She sighed and placed her head on his shoulders. "I feel like your friends hate me for loving you. Eli's girlfriend makes me feel so unwelcome. Almost like she prefers her over me. I feel like they're trying to take you from me and I just want them to like me." His friends posed a threat to her knowing that if anyone could get to him it'd be the two who seem to be team Nettie. "Nettie is fine just feel like she's a bully."

"She once set my clothes on fire because her boyfriend broke up with her. She claimed I took him from her. Once she has her sights on something or someone she doesn't like it when they stray. Burned down the bar because she found out I was the one Issac was straying with. She has ties to the mafia though no one can pin it on her." Nettie chuckled into her glass. "I afraid you wouldn't be able to stop it. Her connections are experts on making things seem like incidents."

Eli sighed and rubbed Laurel's back. "Leave it to him to get into a giant mess. Remind me to kick his ass later on." He kissed Laurel's forehead and went off to get Issac. "Hey, man. TV cable sizzled again. Need your expertise to fix it. If you don't mind to part with him for a few minutes?" Jazz smiled sweetly and shook her head. "Not at all." Eli returned her smile and turned to Issac giving him one of his famous looks that said he was pissed.
