Listening to the tma as an impressionable person is so ridiculously hard. I don’t watch horrors or read thrillers, I heard a spooky story in a camp once and it has haunted me for years and I’m overall jumpy and paranoid as it is, as a person. SO YES I AM HAVING NIGHTMARES ABOUT SOME EPISODES OF TMA. YES I SLEEP WITH THE LIGHTS ON. BUT IS SO GOOD I CANNOT STOP LISTENING. BUT I AM ALSO SO SCARED. Send some help.

The agreement was made, and the wedding became expensive, just as Queen Alkmini had predicted. There were many prominent guests, and even the big throne room filled up.

The bride and groom didn't seem overjoyed, but perhaps they were affected by the seriousness of the moment.

The King of Koiláda Chalkoú was invited but did not come to the wedding. He was probably still a bit crossed, even though he had received a handsome compensation, in form of horses, cattle, gems and precious metals. However, he did send his sister to represent him at the wedding, the incredibly beautiful Princess Amphiera.

Other honorable guests were of course Prince Heraklis and his family. It was the first time little Myrrhini was attending publicly, but she seemed more interested in the birds outside than in the wedding ceremony.

The bride's family were also there, even if it was quite a long journey for them, and for that reason little prince Philokratis was left at home. Queen Laonome was not feeling well, it was possible that she was expecting again, so they took a more discreet position in the throne room, to be able to slip out to the private chambers if necessary.

The distinguished ladies of Manthos were all there, of course, and Kyria Figaleía wouldn't miss it for the world.

It truly was a grand celebration, and everybody agreed that it had been a fabulous ceremony.

Except maybe for the bride and groom.

Hey, everyone, call me Eleven.

Guess I'm a new-ish Simblr in town, though, gotta admit, I'm flying by the seat of my pants here. I've been playing Sims for quite a while – mainly Sims4, I was never actually a Simmer Kid. I recently got into editing my screenshots and stuff, but had no place to dump 'em. So, here I am. Fun Fact; I don't have a Simself, mostly because I imagine running into them in-game would break my immersion, like, damn, what does this guy want.

Big CAS Player. Love making Sims, or remaking Townies. Editing screenshots is fun. I have gameplay ideas and so much lore, but I'm actually bad at playing them. Very little gameplay here, sorry. Mostly, I just wanted to have a Sims-oriented blog, that I can fill to my heart's content. Expect CC-Finds and Lookbooks. WCIF-friendly, but I'm a slow person. Currently my blog is a bit of a construction site – I like meticulously organizing my stuff, hence the mess.

Hopefully y'all don't have any big expectations. I treat the game like my personal little dollhouse. You can sit with me and watch, I guess. I sound a bit dry, but I like to think I'm pretty chill.

Alicia—aka Lish, aka Lisha, heck, she'll even answer to Al—is the official-unofficial big sister of the group, doing her best to provide a sense of stability and support to the rest, without tipping over into authority figure territory. Someone has to make sure teeth get brushed, break up fights, and generally just keep everybody out of trouble!

In a group that proclaims itself to be against both grown ups and rules, this is a delicate and sometimes frustrating balance to strike—one that hasn't always left her a lot of time for her own pursuits. When she's not looking after anybody else's business, chances are good she'll have her nose in a book or a paintbrush in her hand.

Max, Skip, and Dasia—who all go by the last name Wild—have little, if any, memory of the before times or the families they were born into. Life on the road hasn't been easy, but they make the best of it.

Pedantic rules note: I rolled a die for the "joker" unlocked by Octavia completing her aspiration a few rotations back, and got a 4 — meaning I have 4 open CAS points or slots for new contributing members of our community. However, I am only spending one of those CAS points on Alicia (i.e. she's the only member of their household joining as an "active" member of the community, contributing to its growth by building skills, etc.). The younger kids will all function essentially as "townies" that have joined an active household per the BACC rules—until the time if/when I decide to spend a CAS point unlocking them as well. So naturally you can expect that we will be spending the vast majority of our time with Alicia and her perspective.

Bake Off: A Harringrove Sim Story

Chapter 3

Copperdale Studios, early morning.

The studio is full as Nancy hosts her morning show for channel 4. Her guests are Steve & Billy. As the commercial break dies down, Jonathan gives the signal they are going live.

Nancy: Hello! Welcome back! I'm Nancy Wheeler and you're watching 'Good Morning With Nancy'. Joining me on the couch today are Billy Hargrove & Steve Harrington, the co-owners of Copperdale's very own Harringrove Cafe, and this summer the judges of Copperdale's very first Armature Bake Off!

She pauses to allow her guests to wave to the audience. They give an enthusiastic cheer.

Nancy: Steve, Billy, thank you for coming on.

Steve: We're glad to be here!

Nancy: since the announcement we've been flooded with calls and messages from folks who want to know more about the competition: where can they watch, how can they apply. But my sources tell me that you've already narrowed down the teams?

Steve: Yep that's right. We personally invited six of Copperdale's most talented amateur bakers to compete - who also happen to be really good friends of the cafe!

Nancy: Do you think that's fair though? It sounds like there's a lot of talented folks in the area who would love to be considered.

Billy shrugs.

Billy: Our business our rules. We don't work with just anybody.

Steve: For good reason! We've collaborated on menus in the past with many talented individuals and we've always been careful to maintain a high standard. So for this endeavor it just made sense to reach out to those folks.

Nancy: Well, viewers are excited to hear more about the teams. So lets get into it!

Cut away to montage

Team 1. El & Max

Most people can't tell that Billy & Max are siblings just by looking at them but five minutes in each other's company usually does the trick. Max and her best friend Eleven are local college students and when they aren't focused on school, or helping out at the cafe, they can be found hanging out in the game room at Argyle's Pizza Palace. Max loves to whip up tasty treats in her dorm room, and her additions to the menu have always been a hit. When she heard that the winner of the competition would get their own personalized menu....

Cut back to Studio

Billy: Wait a minute! What did you tell her?!

Steve: Lets talk about team #2! You guys are gonna love the next team.

The camera cuts away again

Team 2. Argyle & Eddie

Steve and Billy's friend Argyle is known for the best pizza in Copperdale. Argyle got his start as a delivery boy and inherited the business after his uncle retired. The Pizza Palace has flourished under his leadership and has become Copperdale's go to spot for game night and greasy eats to satisfy anybody's munchies! The other half of this dream team duo is Eddie Munson, lead guitarist of 2nd Grave. The band started right here in Copperdale! They can often be heard practicing in the backroom of the record shop where Eddie works. But now that the band is taking off, Eddie probably won't be seen behind the counter too much longer. A lesser known fact about him is his secret passion for baking soft fudgy brownies that will take you out of this world!

Cut back to studio.

Nancy: Yes. Viewers will be happy to know that one of those members includes local rock legend, Eddie Munson of 2nd Grave. Is it true?

Billy: Unfortunately.

Nancy: After their single 'squeeze' reached the billboard top ten this summer, 2nd Grave has seen a great deal of sudden success. How did you convince Mr. Munson to take time out for this endeavor?

Steve: It was all Billy.

Billy: Yeah he pimps me out.

Nancy laughs nervously and tries to steer the conversation back to something more suitable for her younger viewers.

Nancy: I'm sure you're kidding.

Steve: No, really! Truthfully Billy is very good with people. He can be very persuasive...

A few weeks earlier....

Eddie and his band have regular gigs on Saturday night at Copperdale's only nightclub. It's a good opportunity to ambush him, Steve thinks.

But things don't go exactly as planned. Heather gets a little too drunk, and Steve leaves to make sure Robin and her girlfriend get home safely.

But Billy's got this covered. All he has to do is remind Eddie of how important this project is to Steve. Munson is a total marshmallow under all that leather.

Back in the studio...

Nancy: Aww, it sounds like you guys have some really great friends. It's nice knowing that you can always count on them to be there.

Steve smiles and Billy shrugs, looking a little embarrassed with the sentimental turn of the conversation. Nancy turns towards the camera.

Nancy: Coming up, we'll reveal the final team and meet the amateur bakers in person. After this commercial break!

I’m also completely hung up on the mention of the meeting they had in Mexico? Because that was after Daniel hit rock bottom in Cota and the weekend he had that brilliant drive (glimpses of his old self) where he built up the gap after he got the penalty?

I’m sorry but I don’t believe for a second that meeting was about Daniel coming to do marketing duties for them for a year. Christian told him to come home, that they believed in him and they could fix this. Even putting up on the sim right after Abu Dhabi, why the urgency?

This has ALWAYS been the plan.

i mean based on how fucking burnt out daniel looked towards the end of last year, i'd absolutely believe that it WAS primarily about this third driver pr/marketing/sim/reserve role, giving him time off while still staying connected to the sport etc etc etc. but at the same time, i wouldn't be surprised at all to find out that there were hints towards a potential future for him within the team in some capacity or that he took the role knowing that may have been the case

The King of Manthos, the young Mijararos, had payed a friendly visit to King of Selinódasos, the wealthy King Akrísios, who was also married to Mijaros' aunt, Queen Laonome. This was a courtesy visit, but with an agenda. They had an important issue to discuss: To strengthen the ties between the two kingdoms through an agreement on marriage.

When seeing his potential wife, King Mijararos was quite startled.

- But she is still a child! I don't think this is a good idea.

- Well, you knew her age already, didn't you? She is almost ten winters.

- When grandmother said "marry your cousin" I didn't realize she meant Princess Nikh. I always assumed she meant Princess Euthalia. This is not what I had prepared for.

- Princess Euthalia is already spoken for. We have already made an agreement with the Kingdom of Koiláda Chalkoú.

- I don't mind cousin Mijarare, Nikh said, I know you will be a kind husband. And also grandma and uncle Heraklis will be there, so I'm not afraid.

- Thank you for that, Nikh my dear, but it's not that easy. There are expectations that you simply can't fill.

- There would be a long period of engagement of course, at least three winters. The important thing now is the agreement, not the fulfillment.

- I hear you uncle, and I respect that, but I ... I just can't. The age difference bothers me, and it will probably do so for many years. The gap is too large. I'm sorry, I will just have to decline.

- Mother will not be pleased, Laonome said. The whole family will be so disappointed.

- It can't be helped aunt Laonome, this is impossible. I will have to look for a wife elsewhere I'm afraid.

- Is it my fault cousin Mijarare? Am I too ugly? You don't love me?

- Of course I love you! Just not in a husband-and-wife-way, okay? Besides, you are the prettiest girl in the whole kingdom and any young man will be proud to marry you, as soon as you get a bit older.

- I'm really sorry uncle. But might I suggest that you consider my brother Linos for Nikh? They are closer in age, and he is second to the throne.

- I was hoping for a more prestigious marriage, so I don't know. It's not what I had planned for my daughter. This is most unfortunate.

- My men! Laonome cut in. We must be able to solve this somehow.

- I don't see how, Mijararos answered.

- Not me neither, Akrisios agreed.

- Dear nephew, would you consider marrying Euthalia, if she wasn't spoken for?

- I would. We are about the same age at least.

- So if we can reach an agreement with the King of Koiláda Chalkoú to let her go, would we have an agreement? Even if the dowry would be lower?

- Why should it be lower?

- Because we would have to offer something to the King of Koiláda Chalkoú. As a compensation.

- Do you think he would be willing to discuss it?

- It's worth a try.

- And Euthalia, how would she feel about it, would she consider living at Manthos palace?

- Oh, absolutely. She wasn't very keen on going to Koiláda Chalkoú, that's for sure. She's been sulking for weeks now.

- Ironically, that sounds promising. So maybe we have an agreement then?

- Provided the King of Koiláda Chalkoú agrees; yes!

- When I come home, Mijararos added, I will suggest that the house of Manthos and grandmother assists with the compensation, just to make sure he will think it's worth it.

- You make it sound so easy, Laonome laughed.

- What?

- "I will suggest that grandmother assists". That woman is not known for accepting any suggestions easily. Unless it's in her interest.

- It's just a matter of making her realizing just that, it is in her interest. I know what I will have to do.
