I love how spotify playlists are some people's door to their souls. They don't think other people are going to actually see their playlists songs, titles, descriptions and pictures. They are either clueless or couldn't care less.

However it may be, they open up through music and it's just amazing.

I think it’d be really funny if before he became Robin, Tim saw Batman doing some shit he didn’t like and was like, “Hmm, gotta fix that.”

Then went about it in the most-annoying-kid way possible.

Like, Tim sees Batman send Robin home even though Jason wasn’t sick (he would know) and didn’t have a test (he’d know this too). So the next morning, he skateboards up to Wayne Manor when he knows Jason is at school, Alfred is doing a grocery run, and Bruce is most likely trying to catch up on sleep.

He rings the doorbell seven times.

Bruce watches on a security monitor after being woken up as his neighbor’s kid ding dong ditches him and then takes off down the driveway on his skateboard. He’s so baffled by it that he doesn’t even ask himself why the kid isn’t in school.

This happens four more times before Bruce makes the connection and thinks, “This has something to do with Batman.”

Jod makes that shit a maelstrom. he dumps billions of souls into an eternity of rush hour traffic in Boston. the Resurrection Beasts might as well be 20+ years of construction delays every time they show the fuck up.

What happens when you're stuck in traffic for 10,000 years? wouldn't you do anything to be anywhere, anywhere else? what's left of you after sloshing around in a kiddie pool brimming with furious assholes honking their billion horns for TEN THOUSAND FUCKING YEARS?

Oh yeah: every now & then some shitass lyctor (dead but loving it!) buzzes by on their jetski to shove angels through a massive anus (or whatever) & looks upon you with pure disgust. They call you "mad" and "driven insane" by the River. You're drowning in a tsunami of everyone you ever knew and loved at the behest of Capitalism and a religious nutjob who got caught up on cows while he hyperfixated on Getting His Way, but his BBFs & their soul slaves get to tool around making your bones into servants or monsters or soap or, ugh, decor.... so....that's great.

You're filth to them - trash. They don't even know. They can't. They haven't been allowed.

People keep turning onto the River (non) Expressway, by the way. It never stops. You've been down here 10,000 years. you've been drowning under rotting corpses for 10,000 years.

Abigail (by far the most reliable scholar on the subject of the River) is convinced there's another side. it's a fucking river, right? ask a toddler to draw a river and they'll make two lines with blue in the middle. there's always two sides! it's, like, the only requirement!!

So what's on the other side? how do you get off this ride?

Starring Seo In Guk, one of my favorite Korean drama. I was very moved by the male character and his complexity. Their relationship is captivating, with a moving/sad story that will sweep you off your feet. Jung so min became my favorite actress through this drama.

2 ~ Because this is my first life

Starring Lee Min Ki, a drama with no headaches, a light-hearted story about a fake wedding. You'll see the male character open up over time. An endearing story that makes for happy evenings.

3 ~ Alchemy of souls 1

Starring Lee Jae Wook, I don't particularly like historical dramas, but this one transports you with its cinematography. The female character is very funny and will still take you through many emotions.

went to a talk with rabbi jacobs of t’ruah and the EIC of the forward the other day and it was just. such a fucking relief to be in an explicitly leftist and explicitly jewish space, where none of us had to like. spend twenty minutes apologizing for israel and disclaiming that of course there is no justification for the occupation, much less for the war, and just humbly groveling for a tiny crumb of being viewed as human being, before we were allowed to say “hey we’re all still pretty fucked up about 10/7 and in some cases the acquaintances and relatives who were killed or are currently hostages, and now it’s getting pretty antisemitic out there”. where there wasn’t any denialism or minimizing or attempts to paint hamas as heroic or 10/7 as justified and glorious, and so we were ironically more free to talk about how awful the current israeli government is because we didn’t have to spend a bunch of time prefacing it by demonstrating that we’re The Good Ones, we weren’t made to feel we had to prove we were The Good Ones in order to be allowed to speak or even remain, or in danger of having our grief and pain and fear minimized or mocked or ignored or celebrated. just knowing we all existed in the same reality and hadn’t succumbed to total epistemic closure, and we could disagree with each other and argue in good faith!!! goddamn I have genuinely felt a little physically lighter ever since, like something was less tight around my chest.

I’m finally watching bbh’s June 19th stream (day after Father’s Day) and he’s talking about removing everyone’s access to his base. I’ve seen people talking about how this could cause problems and lose him Forever and Bagerah’s trust but I think people - including Forever and Bagerah - are forgetting a crucial fact

Bbh is a single parent and has been from the start.

He has to be incredibly paranoid to keep Dapper safe. His paranoia is the only reason Dapper -and many of the other eggs - are still alive.

He can’t rely on other people to keep Dapper safe. He can’t tell Dapper to go live with another parent if his house is compromised. That’s why he has five different houses and keeps building more when too many people gain access.

I don’t think Forever or Bagerah have a right to complain about this considering they have 3/4 other parents/houses to keep their egg safe. They have a family structure that allows them a sense of safety that bbh has NEVER had.

Like yea, I understand why they would feel betrayed but from an objective pov, they have zero ground to stand on to protest because they have NO idea what bbh has gone through raising dapper alone, how could they? They have always had 3/4 other parents at their beck and call.

Trust doesn’t mean letting someone run rampantly through your house/safe space just because they feel entitled to it. Trust means having faith that if bbh is closing off his/Dapper’s house to you, he has a legitimate reason that doesn’t have anything to do with you personally.

Bbh has done so much for team friendship and taken down so many of his walls and boundaries for them that the fact THEY don’t have faith in him makes me sad. I trust team friendship and the q-ommunication smp to work everything out but I just hope Bagerah and Forever come to respect bbh’s boundaries a bit more :D
