Images in this review. It is good for patching holes in a wall. If you own rental property that is good stuff. For new construction or remodeling there are better solutions. I was replacing a damaged door with a pre-hung unit. This product filled the gap well and did not sag. However, it had less adherence to the adjacent wood and drywall materials than something like Sheetrock's EasySand 20 min joint mix. It also took a lot longer to set and it did contract slightly when compared to the various EasySand short working time mixes. Originally bout this stuff to cover some dents in our walls made by our kids. Works great! Only used about half. A few months later I went to cover up a hole the kids made with the garage Door hitting the wall too hard but the paste was dry and moldy?!? Not sure if I got a weird batch or if the shelf life is very limited. Ended up purchasing another one and plan to store it in an airtight container when not in use. It does work great. And decently priced. I'm old, so I remember the days when you had to make your own brand of 'spackle', and over the years, I've used many different iterations of more up-to-date versions. This is excellent. I've recently been renovating two rooms in our house after our son moved out, and this has been my go-to cannister as I move from spot to spot, divot to divot. The end results, after sanding and painting, are immaculate. In fact, as I move on to the next project, I'm about to buy yet another cannister! Unlike what I would have expected it stayed put, and most importantly, dried without cracking, which was surprising for such a thick application. I use this to fill small and medium sized holes and it goes on easy, dries good with minimal shrinking, and then finishes good. Make sure you seal the top well when you're done and this will last through many projects. After it drys the patched area seems very solid and would be difficult for anyone to ever know the area was patched. I would definitely recommend this product. Barron M. Top Contributor: Calligraphy. I love this spackle. It is a great consistency and the dry time in my environment was much faster than what was stated on the jar. Overall, highly recommended for household repairs. My dad is a painter so I'm not a stranger to sparkling paste and putty. Sadly, I recently took a dime-sized chunk out of my door frame with a carpet cleaner so I was trying to repair it. This stuff did incredible and it looks good as new. The key is to be patient and do multiple laters if it's a deep application and make sure to let it dry! If you are putting it on a textured surface like a wall, keep in mind this will be smooth after a light sanding so you can still notice it depending on how large of a hole you're filling, maybe hardly at all because this will be smooth.
