seemingly opposites attract on the surface, when in reality they're quite similar in temperament! plus, exusiai is one of the few who isn't put off by Lappland at all. she sees right through her act.

For the Ship Ask, how about Lappland?

Oh I got lots to say Notp: Lappland being intentionally filthy and gross, yes yes I'm sure she enjoys the feeling warm, fresh blood spurting from cuts but they're not a slob Brotp: I wrote them and Mudrock being friends doing art therapy together and I still like it :) Otp: It's a ship I made, Scavenger x Lappland

2ndtp: Yeah I still enjoy Texlapp Fluffy: I think the potential for Sora/Lappland could be nice in a "pair the spares" kinda sense, maybe they could open up to each other Angsty: Red, given the "murder" vibes going on there Weird: If my own ship doesn't count, I've always found ExuLapp to be a bit funny in the context of Texusialapp, maybe Exu gives them their haircut?

i'm here to sell you on exusiai/lappland!

both of them have high amounts of energy and a lot of love to give! granted, exusiai puts most of it into work and guns, but she's incredibly honest and open and cheerful. lappland has that same level of energy, but it all goes into murder and... being obsessed with texas. honestly i think what they both need is someone who loves the same way they do - intensely and openly, physically and verbally.

so they would click really well and play off each other, even if texas isn't there (tbh texas is probably horrified at first that they get along). they get all their enthusiasm and high energy out together and then neither of them have to irritate tex, who's comparatively much more mellow. also they can swap texas stories.

in conclusion: exulapp and/or texas/exusiai/lappland polycule is the dream, the goal, the ideal, stunning, amazing, please ship my rarepair

Eh, I don't particularly care for it. As individual characters, I like them and use them a lot in-game, but outside that? Ehh. Ehhhh.

It's an ironic shame because I originally got into AK because of PL; nowadays I just don't feel much of anything for them anymore.

what do you think of texulapp? like as a 3 way pairing and also the individual pairings with in

Hummm... the way I'd put it is, while I won't turn away what other people do with them, I find there's... enough interest? So I don't put as much thought into them personally. (I honestly enjoy exploring TexSora more xD.) Which is very funny to say when I'm a Saria/Silence writer, I know. There's also the history of the, 'crazy obsessed bisexual/lesbian' trope that does make me sideeye TexLapp a bit? But more than anything I guess I haven't found the food for me to really seek out 'Lappland in romantic contexts', and I feel there's plenty exploring them already.

There's also the aspect of, I'm often ambivalent about how Lappland gets characterised, I guess? I'd really like to see more fic/art grapple with the fact she's fucked up (she picked a fight w the Laterano Funerary Knights in her BoC skin!) and without any real family/support system. Who would care if she died? Really, honestly care. Tex might mourn a bit that she couldn't be helped. But I think part of her would be relieved too, that a dangerous tie to the past she tried to leave behind is gone. When folk really get into the complexity of that, hell yea. But I don't see much care for romance in her really. She's like Velvet from Tales of Berseria, her desire for vengeance driving her blinkered down a road that probably won't end well without intervention. So, yea, unless it's from some folk I trust implicitly to try handling Lapp's character, I probably won't click in.

Texusiai by itself is easier to see, Exulapp too, and by extension the ot3 by Exusiai being something of a mediating factor. But TexLapp folk have to work, in handling the sort of history those two have seem to have, and I salute those who try. It's just generally not my thing. Unless a friend asks for a bday, then I have plenty motivation xD

"Oh-- Yep! Totally was." Exusiai looked down. "Oh, you've already…"

"Perked up? In more than one way." She shifted her weight onto Exusiai, causing her to fall onto her back. She licked and kissed her neck, making Exusiai giggle.
