It’s that time of the year again! :D

First and foremost, I hope everyone is fine, safe and healthy in this pandemic. Always wear a mask. Keep your hands clean. Practise social distancing. We can surely overcome it. ♥

Now...this is a bit short noticed, since I’ve been super busy, but here are the themes for this year’s EruNile Appreciation Week, which will start on October 9, 2020. 

As usual, the rules:

1. Just make sure they are strictly EruNile / ErwinxNile; other characters/pairings/third wheels are allowed as long as EruNile is the main focus of the work.

2. All matter of work are accepted - fanart, fanfiction, drabbles, fancomics, sketches, memes - as long the first rule applies.

3. Anthro/kemomimi, n/sfw, g/ore, m/preg etc. are allowed. Just make sure to tag them appropriately and abide by the rules of the platform you decided to share your works on (tumblr definitely do not accept n/sfw and extreme g/ore, so might as well post them elsewhere, like Privatter for example). 

4. There are 2 themes set per day. You may do either one, or both. It’s up to your creativity. Day 5 is a free theme day, so you can go for any themes that you personally fancy.

5. There’s no limit to the amount of fanworks per theme. As long as the theme is met, go wild.

6. No hating/bashing/anti the fanwork and fanartist allowed. Wrongdoers will be immediately blocked.

7. You can use the tag #erunileweek2020 so I can share your wonderful fanworks in here.

2020 was a pretty hectic year, that’s for sure.

I would blame the lack of updates on what generally happened in 2020, but I know it’s more than that. Mid-2020, I got a new boss who was unbelievably toxic by the year end, and my company was expected to close down by 2022 if the mother board decided to do so, which is very likely at this point. These motivated me to do a job search again. On that note, job postings aren’t easy to come by with the way the economy plummets due to pandemic, so I started a few freelancing jobs, slowly filling up my lockdown time (apart from work) with something more meaningful. I also invested in a few programming classes in hopes it could leverage my resume. Now, 2021 rolled in, and I still feel like I am struggling in a way.

Currently we are in our second major lockdown, which will last until February, if the numbers are proven to decrease every day. I am still vigorously searching for the next job so I can leave this one as quickly as possible. I am still taking online classes, and doing side jobs as an emergency route if for whatever reason my current company doesn’t need me anymore. Plus, I fear my depression is slowly coming back, and I’m pushing my hardest not to let it overwhelm me.

Hence...my lack of anything artsy in this platform, and my other social media platforms, since...I don’t know...October? November? I know the last drawing I did was for Erunile Appreciation Week and that was that. Since then, I felt like I didn’t have time to draw anything. Or more like, no inspiration to draw anything.

So you can say that is also a struggle for me right now.

I know I neglected my Patreon for a while to get myself settled down with the other things that’s going around. I am also weighing if I should continue my Patreon or try another cheaper platform (friends suggested Buy Me A Coffee, but I’m not sure if it’s good?), or maybe just compiled the image sets and sell them in Gumroad. This is something I have to decide soon.

Anyways. I try to post something, at least once a month. More if I am able.
