literally almost nothing more stressful to me than texting w sb you think is cool and the convo turning towards sending each other music….i don’t know you like that yet! its way too intimate how am i supposed to tell what you like!!!

#im talking to this guy and we’re talking abt funk and he sent me sth he thought I might like and I did! but he’s obviously more into #nowaday’s synth funk whereas what i listened to was more the meters funkadelic sly&the family stone kinda stuff I am esp self conscious of #the rock elements of it even tho that’s what I like abt it best (lit show me a good guitar track with wah and distortion/fuzz on it and #im sold) and I said I didn’t know of that was his cup of tea but he said I should just send him some stuff #and I literally spent 24+ curating and narrowing it down to 3 songs to send him I just did (we can do it by sly jungle man by the meters #drumskate by eric serra) and the amount of anxiety im feeling right now hhGDHSVSVDJSB #me #the american
