still tinkering with the modern zoroark possession au variant so have some more ideas to throw around

both the Pearl and Diamond Clans have some of the last Hisuian variants with them. Unfortunately since most of them are male, their lines will end with them. the exceptions are Lady Lilligant and Lady Sneasler, the former who accompanies Arezu and the latter who accompanies no one at first until Ingo goes full time Pearl Clan and she joins his roster of Pokemon.

Cyllene is initially stuck in the corporate version of a toxic relationship. she was fired from her last job after the fallout with Team Galactic’s plans, even though she had no connection to her older brother’s actions and was just shy of being penniless when she was finally hired by Kamado bc nobody wanted to take the chance on her. She knows if she leaves her current job she might wind up in that situation again, but the longer this goes on, the harder it is to say what Kamado and Volo are doing is right, and in the end she ends up helping the Pearl Clan.

although she can’t help but notice that the current Kamado seems... different than the man who hired her. He was always a touch paranoid, but he’s gotten worse ever since he started speaking with Champion Volo.

also volo: it’s such a shame that your brother had his body snatched by a Zoroark, Emmet. it’s a good thing it happened recently. maybe we can still save him :)

Elesa knows something is very, very wrong, but she can’t leave Emmet’s side. What if things get worse? but damn if she doesn’t end up playing double agent with Drayden.

extremely funny scenario where after Ingo’s reveal Elesa corners him and tricks him into making a train pun. he just. crouches into a little ball and covers his masked face with his hands. dammit Elesa. Elesa just laughs. yeah. that’s the Ingo she knows.

(possible Elesa and Drayden tag team battle against Emmet somewhere down the line? painful but also, absolutely sick.)
