Ok, so you got a reply about Zverev apparently sexually abusing someone. That’s a lie. He’s been accused of domestic violence, on two occasions. In both cases, there weren’t enough proof or the case had been dismissed, which - by law - equals with his innocence. But while it wouldn’t surprise me for the accusations to be true with a top sport player, it’s hard to miss the fact that both women are friends with the wife of a fellow tennis player, who hates his guts. Make of that what you will🤷‍♀️

having now read through his wiki page controversies section, it appears that an ATP-commissioned investigation found there was not enough evidence for the ATP to punish him for the first set of DV allegations. for the second, it was settled out of court, which is Not the same thing as the case being dismissed. i think it’s actually perfectly sensible for a partner of a tennis player to become friends w a partner of a different tennis player without it being a conspiracy. i don’t like your tone or what you’re trying to imply here frankly; it reads like misogynist messaging about false sexual violence accusations. why would someone put their life on display, ripe to be torn apart by the media and fans, accusing their ex of domestic violence, just because… they’re friends w someone who is married to a fierce competitor of said ex? it’s not just clown logic anon, it’s dangerous logic. and i don’t appreciate it being sent to my inbox.

Claudia looks like Bailey even when she’s narrating her own diary and not just in Louis’s memories lol I hope the show doesn’t try to twist itself into a pretzel explaining a simple recast like the scripts are long done, recasting is annoying but making a big deal out of it just makes the audience more resistant to the change. Honestly her death isn’t gonna hit as hard personally cause continuity is super important for me but it is what it is what can you do 😑

but claudia is not narrating her own story. we are offered claudia’s perspective in her diaries. but ultimately someone else [daniel] is reading the sections of claudia’s diary that louis [+armand, or whoever] didnt cut out for whatever reasons. the question u should ask isnt ‘what can u do’, rather its what do u want me to do w/ how you feel about this? i dont agree w/ u at all. not to say idc bout bailey n this wasnt upsetting bc i did like her acting + what she brought as claudia but it is what it is. she wont be back for s2 & u will just have to work with that. if u feel so strongly about this to the point of pessimism [not caring about claudia’s death the same] or not watching the rest of the series thats on u, but thats not what im boutta do.

like i don't disagree that jason can be an unlikeable little guy (i'd even argue that it is, in some parts, a feature and part of the larger point), but what i don't understand is that the "solution" to this is that the show should not be about him and peter and should instead be about 2 other characters. because it's like. so dismissive to me. like forget jason for a minute and think about the themes of the show as a whole and tell me it would work if jason was not one of the main characters. like how would you build those themes and explore them without just changing the story and characters entirely

It's not Lestat himself who is an enemy, it's white fandom. All of these characters as characters are telling an amazing story and have so many satisfying layers to pick through. It's the fandom's inability to include race in any discussions that make everything fucked to ever talk about. It's also fandom's insistence on making everything about picking a "side" instead of enjoying things as a whole. All these pieces fit together.

Ppl need to examine their antiblackness to rly take a look at why Louis and Claudia never get any sympathy for anything and are always somehow the aggressors or schemers. Every vampire comes from trauma, Louis says that in S1. Trauma can come out ugly. Wanting to be loved but feeling unlovable. Everything is a void. Everything is boring. I'm boring. ur boring.
