really lousy couple of days. A 15yo whom I love tried to end her life, and I was honored to be the one on middle-of-the-night call for her family to babysit and petsit for a few days, but it meant I’ve gotten less than 8 hours of sleep in two days and I’m not 21 any more and I can barely do this.The baby and pets are in other good hands now and my teen friend is out of physical danger and getting intensive psychiatric help; her parents are going to sleep tonight and so am I.

Everyone who looked at and/or shared my pen-sketch post that I made when my teen friend’s BP tanked and her heart went wonky: thank you for helping me think of her. She’s out of the woods. She thinks she’s going to be okay.
