I finally deep cleaned my altar space with warm water, some lavender, lemon, and just a pinch of salt, and then set it up for October.

Not gonna lie, I can feel that area breathing again for the first time in weeks. I finally feel calm and inspired again when I look at my altar.

Now I'll need to slowly work my way around my home, too, and I think I might use that lavender-lemon-salt mix on a few more areas. Some vinegar as well. Especially the kitchen, bathroom, and my tiny hallway.

So many things need a serious deep-cleaning session, but I'll try to be patient and work according to my physical abilities.

Hey can we stop accusing Jewish users of being Zionists because they *checks notes* think that October 7th was bad. I thought we’d all agreed that rape and torture are always bad no matter who it’s against and are never justified means of resistance or retribution, no? Because that’s what happened. People’s families all over the world have been affected by it.

Rape, torture, and murder of civilians are NEVER justified and are not how you effectively battle systemic oppression. No ifs or buts, full stop. If this is somehow controversial to you, I’m tempted to believe your compassion for Palestinians is trumped by your hatred for Israelis and Jews, and the fact that so many people seem to think that wanting freedom for Palestine AND thinking October 7th was horrific are inherently mutually exclusive beliefs is deeply, deeply disturbing to me.

If you see someone stating that rape and torture and murder are terrible and your reaction is not to agree, but to think “wow this person is obviously a Zionist and thinks that genocide is okay,” then there is something very ugly and broken inside you that I cannot help you fix any time soon. You have to work on that yourself.

October 7th AND the bombings of Gaza and Rafah are stains on history that should never have happened and should never be celebrated by anyone. I hope we can get to the point that we all agree on this.

I'm gonna guess you mean descended from Holocaust survivors & victims. In which case it's really sad that you think this way firstly? POC and non Jewish people did in fact die during the holocaust and many were targeted for not fitting the Nazis' idea of the "superior Aryan race".

From The Holocaust Encyclopedia: "When Adolf Hitler and the Nazis came to power in 1933, there were several thousand Black people living in Germany. The Nazi regime discriminated against them because the Nazis viewed Black people as racially inferior. During the Nazi era (1933–1945), the Nazis used racial laws and policies to restrict the economic and social opportunities of Black people in Germany. They also harassed, imprisoned, sterilized, and murdered an unknown number of Black people."

Also contrary to what some believe, and this may sound farfetched and I hope you're sitting down but bear with me- some people are actually more than one race. Some people are POC and white. We call this being biracial. Or in grade school, being an "Oreo". A mutt if they really want to dehumanize you

But while my relatives weren't targeted for their skin color as they were white, many people were. Black Germans and other POC did exist, were murdered and traumatized, and have passed down that generational trauma. Just as other persecuted populations even if it was much less it was no less a part of the genocide and ethnic cleansing.

UMBRELLA ACADEMY SEASON FOUR SPOILERS

it was ASS. throughout the show i kept letting little things go because ‘it’s okay, i have more of the show!’ but now there isn’t more of the show and i really cant let anything else go (wow bars). what should i talk about? how every character got thoroughly BUTCHERED? or how about how sparrow ben was the worst possible character he could have been? or how, for some GODFORSAKEN REASON, five had an affair with lila!?!??!!? i think season 3 set the show up for this colossal failure. if they had actually shot the various guns that were hung in season 1 (and 2, to some extent) instead of giving us random plotlines and characters for no reason, it wouldn’t have been complete and utter ASS. thank your for coming to my ted talk. please make me. famous. thank you.

also. The start of the game forcing u into the genesis comic feels. Very silly. its a tonal jump from the death to like have sudden narration. It shouldve been framed differently idk. Or just. Not inserted into the story. Anyways.

Love the beginning of this game. Setup is so good. I love Jacob and Mirandas intros. Jacob as the one who tells you the truth, who has a moral compass vs Mirandas sole purpose and drive for two years being to bring you back to life regardless of her impression or opinion of you personally.

i dont rly have a solid opinion on communism as an ideology itself (i simply dont know enough abt it to form one), but im a bit peeved at n concerned over how quickly communists, in western parts of the world especially, are to ignore n insult indigenous ppls whove lived n suffered under things like the ussr when they criticize any form of communism.
