KHR reference in ēlDLIVE (part5)

Hiya guys, welcome back to another part of KHR reference in ēlDLIVE ep! Here we got ep11 and the references are a bit tricky in this one. I actually watched the scene through but seconds later have to backtracked it cause I saw two familiar buildings, somehow, somewhere before.

Here we got a scene from ēlDLIVE showing DeMille’s ship appearing on Earth at a school...

Now, where have we seen this school before??? Yes, it’s that infamous Namimori middle school

And after that Chief Laine asked Dr Love to fire the secretly installed cannon/laser to the DeMille ship and one of them is installed in...

Would you look at that old torn down building which look a lil bit awfully similar to this building from KHR ...

Yeah, I am pretty sure that’s Kokuyo Land building where Mukuro and the gang reside. I can’t find better picture to compare it but I can be sure that those buildings from ēlDLIVE scenes are those buildings from KHR.

It’s so nostalgic and fun to spot these lil references they put into the new show! I hope to find more and also, ēlDLIVE is getting more exciting! Watch the show! :)

I can’t believe I managed to finish it before the anime started. Will probably take a break before going to Book 2 (where we meet PINKAAY and the other guys). Will probably have to edit it heavily before even trying to post it here (lowkey looking for betas more proficient in Japanese than me)

Maybe I’ll translate some other things on my break, like the new elDLIVE chapter (since the person who usually translates seems to be taking a while), or the character profiles in the OKH guidebook, or finally finish the Amano interview can you believe it’s almost a year , and maybe I’ll make some detailed summaries of the book too.

Can’t wait for the anime!

Hello, I saw your KHR gif edits and was wondering where did you get the animation from? I've watched KHR a long time ago but don't remember these being in the anime. (I remember the scenes as official illustrations.) Thank you!

Hi! the gifs are from this! its a khr x eldlive special ^^ and yeah its basically an animated version of a section in the Rebo to Dlive art book.  no problem!!

elDLIVE ENDING!!!

IS TOO GOOD FOR MY HEART!!!

Sadly I’m too stunned to take a pic. Too bad there’s a scene in the ending with noticeable quality drop (when Misuzu sitting alone in the playground toy horse or bike or whatever it is, I don’t know the name), but it’s still really good overall. Maybe it’s too ChuMi (and VeroNino) for some but definitely not me. Simply love this.

The episode itself is expectantly as boring as the manga chapter, sadly. I hope we’ll reach Season2 story soon. The only interesting new thing is the transition breaking the fourth wall. As in, Misuzu actually swiped Chuta off the screen lol. Actually I have a lot more complaint about this episode, but I’ll let it slide for the ending.
