Jakob Mayr, Beyonsens/зáумь (artist book). Suprematism turned it’s back on the traditional visual concept of illusional three-dimensional space and moved on to a crucial new concept for art and visual design: irrational space. This book explores the concept of irrational space by varying the contrast between Malevich’s black square and it’s surrounding, while the book is being scrolled through. “Beyonsens” (зáумь) is the effort of making the irrational experienceable.
