Hey Wil! As a fellow DM I was wondering if you could give me some advice? I'm facing having to kick a person out of my D&D group due to bad behavior (frequently interrupting, using and breaking people's things, picking fights with other players, not showing up to sessions with no warning, etc). I was planning to giving him a warning and a chance to change his behavior before I draw the line. As this is my first time having to do this, do you have any advice on how I could approach the situation?

If someone is disrupting your game and preventing you and your players from having fun, you have to kick that person out. There’s nothing wrong with that.

Whether you give a warning or not is really your call, and would probably be based upon how well you know that problem player. If you think they will genuinely consider how their behaviour is affecting the group, and sincerely make an effort to change it, then give the warning. But if you’re giving the warning so you don’t feel guilty, I don’t think it’s worth letting that toxic person stay in your group for even one more encounter.

Good luck. I know it’s uncomfortable to face these things, and I think it’s really great that you’re standing up for your campaign and your players.

Does dgm even have many canon ships? Lmao if I go non-dgm then Hirunaka no Ryuusei pissed me off to no end. I actually dropped it around the 50s (which I rarely do) and was glad. How do you spend an entire manga building one dynamic and then settle for second best? Ahhhhhhh. 

This is so old and some of you may laugh at me for it, but Gakuen Alice? Just fuck me up. There’s also Meteor Methuselah/Immortal Rain. They all deserved better. 

But this is all romantic, and it’s easier with dgm if I go the platonic route. Neah & Mana??? I don’t even know what happened but already they deserved better. Cross and Maria? Mana and Allen. Listen, dgm has so many relationships (friendship or otherwise) that deserved better.

Voltron Tabletop RPG au

So what if the entirety of Voltron is actually taking place as a D&D-style RPG on a college campus?

-Pidge is that one kid who graduated high school early and played a lot of D&D with her brother so she thought it would be a good idea to make friends

-Hunk is also a D&D veteran and was SO EXCITED when he heard there was a board game club at his college.

-Lance is the guy who thought college would be a never-ending string of parties and grew very bored when he found out that’s not the case.  He’s never played a tabletop RPG before, but his roommate, Hunk, swears he’ll have fun.

-Keith’s advisor insisted he find a new extracurricular activity after he was kicked out of Taekwondo club for breaking a kid’s nose.

-Shiro is the stressed-out grad student who desperately needs a hobby that isn’t studying.

-Coran is the faculty advisor for the club who also DMs the sessions.

-Allura is the transfer student who joins the club while Shiro is away on a study abroad program.

-Basically, everything is the same as canon except it’s taking place in an RPG.

-“Hunk, you said there’d be girls here!  There’s only one girl and she’s like twelve!”  “Screw you, man, I’m sixteen.“

-Shiro has NOTORIOUSLY bad luck with rolls.  Everyone is convinced his dice are cursed.

-Lance is that one guy whose go-to solution to any situation is to try and seduce his way out of it.

-“Hunk, how do you wish to proceed?”  “Can I try seducing the rock-girl?”  “Hunk no tHAT’S MY THING!”

-Keith, being the slightly morbid guy he is, is constantly trying to see what it would take to kill his character off.  Coran knows what he’s trying to do and is constantly blocking him with deus ex machinas

-Keith: I try to ram the shield with my ship, sacrificing myself in the process.  Coran: *slams Lotor’s figurine down on the table* I think the fuck not, son.

-“Fall of the Castle of Lions” is the result of everyone having a shit day when it comes to rolls

-“I get into the elevator to go to the pool.”  “I’m going to the pool too.”  “Wait so you’re both on your way to the pool…in your bathing suits…together?”  “Yes?”  “Roll a d20.”

For the ask. Roy x Edward "please don't leave me"

Ed was dozing on the edge of Roy’s bed, one arm outstretched to the older man. The same arm he swore to regain, Roy noticed.

Or, well, he felt. The Truth had taken his sight, but he could still notice things. The shift of the bed, the soft snoring as Ed dozed. The way Ed’s arm felt so frail, so cold. He imagined Alphonse was in the same boat as Ed’s arm, cold and frail.

Roy had never been more terrified than when Riza had told him, with a shaking voice, that Ed had drawn a transmutation circle in the Earth, activating it. He still felt the runes she’d traced on the palm of his hand, noting the placement of each as Roy mentally mapped it out in his head.

Ed was going to bring Alphonse back, he’d said, and everyone that hadn’t dealt in alchemy believed it. Those that had, had asked what he was giving in exchange, but he waved it off by saying that it was already taken care of.

Only Roy knew, or thought he knew, what Ed was planning.

A life for a life.

Alphonse back for the price of Edward.

It was the moment Roy realized that somewhere along the way, he’d fallen in love with Ed.

He’d been overjoyed when Ed returned, masking it as joy for Edward and Alphonse finally getting their bodies back. And now, with Alphonse safely resting and regaining his strength, Ed could be found at Roy’s side.

Roy took Ed’s hand in his own, thumb rubbing circles on the skin.

“Please, don’t leave me,” he whispered, thankful that the other bed in the room was empty. “Not again.”

3. Fuck, Take a Bullet for, Murder

I actually have no idea who Suzuya or Yashiro are so I mean, I’m going off of what google images gave me. But uh, I’d probably fuck Juuzou. He looks pretty cute and idek. To be honest I’d take a bullet for Shogo, he’s was actually like, one of the very, very few characters I liked from that show. I feel a bit bad, ‘cause Yashiro sounds like a nice person but I’d have to murder him.
