YESYESYESYES okay okay okay under the cut because i really ramble + mentions of mental health issues

Theyr all in highschool because. school trauma haha

They have a counselor named Diane (she used to be an oc of mine back when i was really struggling so I thought it would be sweet if she had my memories from that time and decided to help people with it kinda like xiomara)

May is a really good artist (not in the "shes bipolar so she channels it though art" way i lowk hate that stereotype) ALSO SHE'S BIPOLAR LOL uhh also she's extremely lesbian. i have pages for them on pronouns.cc that show all their orientations etc

Anisa psychosis real... free's mental illness is by far the most difficult to treat because of her altered perception of reality lol, wing really likes obscure eng vocasynth because it describes what they feel beyond the things she's "allowed" to watch. Postcanon they are the only one who didn't drop out/finish college yet lol

Carmen oh god carmen... well first it is a vocasynth fan AND also likes that emo nerd music (/POSTIVE)... you know like will wood, tally hall, lemon demon etc, blood is kinda a way to vent my frustrations with the provided mental health services that only know how to treat depression and anxiety

Inaaya is an absolute ICON!!! postcanon she's an indie musician with like 15 soundcloud listeners BUT SHE'S HAVING FUN AND THATS WHAT MATTERS!!!! being a POC woman she REALLY doesn't wanna fit the "unfaithful feisty foreign woman" stereotype (i cringed just writing that LOL) so she puts on a more subservient persona which leads to her... issues (this WILL be a comic i promise im not edging the lore just because)

Lexi is a trans woman which is VERY important to her lore i promise. She definitely relates to the first part of verified by YFM lol ... she LOVES that frog and toad book, (reads it with carmen every once and a while, carmen calls it "very yaoiful") every time i draw her i mutter "cottagecore lesbian" under my breath
