I'm not going to delete years worth of stuff, but there's no chance in hell of me using this website anymore. There's really nothing here that can make up for an aggressively transphobic, aggressively childish CEO who can just erase anyone's presence on the site over a tantrum, who singlehandedly makes the fact that his moderation team had so little oversight that someone could take fucking bribes look normal
And it's like, we've all had to sit through years of defenses or benefit-of-the-doubt type analyses about how they're actually doing the best they can under the circumstances, even when they've been visibly involved in censorship or have actively siding with bad actors throughout the site's history. And just, where do you go from there? Your staff's either corrupt or just got thrown under the bus in the worst way possible, your users will still demand sympathy for them no matter what happens, your owner has all the emotional maturity of a toddler, and there's no reason for anyone to actually do so much as *think* about making things better
let me know if the boy-king actually gets the car and hammer treatment

request for reader having dated spencer (early seasons) and then she finds out what happened w lila </3
hi hi hi!! sorry this took a while hun :( you were vague with your req so i just wrote whatever i wanted to write and because of that i meant for this to be a drabble but it didn't work out that way... enjoy!
secrets. spencer reid
Tumblr media
part 1 | part 2
pairing: spencer reid x jealous fem!reader, 1.8k
summary: spencer will never be able to escape the effortless wrath of derek morgan, not even when it's the weekends and breaking bad is playing and you're pulling on his hair.
warnings: no smut you filthy animals, though i did intend there to be smut im just in a fluffy mood rn :// tiny angst if you squint, spencer's blushin a LOT, morgan's evil, bickering and just cutesy couple stuff. me when.
Tumblr media
spencer’s secret was the last thing that you were, and you know this.
you and spencer have been dating for three months now, not including the two months talking stage because spencer is deadly afraid of commitment, and between all that time, you’d say you’ve gotten to know spencer pretty well. you know him well enough to trust that he knows what’s best, anyway. it’s been three months, and spencer hasn’t uttered a word about you to his team, his family, and you understand why.
really. you do.
“they’ll never let me live in down,” spencer had whined, one person imminent on his mind. derek fucking morgan. spencer dreads just thinking about it, the teasing, the inappropriate jokes, the winks and the whistles. it’s dehumanizing. “when someone ask me or mention something about it, i will tell them. until then…”
the unspoken reason was there. spencer’s a talker, definitely a talker, but he doesn’t spend much time talking about himself. he never reveals a bit of himself unless he’s directly asked it, and he feels uncomfortable sharing otherwise. the team’s too used to spencer being physically and emotionally repellent to the female race to really ask about stuff like you anymore, and spender’s not too eager to share neither. not out of the blue. it’s unlike him. this you understand. 100%. locked safely in the noggin.
you never think much about it anyway. it doesn’t bother you. what bothers you, though, is secrets.
you know spencer has loads of those, tucked behind that carefree and open-hearted smile and attitude of his. you examine him carefully, searching his face for ticks—okay, maybe you were just looking really creepily because he’s pretty and you try to commit every feature into memory but you are, searching for ticks that is.
you know he hides things. somethings not worth bringing up again because it’ll only bring up bad memories. some other things, however, definitely worth mentioning again. you just have to find the right target questions. sometimes it feels like you’re dating a stranger, with how little you know about spencer’s life. sometimes it feels like you’re dating the love of your life. it’s all very relative.
you and spencer are cuddled up on the couch, breaking bad playing on the tv. it’s one of the shows spencer doesn’t like pointing out the scientific inaccuracies of because he’s too fond of the main character to really say that he’s wrong, and sometimes you miss his voice chiming in between all the movie’s dialogues, but you think the reason why he’s quiet today is because he’s not in the mood to talk. the last case’s gotten him pretty shaken up, and he’s still healing, head in your neck every night and when he pulls away your skin is damp with tears.
“you okay spence?” you say, moving your hand to tangle your fingers in his hair. he hums softly, and then you both suddenly hear the vibration from under your asses. spencer shifts around, digging his phone out from where it’s lodged in a random cushion of the sofa.
he groans inwardly, showing you the screen, not having to explain. in big letters, the caller says: bau--derek morgan.
“he usually never calls me on weekends,” spencer frowns, watching the phone vibrate. “you think i should answer?”
“he’s a friend,” you say, tucking a stray strand of hair under his ear. “answer him.”
“okay,” spencer says hesitantly, then swipes the green button on his screen. he clears his throat as the call connects. “you’re on speaker,” he warns, looking at you anxiously and then back to his phone again. morgan’s a wildcard, and spencer would have to hide his face everyday for the next three weeks in front of you if morgan happens to drop something embarrassing about him just out of pocket. spencer isn’t ready.
“not like there’s anyone with you to hear,” morgan scoffs, and didn’t let spencer answer before continuing. “the team’s planning on a bar night tomorrow—“
“the team?” spencer questions, suspicious. morgan sighs loudly.
“garcia and i,” he corrects reluctantly, “are planning for a team bonding night tomorrow. what do you say?”
“no.” spencer says immediately, looking at you and hope you get his unspoken answer. spencer never goes out on weekends, not unless it’s with you. with his highly demanding schedule at the bau, it’s rare that he has any time off at all, and it’s hard to maintain a healthy relationship that way. any time he gets to spend time with you he’d take.
“come on,” morgan says, enthusiastically. “when was the last time you properly went out, huh?”
“last month, when you and garcia planned another of these team bonding bar nights,” spencer says monotonously. he rolls his eyes. “morgan—“
“don’t be rolling your eyes at me now, genius,” morgan warns. you stifle a laugh, and spencer sends you a wounded look. you forget that they’re basically family, like siblings to knows each other to a tee. “listen, have some fun in your life. who knows, maybe we can find you another lila at the bar.” morgan’s tone is suggestive. and now, that got your full, undivided attention.
and spencer, predictably, looks like a deer caught in the headlights, looking at you in horror was you narrow your eyes at his screen. you prod at his leg, prompting him to answer so morgan can elaborate.
lila?
“i don’t think—“ spencer starts, but got immediately cut off.
“don’t lie and say you didn’t like it, lover boy,” morgan whistles and spencer cringes. “now that we’re talking about lila, actually—“ spencer’s mind is screaming, shut up shut up shut up! as morgan proceeds to feed you more information, completely oblivious to his sins. “do you guys still keep in touch? she looked pretty into you. never knew you had it in you til then, man--”
by now spencer’s beet red head to ears to toe and you can feel the heat radiating off of him, but also off of yourself. you’d say you’re a jealous woman. not too jealous but definitely not not jealous.
“morgan,” spencer starts again, voice a little wobbly and embarrassed and morgan laughs.
“seriously though, do you guys still talk? them eyes never lie,” and morgan sounds so casual, so nonchalant while destroying spencer’s life.
it’s not that spencer doesn’t want you to know about lila. he couldn’t careless if lila waltz into his life right now because he knows they would be nothing more than friends—you’re all he’s ever wanted and he would trade you for nothing. it’s just embarrassing, is all, him being exposed like this, and he feels smaller, feels like he’s actually 5’3 with the glare you’re sending him.
“anyway, that don’t matter,” morgan remains completely ignorant and in his own world and still on speaker. oh morgan. “i want to see you at our bar tomorrow. it’s a yes, right? good. i’ll tell garcia you said yes.”
“morgan!” spencer says quickly. “i have a gir—“
morgan hangs up.
spencer dreads looking at you, so he takes his time getting out the app and then clears all of the background apps on his phone. he doesn’t like seeing you mad and he can basically sense it, the fumes blowing out your ears.
“who’s lila?” you say casually and he looks up. he doesn’t mistake your tone for friendliness, your eyes are narrow and suspicious.
“someone on a case a while ago,” spencer responds honestly. because that’s all there was to lila. it’s not like he’s never had his first kiss before her, so she doesn’t even count as his first kiss (she’s his second) and other than that minute-long moment they shared there was nothing else remarkable. she just happens to the only girl the team knows about who’s spencer been involved with and they are encouraging to help him find another ‘lila.’
it’s all very complicated. and humiliating. he should’ve definitely told you the entire backstory beforehand, because it’s not scandalous or weird or anything. it’s innocent and harmless. but now the problem seems to be blown out of proportion.
“just someone?” you press. spencer hesitates. he hates lying, especially when he’s lying to you. his hesitation gives you all the answer you needed.
“we kissed once,” he says, and gawks at you for approval, for forgiveness. “but that was it. i swear.”
something awful bubbles in your stomach. you know spencer’s not lying, and it’s not worth getting upset with him about because it’s all in the past—it’s not like you go talking about your precious conquests to spencer anyway. but you can’t help the envy and jealousy boiling so hotly it makes you dizzy.
spencer feels obliged to fill you in, to patch up the little bump and to get back the sweet atmosphere that was before morgan called. he knew morgan would somehow manage to ruin his life in some kind of way. he knew it before he even accepted his call.
“she was an actress in this case we were working on and she just, i think, really liked me or something and she was in a pool when i came to see her just to ask some questions and she just pulled me—“
his rant got interrupted by you seizing him to a rough kiss, hands coming up to rest behind the nape of his neck and nails unconsciously digging into his skin. spencer remains mostly unresponsive and soft, surprised and don't know how to respond. you keep prying, teeth digging into the soft of his bottom lip and spencer starts nipping at you back, gentle like he always is.
it frustrates you, how hard it is to be frustrated at spencer. you pull away from him and spencer tilts his head curiously, lip shiny and eyes looking at you like he's never seen you before and he just looks so sweet, so innocent and eager, like a precious pup. you roll your eyes, swatting at his chest, annoyance and jealousy and anger evaporating from you like a cloud.
spencer licks his lips and you collapse back into him again, returning to the position you were before morgan so unmindfully interrupted your weekend. breaking bad continues to play on the tv. long limbs wraps around you and spencer presses a kiss in your hair.
"i'm not going tomorrow," he declares.
"you should," you say nonchalantly. you cuddle up closer to him, turning around until the both of your are facing each other, wiggling your way on top. you begin to trace stars on the exposed skin of his shoulder. "and maybe you should bring someone with you. just to act as a guard for future lila's. maybe you can introduce that person too," you flick your hair behind your back and shrugs at spencer's amused smile. "it's just a thought."
"okay," he says quietly, eyes so soft. "okay. who do you suggest i bring?"
"that's for you to figure out, doctor reid," you say flippantly, turning back to the tv. "now shush."

Nickel and Balloon's arc and why you may be wrong about it, and why you are wrong about Suitcase and Nickel as well.
Nickel didn't trust Balloon because Balloon was a dick on s1 (something that the fandom forgets so fucking much), and of course he wouldn't trust Balloon being a part of the alliance either since Baseball (Nickel's best friend) and Suitcase (Nickel's ally/Baseball's closest friend) were part of it. "But Nickel didn't care about Suitcase-" he did, Adam himself did say he did care for her, but he strongly lacks emotional intelligence to truly get her. So of course, he didn't want to risk it, even if he does believe that Balloon wants to change, he doesn't want Suitcase to get involved with the guy.
Although Nickel doesn't want Balloon near and is an asshole towards the guy, I think that all of you kind of also forget that at one point on s2, Nickel did say that he thought that Balloon wanting to change was something good, but that he still didn't want to be associated with the guy. Which is, yes, shitty on his behalf, but it makes sense character wise. It's a case of "it's great that you want to be a better person, but i don't want to be near you even so", which is something most people felt at one point of their life.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Adding to this behaviour of his, again, it wasn't just because "Nickel is a dick without excuses", protecting his loved ones (his alliance) is. Kind of his whole thing. You know. He cares about them but sucks at showing it (this includes how he treated Baseball, looking at you all), he has the thought that if he's on control of a situation, no one will get hurt. He sucks at communication. Hell, it's even said on the series, he is afraid of change and also about accountability. ACCOUNTABILITY.
So yes, the way he treated Balloon isn't justified, even Nickel says it himself, but he has his reasons as to why he acted like that. But I think that you guys also need to remember some more important stuff as well. Nickel wasn't like this because he fully wanted to, but his behaviour towards Balloon was also constantly justified by Baseball.
And so here's the main question that troubles everybody so fucking much it's stupid.
"Why did Nickel change his mind on Balloon on s3 like that? It doesn't make sense"
Listen.
The reason as to why Nickel actually gave himself a chance to know Balloon properly is because of two very important factors. So I know that some of you might not be familiar with the official II comics, but the first reason is in one of the comics actually.
Especifically on the Letters Comic.
Tumblr media
The plot of the comic is Balloon writing letters to those who he wronged/had a bad relationship with, and this includes pretty much all of the S1 cast (excluding the ones that are still on S2). And guess what, Nickel gets a letter as well.
Tumblr media
There isn't a canon outcome as to what Nickel did with the letter. We don't know if he threw it away or took a look at it. But to me, I think that he did took a look at it. I will explain why later on in this post.
The second reason as to why Nickel's behaviour with Balloon changed on S3 was because, Baseball wasn't there to try to justify Nickel's hatred towards Balloon. In fact, what he got instead was Box, and we know that Box is like, Nickel's best friend on s3. What Box does is basically telling Nickel to get his shit together, stop holding onto stupid grudges and do it for the team.
And he does! And mind you, that was on the first episode of season 3! He decided to put away his petty feelings so the team could work, which pretty much already tells you that meanwhile early s3 Nickel has as much snark as S2 Nickel does, he actually recognizes when it's time to play on the game and when it's time to be petty. He's more of an nuisance towards Balloon on the first ep all things considered, but it seems that unlike S2, Balloon has grown a lot of confidence as well, and isn't sad at Nickel's comments, but rather calls him out on them. And even IF Nickel didn't exactly like to side with Balloon, as the eps went by, despite Box was the main reason as to why they were hanging out, Nickel was actually experiencing Balloon's change. He didn't want to be involved on s2 because BB told him that his distaste was justified (and that ended up messing everything for the Grand Alliance), but now he's "forced" to accept and know the guy because Box told him it was the best for the team. On early s3 they tease eachother, yes, but their relationship seems to be better than before.
As well, it wasn't out of nowhere either way, since Balloon does imply that both Nickel and him hanged around just to mess with Yinyang back at the Hotel.
That's my main reason as to why I think that Nickel DID read the letter in fact, but still had very complicated feelings towards Balloon, because in his mind, to him, Balloon was the reason as to why Suitcase, someone who Nickel really got attached to (even if you can't believe it), "betrayed" him. But we know that's not true. But at the end of the day they do end up hanging around well.
"But Max, why did they end up having a fall again? Aren't they supposed to be healthy?"
First of all there is a reason, second of all, oh my god conflict won't fucking kill you. You see. Nickel SUCKS at communication. He can't let out his feelings as much as he would like to do so, because he's scared of getting hurt and such. So yes, Nickel and Balloon were good friends there, but the down fall was necessary for them in order to ACTUALLY be a healthy friendship. The problem is that Nickel doesn't get that he fucked up a lot more than he thought and that he is the problem.
He still thinks that Suitcase left his side because of Balloon and of course that hurts- but he feels so bad about the way he treated Suitcase as well, even if he's not fully aware of why he feels like that. So that's why the conflict HAD to exist. You can't just expect them to be okay like nothing without talking about S2 properly, it doesn't work like that. Yes, they both care about eachother, but they STILL had to talk about it.
Now, on the yet, most controversial scene when it comes to Nickel's arc: Clover's therapy.
Some people say that Nickel didn't have to just be talked like that and that they expected more, but dare I say, that's exactly what he needed. To talk properly about his feelings. It's like you guys didn't catch up on that. Nickel's thing is being overprotective over those he loves, and seeing the things that might harm said loved ones or himself as threats that he needs to get rid off in order to be okay, and that he is afraid of change. Nickel knew he messed things up, but he still kept on thinking that Balloon was the one that made Suitcase betray him, when that's not really true.
Tumblr media
He needed the talk to realize that it was truly his fault. Please take note at the way he looks to the side once he realizes it. It wasn't just a recent thought, it was always there, but he was scared of it coming true. Clover's talk made him open up properly about it and Clover also says it, "but don't you want to?" and then he says "mhm, maybe", but he really does want to, which is why he changes so much on Ep 16.
So before you say that Nickel didn't regret what he did and that he only did because of Clover: how can you be so wrong about something.
And, oh.
Oh, episode 16.
It treated them so well.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
What Nickel says here is that he was scared of falling in Balloon's tricks, he was scared of being manipulated. Again. It wasn't out of nowhere. The way he treated Balloon WASN'T out of nowhere.
Is it justified? No. Does II or Nickel himself ever say that it is? No. The series as a whole is telling you that it was awful of him, characters do call out Nickel on his shit behaviour (even if you think they don't, they do, calling out isn't always strong words, sometimes calling out acts as feedback. as pointing things out. of course he also gets called out in the other way on the series, but PLEASE don't say that he didn't get called out because of his actions, he quite literally died because of them), Nickel HIMSELF recognizes that he was awful to Balloon and he is okay with the possibility of Balloon not wanting to forgive him either way.
But they ended up talking things out in the end. They ended up okay, because Balloon can genuinely see that Nickel wants to change. The walls he put are gone. He can see how genuine the guy wants to be.
"But Balloon shouldn't forgive Nickel, not after all the pain he caused to him"
Listen. Both of them commited mistakes. Balloon recognizes that he wasn't a good person back then and wanted to change things. Nickel finally got that and Nickel also showed Balloon that he does mean well. People that had complicated relationships CAN work things out, crazy I know, and I'm saying this as someone who had beef with their now best friend over similar stuff. We apologized and now we're close. It happens.
Balloon really cares about Nickel. And Nickel really cares about Balloon.
And Nickel is okay with Balloon winning because that's his friend now. Nickel changed for the good. And it makes sese character wise.
Nickel regrets what he did to Suitcase and Balloon as a whole. And Balloon and him are best friends now.
So, no, Balloon and Nickel aren't a toxic relationship, much less a problematic ship given all of the circumnstances, and saying that they are is missing on the whole arc they went through. They were complicated and they both had their reasons at the end of the day. No, Nickel wasn't purposefully an asshole to Suitcase, he was seeking to protect her, but ruined everything on the process. Yes, Baseball and Nickel needed to be separated in order to grow because they weren't healthy to eachother. Yes, the Nickel and Balloon arc had to go as long as it did in order for it to end properly, and it's not even done yet, Baseball and Suitcase are still waiting. Yes, Nickel meant good with the things he did. No, it doesn't justify any of the things he did. And, finally, the Grand Alliance arc is well executed, just because it's complicated it doesn't mean it's bad.
And those are statements that can coexist.
Thank you for reading. :]

Trick or treat!! 🎃🧛🦇
Hi!! Thank you for the ask :)
I'll leave this excerpt of a Jaydick fic that I'm unsure where it will go, but that I really like how it starts.
---
It happens like this: Red Hood’s working a case in Gotham and ends up in Blüdhaven chasing a lead. Nightwing tails and shadows him for a while, before confronting him. They don’t get physical, but it’s a near thing, because Jason’s tight-lipped about whatever the hell he’s doing there until it becomes clear that Dick will do his best to chase him out of the city if he doesn’t start talking—and saying more than his usual taunts and barbs.
Dick hears Jason out, but still intends to follow on with his initial idea of just making Jason go the fuck away, until it becomes clear that Jason knows more about something going in Blüdhaven than Dick does, and it’s obvious that he won’t say exactly what it is if Dick is confrontational. He has the posture of someone who’s promising to take secrets to the grave, and considering that this is Jason, well…
So Dick endures his irritation, swallows down his pride, and much against his will, proposes that they work together. He has home advantage, and something tells him that he has other things over Jason, too. After all, there has to be a reason why Jason went after him, in New York when he was fresh out of the grave. All in all, it shouldn’t take long for Dick to wrench more information out of him, make him leave, by force if needed, and then finish whatever brought Jason there in the first place.
The offer of a team-up is met with less resistance than he’d predicted, but still, he’s sure that Jason isn’t happy about the situation either, and that’s about the only thing that brings him some limited satisfaction.
He watches Jason like a hawk the whole time they work together. In Dick’s defense, that’s exactly what he should be doing, and it’s also where the road to perdition begins, but he’ll only notice that much later, and by then, it will be too late.
They work together, and the thing is that they work together, like partners should. The first hours are just a little bit clumsy, but that soon gets cleared up. Dick recognizes his own moves in Jason’s, and sometimes both of them are a reflection of Bruce.
It’s unfair, because between them there is nothing that should exist between partners. In the place of trust and companionship, there’s an insurmountable chasm. Jason still won’t tell him everything he knows—just that they are after a group that deals in everything: drugs, guns, people—still, when they are outside, leaping through the city in the night, it all feels just natural, sliding into place like the pieces of an uncomplicated puzzle. And still Dick follows Jason, even if he’s suspicious.
Dick hates it, even if something inside him that he can’t name feels relieved by it. Maybe it’s that hopeful little thing that yearns to save others… even those who, like Jason, don’t want to be saved.
Even those who, for all intentions and purposes, cannot be saved.
At one point their stakeouts and rooftop watches make Dick perceive more about Jason than he ever wanted to. Like the way his movements are still reminiscent of Robin, despite his very different body, and all the other things he’s incorporated into his fighting technique, or the way he sometimes waits for the very last moment to fire his grapple after jumping from a building. Dick isn’t sure what that last fact means, but he can hazard a guess—been there, done that—and he needs it to not be true, because here is the thing: once upon a time, Dick Grayson had to learn that yet another person died wearing the Graysons’ colors, and there’s a part of him that will never grant himself forgiveness for letting that happen. But if Jason’s not too far gone, then maybe there’s nothing to forgive to begin with.
It’s a nice thought, but the problem is that, of course, Jason is too far gone, Dick has always known that, it’s just that it’s in his blood to try and believe otherwise. That Jason is too far gone becomes clear once they start to wrap up the case and their ill-advised, if effective, partnership, ends with the sound of a bullet going into the head of the gang leader and Dick’s hand with bruises from punching Jason—not that he takes it without giving back.

A couple of replies today! Surprisingly horny ones…

Ryu, Ryu... do you think Trey uses Doodle Suit during sex with Riddle... Change the taste of his dick or other things to something that suits Riddle's palate...
Abso-fucking-lutely, Anon. Doodle Suit is such a horrible unique magic for Trey, and I mean it in the best way possible: the ways he could use it are truly fascinating. He is enough of a creative perv for that, whether he wants to admit it or not lol
With Riddle though, he’ll try to make their sexual experience more pleasurable to him, so yes, changing the taste of his dick is a must… He might not survive making it taste like a strawberry tart though because Riddle will be sucking on that thing so very hard 👏😔
If Trey could also change any sensory characteristic, imagine how much more enjoyable he could make some kinds of stimulation. He could make Riddle orgasm by touching his tongue and teeth alone if he really wanted to 🤔

pls share your thoughts about a potential magishift gangbang with leona and/or epel in the middle i beg
(related to this post)
My main thought for Leona was about how his team could “punish” him post ch2… A lot of my mob thoughts are related to post-overblot lol But it’s always so fun to see someone who is so used to trusting and obeying our main boy to suddenly turn on him and basically use this “you deserve to get punished by us!” feeling as an excise to gangbang the guy. Which is, in Leona’s case, something they’ve wanted to do for a long time. And Leona could even allow that because this is exactly how he’s going to see it: he’s allowing that. Even though in reality this is pretty much the hyenas devouring Scar for betraying them, but the devouring part is more sexy~
Ruggie would sit there and watch. And then after a couple of rounds, some guy from the magift team would say that Ruggie deserves to fuck him more than anyone else, so they’ll pretty much bring already fucked Leona closer to him as a little present. Even if he is “allowing this”, this is probably very humiliating for Leona nonetheless.
Epel could try to interfere and get fucked just because he is the only one trying to step up and protect Leona, but I feel like he wasn’t a part of the team back them…
When it comes to Epel’s own gangbang though, I always think of a scenario where everyone’s telling him that he’s doing very good, praising him, basically manipulating him into thinking that by sucking everyone off and allowing them to touch him everywhere they’re making him “one of the Men”. Epel works very well with this theme, and for some reason it’s very easy to imagine him getting so excited about being treated as someone who is big and strong like all the other jocks, that he wouldn’t even notice that in return to that he has to be a little bitch to them. But hey, maybe he loves the attention!

Vil being abused by older men in the industry YES... It's so real to me (Especially when he was younger!!!!) Just imagining him doing everything he can to make the producers and directors happy so he can get the role he wants, letting them manhandle him and overwhelm him with a (very reluctant) smile, only for them to give the role to neige as usual... And MALLEUS oh yes. I wish I had thought of something like that sooner!! Little shota Malleus who still acts more like an animal than a person who clicks and chirps when he's in distress, biting and puffing out fire and squirming while some bigwig takes over him omg I'm going to be ill
(also related to that post)
Anon, this is such an obvious thought it’s such a shame it doesn’t get discussed more often, I think about it so much I’m almost ashamed of myself. At Vil’s current age he is probably so disillusioned by the entire industry and probably thinks that he used to be so naive about some of the producers being genuinely interested in him and not just… you know. I’m not even sure if I would want this scenario to get super dark or super kinky or both because one day Vil is going to realise that just because some older men said that he is very talented, beautiful and mature for his age, this doesn’t mean ANYTHING GOOD AT ALL 😭  He’d get used so cruelly and the role would still go to Neige~
Aww Malleus clicking and chirping, so cute… Lilia better be around or no one would be able to handle him. 😔 Feisty little guy still has a lot to learn about behaving like a proper prince that doesn’t throw tantrums just because he doesn’t like someone, so unfriendly, so uncooperative!

Could we get an angsty blurb where BAUreader and Hotch (they're dating) get into a big fight because she feels betrayed that he didn't tell her about Emily being alive? Of course they make up at the end because i can't deal with sad endings🫣
i did this more as a sad fight thing because i feel like it hurts more, i hope that's okay
You don't talk to Aaron during the entire case. There's a lot to do, of course, but you're avoiding him more than you need to, and it's obvious to everyone. The team watching your reaction was secondary to Emily's appearance, but it was clear that while her death was manufactured by Aaron, you did not know.
The last thing time even you looked at him was right after Emily walked into the room, your eyes burning into him. It was a glare worst than he had ever seen, and it's all he can see now that everything's "okay" again. Declan's safe, Emily's safe and alive, but you're not sure anything will ever feel "okay" again.
"Can we talk about this?" Aaron finally breaks the silence once you get home. It was a long, awkward car ride, that's for sure.
You're so tired, and all your remaining energy is being channeled into anger. "What's there to talk about?"
"Why you're upset." He answers in an obvious tone.
You huff, still not looking at him. "I thought that would be kind of obvious, Aaron." You snarl, waving your hands in the air. "One of my best friends is alive, and you didn't have the decency to tell me."
"I couldn't." He tells you, taking the firm line you expected him to. The Unit Chief line.
"No." You shake your head. "You wouldn't."
He puts his bag down, following you through the apartment. You should have just gone to Penelope's. "Come on, Y/n. Be reasonable about this."
His words only fuel the burning rage inside you. "Reasonable? What's unreasonable about valuing trust in a relationship!?"
"What's unreasonable about having to follow government orders?" He sounds like a dick, and he knows it. Lying to you for months was much worse than when he last fucked up by letting his job rule his life.
"I used to love how dedicated you were to the BAU." You tell him. "I'm not sure I'll ever feel that way again." The heartbroken look in your eyes somehow breaks his heart, too, when you finally bring yourself to look at him. "Aaron, I know you did what you were ordered to. The problem is, if I saw you like how I was, knowing I'd lied, I would have broken, and I thought that's who you were, that your decision would be me over the rules."
You cried over it for so many nights, hot and heavy tears and sobs at the loss of your friend while he did everything to help you feel better. It was the hardest loss you'd faced, and it made you consider being in the BAU.
He knows you're right. He's in a terrible habit of doubling down when he's chosen his side in an argument. Helplessly, he stands there still.
"I don't know where we go from here." You admit, turning away from him to go to the bedroom. You need sleep or to cry or a hot shower. There are still so many feelings in your brain that you know you can't be making big decisions now.
"Would you ever trust me again?" Aaron gets your attention back with his sudden, soft question.
You don't know what to tell him. "That's the one most important non-negotiable for me."
Again. He'd done it again. Lost the most important woman in his life due to his job. At least Haley still trusted him, she just couldn't deal with the hours.
You weren't sure you had more tears left after everything, but you go to bed and break down. You love Aaron more than you've ever loved anyone, and you can't stop that now, no matter what he does.
He knows what he's done, but you don't halt your tears when he comes to bed to prevent him from feeling guilty.
He abandons his nighttime routine to get into bed, laying down next to you. You can feel him itching to touch you. When he finally does, you don't brush his gentle hand off your shoulder. "Baby." He coos. He's not sure what to say, just that he needs to say something, anything to fix this before you're gone.
"I know I can be without you." You say, still not turning over to face him. This is what he was trying to prepare himself for, a breakup speech, but it still knocks the breath out of his lungs. "I just don't want to."
It's his opening, the moment for him to jump in and catch you during your fall. "You don't have to."
You shift on the mattress, your face and body close enough you can feel how warm he is. "I need Honest Aaron." You inform him. "I don't know how we do that because there could be more situations like this in the future."
He nods, and the answer is quickly on his tongue. "I'll break the rules. Every time. You're too important to lose."
"That's a big call to make." You remind him. "If you were to ever tell me something and things got complicated..."
He knows what you mean, and the federal prosecution he could face if your actions reflected you knowing more than you shoulder. "I don't have a good answer for that." He admits, and he's right, there's no good way around it. "Just a long list of regrets from a no-win situation."
"I trust you the make decisions with my best interest in mind." You assure him. The evidence is about one million to one on that.
"That means telling you." He realizes. "Always. Fighting for clearance first, of course." You brush your nose against his, watching a grin take over his face. "I'm sorry, Y/n. So sorry for hurting you and betraying your trust."
You nod. "We can rebuild it. It just might take time."
"I'll do anything you need me to." He assures you.
"Okay, I need you to kiss me." You request.
It's the easiest, and he fulfills your request, leaning forward eagerly to kiss you, letting all the worry he had about being in an unfixable situation.

Have you noticed Leon always says you owe me one to Ada and Luis and they respond the same, I think the only one that doesn't respond like that to him is Ashley like actually she tells him they're a team and working together as partners, there's nothing to owe.
So this is a REALLY super interesting ask, actually. I don't think that it's as simple as "he keeps score with them but not her." There's a lot of different layers and moving parts to this. All of these scenarios are very different from each other, and they all come from different places. It's not just about how he views the people in question, but also how he views himself, especially within the context of their dynamic.
We'll start with Ada.
If you notice, he only says that to her in RE2make and at absolutely no other time in canon. There's a reason for that. In RE2make, Leon is kind of a bumbling dipshit. He's fresh out of police academy and has no real, practical experience to speak of. He's basically just making it up as he goes along and hoping for the best.
And then there's Ada, who's more skilled, knowledgeable, and competent than he is by basically every conceivable metric. And not only that, but in RE2make specifically, he thinks she's fucking FBI. So, in his mind, she outranks him in every sense of the word. He spends a not insignificant amount of time chasing after her and asking her for help and answers, because he trusts her as an authority.
So, when Leon tells Ada that she owes him in RE2make, that's his way of seeking her approval. It's his way of going "hey Ms. Big Shot FBI, I can stand on equal footing with you, too. See? Please tell me I did a good job oh god."
And then when RE4make comes along, the only person between them who says "you owe me" is actually her to him -- and not only does he not acknowledge that comment from her at all, but he also never tries to even the score. And that's because, in his mind, she still owes him way, way, WAY fucking more than just a simple information tip. She took advantage of him on the worst night of his life, lied to him, used him, led him on (at least, as far as he can tell; he has no way of knowing she actually caught feels), and then abandoned him for six years. And upon their reunion? Holds him at gunpoint without so much as a "hello."
So, when he calls her for help at the start of chapter 14, he's not asking for a favor. He asks her a question, and he expects her to answer it -- because she still owes him, and he feels he deserves it.
The difference in his confidence levels in his interactions with her between RE2make and RE4make are really striking, and this is actually a really great example of it.
Luis is a different story.
Leon actually never keeps score with Luis; it's Luis who tries to pull it on him, and Leon immediately pays him back out of a desperate desire to not be indebted to him in any way, shape, or form. In his mind, Luis is also someone who's already taken too much from him, as an Umbrella researcher.
Of course, it's also much harder for him to make that case, because Luis wasn't actually there in Raccoon City and had nothing to do with the actual outbreak. Leon is actually very hypocritical when it comes to Luis in a lot of ways. OG Leon tells OG Luis that he was in Raccoon City, but remake Leon doesn't do the same.
So, remake Leon demands that Luis be straight with him about his motivations while hypocritically hiding his own. In fact, one of the biggest tragedies surrounding their relationship is that Luis dies without ever having known that Leon wasn't just being affected by his Las Plagas research -- but that he's also suffered from Luis's contributions to Umbrella's research, as well.
For the vast majority of their relationship, Leon feels like there's absolutely nothing that Luis can do to pay him back for his direct contributions towards ruining his life. So, keeping score is pointless.
And yet when it comes to Ashley?
Leon has nothing to prove to Ashley like he did with Ada back in RE2. And she's never hurt, betrayed, or taken advantage of him like both Luis and Ada have done. So, for him, despite him having basically all of the power in their relationship, he sees himself and Ashley as being on completely equal, neutral ground with one another.
But here's what's interesting. He does actually keep score with her, to a certain extent. When Ashley goes over walls to unlock doors from the inside, Leon will occasionally thank her with an "I owe you one."
From Leon's perspective, Ashley is going out of her way to help him. She's not obligated to assist in her own rescue -- and, if she chose not to help, he would eventually find another way to navigate through shit, regardless. It'd just be a way bigger pain in the ass. So, when she helps him out, he feels that he owes her.
Saving her life and bringing her home isn't a favor; it isn't something he ever expects or wants her to repay. He has his role, and she has hers, and when she steps out of her role to help him, he's grateful.
And, even though he pays her back again and again and again, he never sees it that way. If, on the plane ride back to the US, Ashley asked him for something and pulled out a "hey, you owe me" -- Leon would very likely just shrug and say "I guess I do."

i dunno if you guys answer asks but what’s the best way to start… remembering? our social worker suggested hypnotherapy but i don’t know if that works well. we’re aware of the possibility of ramcoa trauma happening and have a few memories but we don’t know how to go about piecing things together
We do answer asks! We just forget we have an askbox sometimes. This one caught my attention in particular due to the mention of hypnotherapy and a possibility of RAMCOA trauma.
Obligatory “I’m not a therapist I’m just a random system on tumblr and you should make your own informed decisions on your own mental health.”
So if you suspect RAMCOA trauma in your history I would advise to be extremely careful and/or cautious about pursuing hypnotherapy. We have never done hypnotherapy and never will because hypnosis is a very common mode that programmers will use to create a dissociated state in a child. Hypnosis therefore is extremely triggering to us and if your system has parts who are programmed to run when hypnosis begins, it could cause a risk to your system’s stability.
As for tips on how to remember, all I will say is that you should probably consider the factors that make you unable to remember at this time.
Common reasons why amnesia can be strong/worsen for systems (side note: these are all personal experiences or experiences I’ve heard from other systems):
stress in daily life often causes amnesia barriers to strengthen or worsen
a lot of trauma has already recently come out. Especially in the case of HC-DID or C-DID where higher ups can often control amnesia levels to an extent, your gatekeepers will often increase amnesia levels if trauma has already recently slipped out to avoid even more slipping out
you are still having to consistently interact with someone who was involved in or complicit in your trauma. If you are living with your dad who you think is kind of a dick but not that bad and suddenly get memories that he tortured you, living with that person will become nearly impossible for your wellbeing. Gatekeepers will often keep stuff locked down when you are still having to be in contact with past abusers
you are not in a stable position to begin to receive trauma memories. People with CPTSD, a CDD, etc often report that they function fine enough when they are living in an abusive environment, but once they leave that environment and can truly relax, that’s when memories and flashbacks start hitting them and they become nearly nonfunctional despite being in a significantly calmer and safer environment. That’s your body and mind finally leaving fight or flight mode and when you truly get to relax for the first time it’s going to hit you like a truck.
Take it from a host that dug too much too soon and learned things way too fast: slow the fuck down. /meant gently. Your memories will surface in time. There is no rush to figure everything out. Trust me, the more you start learning the more you will probably be like “damn actually I don’t wanna know any more this is getting pretty bad” and by then your system will be like “WELL THAT’S TOO DAMN BAD.”
I had to get pulled from the host team for nearly a year because of how bad digging for memories fucked me up. Granted, I ended up taking up inner caretaking and inner deprogramming and now that our system is very nearly completely deprogrammed, my inner world job is less necessary so I can return to full time host business. There were several other factors that also led to me being unable to host again for so long, such as programmed parts constantly attacking and harming host team members (couldn’t handle that I am Fragile) and also having a harder time speaking in an American accent and masking my English one due to a series of splits that happened after we got divorced from our ex wife. I can mask my accent better now and my distress tolerance is much higher now due to having worked with programmed parts internally for so long, which makes me able to return to main host stuff and not get absolutely mentally destroyed anytime I experience a flashback or programmed response or an attack from a programmed part anymore.
If you have RAMCOA trauma, no matter if it was stuff from a single parent or a high control group, none of it will be fun to learn. It will be some of the most devastating, heart-wrenching, soul-crushing things you will ever experience, seeing flashbacks of your kid self being harmed in ways no human should be harmed, let alone an innocent kid. And I’m not saying you’re trying to learn for the fun of it, I’m assuming you want to learn for two reasons at least:
1) you’re in denial and need proof
2) you want to help your system heal
What I did to help myself through these two things were this:
When I experienced denial, such as when a part told me something or showed me something, I would just default to believing them no matter if I thought something like that could ever happen. My kid self deserves to have someone believe them. We were never believed as a kid, nobody paid attention, we were ignored. I’m never doing that to myself ever again. If the memory turns out to be a pseudomemory, or you realize maybe this didn’t really happen the way you thought, you’ll figure that out when you get there and that doesn’t mean you were faking it.
As for wanting to help my system heal, I learned I actually didn’t need to know as much info as I thought I needed to know to help my system heal. The extent of what I know now is a few visuals, that’s it. I have seen maybe about a dozen visual memories (not even in their entirety, often just 1 or 2 seconds of something) and the rest is just “this is what happened” as told to me by my parts. It’s like reading a horrible story, I’m incredibly detached from it. But the things I have seen have helped me learn to take my parts seriously when they tell me what happened. I catalogue their triggers, I learn what to avoid, I learn how to positively trigger out other parts who can help, I work on inner communication, etc. I don’t need to know all the details yet, that will come later. For now, I can teach my parts who haven’t seen the light of day for 15 years how to ground in the present and show them healthy coping skills. I can give them the comfort and love they always deserved. I don’t need to know what happened to do that. I can know it’s bad because they got triggered out when I looked in the mirror and they saw my red lipstick and freaked. I can know it’s bad because they internally look like a doll with no limbs or a young girl with no eyes and only a mouth full of teeth. I don’t need to see what made them that way/remember what made them that way to help them.
I hope my answer helped anon! Good luck!

“Of course they will probably be right at some point. I think no one believes that they are endgame. But what’s interesting is by keeping people’s hopes alive that it will end soon, they are making sure that people stay engaged. If you were to tell people, relax, it’s going to last for a while, many would check out and leave the fandom. Because many fans that are left are waiting for the end, desperately waiting for it.”////
Check and Mate!!!! ♟️ @justenjoythegossip 👏
I’m tired of All, the teams crap. People know nothing but are the reason this mess gets any traction.
When the next thing happens, keep an eye to how those Pr blogs change their tune after claiming this last pap walk is “the end”. 🙄
I’m done with it, I believe it’s PR, but I also don’t know how far they are willing to go especially after going so far as to stage a bs marriage. I’m done, no decent hearted human being who actually cared would go this far, like I hope I’m wrong and Chris is actually tied up in some mess, ugh even typing that I can’t stay mad at him because he clearly looks stressed the fuck out and he’s purposely not selling this shit, hasn’t smiled not a once with her except the forced fake content they tried to sell earlier in the year.
I wish this would’ve ended with a breakup I do, but logic and common sense is showing that they may be in this for a long while. At most i can see a one year “marriage” or something.
I told the PR blogs….yeah those that more is to come and got blocked. I’m not team real nor team real/pr. I’m team ME and my own fucking conclusions.
If he divorces then the new debate will be “was he really married or not”, like it’ll never end. At those specific Pr blogs know nothing or else they wouldn’t act the way they do let alone continuously be WRONG! Their leader said Pr Marriages don’t exist and even blocked and called people idiots for suggesting it, months later……here we are. 😒
My heart hurts because I genuinely cared about him as a person but too much has been done and best of luck to him especially if they plan on doing more.
Like everyone talks about celebs won’t date fans or normies due to regular people not understanding their world, but no regular person with common sense and a value of self worth and living in REALITY would purposely enter their fake world, (it of course depends on the celeb) but in Chris’ case if he found love outside the industry after all of this, I wouldn’t trust the man,…..he’d probably use whoever to his advantage and the poor woman wouldn’t even know how far he’s already gone to keep his Hollywood whatever. He’d throw her under the bus and wouldn’t think twice. He might be purposely trying to look like he’s against this mess, but he’s still in it, he still participated by doing it in the first place.
It’s too fucking much!
He doesn’t give a shit about the hurt he’s caused his fandom, well I’m returning the favor now.
✌️ Chris. 💔
For what it's worth, An🫶n. The Fandom is it's own support system.
Tumblr media
So, if it gets too much, everyone's here for each other... Thank you @justenjoythegossip Your blog was truly a treat. 🤗

you are SO right about traffic!tango from the things i've heard u say so far. PLEASE talk more about him (only if u want ofc) i would love to hear it
Ah yes, traffic Tango! My little traumatized babygirl! I honestly don't know where to start here. Oh my.
Third life? Let's check. Uh huh. Doesn't trust anyone and plays on all sides of the game? Creates his own game as something that can be remembered for killing people because he can't do that? Actually joins the side of people who killed him because of a silly rule break no one really cared about? Yeah that's a lot going on. Yet he managed to get pretty far. The one thing that actually makes me lose my mind over him is that fact that he didn't run away once it came to the finals. He could have became a coward and run away from the battlefield, yet he saw his best friend dying and decided there's nothing left to lose. Maybe he didn't pay enough attention to notice Impulse had one more life, maybe it wasn't even the case, I'm not the one to tell. But the fact that he tried to revenge Impulse says a lot, actually.
Last life(my favorite one and actually the reason why I liked Tango at first place) is the most fucked up for him. Sticking to another best buddy of your since the start just to completely leave him behind once he turns red? People say Ranchers had so much angst, but Tango and Skizz duo? You guys don't give them enough attention. Building a nice base and calling it home just to abandon it and move in with some freaks you messed with in the first episode sounds... Cool, yeah... The problem is: team BEST was too good from the start. Making presents for each other, being the heroes of the server, just messing around and living their best lifes. They all felt like family. Maybe that's why it hurt so much when Bdubs turned red and tried to kill him in the nether.(yes canonically Tango skipped next session because he was hiding from Bdubs because I said so) and of course Tango wanted to bring him back. But here comes the main problem with him this season: "I'm never a boogie man, I'm just a life dispenser!"©Tango, session 5. No matter how hard he tried to do anything, he was only know for giving away lifes. Even "You bet your life" is a game about Tango giving lifes. He was just a tool this whole season. He knew about it, and he knew he couldn't do anything about it. Once again, he had a chance to avoid his final death, yet, he didn't. Because it didn't matter anymore.
Double life. "That's why we can't have nice things!" Is basically about it. It was probably the worst season for Tango in terms of surviving: he didn't have any stuff, no big plans, no huge alliance problems and basically noone saw his as a threat AT ALL. Of cours, he was still a madman. Trying to bring out a warden to make Scar pay for burning down the only place through all the seasons he could actually call home. Didn't turn out the way he wanted at all, but hey, at least he brought some fun in the overworld. Still no result, everyone wasn't really scared of him bringing out another one. But he was finally happy. He finally had someone on his side who cared and would never betray him. He was finally loved. Jimmy is one of the most loyal players, and finally he gets his perfect pair. Well... He is also cursed. And Tango is cursed with him. They even die on the different sides of the map, without telling each other goodbye. Universe does want Tango to be happy, hmm?
Limited life. If you think about it... It was the best season out of all. No betrayals, actually being the last green, getting two boogie men in a row, finally getting his revenge, just doing great in general. So what was wrong here? It was going too good. He just... Doesn't learn on his past mistakes. Remember how in last life session 5 Tango *checks notes* canonically... Sniffed the Boogie man curse on Bdubs and Etho? My man's got a great intuition. Yet he never trusts it. Which brings another issue: he doesn't trust himself. Even if he knows he's right, he just plays along, no matter what. Because he can't do anything. He doesn't care. So when Martyn offers to team up, Tango feels something is wrong. But he doesn't try to stop anyone from agreeing to that deal. The good thing about team TIES for Tango is that he can may trust his teammates enough to care about them, always be on their side. But he doesn't trust enough to be sure they won't kill him. Even when Skizz, one of his best friends and the most pathetic wet cat on the server turns redTango accidentally ruins his silly spying moment- notice how he puts a shield up? He apologies like crazy, even though it was a joke. He was scared. Or when Impulse reveals he's a boogie man? Tango trusts his alliance, but it doesn't mean he isn't scared of them killing him. Like it happen a few seasons ago. Why? Once again: he's just a life dispenser. He gives his time to Skizz to get the team back together. Doesn't it seem familiar? He doesn't change at all: once again, he died fighting Scar, who didn't really... Fight back. He could run for his life, like he usually does, he just... Didn't.
So let's put it all together: Traffic Tango is a paranoid life dispenser who doesn't trust anyone fully(including himself) who just wants to have fun, but he's so tired of being in constant fear of death so he doesn't listen to his intuition, which always says the right things to him and is basically the reason for most of his deaths because of that, and he knows that nothing good lasts for long. In other words: someone get him to a fucking therapy.

I have my reasons for asking this but
The boys as sugar babies. How would they feel about it/their reaction be?
I just wanna see what your input on this would be...for science...👀💦
I think I got something for you, Aryll darling. 🤔 (I made this more sfw than not tho sorry lol - if you'd like an update, I can swing something!)
Some headcanons for the sextuplets being sugar babies, under the cut:
Osomatsu
He gets money whenever he wants and can DO whatever he wants and all he has to do is throw around some dick?! Sign him UP!
Literally doesn't make a change to his lifestyle whatsoever, he's very simple with what he wants: to not have to do jack shit and still have everything he needs.
So to know that he can do exactly that AND get laid? Yeah, he's 100% down to be a sugar baby.
Karamatsu
He gives it much thought, especially when Osomatsu tells him about how much fun he's having doing whatever he wants. Would it be so bad to not have to worry about his finances?
When he does find someone to support that lifestyle, he actually finds loves it! He's able to afford all sorts of musical instruments and travels across the world whenever he likes. The sex is also nothing to sneeze at as well, but...
He realizes after a long while that this type of life isn't meant for him. While he loves what he can afford - the hopeless romantic in him wants genuine connection. Sex without strings and love without a price tag.
Choromatsu
Ever the straightman, he finds that lifestyle something he could never imagine himself being a part of.
Yet when the offer comes to him - Choromatsu realizes he doesn't want to say no. There's too many benefits on his end, too much good that could come out of having his hobbies and NEET lifestyle funded for him.
He prefers to keep whether there are physical relations or not on the low. Very much treats it transactional outside of him and his sugar parent.
Ichimatsu
Doesn't entertain the concept in the slightest...until...
He miraculously ends up in a more escort-ish kind of situation. A much, much older, wealthy woman who honestly just wants company. She has a few cats and an old dog, which Ichimatsu helps her take care of. Perhaps even take walks around the park with her or go grocery shopping. And in return - she pays him handsomely for his time. No sex involved, just honest companionship.
He ends up treating it completely normal, has no problem telling her he loves her even, because deep down, he does. They end up bonding tremendously in a non-romantic way.
Jyushimatsu
He honestly thinks he's being propositioned to join a baseball team at first lol so he asks about his contract, how many seasons, etc.
His sugarparent actually finds this charming and offers him a generous allowance for just to kind of be around. Jyushimatsu enjoys physical connection - but he'd truly have to trust and feel emotions toward someone to want sex, and that may not be the case with this relationship in particular.
With that said, much like Karamatsu, Jyushimatsu may end up wanting a genuine partner rather than meaningless sex that ends up with money in his hands. Now if he was getting money just for someone to watch him swing his bat around all day...🤔
Todomatsu
He's living his best fucking life! Much like Osomatsu he is very down to be a sugarbaby. Who wouldn't want to be given money to do whatever they wanted all the time?!
Totty however is a little smarter - he takes a page out of the Rental Girlfriend Service's book and uses his cutesy attitude to get the upperhand on everything. He doesn't mind there being any physical aspects on the table either as long as his sugar-parent is good at it.
The most successful of the sugar babies. Loves to call his brothers from Dubai or Belize whenever he can to rub it in their faces

sorry turns out i do need to say something.
there have been times--many, many times--in the past where dream + the dteam were viciously hated for next to no reason. i've been there, battling against what felt like the entire internet's ire against misinformation, unfair treatment, and outright cruelty. i get it.
that being said? the time of the dream team being unjustifiably reviled has long since passed. over the past year and a bit, these guys have burned through so much goodwill on so many occasions. and now this, with george? he literally groped a drunk girl, admitted to doing this, and yet his and dream's first reactions were to blame the girl's friends for being manipulative haters? and then every subsequent backtrack and apology has been about how terrible they feel that no one talked to them about this before, as if dream hasn't proven multiple times over that he cannot be trusted in interpersonal professional conflict to keep his damn mouth shut on twitter/reddit, and also in what universe does that make an appropriate apology? in what universe does george's feelings matter even a little bit in comparison to caiti's? even in the most charitable case, where he was fully ignorant, had no ill intentions, and made a terrible mistake while drunk (which, to be clear, i fully believe was the case!), his feelings on the matter still don't enter into the equation if someone was hurt! his and dream's reactions have been nothing short of sickening, victim blaming and invalidation at their absolute finest, and the fact that i've seen so many people i once had respect for consider any of this behavior acceptable has been Profoundly disappointing to say the least.
like. i get it. i was there. i know that it sucks to be constantly defending your guys from every which direction. i know that there ends up being a sense of satisfaction and community when you're standing up for what feels right, especially when it feels like everyone hates you for it. i know that when your guys make mistakes it can feel Gutting to watch the world tear them apart when you feel that they're trying their best to learn and change and be better. but how many times do these people have to demonstrate the same consistent pattern of thoughtlessness, selfishness, and deflection of responsibility before it's clear that they're not interested in improving? how badly do they have to fuck up before you'll even consider that it might be too far?
it is in no way hypocritical to say, y'know what, yes i've defended these guys in the past but This Shit Is Not Cool. and i am imploring people to take that step sooner rather than later before the rhetoric you echo to defend them becomes actively dangerous, because i have seen entirely too many people already cross that line.

Let's take this asshole down. Through gambling and... time travel... something. I don't know. I do not understand the plan. Halara's playing this close to their chest.
But I trust Halara and that's good enough. GO TEAM ALARM CLOCK!
Tumblr media
...they're excusing themselves from the table. Maybe the draw is the plan? A stall for time?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Whoopsy doodle.
I've always wondered how you're supposed to do that maneuver subtly. It shows up in so many things but it's always so obvious that it's a ruse. But. Is it obvious because I already know it's a ruse? I don't know.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
...is... is that the whole plan? Why? Why is that the plan? I am super confused right now. Explain, senpai.
I suppose if we need a weapon you can probably cut him really bad with those glass shards but I don't understand how that helps us right now.
But okay. I'll throw the dice. And he'll throw his loaded dice. And then--
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AND THEN THE VENGEFUL SPIRIT OF HIS PAST SINS WILL ENTER THE ROOM.
IT WAS A FUCKING SIGNAL.

^_^ It was a Lucky Day miracle. Gosh, I just feel so blessed. What were the odds that his trick dice would malfunction and that guy that fell from the rooftop would miraculously return to consciousness all at the same time?
What did I tell y'all? My fortune teller was right. It's protective rainclouds and roses ALL. DAY. LONG.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sorry friend-o but 7 beats 8 and that means I win.
This was a great plan. Halara's the best. I'm glad we got to team up with them after all. Unlike that useless Desuhiko who completely bailed on us before we came into the casino.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay I was shitposting but no, Fubuki sincerely doesn't realize what Desuhiko's role in this plan was. XD I generally don't like when the game goes too hard on "LOL Bimbo" for Fubuki but that line was priceless.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look at her. Poor Fubuki.
Halara's launching straight into the post-case debrief but Fubuki's over there staring into middle distance and questioning reality right now. Anyone could secretly be Desuhiko. How long was the rooftop faller Desuhiko? What if everyone is secretly Desuhiko?
What. If. I'm. Secretly Desuhiko?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That was Lucky Day powers at work! It's like I said. Just because the fortune teller was a paid corporate shill, that doesn't mean the fortune she read can't be real. Fate works in mysterious ways! You don't know!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is a sweet moment for Halara. We're. Just. Going to ignore that Fubuki had to reload her save a couple of times to make that happen.
It still counts. I think most gamers would agree with that. Maybe not those perma-death tryhards....
Tumblr media Tumblr media
WHY ARE YOU TRYING?
I don't think Fubuki would rewind to cheat on purpose in a friendly game with her colleagues. She's not going to go, "Oh, they had a good hand. Well, I'll just hop back in time and fold so I don't lose my chips."
I do, however, think Fubuki would innocently rewind because she shouldn't have given that card away, without even realizing that it's cheating.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Halara, you've created a monster. Still, I suppose maybe I should take back what I said too. Fubuki's got a good grasp of what would be an inappropriate use of her powers in this game. Instead, the real reason Desuhiko can't take her is obvious.
Because it's her motherfucking Lucky Day, y'all!
Tumblr media
^_^ This was a good day. I enjoyed this substory quite a bit. Fubuki is, as expected, an utter treat to play as. The rapport between Fubuki and Halara is brilliant, and I want to see the two of them team up more.
100% would play Fubuki and Kurumi team-up spinoff. 100% would play Fubuki and Halara team-up spinoff. Fubuki, Kurumi, and Halara team-up spinoff? Solid motherfucking gold.
With one case where Halara wheels a container into the room as a special weapon to deploy against their adversaries. And when they open it up, Vivia's lying in there, ready to join up with them for this one chapter.
Just one, though. Not because I don't like Vivia. I adore Vivia. But because Vivia's a character who should be used sparingly. His whole vibe is "I will not do anything for 95% of this story. But when I do get up, shit gets real."
This was great. I was so happy.
You can still see Kodaka's disrespect for the character bleeding through. Desuhiko's chapter was all about Desuhiko trying and failing to solve his case, while Halara more or less takes over Fubuki's case for her own good. Fubuki quickly becomes a supporting character in her own plot. That's not great.
But the dynamic between Fubuki and Halara is nonetheless charming enough to carry it. So I had a good time all the same.

Wolverine: Old Man Logan (Comic review)
Tumblr media
So, fresh of the high of watching Logan (2017) for the first time I decided I'd also check out the comic where old Logan originates. If your looking for something similar to what you saw in Logan here's where the similarities begin and end.
Logan is a tortured old man
there are very few mutants left
there's a road trip
Western movie vibe.
THATS IT.
After that its all different and it is a TRIP.
Comic spoilers past this point
Okay so this whole thing takes place in an alternate timeline wherein the Marvel villians realized they outnumbered the heroes like twenty to one and decided to put aside there difference and wipe them out all at once. After that the villians decide to carve up America and divide its territory amongst the lead bad guys.
Tumblr media
The story starts years after this event where we see the titular old man Logan living the life of of sworn pacifism as a simple farmer with his wife and two kids.
Tumblr media
Here's were it starts to get nuts. The Hulk gang are all directly related to The Hulk through the inbred hillbilly children of Bruce Banner and his first cousin She Hulk. together they rule over there tenants with an iron fist from there mighty trailer park. And all of this is certainty a story choice.
After beating the absolute breaks off of Logan for not having this months rent they tell him to pay double next month or they'll kill his whole family. So naturally when a now blind Hawkeye shows up (because of course no one went out of there way to kill Hawkeye) and offers him 500$ to help him move some drugs he accepts.
What ensues is an epic Wolverine Hawkeye cross country road trip. And sure, the country is swarming with subterranean flesh eating mole men, and dinosaurs, and criminals, and The Red Skull is president. But it's not so bad. It's still a road trip. Yay!
Tumblr media
So after many exciting events they make there way to the other side of the country and Logan is ready to get paid so he can keep The Hulk's freak kids from eating his family. Its then that Clint decides to tell him that this is not a drug deal at all. He's actually transporting super soldier serum to a resistance cell that plans of starting a new super hero team. A resistance cell that is actually full of undercover operatives performing a sting operation. I found myself wonder how Hawkeye ever trusted a guy who looks like fat Hitler to betray Americas new Nazi government. Then I remembered he was blind and couldn't stop laughing.
Tumblr media
After this we finally meet president Red Skull who since the purge has been wearing Captain America's suit because idk he gets off on it or something.
Tumblr media
Captain America may be dead in body but his spirit lives rent free in this Nazi fuck's head.
So anyway Logan beats him to death with Captain America's shield.
Tumblr media
Which is great. Probably the best part of the comic.
Then he steals a suitcase full of cash and flies back home in Iron Man's suit ready to save his family.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then he kills the entire Banner family.
except Bruce Jr. He can stay.
Tumblr media
This comic is crazy, and while there are interesting parts (The character of Old Man Logan being by far the best aspect) and it was certainly interesting enough to hold my ADHD addled brains attention for the entirety of its 190 something pages I definitely prefer the movie in this case. It's certainly still worth the read. I didn't even go into all the stuff that goes down in this story. Logan's reasons for refusing to use his claws until his family is killed is particularly messed up and heart breaking. There's also a whole subplot with Hawkeye's daughter. I'll definitely be reading other Old Man Logan installments in the future.

Honestly, I consider my self "pro-israel" but still very critical about Bibis goverment, specially since fuckers like Gvir ad Smorvtich are in charge. I think that with Hamas finally gone and this fuckers either jailed for good or gone since they are actually hated by the Israeli population rn (The only reason they havent kicked them to kingdom come is because its the middle of a war) a good faith peace plan for both sides can be established with a third party of trust.
This being said, why the fuck do people root for Hamas? Ive seen this so called progressive even calling them 'resistance'. These fuckers are the main cause that palestinians are in the situation they are in. They use all the money they get from aid to try to attack israel, use their own population as shields because they dont care about them and indoctrictnated them to hate since children. Do they really want to leave them opressing Gazans like nothing happened after oct 7th? Because Ive havent seen any goverment willing to do this dirty work because, sadly, Hamas wont reliquinsh their "power" peacefully.
Honestly, in a past I considered my self pro-palestinian and pro-israel, at least publicly, but these loud minority of Hamasinks seemed to have hijacked a movement that started with good intentions. But sadly it appears that this minority is becoming the majority.
Is there anything that can be done to revert this? To alianeate these extremist from the reasonable voices?
"I think that with Hamas finally gone"
You make the assumption that Israel's ongoing genocidal attempt will succeed in eliminating Hamas.
What I think it's doing instead is feeding the fire for many more years of conflict.
"This being said, why the fuck do people root for Hamas? Ive seen this so called progressive even calling them 'resistance'."
If you're talking about (online and offline) Western "leftists," I can think of 3 reasons:
They're treating other countries' politics and conflicts like an abstract, intellectual exercise (at best) or football teams (at worst). As if actual people's lives aren't at stake.
They're falling for propaganda propagated by Hamas and backed by the religious fundamentalists of Iran--who have destroyed their own country and whose morality police murders women left and right; how quickly people have forgotten of Mahsa Amini--as well as their allies, the Houthis in Yemen and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
They're antisemites and/or authoritarians themselves. Some of those people cheered when Hamas committed atrocities on October 7th. Suffice it to say, calling yourself a progressive does not necessarily make you one.
"I'm not an antisemite, I'm an anti-Zionist!!! Israel should be annihilated!!!"
Ok, answer me this then:
what exactly would happen to Israel's Jewish majority population in that case? Would it be killed? (That's what Hamas wants by the way.)
Would it be driven out? Where would they go?
"a good faith peace plan for both sides can be established with a third party of trust."
The United Nations, the West (the US, the UK, Europe) and Western-aligned Arab states are promoting the two state solution, sure. But is it feasible right now?
Then you have the one state solution (under an Israeli or Palestinian government). Except the majority of Israelis and Palestinians do not support it.
"But sadly it appears that this minority is becoming the majority."
You mean faux-progressive Westerners or Palestinian people?
Because Palestinians are not a hive mind. They agree with some of Hamas's decisions and disagree with others.
Most of them do not support Hamas as their government or the religious aspect of it. They know that Hamas is in Qatar and does not give a shit about them.
But they do want to be free from their oppressor and some of them think that Hamas's war could help end the occupation.
I'm not going to give it to Hamas under any circumstances, but in defense of the Palestinians who support Hamas's war, other strategies, like nonviolence, have not worked.
My point is, we shouldn't dehumanize people who are fighting for their freedom even if we disagree with them.
As for the self-proclaimed progressives in the West, try explaining to them that Palestinians have not had fair and free elections since 2006.
Show them pictures of Palestinians taking to the streets to protest Hamas and even burn their flags.
Hamas officials destroyed phones lest the "Not all Palestinians support Hamas" truth came out.

Tumblr media
And now to introduce the main crew...
Nic slid a dossier to the middle of the table where the 8 men were gathered.  Flipping the top of the manila folder open, Mel’s picture came into view.  Nic's cousin and co-heir of the massive fortune belonging to the well established creole Meyers family, Mel was an archaeologist and professor at LSU in Baton Rouge, just up I-10 from where they were meeting in New Orleans. The previous year an excavation in Peru had gone south, Mel had ended up kidnapped, and once freed a price had been put on her head for a long time because she could identify who it was that had been behind the operation. That was the reason that this time had to be different, another repeat of last time and his grandfather just might kill him personally.
Nic cleared his throat to get everyone's attention. “Now, let’s go over this one more time.  I’d hate to have to kill any of you personally.”  A wry smile formed on his lips as his gaze met each of the other 7 men’s in turn.   “Keep your sister alive,” Cade said with a sigh and raised eyebrows.  Nic thought of correcting Cade, but decided against it.  Maybe if they kept with the misunderstanding that Mel was his sister they’d have extra impetus to keep her alive.
“Don’t break her artifacts,” it was Alexander’s turn now.  He was also an archaeologist, so it was no surprise that he remembered this one.  He was also her best friend, and closer to her than even Nic was. Friend of the family since he and Mel had been in college, Alexander's past with MI6 would prove useful, Nic had a feeling.
“Kill any fucker who looks at her funny,” Gabriel piped in with a chuckle.
“And make it look like an accident,” added Donovon, also chuckling and shaking his head.
“Be ready to give our lives for your sister,” Case chimed in.
“Don’t let her know we’re her goddamned security detail,”  Dez sighed.
“And for god’s sakes, don’t fuck her.” Cam’s voice came out deadpan and flat, causing all heads to turn and look at him.  Half had a look of *are you fucking out of your mind* while the rest just seemed to stare blankly.  His shoulders raised in a shrug, as did his eyebrows, “what?  Was that not drilled into our heads like a thousand times this week?  I mean she’s hot, but I’m not keen on having a red dot from this mystery assassin on my forehead.”  Shrugging again, he leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms over his chest.
Nic closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath.  This was going to be a disaster, something deep inside told him that.  These were the 7 men whom he trusted far and above all others.  Trained assassins, hitmen, soldiers, and most importantly friends sat around this table.   They were going into Serbia, not known to be the bastion of peace and light.  There was only one other he would have liked to have on this team, but that man was out of pocket with no word on where he was or when he’d be back.
There was no doubt that the skill of the men sitting around the table was more than enough to combat any threat that came their way, any human threat that was.  Unlike some of the others, Nic was all too aware that while they were all human, some of the threats they might face would not be.  Melania’s mother was Marie LaVeau after all. It wasn’t like there wasn’t the possibility of something else showing up on scene.
Running a hand down his face, he again turned his attention to the males before him.  “This is Serbia.  We’re going to Gradina, it’s on the peak of the Jelica Mountain and is just south-west of Carcak.  This is a huge open area, but it IS the high ground.  We won’t have to worry about death from above unless it is a paratrooper.”  His gaze alternated between Cam and Dez, brothers who had both served in organizations that the government still denied existed before going into private contracting and becoming much more deadly than the government had ever trained them to be. “Elevation is approximately half a mile above sea level, so there shouldn’t be too much of an effect on all of us.  Be prepared though, train for it.  If Mel can out pace you and outrun you, I’ll personally kick your ass if she doesn’t gut you first.”  Nic chuckled as did some of the other men.  “You should all have your wire transfers by now and verified them.  That sum should tell you how important it is to my grandfather and I that nothing, and I do mean NOTHING, happens to Mel while we’re over there.  We WILL NOT have a repeat of Peru.  AM.I.CLEAR gentlemen?”  Heads nodded around the table.
All assembled had heard of what had transpired in the jungles of Peru and all had personally taken part in the eradication of all threats to Mel afterward.   There had been a little kidnapping, a little more torture, and a few that required a bullet to the brain to end the hunt for Mel’s life, but none there would have changed a thing.   Case, Donovan, Cade, and Gabriel had been the snipers responsible for watching over Mel 24/7 once she had been secured in the mansion in Gulfport, Mississippi.  While the petite and lithe brunette may not recognize them, there was little about the female that any of them wouldn’t recognize from hours of watching her through a scope.
As the meeting adjourned, the men each tucked a copy of the dossier into their jackets as they headed out.  While they had been over the plans for this trip repeatedly in the last week, none were about to let their guard down or not be fully prepared for what they were to face.  They might be getting to travel in private, first-class style, but they were still there to do a job. No, not just a job.  They were there as friends and ‘brothers’ to Nic, and they weren’t about to let a damn thing happen to Mel on their watch.  This might be a bit different from their normal covert and under-cover op, but the stakes were no less.
