You know what drives me crazy??

The stigma that religious men have to deal with. Some random ass Aunty just lectured me and asked me if I didn't open the door for her because my brother doesn't ALLOW me to open it.

I have my own fucking brain thank you very much and if my brother was to ask me not to do something I wouldn't do it out of respect and love. Not fear. Not because I'm oppressed. Not because I don't have the brain to think for myself. He raised me to have a brain of my own. Don't project on me 🙄

People need to stop assuming that just because someone "looks like a mullah" that they're oppressive pieces of shit. Islam makes you a better person and if it doesn't you need to re-evaluate your source of knowledge.
