Why is trying to find a doctor who cares enough to do something when you're sick or refer you to someone who can such a minefield?

I don't want to go to the hospital again but if I do I better bring up that I have no primary care doctor investigating why I've been in there like 5 times already since August so like I don't like going to the er in critical condition weekly wooh but it's not gonna stop til there's more doctor perspectives helping my gi doctor

#rant #health issue related #i tried to find new primaru doctor since mine jusy said to me 'thats weird' yhat my thyroid levels are low and did notjing #even tho i was starving unable to eat for a month and in rhe hospital 3 times in the month #so new one. my friend says thejr doctors office did not help them and dismissed yheir health issues #that sounds worrying given im exhaudted and need help asap not to fight a doctor #now im considering cancelling yhe new doctor appt #and trying to find yet Another new doctor #how hard is it to get a doctor to just. idk refer me to whoever will check the 'weirdly low thyroid levels'#my gi doctor is being called frequently by me and while they arent perfect #theyre the doctor whos at least kept trying new meds to improve the situation and trying new tests #to figure out whats wrong #but if its not just a stomach cause then i may need another doctors expertize but i am having #a mess trying to find a general doctor who cares to refer me as needed or order tests #to get whatever expertize or tests are needed to help figure out wtf is wrong #im so tired man. when do i get to move past this and start reliably getting better #idk how i got this sick but wow am i tired and frustrated #got just enough energy to be angry again i guess
