Honestly, it's about time I started finishing these - especially getting the other part of this polycule uploaded.

So, this is the other piece of the polycule that is Ruggie, Emil, and @ramshacklerumble's OC Bobbi. Ruggie and Emil get together first before Emil and Bobbi get together... and then before Bobbi and Ruggie get together.

The name "Sunrise" is kind of a bit of a play on the fact that Lion King describes the Elephant Graveyard as the place where "the sun doesn't touch". And with Emil being a Gothel expy who's disposition is "kinda sunny", I figured it would be cute to sort of allude to the fact that Emil is Ruggie's sunlight.

Anya is going to get her third Toni because of Damian. She will see that show and she will try to hypnotize people with a pendant, she will first try on Damian and since they’re friends, he will feel bad for her so he will play along and act like he is really hypnotized by her. He convinced Becky, Emile and Ewen (even other students from other grades because it’s cute and hilarious) to play along. Let me tell you how Anya got to eat all the peanuts in the world and the most expensive menu during lunch.

In the afternoon, Anya “hypnotized” many people to scream like a specific animal so she can have a zoo. Many Eden students are barking, meowing, mooing and even quacking behind Anya. Finally Madam Schlag comes and is ready to give bolts to this crazy crowd and they all get scared, some high school student are even running away. Anya stops everyone and goes like “Lemme handle this.” she confidently walks towards Schlag with her pendant and she starts moving it before her eyes.

“Anya is going to count to three and when she snaps her fingers, you old lady will become an elephant.” Anya says with confidence while Schlag is looking at the pendant.

“One, two...”

“Three hours of detention.”

Schlag snatches the pendant away and gives Anya a Bolt before leaving everyone behind. You can guess the facial expressions and the awkward silence. Of course Damian, Emile and Ewen are crying tears because they can’t stop laughing. And Anya wants to fight Sy-on because that’s his fault.

Another episode of 'missing the forest for the trees' by taking things far too literally

And today, it's models! Specifically, Euden's models, who, when I was talking with WillofWinnie and showing how the Mega Monarch Emile fight had a mini model cutscene before, some with funny expressions looking up at him, when I could have sworn I saw something.

Gala Euden's model seemed to be tinier than Euden's. (No don't worry, this isn't going to be more of the whole 5'1 semi-joke line here from earlier!).

Here's a good example of what I mean, with 3/4 of his models in a line.

See how Base Euden just, overall has a bigger frame? Than the other two. Like, his curiass more juts outward, whereas G!Euden's plate actually cuts inward to him at a spot. So then, naturally, I laid the two on top of eachother to see if one actually had a bigger presence or if my eyes were playing tricks. And while the results aren't definitive, I think base Euden has an overall bigger 'influence'.

Euden's entirely subsumed his G!Euden's face, not even some of the weird expression clipping you see when you do this with some other models. The actual main part of his torso is base Euden, and while G!Euden does peek out in some spots, even they kinda get overtaken by some of og!Euden's decorations, like the orange stripe on the cloth. His legs are also almost all og!Euden.

The scales tip even more for a comparison to Bondforged vs og:

Now, here's where I give the obligatory, "there's a far more rational explanation to this than a deliberate decision" in the form of helping the game run better as well as getting more experienced with creating models with more detail in less space. Take a look at the wireframe for og! and G! Euden's models. In general, less lines mean better performance (or so I understand in my very minimalistic coding understanding)

It's kinda hard to tell, but Gala Euden overall is a bit less dense with them in spots. WillOfWinnie confirmed that overall it seems like they got better at making wireframes with fewer vertices (though summer Euden kinda throws that out the window because, as Winnie says, more skin=harder to look good with fewer lines as the lines=/smooth, round areas well).

So there's the rational explanation for that. And of course, throw in possible stylistic shifts for how they wanted the models to look and we can pretty much put this to bed instead of a grand conspiracy.

Still. Overthinking is my hallmark.

And all I can say is that it's great unintentional angst fodder that would fit nicely within the canon story. Euden's suddenly been thrust into leading a new nation in war, reeling from his only surviving parent's death and struggling to deal with the rest of his siblings for one reason or another (even if most weren't close). He's also doing vastly more exercise than whatever sword training he did at the castle between actually fighting in battles, traveling, and shapeshifting and thus expending a lot more energy.

Between that and other little differences in the models (Euden actually gets paler for his summer art and continues this into Bondforged, as you can kinda see in the face for og vs bonds overlay) is it any wonder that he might've grown a bit thinner from all that stress and constant work? My boy is out here collapsing a bit too often, it seemed, in stories too. Maybe he just wasn't eating enough to upkeep with all the crazy shenanigans going on if he was trying to temper his eating so Cleo didn't have to deal with yet another young man with the appetite of an elephant with Ranzal and Luca?

As me and my friend were injecting a bit of levity: "Maybe that's why his belt fits perfectly in his og model but all the ones after it he's got plenty extra" and "no wonder his summer trunks look like they're about to fall off without the belt: he went shopping with his previous last known sizes from before he left the castle" as further 'proof' of this obviously false theorem.

But hey, as Winnie said: "Pretty neat it can line up like that, intentional or no". And that really says it all.

Bonus round: Gotta give the award for 'most unfitting belt on Euden' to this concept art of him in the official artbook, though. I mean look at they are compared to where his body actually is! (I do like the little butterfly in the background crystal art though, aside from the whole black vs. white and red edginess).

Remus got up from his bed and it was quite noticeably that he'd recently eaten in his unsual demon way. With his skin less pale and his movements less slow and shaky he looked a lot more like Roman, which he would probably vehemently deny.

You followed along the long white halls that made up the succubi living quarters. He made a sudden turn into something that looked like a mix between a library and an office. It stood out from the rest of the halls since it was bathed in warm earth tones. Brown floors and bookcases mixed with green desks and beige mats.

A succubus was sitting up on one of the desks with their back turned against Remus and you. Remus got a mischevious grin on his lips as he put his finger against his mouth to make you shush.

"That's Reeeemmmmyyy! Let's spook the guts out of them!" He was half whispering even if he fully knew they couldn't hear him.

He sneaked on the tips of his toes while laughing. His tail was swinging back and forth behind him out of evil excitement. He stopped right behind Remy and got ready to pounce when Remy suddenly turned around and smacked him on the forehead like a sibling would.

Remus' mouth hung agape for a moment before exclaiming "HOW DID YOU KNOW I WAS COMING!?!? You sneaky fuck! You ruined my scare!"

While he talked he signed every third word or so with his hands. He had a bad habit of skipping signs when he got filled with any sort of extreme emotion.

'I could still see your shadow Ridiot' Remy signed back, signing the letter R before idiot to indicate it was such an idiotic move only one of the R twins could have been behind it.

'Gonna lock my shadow up before jumping on you next time' Remus rembered you were stil there and told you directly "This is Remy by the way. They're a silly bitch with brocoli growing out of their ass and-"

'I can still read lips RIDIOT!' Remy interrupted, making their hand movements bigger to show they were doing the sign language equivalent of yelling.

"And they're deaf so please think of that if you're gonna speak to them" He covered his mouth before continuing so Remy couldnt read his lips "Andasillybitch" He moved his hand away again signed to Remy 'This is sketch. She's one of those weird sunglassed non demons that keep popping up'

He held you up like you were a tiny dog or a ferret. You got a good look at Remy. Their stark white hair stood out the most, you hadn't seen any demons with non human hair colors so far. They wore sunglasses that hid their eyes and their blue horns looked a bit like a rams. Their skin was so pale it took almost a blueish tone that matched with their blue and black clothes.

Remy waved hello to you while giving a relaxed smile.

'You here to talk with Emile?' The sign for Emile was one they'd made up. It was like a mix of the signs for honey and babe. 'Cause you sure as hell wasn't here yesterday when you should have. Y'know Orange's gonna super bitch about that on the next meeting'

Remus waved it off "Yeah Yeah. I'll gnaw off his feet and feed the toes to crows or something"

Remy's expression softened a little as they asked 'Were you on earth?'

He nodded. They silently bumped their forehead against his, they knew he was only on earth if he had to do his job.

They stood up and let him lean his head against theirs as he followed them a bit further into the room where Emile Picani had his desk set up.

Emile was focused on writing something with a pen with a lil elephant eraser on the top of it. He had a beanbag as a chair, a stitch plushie watching from the top of a stack of books and his desk was decorated with stickers from various cartoons.

He shone up like the sun when he saw the three of you. Remy made place for themself on his lap and kissed his cheek. He had a fluffy afro and long reddish horns that nearly created a circle around the top of his head, like a saint. He wore loose brown soft clothes and a bright pink tie.

"Remus! Just the demon I've been looking for" Emile scrambled to find his glasses and report card in the mess that was his desk "Ready to give your monthly report?"

"No I'm ready to assasinate the both of you..Kidding uhuhahauhhhghh...." He let out a sigh "I've seduced 4 humans this month"

"Aw buddy. You must be hungry" Emile commented like he usually did while writing it down "I'm sure you're just a late bloomer. You'll find someone that tingles your tongle someday. The latest bloomed flowers are the prettiest"

During a collaboration between class 3-C and 3-D, Caius turned himself into a puppy. He also turned Xue Long into a tiny dragon. Caius does not remember anything about being a puppy, but he was an energetic little puppy that ran around the whole school. Xue Long definitely remembers what happened.

Sebastien accidentally turned Aaron into a cat. Aaron had been walking in to deliver some papers to Crewel, but ended up becoming an unsuspecting victim. He trapped Sebastien in a closet for that.

Jian-Yu accidentally made a hair growth potion and became Rapunzel for a day.

Hubert turned himself invisible. People only saw floating clothes.

Emil accidentally created a body swap potion and swapped bodies with Xinyi. Xinyi hated it.

Nalani put all of class 1-D to sleep.

Aster turned himself back into his childhood merform.

Elise turned Matthew into a flamingo. Matthew did not mind that for some reason.

Haoyu accidentally shrank Shen and Shi Yin. But Shen had turned Haoyu into a mouse at the same time. Shi Yin's potion gave himself pink hair.
